From which Ally confuses Tedros then confuses Tedros again.
Ally: Just say the disclaimer already.
Me: Oh fine... I don't own SGE, Soman Chainani does, I only own my OC's, such as you Ally.
Ally: ...You didn't say the whole-
Me: FINE FINE FINE! I DON'T OWN ANYTHING MENTIONED IN THIS CHAPTER! This includes the Pokemon franchise and Harry Potter.
Ally: Thank you! Now, get on with the story, author person.
Me: I suppose you leave me no other choices... so here's the next chapter I guess.

Chapter 11:
Later that day...
Unless you wanted him to make a spectacle of his sword-fighting abilities, Sword class probably wasn't necessary for Tedros, since he has already been taught by some of the most talented swordsmen. Also, he didn't really want to embarrass any boys, he sort of already did that already at the assembly. But, it was on his schedule, and Tedros wasn't complaining.
***LINE BREAK OF AWESOMENESS***
Tedros had been the first to wake up, as he usually woke up early due to the schedule at Camelot. After getting into his uniform, saying a mumbled good morning to Tristan, whose curly red hair was all frizzy from sleep, he stood by Chaddick, who was still out cold. Tedros considered him for a moment. Most people could say when he was awake, that Chaddick was burly and intimidating, with his large chest and slate-grey eyes. But in his sleep, Chaddick looked completely harmless, or well, at least not very intimidating, with a slight drool coming from his mouth.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Nicholas whispered to Tedros after getting out of his bed, stretching and yawning. Tedros frowned.
"I don't know, Chaddick's already plotting revenge against me for what I did at the assembly." Nicholas smiled softly.
"Ah, don't worry. You guys are like best friends! I'm sure you'll have no hard feelings after he's gotten this so-called "revenge"." Tedros shrugged.
"Okay then, do you think the water from the boys' bathroom is cold enough?"
***Another line break!***
Chaddick arrived at breakfast glowering, his face bright red. Water still glistened in his hair, some droplets slowly dripping down from his hair and on to his face.
As soon as he slammed his tray down at the table where Tedros, Tristan, and Nicholas sat, everyone else burst out laughing.
"Oh.. you... You should've seen your face!" Nicholas said between laughs. As soon as the boys stopped laughing, Chaddick raised his eyes to meet Tedros. Tedros stared back, as they both slowly bit out of their toast which was covered with avocado and scrambled eggs. Nicholas and Tristan fell quiet, their heads whipping back and forth between the two friends, noticing the ever-growing tension.
Suddenly, Chaddick broke off his gaze, leaned back and smirked.
"You are so gonna regret that Tedros of Camelot," he said, smiling evilly.
Oh, I am so dead.
But, Tedros hid his fear, and retorted with, "I'd like to see you try!" Chaddick smiled evilly but continued then to eat his breakfast.
"So," Tristan said. "What is your first class? Nicholas and I are all in the same classes, probably comes with being roommates and all."
Tedros thought for a moment, then recoiled the image of his schedule. Although, he couldn't remember any of the professors.
*INSIDE OF TEDROS' MEMORY*
Sword Class
Etiquette
Leadership and Communication
History of Heroism
Lunch
Good Deeds
Surviving Fairy Tales
(Forest Group #3)
*BACK TO THE "REAL WORLD"*
"Well, I have Sword Class first!" Tedros said. Chaddick tapped his chin thoughtfully.
"I'm pretty sure I have that first too," Chaddick said. Tristan grinned, bobbing up and down in excitement making his curly red hair bounce.
"So we're all in Sword Class first I guess?" Tristan asked. Tedros grinned.
"Seems like it!" He replied. "Though, don't really know why I need to learn how to use a sword. Lance and Da- I mean I've already learned a lot from people at Camelot. Of course, if it was an elective sure, but..."
"Well," Nicholas began. "I heard the professor teaching it is one of the best swordsman ever! I'm sure you'll learn a couple of new tricks!"
