"Mom why do I have to go to this new school!?" I whine laying by Moms paws. Sundrop, my twin sister giggled a little.

"Because you are special." Mom licks me on the top of my head. I frown

at her and get up from the floor.

"Sissy, you look cute when you're mad! Come on it will be fun to meet other wolves like us!" She spread her soft white and fiery orange wings in the air.

"Fine. I will be happy." I pad over to the entrance of our small house. Sundrop

excitedly bouncing over to me.

"Ready?" I ask her. She nods and we both spread our wings and take off into

the blue sky.

"Have fun!" I hear Mom yell as we fly. The wind brushes my long soft blue fur

as we fly above the forest. I close my eyes and take in a calming breath of fresh morning air. I laughed as Sundrop did a somersault in the air.

"Are you excited? I'm excited!" Sundrop flys closer to me as she asks.

I'm a little excited. Just nervous at meeting other winged cats." I look down at

the many trees were passing below us. I felt Sundrop nudge me with her white paw.

"Come on! It will be better than at are old school. It took us forever to make one friend just because we're different! But now there's going to wolves just like us there!" Sundrop squeals and her bright blue eyes glimmer In the sunlight.

"I guess you're right." I turn my gaze back in front of me and I enjoy the

summer breeze. Once we got to the bus stop other wolves were already there. I land on the soft grass by my sister. The other two wolves turn toward us. A fiery red and orange wolf smiles at seeing us.

"Hello! are you two new?" The wolf asks us.

"Yeah! My name is Sundrop and this is my twin sister Moonshine!" Sundrop

pulls me closer to her with her paw around me.

"I'm Amber. And this is my Bff Seashell!" She nudges the blue wolf With her

Phoenix like wings. She glares at Amber and looks away.

"She's shy. Come on Seashell! Don't be stubborn!" Amber nudges her again.

Seashell sighs then turns to face us. She was lighter blue markings on her face and her eyes are sky blue that sparkle like moonlight on water. The rest of the tie we just sat there and wait to get picked up.

"Wait can't we just fly to school?" I ask well looking at the sky.

"Yes we could, but this is safer because of Noncreature trying to find us."

Amber explains frowning as her small stick tower she made falls down. I tilt my head, what are Noncretures? I wonder. my head swerves up to the sky as a hear a loud roar. An enormous sea serpent FLOATS down to us, laying flat on his stomach so we can fly on. Now filling with exit,ent i fly onto the sea surpets back. Sundrop sitting next to me.

"Welcome to the ride to school! I'm Sea and will be safely taking you to school! So keep everything close and hold on tight!" The sea serpent

announces. I hold on tight and squeal as I feel Sea fly up and into the sky. I left my head up once I no longer feel like falling off. A smile appears on my face as I feel the strung gust of wind hit my fur. I laugh and stick my tongue out, Sundrop doing the same. I stop and look in front and behind us and the other creatures riding his back. I saw Seashell and Amber in front of us having a conversation. I look behind me and see a creepy tall creature with pointy legs. It turned its head toward a me and its eyes are all black with a white dot for a pupil. It sent shivers down my spine. I instantly looked away, that creature gives me the creeps. The rest of the ride was amazing! The wind felt amazing on my fur, I felt free to do what ever I want! Sundrop plopped next to me laughing her fur a mess just like mine.

"That was amazing!" She screams. I giggle at her outburst and shake so my

fur lays flat. We then start walking up to the entrance to the school. Once we passed the gate my jaw drops as I saw the school. It is a really really tall building with windows balconies and different sized entrances on it. The front court yard was filled with many different creatures. Some I have never seen! Me and Sundrop spot a group of winged wolves sitting on a bench on the bridge talking.

"This place is amazing!" I look at the shining clear water under the bridge.

"I'm glad you like it!" I turn around and see a beautiful blue and purple dragon

with wolf paws and scales with some fur, and two tails. She had a neackless that had a badge showing that she is the princabule.

"Welcome to the school for mythical creatures! I'm Padly, and am your princabule! Your Moonshine and Sundrop right?"

"Yep!" Sundrop gives Padly a big smile.

