The next day I was let free from the Healer and aloud to fly. My wing is still a little sore but I can fly. I clutch the journal to me chest and start looking for the library. If anyone knows something about strange books it has to be the librarian. I heard she has been here ever since the beginning of this school.

"Oof!" I almost fell to the ground if the thing I bumped into did not catch me.

"Oh my 4 moons, I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" I shook my head before starting to fly again so the creature did not have to hold me.

"I'm fine, should have been paying more attention to where I was going." I then look up at the creature that had caught me and my heart dropped. It was a smallish white and dark blue sea dragon. She was smiling at me showing off her sharp teeth.

"annnddd, Your a dragon." The dragon nodded vigorously and smiled again.

"I sure am. Are you lost? My name's Beay!" She held out her webbed claw for me to shake. I hesitated before shaking her claw.

"My name is Moonshine and I was looking for the library." I told her. She tapped her chin then her light sea blue eyes lit up and she grabbed my paw.

"Follow me! It's just past the lunch room and down the hallway that leads to the Dragons wing." I looked around as she showed me the way so I can remember how to get here without help. It was kind of strange meeting a dragon and it not trying to bite my head off. Well this Is a school with other creatures in it. I'm pretty sure they don't eat each other. Shivers went down my spine at the very thought of being eaten. We then stopped at a large wooden door with s big carving of a tree in it.

"Well this is the library! I better get going now. Hope you find whatever book you're looking for!" She then flew off. I looked back to the door and made sure the code on my necklace was facing it.

"Welcome Moonshine to the Library" I smiled as the door lit up then opened. I slowly walked in and closed it behind me, trying to be as quiet as possible. I look around and see no one else here, Well except for the librarian.

"Welcome Moonshine, I was expecting you to come." I stared
the at the librarian like she was crazy. She was a small creature with scaly skin and long fur going down her back and up her neck stopping at the top of her head. She had soft paws and a long tail with a tuft of fur at the end. Her golden yellow eyes flowed under her glasses. Her glasses were resting on a stick that was on her snout. She smiled warmly and motioned for me to come to her desk. I slowly walked to her desk and put the journal on top of it.

"How do you know my name? I have never met you." I have herd creatures say that she is over 100 years old. But she only looks like she is 20

"I can see the past, present, and future" he eyes shined with age and wisdom. I smiled and slid the journal closer to her.

"So you found the last one first. Just like she wanted you to." She started looking through the old book.

"How do you look so young?" She looked up from the journal.

"My Granddaughter Dune but an aging spell on me, so I can die but not from old age. Come here, your going to need this" I walked behind the desk and stood right next to her. She then started searching under the old desk.

"Where is it? Ah here it is!" She then pulled out an old locked case that had giant words written on the top that say DO NOT TOUCH, HIGHLY DANGEROUS. Is it really dangerous? I thought, well The Librarian took the key necklace she had on and unlocked the box. The inside was really dusty and I could barely see what was in it. She then I held and blew off the dust, I sneezed as dust flew everywhere.

"Forgot to ask... but what do I call you?" I asked well waving my paw, trying to clear the dust in the air. She turned around to face me now holding another journal.

"Please call me Coconut. And I will be here to answer any of you questions." I nodded and a question immediately popped in my head.

"How I'm a related to a dragon?" I asked. She looked at me and let out a small giggle. She then pointed for me to go back in front of the desk. I walked around at sat back down.

"No you are not. Riptide has made code with three of her really good friends. Cousin really means Close friend." Coconut placed the new journal on the table and flipped to the front page. Written on it in the same handwriting was,

Code Book, made by Seawater, Sunshine, Crescent, and Crossbow

Coconut then opened up the journal I found and stopped near the middle of it. I saw a small sketched out picture of four different creatures. One of them was a dragon, the other three never seen anything like them. Above their heads, there was a small little note that you could almost not read.

It then trailed off as if she did not want to write it down. I kept looking down at the drawing.

"What was she going to say?" I hoped Coconut knew the answer since she seemed to really know Riptide. She just let out a sigh and shook her head. I slouched in the chair and looked down at my paws.

"Sunny, Shimmer, and Bone were really good creatures when i knew them. Even though other species was unknown." She then turned around and looking like she was thinking. I just sat up and flipped to the second page of the Code journal.

"I got it!" Coconut arms waved in the air causing the lamp to fall off her desk. I quickly reached out and grabbed it before It hit the floor. I sighed and carefully put it back onto the desk.

"This is a Silent! I heard you were supposed to be Talk!" I covered my mouth with my paws after I said that.

"Did you just speak in code?" She asked looking at me with a surprised look on her face. I nodded and removed my paws from my mouth. How did I do that? I thought well looking back down at the book. I just shook my head and turned my gaze back to Coconut.

"What did you find out?"

"Well Riptide has an older brother named StormCloud. And a younger brother named Ash" I looked up from the book and cocked my head to the side.