"And, I'm sure you would be a great role model too!" Tristan added but then blushed when Tedros gave him an incredulous look. Without really thinking about what Tristan said, Tedros blurted a bunch of questions out.
"Me? A role model? Why would I be a good role model? Why would I be a role model at all?"
"Oh come on T.D!" Chaddick said while rolling his eyes. "Haven't you learned by now, I'm sure almost all the princes here will end up looking up to you! Your Tedros of Camelot for Jack's sake!"
A/N See what I did there? Instead of Pete's sake, I put Jack instead, cause you know, Jack and the beanstalk? No? Never mind, I'll leave...
You're going to be king of Camelot one day, all the other kingdoms, Ever and Never, will be looking up to you for guidance and stuff! 75% of the boys here will end up kings or rulers of something! Even I would have to if my older brother wasn't going to become king!"
Tedros took the last bite of his toast, finishing it. He didn't really know what to say. He looked around and met a few gazes of some other boys. They all turned around and seemed to excitedly whisper to each other, glancing Tedros' way every so often.
"Wow, maybe your right," Tedros whispered. Chaddick smirked.
"Of course I'm right! As I said before, you will be king of Camelot in a few years so-"
Suddenly, the arriving of a certain girl spawned chaos.
Pop!
WARNING! WARNING! IF YOU HAVE NOT READ QUEST FOR GLORY AND CRYSTAL OF TIME, SKIP THIS PART!
"Well, not if he has two secret older brothers who are actually evil and are twins! And then they take over the throne, and all this other stuff happens, one of the twins ends up dying, and he's actually not the psychotic evil one, saner I suppose. He's was actually a pretty decent leader. And-"
YOU CAN KEEP READING NOW!
"Ally!?" Tedros exclaimed. "What are you doing in here?"
"And why aren't you in uniform?" Tristan asked while pointing at Ally's choice of clothing. Like asking that was truly what everyone really needed to know at this point!
"H-how d-did you...? How did you use magic?" A shocked Nicholas said.
"No offence, but aren't all the girls sitting over there?" Chaddick asked, looking over at the other side of the cafeteria, where only a few girls were there (some of them were still getting ready, you know how some princesses are).
Of course, they turned back around right after and didn't notice the girl dressed in a navy blue uniform sneak into the large room and grab a plate full of food and run back up to her dorm.
Ally waved them off. "Questions, questions, be patient! You'll know soon enough." Ally turned to Tedros. "But, I guess I'll partially answer yours." She said. Then, she turned and glared at Chaddick. "And yours I suppose."
Ally then sat down at the table next to Tedros, receiving curious glances from other students, or, at least curious from the boys and glares from some of the girls.
"First of all Chaddick," she said. "I can sit where ever I want, whenever I want. Got it?"
Chaddick gulped. "Got it."
"Great!" Ally smiled. "But, I'm sure the girls won't sit over here, I probably won't be sitting over here that much either. It's just like lunch with Good and Evil. There's like this imaginary line that one group stays on one side, and the other side stays on the other. Just watch out for some of the girls giving you those heart eyes. They might make an attempt to sit with you." Ally crinkled her nose in disgust.
Tedros thought back to the assembly when he was looking at a blonde girl who didn't look like she belonged in Good. He remembered that another girl came over with a bunch of roses and sat down next to him, and practically sat on his lap because of how close she was leaning over while talking to him.
"Cough cough, Beatrix cough cough."
"What was that?" Ally asked with a knowing smirk.
"Nothing," Tedros said quickly.
No way she heard me.
"What's wrong with girls sitting with us who have crushes on us? And couldn't you qualify as one of those girls?" Chaddick asked, with a smirk.
Ally sent an even stronger glare to Chaddick. "First of all, I am 12-years old, and I do not have crushes on you guys. I already ship you with someone else. You also don't understand the millions and millions of people who once thought of ships to be things that transport stuff and float on water."
"What the heck are you talking about?" asked Tristan.