"Great! Follow me so I can give you all the information you need!" She claps

her paws together and spreads her wings, taking off Into the sky. Doing the same we follow her to the school and went through one of the doors for creatures that fly. She opens a door and holds it open for us. I walk and at Take a seat an a fluffy pillow in front of a desk. Sundrop sitting on the one next to me.

"Ok let me get your files." Padly. Sits behind the desk and starts looking

through one of the draws. She then pulls out two files and places them on her desk.

"Here you go. All the information you need for you to get started!" She gave

us a blue satchel that had stuff in it. Then a necklaces that had are names on it and a code.

"Thanks you!" Sundrop looked at her necklace and at the code.

"What's the code for?" I look at the code confused.

"It lets you get into your dorm and other places. We have a magic spell but on this school years ago and you need to get a code matching you to be able to get into rooms." She explains, looking down at her claws before turning her

gaze back to us and smiling. I get up from my seat and walked over to the door, Sundrop following behind me well grabbing a piece of paper from her bag.

"Thank you Padly! Have a good day." I open the door and walk onto the

balcony. Spreading my wings I take off, now inside the school. Well we were flying around I noticed some of the doors on higher ground for creates that fly.

"It says here that there are different wings in the school. We are going to the

Wolf wing." Sundrop told me well pointing at one of the bigger doors. "Ok then." I fly down on the ground in front of the door. It is a wooden hand carved door with a wolf with wings carved in it. It also had a code on the bottom of it. Sundrop tried to open the door but it would not budge.

"Why will you not open!" She yells at the door. Maybe this is one of the

magical locked doors Padly told us about, I thought.

"Let me try." Sundrop Moses out of the way and I pad up so I'm right i from the

door. I go closer and make sure the code on my necklace can be seen.

"Moonshine. Welcome to the Wolf wing." The edges of the door light up and

the doors open. I grin at Sundrop who was gapping at the door.

"Were you paying attention about the code opening doors?" I ask well flying

in. Sundrop follows and looks at her paper again.

"It says we need to go to our first class. I have History first." I take out my

schedule and take a quick look

"I have Study of power first. Looks like we're splitting up." Sundrop gives me a

frown

"At least we will see each other later. Bye!" She waves goodbye then flies off

down the long hallway. Letting out a sigh I start looking for The Study of power class room. I finally found it on ground level just when the bell rang. I took a seat in the back of the class room next to a fluffy wolf with black and blood red fur. He had the markings of a skull on his thigh and has devil wings instead of the feathered. He turned his gaze toward me and I saw that he has bright blue eyes? That's random. I also notice that Amber is sitting next to me on my other side. She smiles at me and waves. A black wolf enters the room and closes the door behind her.

"Ok class I'm Darkmoon, I will be your Study of power teacher. Since it is the beginning of the school year we will start out by introducing ourselves and saying what our power is." Darkmoon took a seat behind a desk that is in the

front of the room. Her black eyes gaze over all the other wolfs lie, she is trying to spot something suspicious.

"I will go first, my name is Amber and I can control fire." She stands up says

her name then sat down again. This time I stand up and all eyes are on me.

"Hi I'm Moonshine and I control the night and darkness." I sit back down and

wait for the next wolf to go. The devil winged wolf stands up.

"Hello I'm Skully I can do magic and..." he pauses for a moment before

continuing

"And destroy things." Some wolfs giggle in front of us. He sits back down

looking at his paws. I look at him concern shown in my eyes. A green wolf stood up.

"Hello, my name is Evergreen and I can control plants!" She then gracefully

sits back down. I growl at her because I noticed she was one of the wolfs that giggled at Skully. She gives me a surprised look then stuck her tongue out at me.

"I can just tell she's going to be a brat." Skully leans over and whispers into

my ear. I giggle and smile at him.

"Yeah. And we are her wittle peasants." I put my white paws under my chin make an innocent look, blinking my eyes. Skully laughs out load, quickly reliving what he did he covers his mouth.

"It there something you want to tell class Skully and Moonshine?" Darkmoon

asks us. I quickly look over at Amber, she has her head on her desk trying to conceal her laughter.

