I placed my wet backpack on the floor, wanting to get my homework out. But as soon as my hand touched the wet binder from Calculus, I cringed. I slowly took it out of the bag. I opened it up, and just my fuhking luck, the homework was wet.

Shit.

Mr. Harris is going to KILL me. He legit said, no late work, how am I going to tell him about this? "Oh hey Mr. Harris, I don't have my homework because it got soaked on the way home."  Like he would believe me.

I groaned in utter frustration. I hate those fuhking jocks, and their rude asses. I already made fun of myself once in calculus for being late, I'm practically going to diiieee.

Well, might as well prepare my funeral.

And by that I mean make myself fat from junk food. I looked at my soaking wet figure, and decided maybe that wasn't the best option at the moment. Second to drying my clothes. I grabbed an old top and some sweatpants and changed. I took my wet clothes to the washer for me to do the next time I do my laundry.

I went back to my room and was going to at least attempt to do what homework I could. Only a few questions were eligible and I took out an extra piece of lined paper from one of my drawers and attempted to do it. But me being me, didn't know how to do it. Yay me...

I woke up, confused and slightly dazed. I looked at my alarm clock. 7:50 am.

SHIT!!!

School starts in ten minutes. My dad was already off at work by now, my homework wasn't done, and I'm gonna be late. I jumped up, putting a sweatshirt on and throwing a hair brush in my backpack. I grabbed my glasses, knowing I wouldn't be able to put in my contacts. I grabbed my phone and back pack, threw on some shoes and left. I was still wearing the clothes from yesterday that I changed into after school.

I had stayed up all night trying to do my homework. Of course, only a few were slightly worked out. God I fuhking hate my life.

I ran as fast as I could across town, trying my hardest not to get in the way of an obstacle. I ran until my breath wasn't reaching me and I collapsed on my knees. I cried out from the pain that coursed through me. I took deep breaths, trying to regain my breath. With a reluctant movement, I looked up. And there in front of me was the school.

HAL A FUHKIN LUJAH

I carefully stood back up and opened the doors to the main wing, the office area. I went in and signed a tardy pass.

I checked my schedule and saw that I had two classes today with Mr. Harris. A clock hung on the wall, reading 8:23. It was already half past my first class. With him. FUUUUUHHHK

I quickly walked to the class. Once there, I opened the door, knowing I'd be dead soon. All eyes landed on me. Again. Mr. Harris looked at me, seemingly amused.

"Well, well. I see you finally decided to show up Miss Blake." He said.

"I'm sorry I'm late, I overslept, and I-"

"See me after class Miss Blake, now sit down."

"B-but-" I tried to explain.

He glared at me.
"Sit. Down."

I immediately went to my seat. Mr. Harris went to the board. He started writing down equations that made no sense to me, but appeared to be clear for everyone else. Whoever decided to put me in this class can go fuhk themselves.

I found myself falling asleep, as the homework kept me up till 4 in the morning. The next thing I knew, a ruler landed on my desk. I sat up, wide eyed and scared. Mr. Harris was stood in front of me. Angrily standing, his arms were crossed.

"W-what?" I looked around, noticing everyone was gone.

"Why were you late?" He asked, still seeming pissed off.

"I had stayed up all night trying to do my homework. I'm sorry sir," I admitted. He sighed.

"Did you at least get it done?" He asked. It was my turn to sigh. I grabbed my binder out of my bag, and lifted it up reluctantly. I sat it on my desk and pushed it towards him. I bit my lip as he opened it, a look of surprise feigning his features. It quickly turned to anger.

"Why is it blurred up and not finished?" He questioned.

"I was walking home in the rain and a bunch of idiots sped through a puddle and I got soaked, as did my bag. I tried to do what I could of the work but I don't understand it, at all." I admitted sadly.

I thought he was going to yell, but instead he looked at me and sighed.
"Look, I know a guy who can tutor you, but from now on, try not to be late. I'll write you a pass for next period. Who is it?" He asked.

Surprised, I answered telling him I had Spanish next. He quickly wrote out a pass for me and as I got my stuff to leave, he said,

"Oh, and one more thing Skylar," I turned to him, "don't fall asleep in the next class I have with you." I half smiled.

"I'll try Mr.Harris," I replied. And I was off to Spanish class.
