At Uglification the next day, the talk was all about the missing beast. "Yes the beast has gone missing, no you can't break the rules," Professor Manley told us. Maleficent kept looking at me. "Alright class," said Professor Manley, "let's move on. Let me see your true forms." We all started to change. "Okay, show me your scariest and ugliest faces!" Professor Manley told us. Suddenly, everyone was acting scary. The boy in front of me turned around. He roared. I smirked, then I howled. The whole class looked at me. They were scared. Even Professor Manley.

The rest of the day breezed by. Until lunch. I sat with Maleficent, Ember, and Drake. We were in the cafeteria though. "I can't believe yesterday," Ember said. "Yeah, me neither," added Drake. "I just can't believe my sister," I said. "Or my brother," said Drake. "He's my brother too," added Maleficent. I started eating the spiders. "I don't like spiders," Ember said. He burned them with fire. "Unless they're burnt!" he added. We all laughed.

Soon, it was forest groups. "Since we had a few people missing yesterday, we will be doing that test again. The Nevers groaned and the Evers cheered. All the girls went in coffins. "Go!" yelled Yuba. I knew who was next to me-Maleficent and Sammy. Kyle went right up to her. Should of known. Drake and Ember wondered around us. Drake came to mine and Ember went to Maleficent again. They kissed our hands. Drake turned bright red when he saw me. Ember turned red too.

After school, we all sat together at dinner. It was a combined dinner. I could barely hold myself together. I didn't know want was wrong. I just wanted to rip them apart. Maybe I am evil. Maleficent and Drake didn't like it either. "I just want to ho over there and force them apart," Drake said. "Contain it," said Ember. "It's hard," I said. "Is it harder for me or for you?" Drake asked. "Hard to say," I responded. Ember chuckled. "It's probably really hard for both of you," Ember said. "He's probably right," Maleficent added. It started to drizzle. "Let's go inside," Ember said. We all got up and went to our rooms.

I sat on the balcony. Maleficent came out. "I don't care about the rain," said Maleficent. "Me neither," I said. "Sarah, have you ever thought about how the Trial by Tale or Circus of Talents will go?" asked Maleficent. "No," I responded. "Well I feel like this year Nevers will win and break Ever's winning streak," Maleficent told me. "I think your right," I said. Maleficent got up. "I'll be right back," she said. She went inside and then came back out. She was holding a green orb. "You can see anything through this orb except the future," she said. "Can it see my sister?" I asked. As if on cue, the green orb showed a picture of Sammy and Kyle. They were sitting under a tree together. "Don't worry. You'll have a happy ending too," Maleficent said.