"Um, well, he just told me a funny joke about... SANDWICHeS. Yeah sandwitches." I nervously smile. Darkmoon squints her eyes at us.

"Ok. Let's continue." She waves her paw at us. After the rest of the class told

us there name and power the bell rang.

"Ok I only expected us to get through telling our name and power. Tomorrow bring your notebooks!" Darkmoon dismisses us with a wave of her black wing.

I hear someone running after me as I walk out of the classroom, getting ready to fly.

"Wait! Moonshine was it?" Skully ran up to me also spreading his wings.

"Yes. What do you want?" I ask well taking off into the air, him following me.

"Well I thought that was pretty funny what you did back there. Also I have never had a friend." He looks nervously at the ground I think for a moment

before telling him my answer

"You can be my friend!"

"Really! Oh thank you, your so kind!" He gives me a hug in the air. I squeak

form the random hug. He pulls away and gives me a big grin.

"What's your next class?" I pull out my schedule and see that my next class is

Battle training. I look over at Skully who was putting his schedule back in his satchel. He then looks back at me with his shining blue eyes.

"I have Battle training next. How about you?" I put my schedule back into my

satchel and readjust my necklace. I noticed that one of my code letters looks like a moon. And one on Skully looks like a skull.

"I have Battle training next to! Come on I know where it Is!" He grabs my paw

and starts leading me toward a door on the ground. We land softly and go through the big door.

"This place is cool!" I look around the big room that has real grass on the

ground. It feels soft and cool under my paws, as we walk around.

"Sissy!" An orange and white blur tackles me to the ground. I look up and see

Sundrop blazing golden yellow eye.

"Hey Battle training has not started yet!" I laugh and Sundrop gets off of me. I

get up and see that Skully looks underly confused. I walk over to him and Sundrop tilts her head.

"This is Skully, he is my new friend!" Sundrops has drops and then she smiles

brightly at Skully. Oh no here comes crazy Sundrop.

"Eeee! You made a friend! I told you so! Hello, I'm Sundrop! Moonshine's twin sister!" Sundrop runs up to him and gives him a big hug. Skully awkwardly

hugs back.

"Your furs soft. Oo! And you got devil wings!" Sundrop starts petting his back.

"Um... thanks?" I giggle and cover my mouth with my paw.

"All right enough hugging we need to start class!" I turn around and see a

Light red wolf with black and yellow markings. And yellow eyes. He also has a scar going over his shoulders and by his black wings. The rest of the students are sitting down behind him.

"Sorry Sr." I walk over to the cluster of wolves and sit down next to a white

one I remember seeing at the bridge. Skully and Sundrop take a seat next to me.

"Food morning class I will be your Battle training teacher. My name is Spade and you better listen to me." Wow he seems to be a very serious wolf. Well

the problem has been in battles, most because of the scar on his shoulders.

"Today we are going to go outside and test our powers. Since none of you have used them yet. Follow me." He turns around then flies out the higher

ground door. Everyone starts to follow him. Once we get outside and are walking toward the training yard I her a slightly familiar voice.

"Hey Skully was it? Well let's just hope you practice your powers in a junkyard. Or a place where no one else is around." Evergreen laughs and

looks like she's about to scratch him. I run in front of Skully and end up getting some of my feathers from my wings ripped off.

"Ow!" I land on the grass and feel a sharp sting on my wing we're the feathers

were ripped off.

"Are you ok? You BUTT!" I hear Sundrop yell at Evergreen.

"What is going on here?" Spade comes running over to us and Evergreen

starts acting innocent.

"Oh Spade Skully was trying to use his power on me and I was trying to

defend myself so I accidentally ripped some of Moonshines feathers off!" She gave him big innocent looking eyes, Sundrop and Skully growl at her. Spade looks at Evergreen then at Sundrop, Skully, and me while I was getting up from the ground.

"She was being mean to Skully and was about to scratch him when I jumped in front to protect him. Resulting with me getting some of my feathers pulled off." I explain well flexing my wings.