"What does that have to do with the journals?" I flipped through the pages trying to see If her brother's are in it. Findings nothing about them I close the journal and put it back in my satchel, along with the code book Coconut had given me.

"Ash goes to this school. So if you ever bump into him, you could ask him about Riptide!" I nodded and started to head for the door.

"It was nice to meet you. But I should get going to my dorm."

"It was nice to meet you too." Coconut smiled sweetly as I walked out the door. This time I decided to walk until I got to my wing because my wing had started to ache. The cold hard ground felt normal on my paws since I live in a cave. I looked down and watched my paws, my mind getting lost in thought. I then bumped into something, or someone. I looked up and saw a blow wolf with white and pink wings and sparkling pink eyes. Her fur was a mess and she looked tired. I saw on her necklace that she was a teacher in my wing!

"Oh my stars! I'm so sorry!" I apologized well helping pick up all the papers and folders she had dropped.

"Oh it's ok, I should have been watching were I was going!" She also started to pick up the papers. She gave me a smile once I gave her the papers and folders back. That's when I noticed a small bag on her side widen by her wing.

"Sorry for me asking but what's that?" I pointed to the small bag under her wing.

"Oh! This is Icycl!" She lifted her wing up and reviled a small fluffy white creature I have never seen before fast asleep. It has a short muzzle long floppy ears and swirly place horns with purple stripes. It also has big fluffy black wings tabbed around his small body.

"Aw! Is he your child?"

"No, he's my friends kid. I'm taking care of him for a while." She explained well putting her wing back down.

"So where are you going?" She asked as she started walking down the hallway with me. I thought she noticed my wing and decided to walk with me.

"I was going to go to my dorm. But I thought I should go to my next class. and my next class is History." Her eyes lit up and she smiled again.

"I teach History! So your in my class. I'm Mrs. Strongwind! But call me Rose." I smiled back and we continued walking down the long tall hallway.

"Wait your married? Who's your husband?" I was kind of afraid to ask that question. Wondering if she is still with him. Her smile went away and she looked away for a moment.

"We went missing months before our daughter Nebto was born. Same with Icycl's dad. Cactus was devastated for a whole year." She let out a sigh and I did not say anything. For the rest of the walk we did not say anything for the whole time. Once we got to the door and into the wing Rose finally decided to say something.

"We are going to talk about it in history. What happened to me and my friends, Padly says it's important to learn." I nodded and followed her into the classroom. Students were already in there talking to each other. I spotted Seashell in the very front of the class. I plopped down into the seat next to her. She just took one glance at me then turned her attention back on Rose. Rose still had Icycle under her wing and was being careful, well she put all the papers and folders on her desk.

"Ok! Welcome to history! I'm Mis. Strongwind, but please call me Rose. We are starting with a history, that I'm in!" I turned around and saw everyone looking surprised. I smirked and turned back around.

"Has anyone heard about the 8 magic protectors?" I turned around and saw a black wolf with a really cool light blue pattern on her shoulder. She also has blue horns that faded to a bright pink. Her eyes were bright light blue that also faded to pink. She had her paw raised in the air and looked almost really worried and sad.

"Oh. This is Nebto she's my daughter. And of course you know who they are." Rose smiled sweetly at her daughter. Nebto smiled back and put her paw down.

"Ok! We will start with the youngest!" She clapped her paws and a picture of the same type of creature Icycl appeared on the screen. But this time it was a small light Strawberry blonde fur with orange horns and bright orange eyes. His wings were a bright white and orange and he had a brown satchel on that had an orange thunder both embedded on it. He also had a gold clasp on his wrist with the same thunderbolt symbol in it. Also it has a familiar looking pattern on it.

"This is Cinnamon, the smallest one out of the original 5. He is the fastest and most flexible. He had the power to control the weather." The picture changed to him fighting with a lightning storm happening in the background.

"Despite his Size and Personality he can be very fierce. During the end of the war he got married to Cookie, she also works here." She then pulled out a box and rummaged inside before pulling out the same clasp in perfect condition. Everyone gasped and looked at the clasp in Awe.

"This belonged to Cinnamon. It now belongs to Cookie so she can have something that was special to him, so she can remember him. Sadly he was the first to disappear." She sighed, then carefully out the clasp back in the box. The picture changed to a taller one. Same creature but with dark brown fur and dark blue horns and eyes. He also had a satchel but with a blue Crystal immbeded in it. He also had two silver arm bands on his wrist and a blue Crystal on a thick chain neckless. He was also much taller.

"This is Daze, he was the smartest and knows magic. He was able to control magic and new almost how to make every potion. He was very kind and loves to eat snow when he can get the chance. " Rose laughed a little and went back to the box. This time she pulled out the chain neckless.

