Alright. Okay. It was the first day of high school... (though honestly it seemed to be closer to Recuperation Camp.) And don't get me wrong! I'm not a bad kid! I actually have really good grades. It's due to one thing and in thing only. Fear... In my case- ah that's for later.

Everyone at that high school was sent there for one reason or another. Though from my research it seemed to be because their parents needed to get their traumatized kids out of the house. Well... I said most- not my mom... She was scared for me. All she wanted me to do was overcome my fear!... I hope.

And with that dark thought in mind I struggled to get into my uniform- letting out a groan. It was a beige shawl, over a white polo. The skirt was the same beige as the shawl and it laid right above my knees, a pair of white socks snaked up to my thighs, soft knit patterns on them. I had to put on the deep blue shoes I bought for it, looped the matching belt around my waist, and placed a necklace around my neck. It showed the schools symbol.
It seemed a little excessive to me...

Soon after I hopped downstairs. But not before tying my hair up with a band I found that managed to match the blues I had on.
"Dawn! Dolly! Hurry up Dolly! the bus should be here soon... Gah- don't be late! I won't drive you" my mom yelled loudly, before handing me a piece of toast and kissing my forehead.

Oh god... This was the last time I'd see her till the end of the quarter. I totally managed to forget that the students stayed at school say from breaks. No matter what bags I had packed... Something told me I wouldn't be ready for this. Okay. I knew I wouldn't. I had forgotten the bags I was holding for gods sake!!

"Okay moma! Love you- no matter how far I travel-" I started, the toast now on a suitcase of mine.

She kissed my forehead softly and finished for me," I know your light will never leave My eyes."

With that I ran off, toast now in my mouth like some anime school girl. I chewed on my toast when I reached the bus stop, and silently pondered when I was going to get on.

Thankfully, my question was soon enough answered- as the bus came to the stop and I quickly hopped on it. As I stepped on I realized I knew exactly zero people who went here. I'd only heard stories... Great. I saw a guy looking slightly scared in one of the first rows. Being the 'social prodigy' I was I made the decision to sit next to him. I wasn't gonna regret this at all! Ugh-

"Um... Hi. So, who are you?" I said, attempting a grin," agh- my names Dawn by the way. But everyone calls me Dolly.

The blonde seemed to perk up slightly when he heard me," I'm Quinton... It's nice to meet you Dawn! Or Dolly of it's alright."

"That's fine!-" I squeaked out softly, fumbling with my raven coloured hair.

"So 'Dolly'," He let out a faint smirk," what are you in for? I'm here for Monophobia..."
"Oh... Um... Chronic Arachnophobia"

This was gonna be an... Interesting first day...
