Years later

*A rabbit was hopping around when it flew in to the air it moved desperately to get free but to no avail it's legs got trapped in a snare, out of the bushes came Mirabel with a primitive knife made out of stone from the bushes and stabbed the bunny in the chest right in the heart giving it a quick kill the rabbit gave a quick yell feeling the knife go to it's heart but soon it turned cold*

Mirabel:.....

*The little mariposa just looked at the bunny that was slowly twitching the remainder of his energy, with glassed over eyes no longer did she cry over a dead animal she's gotten desensitized and with no one to talk do stopped talking all together, Mirabel release the rabbit putting it over her shoulder as she out the snare trap back in place, Mirabel turned around her eyes squinting at the harsh sunlight as she saw the sun begining to set she started walking at a fast pace back to her home in the lake even after years she still hides in the night as to hide from the big predators that hide in the shadows, her walk was interrupted by the sound of a tree branch being broken making her flinch and instantly turn around to see the shining eyes of a more powerful predator then her, out of the shadow came a growling wolf who smelled the blood form the rabbit in Mirabel's shoulder*

Mirabel:easy girl.....

*Mirabel said her first word after so long as the wolf started to make her way to Mirabel she walked back grabbing a rock from her pocket she threw it the wolf hitting it in the head making the beast yelp and run away, Mirabel stood there for a moment her mind collecting what just happened then she began to give out a bitter and harsh chuckle*

Mirabel:does a dangerous killing machine yelp like a little girl eh vieja chancluda?

*Mirabel said talking of her grandmother who threw her here to die probably to get eaten by the same damn wolves that Mirabel now saw as no threat, something that will come to bite her later on, but for now she continued her walk*

Night time

*Mirabel made it up a hill she sighed sitting down leaning her head against a log as she looked at the forest she now called home*

Mirabel"took too long to hunt, i need to get better at hunting.... Not to mention my gardening is shit my plant collection is crap and...*

*Before Mirabel could continue to wallow in self pity she heard something breaking sadly for her it was the log she was resting her head on, the log was old and rotten as it broke Mirabel quickly got up at the sound of buzzing she looked and the log was hiding a bee's nest*

Mirabel:of course....

*Mirabel mumbled to herself before she ran downhill away from the bees caught up to her and stung her making trip and Make the rest of the flight down rolling down protecting her head with her arms getting multiple cuts and bruises as she made it down she didn't get time to relax and let the pain of her injuries get to her as the bees were still coming and stinging her she got up quickly and kept running almost limbing holding the rabbit for dear life since it was her only food in days she made it to a river and jumped in hiding from the bees inside the water after a bit the bees left and Mirabel came out taking big breath of air, she swam to dry land coughing up water as she almost leaned against the tree first making sure it was good by giving it a few hits once she was sure she leaned against it hugging herself trembling of coldness she took off her old clothes that are now basically rags and put it on a branch out to dry as she painstakingly took out the bee stingers one by one after a bit she got up and looked around praying hoping for a break and thankfully she was gifted by a break finding what she was looking for*

Mirabel:Calendula flowers...

*Mirabel picked flower after flower until she had a hand full putting them on a flat rock she grabbed another rock and smashed the flowers until they became a paste she grabbed the slob of flower paste and rubbed it against the sting site the oils and juices of the flower numbed the pain and sucked any poison out of her body Mirabel seeing the large flower bed still in front of her couldn't help but let a few tears fall from her face as they reminded her of Isabela, she walked up and laid down on the flowers closing her eyes and going to sleep praying no animal come to get her, her rest was interrupted by something wet touching her cheek soon her whole body was starting to get wet she got up as she ran for any sort of cover to protect her from the rain in the end she ended up sleeping under a tree full of leaves that kept her as dry as she was gonna get*

Next day

*Mirabel continued her hike with an empty stomach she had to throw the rabbit away she learned her lesson about eating meat raw by the time she would've made it to her camp it would have been rotting, her stomach rumbled seeing a berry bush her mouth started to salivate getting close to it about to touch the bush to get her fill, but she stopped and retracted her arm away from the bush*

Mirabel"don't recognize the fruit don't risk the food"

*Her mood got worse remembering her uncle Bruno he knew what her mother was going to do and he let it happen*

Mirabel:they all let it happen...no...not all mom didn't mom is good...

*Mirabel mumbled to herself as she kept walking she was interrupted from her thoughts when something jumped out of the bush Mirabel turned around just in time to protect her face she raised her arm up and screamed in pain as the same wolf from before came back and started bitting her arm mirabel screamed in pain as the wolf kept bitting her hand as it scratched her chest with it claws piercing her skin Mirabel fell from the weight making the wolf fall on her back, Mirabel took this chance to run as fast as she could away from the wolf, Mirabel saw a cliff and she ran faster before jumping barely making it across holding on the edge with both arms as she started to climb up she again screamed as the wolf jumped after her landing on her back, the wolf not wanting to fall started to climb on Mirabel scratching her back making it bleed, Mirabel lost her grip and both fell a long way down, Mirabel fell on the hard ground and screamed in pain feeling her left leg being shattered by the impact while the wolf fell hitting an old tree the wolf whinnied as 2 branches pierced her body before she fell on the floor, Mirabel crying in pain still tried to crawl away from the wolf but the wolf was faster and got on top of her getting close to her face the wolf passed out from the pain, Mirabel pushed the wolf away and got up limping she grabbed the biggest rock she could hold and hold it on top of her head the wolf opened her eyes and saw Mirabel and what she was about to do, Mirabel saw the fear in the wolf's eye making her drop the stone and lean against it to start crying, Mirabel doesn't know how long she cried while hearing the wolf whine in pain but once she finished she looked at the wolf and got closer to it grabbing both branches that got impaled in to her and yanked them off making the wolf yelp in pain Mirabel took out from her pocket the flower mush she had left and placed it on the wolf's injury before ripping part of her clothes and tied it around the injury to stop the bleeding, her eyes got serious she grabbed what remained of her shirt and put it in her mouth for something to bit she took deep breaths before giving out muffled screamed as she snapped the bone back in to place, Mirabel fell as tears fell from her face as she spit out the dirty shirt rag, using the two branches she got out of the wolf she placed them next to her leg and ripped what remained of her shirt and used it as string to keep her bone tightly in place making a pseudo cast,Mirabel rested next to the wolf tired and in a great deal of pain, but she got a small smile as the wolf got a bit closer to her and licked her cheek, Mirabel petted the wolf before both of them passed out*

Month later

*A fish was swimming freely in the lake when it was stabbed by a pike it struggled to free itself but Mirabel took it out of the water and walked out with a slight limp still not fully healed, Mirabel heard the sound of whining making her have a soft smile*

Mirabel:I'm coming I'm coming

*Mirabel made it where the wolf called Gabriela was waiting resting her head on her paws she lifted her head and wag her tail when she saw Mirabel, Mirabel took the fish out of the pike and gave it to Gabriela who started eating it, Mirabel cooked her fished against the fire while she petted Gabriela she checked her injury and it was gone only 2 small scars remained*

Mirabel;looks good Gabriela want to hear about my day? Oh good well...

*And Mirabel went on looking happy that she has someone to talk too*