"Moonshine speaks the truth." A mystic sounding voice said. The group of

wolves parts and let's a Purple wolf with white and golden markings. Her white eyes glow with wisdom. She also had more satchels and stuff on her. Like feathers on her ears and rapped on her tail. I read on her necklace that her name is Feather.

"Thank you Feather. I will believe a magic wolf that can read minds then some petty princess." He spit petty princess like it was a disease. He then nods to

feather and walks up to me.

"Go to the healers and get that wing checked out. Feather can you go with her?" Feather nods then opens her wings and majesty flies into the air.

"See you two latter." I wave goodbye and feel strange as Magic lifts me into the air and following Feather.

"Wow. Mind me asking but why did you help me?" I tell her well

she brings me into the school and onto the ground. I felt the magic disappear from me and she turns around to face me. Her white eyes gaze inchating.

"Because I see good things in your future Moonshine." She

dips her head like she is bowing. I stare at her in disbelief.

"What did you see?" Feather just turns around and starts

walking down the hallway, not answering my question. Of course never tell someone their future bad this can happen. I let out a sigh and follow Feather down the hallway. She stands infront of a door with the carving of the sun on it and the edges light up like it did with the wolf wing door. "Feather, welcome to the Healers room." There is a dragon like creature with curled horns and fluffy fur on the top of there head and going down her neck sitting at the front desk. Her necklace has the name Ucala on it. She turns her golden light yellow eyes onto us and smiles sweetly.

"Good morning Feather and Moonshine How can I help you?"

She asks. I was going to ask her how she new are names then I remember we also have necklace with are names on them.

"Morning Ucala. Moonshine got some of her feathers ripped out." Feather explains. Ucala nods and leads us down a hallway. She then stops at the last

door and unlocks it behind her with her necklace. She held the door open and let me come in.

"Sit down on that nest please, I will be right back." She motions at the nest by

the big window. I sit down on the comfy nest and watch as Ucala and Feather leave. I look around the room and notice something off about the chair near the nest I was sitting in. I slowly get out of the nest and pad up to the chair examining it closely. I was right! I can see a crack in its seat and something shining in it. Being very quiet I rip off the top and find an old dusty journal. It has a buckle closing it shut and on the front it said Follow Your Dreams. I graze my paw over it then undo the buckle and open it. The pages are old and have rips and holes in it. Some of the pages were a little wrinkly. The first page has the words Book 10 owner Riptide written in fancy letters. I quickly close the book and shove it under the nest once I Here the door unlocking. I sit back in my nest and watch as Ucala comes in with a small white bag. She closes the door and sets down the bag.

"Where does it hurt?" She asks me well grabbing badges and some sort of

bottle out of the bag. I stray him put my left wing and show her where the feathers were ripped off. She then gentle puts on some of the stuff from the bottle and starts rubbing it on. I wince as a felt a sharp pain as she rubs the stuff on. She then raps it in bandages and tells me to lay down.

"Ok you will be staying here until dorm time. So I will check on you then." Ucala then puts her stuff away and grabs the bag with her tail, leaving me

alone in the room. I smile and take the book out again. I turn to the next page and continue reading. Most of the pages were filled with strange drawings and notes. When I got to the end I found a page full of words instead of what filled the rest of it.

I start to read it

To whomever is reading this, my name is Riptide and if you are reading this

the school is in you talons, paws, claws. This school is a lot dangerous than meets the eye. There are trap doors and secret passageways that lead somewhere. I am not a normal Dragon like the others. I have magic and can see the future. I was supposed to be able to control water... but it never happened. I know this book is really suppose to my cousin who is going to be born ten years from now.

I stop reading a think about what the book said. I was born ten years ago. This book is 20 years old.

So Moonshine I know you are reading this right now. I have 9 other books. I

wrote this message in the tenth book because I knew you would find this one first. So the first thing you need to know. I am being hunted by creatures that hate my family so I might not be alive by the time you get this. But please save these things that are happening in my time to happen in yours. The first book I hid in the dorm you are in the know. It should be in one of the cabinets. The second is hidden outside by the lake. The third is in the lunchroom. The others are in the library. I trust the librarian to keep them safe.

I stop reading and stare out the window. Am related to a dragon!
