"I am a Crystal Gazer"

Roshni's pov

Who would have thought that a simple girl like me will have such mysterious life!
But it was my Destiny!
And honestly, things have been Great!
I have not only found my Life partner here, but also a complete family.

But being Associated with Mystery and Mythology, my life keeps giving me new surprises.
Just like the one, I have received recently!

But right now, I was Floating in darkness again!
I was feeling dead tired.....none of my senses seemed to work...i felt like completely paralysed.
And then I heard someone familiar calling my name but the voice was too distant. I focused on the voice and I heard -
Roshni, now is not the time to go for deep sleep!
Difficult times are Head and Your people need you!
You have to break the Spell and Wake up!

And then I remembered....the engagement....the Ring....the chandelier....the blood.......Adhikshit!
my eyes instantly fluttered open but I groaned as I could not adjust to my surrounding immediately as I felt groggy and disoriented for several minutes.
And then i saw Lakshmi aunty and Grand ma sitting in front of me, who looked sick worried.

I felt tired like I had moved mountains but I managed to ask - What Happened to Me?
Why do I feel so tired and Groggy??

Roshni! Take deep breaths!
Please don't stress, you were in deep slumber, precisely The most prominent form of sleeping.
The doctor said your were under a spell of slow-wave sleep.
And It is most difficult to wake people from such slow-wave sleep; hence we could not manage to wake you up.

Since when I have been sleeping??? - I asked confused

It's been around 20houre my child! - grandma spoke softly

20 hours???
But I can never sleep for so long!
Wait....where is Adhikshit??
He is Safe, right? - I asked

Lakshmi aunty smiled and said - Yes, He is Fina Roshni, all because of you!
And I have already sent him a wave through our Bond.
He is on his way!

I was about to say something but then I was Interrupted by the sound of footsteps.

Walked in Uncle Vijay and along with him walked two more people who looked quite old but intellectuals.

Roshni, finally You are up!
You got us all worried.
How do you Feel? - uncle asked

I... I am good, thank you! - I replied

Child, we want to confirm a few things about your recent behaviour....and it's important....otherwise I would not have bothered you like this.
Do you remember what happened?
What is the last thing that you remember? - asked uncle Vijay looking at me

I jerked my head up to look at him and then I nodded. I began -

I remember Everything Uncle.!
I remember we were at the engagement party.
And then the Chandelier!

Vijay nodded and then spoke - Roshni, I want you to meet our Raj Purohit ji (royal priest) and his son who is an expert in Astrology. Their expert knowledge is going to help us understand the things that has been going on with you.
They are here to ask you a few question regarding the incidence.
Do you think you can answer them?

I was hell nervous, i wanted Adhikshit to be by my side but yes, i trusted Vijay uncle too. So I agreed.

The elder person sat on a chair closer to my bed and asked -

Child, I see that you remember the incidence even after going back to a slow wave sleep. According to my knowledge, I have a feeling that you have a special power of predicting future.
So I want you to close your eyes and focus on details...concentrate on the sequences.
Ask youself questions like :

What caused that Incident!
How did you find out that such thing was about to happen!
Did you notice something new or unusual in the recent times that led you to see into the Future.?
Was this the first time that you experienced something like this?
Were you getting any kinds of indication that you could see in time.?

He was asking me questions and I was nervous. I closed my eyes and began to concentrate on the last events that occured within 24 hrs but nothing seem to look off beat.
I remembered everything but then I did not have answers to his questions.
I tried but my hurt hurt.

Can you see something Child? - asked purohit ji

I... Can not....my head hurts! - I spoke

Vijay! Can't this wait?
She is clearly still under the after effects of the strong sleep.!
I think we should let her rest. - said Lakshmi aunty

Lakshmi, do you think I am not concerned about her health?
I am also worried for her well being and probably this why I want to make sure that Roshni is taken care of as soon as possible!
I don't want to take any sort of risks if she has another power in her system.! - replied uncle Vijay

What is going on here? - I heard Adhikshit speak and my eyes fluttered opened

He quickly came to my side and caressed my cheeks softly and asked -
How are you Feeling?

I smiled weakly at him as I was still feeling exhausted.
Uncle Vijay said - Adhik, we think Roshni can see future and we want to make sure that her source of power is safe.

The other person who was introduced as an Astrologer spoke -
King Singha!
I think we have perform certain rituals to be sure.
I can see a clear change in our future Queen's astrological arrangements.

I would like to ask for your permission to take her to our Astrologer room.
And there, I am sure we all will find our answers.
Also, I think king Adhikshit can help us bringing out the source of her powers.
A destined couple is always helpful in such scenarios.

Hesitant, I looked at Adhikshit and he gave me an assuring smile.

I was taken to a illuminated room..it smelled of sandal wood and some spices and the Astrologer asked me sit on a small stool.
I sat down as instructed, the Purohit ji took out a yellow colour powder from his bag and he made a circle around me and began to chant some mantras. Adhikshit was asked to sit in front of me as well and a red coloured circle was made around him.
We were asked to drink some kind of holy water and then the Astrologer began to read some old manuscripts and often he would close his eyes and look up in concentration.

I could not understand one bit but I did what i was asked to do. I had Adhikshit by my side and I was assured that I was safe.

We both were asked to join our hands and concentrate in "Shunya" (Zero) closing our eyes.

I don't know about Adhikshit but after some time I felt that I was travelling.

The place was Unknown.... And the route felt like Black Hole.

And then I saw myself surrounded by a tall wall that had thousands of shining Crystal.
It looked like fine Mosaic Art.!

And then I remembered - THE CRYSTAL!

THE MIRROR from my other dream!

And most importantly THE DIAMOND on my ring!

I remembered All those precious crystal objects that showed me future incidences.
They acted as if they could talk to me!

Could it be possible that they could actually convey me about Future?

My eyes shifted to the Diamond sitting on my ring gifted by the Singhas and suddenly I felt a jolt and I saw, I was back in the room!

I could feel, All the eyes were on me but all I saw was my engagement ring!
That Diamond had predicted Future for me!
That could only mean one thing that....

I can see Future with the help of crystals!

My eyes were glued to the shining stone when I heard my mate -

Roshni, are you ok?
Did you see something?
Why do you look so lost???

My eyes found his worried ones and I whispered, almost unbelieving my own words -

I am a CRYSTAL GAZER!

And then obviously I was engulfed in a comforting Hug by my Mate!

How was it guys?
Wow, Roshni has acquired a very important power and now she knows how to use it!

Only time can tell if this power was a blessing or a curse!