"He was the second one to disappear. I think who ever took Cinnamon realized Daze might end up finding them with his magic." The dark blue Crystal shunned in the sun light, giving it a powerful glow. She then put it back into the box and switched the picture to a more scary looking one. He was a tall pure white fur with bright green horns and wings. His eyes, well eye were a dark teal color with flecks of green. He had so many scars you could lose track trying to count them. He also had a buckle around his back leg that held two long daggers.

"This is Snow one of the most dangerous ones. He was one of the best fighters you have ever seen and has been a guard for the king for a long time. He has healing powers and knows the most about injures and sickness. He also was able to teleport." This time she carefully pulled out one of the daggers from the box.

"These are one of the most sharpest weapons in this world.So don't even try to touch it!" She glared at Evergreen, and Evergreen just smiled evily back. What was that about? I just shrugged and looked back up at Rose. She carefully put it back in the box.

"He is married to Cactus. Sadly He disappeared before he met his son." She lifted her wing up, revealing Icycl to the class. Everyone Awed at the cute small white fluff ball. She then but her wing back down and switched the picture.

"Today we are only going to review 4 of them since we don't have that much time." She explained to the class. This one was a very tall dark brown almost black fur with a light blue pattern on his shoulder going across his back. He has light blue horns and sparkling ocean blue eyes. There was a huge scar going across one of his eyes, down his neck, and continued going down his stomach. I heard Nebto gasp and I turned around to see her looking shocked at the photo, silent tears falling down her cheeks.

"This is Fern, he did not know much magic but did not really need any. He was a very skilled fighter and also a former guard. He can control water and barely talks at all. He also hides his emotions and takes problems seriously. To me he is the most kindest caring one I met. He is also my husband and Nebto's Father." Everyone gasped and started to whisper things to each other. I just sat there waiting for them to be quiet so Rose can continue before she burst into tears! I looked at the picture frame on her desk

"Why did you marry an emotionless mute thing?" I turned around and growled at Evergreen.

"How would you like having YOUR dad or husband missing!" I yelled at her. Nebto looked over at me and mouthed thank you to me. I smiled and mouthed your welcome back. I then turned back around to see Rose looking devastated. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"Evergreen, Detention . . . Now." She pointed to the door. Evergreen growled then walked out the door. Rose took another deep breath then opened her eyes back up.

"Ok! Sorry about that." She walked back over to her desk and face planted onto the top of it. That was when the bell rang and it was Time for our next class. I waited for everyone to be gone then walked up to Rose, not realizing that Nebto was behind me.

"Sorry about her. She has the brain of a No one's shoe." Rose chuckled and lifted her head back up. Nebto was now standing next to me.

"So you know the code too?" She asked me.

"I just know the first page." I shifted my paws and looked over at the box.

"What did Fern leave for you?" I looked back at Rose.

"He left me his sword. The same one he used to win the champions to be a guard for the king." I turned around and looked over at Nebto. She had a plain emotionless expression on her face.

"You two should get to lunch. See you later Nebto." Rose gave a quick lick to the top of Nebto's head. Nebto nodded then started to walk to the door. I also nodded to Rose and quickly followed Nebto.

~At lunch~

"Thanks for sticking up to my dad." Nebto said as she took a seat next to me and Skully. I swallowed my food and put my hamburger back down.

"Your welcome. I know what it's like to not have a dad. At least you got to meet him." Nebto kindly smiled and took a bit of her sandwich. For some reason me and Sundrop have lunch at different times. I kind of understand, it is already really crowded. I jumped a little as someone slammed there try of food on my open side. I turned to my side and saw Evergreen.

"Thanks for getting me into detention cow butt." She rolled her eyes and smirked at me. Skully and Nebto gasped, cow butt was a really big insult.

"It's not my fault I'm going to a school with a pretty awesome creatures! And your going to it as well." I growled.

"Oh well this school is filled with creepy and disgusting creatures! Like you." She laughed, witch only got me more mad. We then had a full on argument with mostly us roasting each other, tot continued until finally Skully broke it up.

"Lady's! Lady's! Your both pretty! Can we just eat in silence if you can't say anything nice to each other!" I sighed and got up from the lunch table.

"I'm not hungry." With that I spread my wings and fly off. I Magee to find a really high perch where I could watch the lunch room without people seeing me. The wind brushed against my fur as I sat there.

"What do you want?" I asked, knowing it was Skully behind me. I did not glance at him as he sat down next to me and looked down at the many creatures eating.

"Nice view." I just nodded in response and turned my head away.

"Please, just ignore her. Evergreen can be mean but don't let her words get to you." He put his paw on my shoulder, I turned to face him and gave him a small smile. I then rested my chin on his shoulder.

"At least I have someone with me I can depend on." I whispered into his ear well closing my eyes for a moment. Too much stuff happened today and I just needed a really long nap. I hope Sundrop is having a less stressful day then I am. Well I know for one thing she hasn't found any weird journal or have anything weird happen to her.