"Tristan this is very important; If a Japanese girl says hi to you in two weeks, say hi back and ask her how her days been. Trust me." Ally said seriously, not answering Tristan's question at all.
Tristan leaned back on the bench of the table. "Say hi? To who?" He wondered out loud and started glancing over where the girls sat.
"Anyway, I'm gonna answer your question Tedros."
"But.. what? I don't-" Tristan sputtered out, turning his head back to Ally. Nicholas shook his head at Tristan, silently telling him to give up and go with it.
"I came because I'm your friend! Duh silly." Tedros stared at her.
"I met you yesterday. No offence, but I'm not sure that makes us 'friends'. Your practically a stranger, I know nothing about you."
"Well, do you mind being friends?" Ally said.
"No... But-"
"Well, then it's settled!" Ally announced. "I am friends with Tedros of Camelot!" Suddenly, a grin spread across her face.
"Why are you smiling sadistically?" Tristan asked, a little worried about Ally's mental health.
Ally turned her gaze to Tristan, looking very serious. "You don't know how long I've wanted to say that." Chaddick turned to Tedros.
"I think you have a major fan." He whispered so quietly that you would have to have superhuman ears to hear what he said if you weren't Tedros.
Ally swivelled her head so fast in Chaddick's direction that Tristan flinched.
Guess she has superhuman ears.
"As a matter of fact mister Chaddick of Foxwood," Ally chirped. "If Tedros was in a book, he would not be my favourite character nor would he be the main character. No offence Tedros." She said sincerely to Tedros.
"Why wouldn't I be your favourite character!?" Tedros exclaimed. Although he was confused on to why Ally would predict it, he didn't really mind that much about being the main character. For most of his life, most people said that if he was in a story, he would be the star of it. He didn't really mind though if he wasn't the "star". Actually, that would be great considering...
Tedros burst out of his thoughts as Ally answered.
"You're just so..." Ally made a circular motion at Tedros. "How do I say this... You're such a relatable character... But you can be so frustrating sometimes I suppose."
Tedros looked perplexed. He had half expected her to say something like, 'Oh, you're just so stuck up', 'you flaunt your assets too much', 'your such a show-off', or other things Tedros often associated with himself. Tedros new he came off like that. He knew that he did that cause he was used to the attention, but... Deep down, he was just scared. Underneath that self-assured, bold prince, he knew that he was just a boy. Not the heartthrob, son of King Arther. Just a boy who's mother ran off with someone else. A boy whose father left him.
"What do you mean by frustrating?" Nicholas asked, snapping Tedros out of his gloomy thoughts.
"Well... Not frustrating in a sense of, 'Oh your not listening to me!' Kind of way. It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll give you an example. So your reading this book and the character does something stupid, or something that only the reader knows they shouldn't do. Another one is if a character assumes and/or says something that totally hurts a very important relationship with another character, but the other character doesn't actually think what the character says they think about them. It's also so frustrating when that said character storms off, or something interrupts the other character from explaining themselves."
There was a silence as the boys absorbed this new information.
"So Tedros is in a book?" Tristan asked.
"How did you gather that from her explanation!?" Chaddick asked Tristan. "She was using books as an example! Which I totally get by the way." Chaddick said, turning to Ally, then back to Tristan, arguing on what she really said.
A/N When I first read the 1st book, I didn't really look at the description of Chaddick that much. I always thought that he was like the jock that liked to read and was smart, battle strategy guy. Not so much the intimating, kinda mean to Agatha guy. I'll try to put that side of him in, how Soman would write him as, but I wish that Chaddick was kinda like that way. Maybe he is. I guess will just never find out... cause you know Ever boys weren't really important characters to the story...and...Quest for Glory, anyone? :(
"Where do you think the school gets avocados?" Ally suddenly asked. Tedros and Nicholas gave her a strange look. "I mean, where do they import it from? Is it grown domestically? DO AVACODOES EVEN GROW IN THESE AREAS?" Tedros put his hands in the air in defeat.
