Jamie walked into his new school nervously. His glasses were slightly broken as his sister tried to break them earlier. His dark brown hair was messy he hadn't gotten to brush it that morning.

He walks to his first class. Luckily he had stayed up an hour late to study the school map.

The kids are all in their seats already. Well there are some open spots but they were filling up quickly.

Jaime rushes to a seat at the front of the classroom. He realizes there is a pretty brown haired girl there and sits next to her.

She looks up "Oh hey! Are you new here? I haven't seen you here before." Her big bright green eyes are breath-taking. Jaime looks away slightly "Yes I'm new." He nods "I'm Jaime."

"Nice to meet you Jaime." She smiles "Oh where are my manners I'm-" a boy interrupts her by putting his hands on her shoulders.

She looks up "Asher!" She beams up at him.

Asher smiles at her but it looks forced. "Hey my beautiful."

She blushes "Ack Asher! I was just talking to Jaime here-"

Jaime looks up at Asher "H-hey." Asher has jet black hair and dark green eyes. He's wearing a football jersey so Jaime guesses he's a football player.

Asher glares at Jaime "That's my seat."

The girl looks at him "Asher that isn't 'your seat' it's the schools."

Asher rolled his eyes "But I want to sit next to my beautiful girlfriend."

Jaime stands up "I-I'll move.." he goes to the only empty seat which is in the back in between the football jocks.

The football guys were tossing a football around Jaime.

Jaime ducked his head trying not to get hit.

**Time skip**

Jaime walked into the library after school happily. He had always found peace and happiness in this quiet place.

He spotted the girl from earlier at a table reading. Jaime doesn't see Asher so he decides to go talk to her. He heads over and taps her shoulder.

She jumps and looks up. "Oh hey Jaime!" She says in her cute, almost Australian accent.

"Hey. I never caught your name?" He says quietly

"April!" She says brightly "I'm April lead cheerleader of Spring High."

"N-nice to meet you." Jaime whispers

"Sit sit." She said "What brings you to the library?" She asks

"It's a quiet place." Jaime says "What brings you here?"

"Homework." April says quickly covering the book she was reading with a history book.

He notices but decides to drop the subject. "Could you maybe show me around the school tomorrow?" He asks nervously

"Of course! The art room is my favorite I'll take you there first thing tomorrow!"

Asher suddenly pops up behind April and covers her eyes "Guess who?"

"Let me think.. Asher?"

Asher uncovers her eyes and sits next to her kissing her cheek.

April blushes.

Asher notices Jaime and glares.

Jaime shrinks in his chair slowly.

April doesn't seem to notice "I better get home!" She exclaimed standing up.

"S-same." Jaime says gathering his stuff and rushing out.