"I don't know! Don't kill me! I don't question the markets in Camelot!" Ally sighed.
"Sorry. At my other school, we were learning about imports and exports. I knew you wouldn't know. You should know though. You guys are so oblivious."
"To the food?" Nicholas asked, confuzzled (It's a real word. Grammarly agrees.)
Ally shook her head. "No, to everything." To say that Tedros felt very very confused was an underestimate. Nothing could really describe his confusion. He came to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, now look what happened.
Then, Ally randomly left.
Tedros and Nicholas watched as she walked over to where the food was.
"Strange apparently new friend you got there," Nicholas said. Tedros stared at the back of Ally's head, cocking his own head thoughtfully.
"Not really strange," Tedros said. "She seems more like an"all-knowing" person who refrains from telling us anything." They watched as Ally got some juice. "Then again, I guess strange could be used to describe her."
A sudden reappearance of Ally occurred.
"You know Tedros, being odd is just apart of being awesome," she said very cheerfully. Nicholas yelped.
"AHHH! Where'd you? How? WHAT?" Tedros raised an eyebrow and gave Ally an amused look. "I thought your teleportation made a popping sound?" Nicholas cried out.
Ally smiled slyly.
"Who said I used teleportation?" Ally then teleported away, leaving a very two very taken aback boys, and the other two off arguing about something way off the original topic. In fact, a certain bald fairy reported to other fairies that they were talking about how likely it would be that a frog was actually a prince.
*** You cannot stop the line breaks, we will take over the world.***
They were walking back to there dorm room, and Chaddick and Tristan were still going at it. At this point, the son of King Arther didn't even know what they were talking about. Somehow, a very sweet 13-year-old small boy named Hero joined the argument.
"Just listen to yourself!" Tedros heard Hero saying. "A GX can be mega evolved in the card game? That just sounds ridiculous! It's impossible!"
"It soo is possible!"
"You-Ugh-grrr! You just can't! That doesn't even make any sense! Even if they did actually did it, the cards would be way too OP. They would have to put like 5 or 6 energies per move!"
"Ya well, you keep saying that Pikachu is OP!" Chaddick protested.
"I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT THE FRICKEN CARD GAME! I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE T.V SHOW!"
"WE DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT T.V IS!!!" Chaddick and Tritan practically screamed in unison.
"Would you three be quiet!" Tedros growled. Immediately, the three boys fell quiet. "What are you even talking about."
Hero opened his mouth, but Chaddick put up a hand to stop him.
"Don't waste your time." He said. "He wouldn't understand." Hero closed his mouth.
"Well see you later!"
"Bye."
They reached their dorm, everyone slipped inside, but Tedros stopped when he heard a voice.
"Hey, Tedros." hissed a voice.
"Where are you? And who are you?" Tedros asked, his head swivelling around.
"Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot I was invisible. Oh wait, that's a horrible excuse. Truthfully I just wanted to see your reaction." Suddenly, Ally appeared right in front of him! She was holding some sort of large shimmering cloak.
"What's that?"
"Oh, it's nothing really. While you were walking I took decided to take a short visit somewhere and met some people. You don't need to worry about it."
"Okay then..." Tedros said. At that moment, Tedros decided to not question what Ally was saying and to just go along with it. It seemed to him he got more confused the more Ally talked. "Sooo... You needed something?"
"Yeah... You know how I said you'd never be my favourite character?"
"Yes. It was very hurtful."
"But I was trying so hard to not make you feel that way!" Ally retorted sarcastically. "But just so you know, even though you're never going to be in my top 5 personal favourite characters, you'll always be among my favourites."
"Thanks, I guess?" Tedros was so confused.
"I mean, at first you were so stuck up, show-offy and stuff. But, later on, I really liked your character! You showed depth and stuff."
"Ally, I really have no idea what you're talking about." Suddenly, the sun burst away from the clouds, causing light to stream into the hallway and hit Ally. Her brown eyes seemed to sparkle in the light.
"I'm saying that there are people out there that like you for you! And you are going to find someone one day that loves you for that. Trust me. I already know." Tedros didn't know what to say. It was like Ally had read his mind. How did she know so much about him?!
"I don't really know Ally... I just... I don't see how..." Tedros said, unsure. Ally clasped his shoulder.
"Listen Tedros, don't worry about anything I say okay? You don't even have to listen to me. I know I make no sense at the moment." She said kindly. "Anyway, see you at Sword Class!" Tedros was so bewildrered by that statement, that he barely managed to reply.
"Isn't Sword Class only for...?" But he trailed off as he saw that Ally was gone.
Tedros walked back to his dorm and sat on his bed.
"You okay T.D.?" Chaddick asked, concerned of his defeated looking face. Tedros shrugged.
"I've felt worse."
"Okay then."
Tedros sat there for about 5 minutes, all the while thinking:
I'm the son of King Arther, I've been through many things, seen many strange things, heard many strange things. But I've never felt this confused in my life!
Tedros got up and looked out the window of his dorm, glimpsing the world outside.
Perhaps this school will be more interesting then I expected. He thought.
He stared out the window for some time but stopped when he heard the wolves howling.
"C' mon Tedros, I know we got like 10 minutes to get there, but we don't have all day to figure out where the class is! Let's go!" Chaddick shouted from the door.
"Coming in a sec! I just need to get something." Tedros put on his sheath and slid Excalibur into it, the end of its hilt a lion's head.
Tedros' desk was right beside his bed. He slid open one of the drawers and took the framed photo of him on Lancelot's shoulders, and his mother laughing. He stared at it sadly. If only he could talk to his mother. He didn't say it, but he missed her as much as he hated her for leaving. He looked at the background of the photo, seeing the shadowed figure of his father staring at them in the background.
He touched where he thought that his father's face was. He closed his eyes and thought back to what Ally said.
"I'm saying that there are people out there that like you for you! And you are going to find someone one day that loves you for that. Trust me. I already know."
When he opened them, his blue eyes were blazing with emotion. A fire never to be set out.
"Don't make the same mistake I made. Find the girl who is truly good." A familiar voice whispered in his memory.
"I'll make you proud dad. I swear." Tedros promised quietly. With that, he turned around and walked out of the dorm. He didn't really know where he was going, literally and figuratively, but he would find some way to do it. He would find a way out of this school. And when he did, he would become king. He would find the girl who was truly good. And there was only one way to do that.
Like they said, "The only way out is through a fairy tale," right?
Author's Note:
HEYYY MY WONDERFUL READERS! How have you guys been? Sorry, I took a little while to update (Wattpad just has too many good books keeping me occupied). I'll try to update a teensy bit faster next time. WHAT IS THIS??? 2520 reads? YOU GUYS ARE THE-*faints on the spot because of Shocked Over-Load Syndrome (SOLS) (made that up).
But seriously. You guys are amazing.
So what did you think of this chapter? I think it's a little strange. Okay, very strange. But I just wanted to provide more insight on Ally Parkinson's character. Do you guys know who she is? (It's kinda obvious) Why do you think she's there? Probably just for comic relief.
This chapter was going to include the actual Sword Class (I couldn't get a better name) but I wanted to update soon, so I ended up doing this. Next chapter's probably going to be a little bit of Agatha and more of Sophie's classes up till Lunch. Then I'll do the Sword Class stuff. You know how HARD IT IS to make up Tedros' schedule!? IDK what princes at the School for Good are supposed to learn! How to show off? How to look handsome? IDK!
Will this story be basically the same plot as the first book?
o-o maybe...
will it have a sequel?
O-O maybe...
Should I stop typing and publish this chapter?
maybe...maybe not...;)
So, I'll try to update the next chapter. Thanks for reading and/or commenting and/or voting! it is greatly appreciated.
Update soon!
You gotta catch 'em all,
-N.C.
PS: Pikachu is OP.
3826 words.
