the next morning

*Isabela woke up with a soft groan feeling better as her fever finally broke she slowly opened her eyes and looked around seeing no one there, she placed her feet on the floor instantly putting her right on in the air feeling a jolt of pain instantly waking her up*

Isabela:right, right injured leg...

*Isabela muttered then her eyes widen remembering last night*

Isabela:MIRABEL!!!

*the sound of something breaking was heard and running to that room the door was crashed opened and in came Mirabel*

Mirabel:what?! What?! What happened?!

Isabela:m..Mirabel!!

*Isabela started crying again with a huge smile, she placed her hand over her mouth as she let out a sob, Mirabel gave an annoyed huff and turned around*

Mirabel:you're fever broke but you're still weak stay in bed while i clean up the mess....

*Mirabel almost fell but she grabbed hold of the wall to stop herself as Isabela managed to jump from the bed to her back*

Mirabel:are you crazy ?! You could've hurt yourself!!

*Isabela didn't response and just hugged her clingy to Mirabel as a koala as she cried rubbing her face deeply in her back making Mirabel spine shiver and her skin to crawl as Isabela was ugly crying with the broken breathing and liquid snot coming out of her nose right on Mirabel's skin*

Isabela:i missed you so much i...we thought you were dead!!

Mirabel: first of all fucking gross. And second trust me alma did her best to kill me but sadly i survived now let go...

*Panic filled Isabela's body as she hugged Mirabel tighter*

Isabela:no! I'm never letting go of you ever again!!

Mirabel:where was all this when i didn't get my gift?

Isabela:.....

*Isabela hugged Mirabel tighter and let out a pathetic whimper*

*Isabela started crying again her mental state being extremely fragile, with a frustrated sigh Mirabel sat on letting Isabela switch position sitting on mirabel's lap, Mirabel laid down rubbing Isabela's back*

Mirabel:you don't ask for forgiveness you earn it if you want it you're going to have to work for it

*Isabela just nodded yes as she kept crying she started to hiccup until she fell asleep. Once asleep Mirabel tried to free herself but when Isabela felt the warmth leaving she would hug tighter. With an annoyed huff Mirabel just stayed there. Gabriela walked in looking at her owner expectantly *

Mirabel:sorry girl we'll go hunting later

*Gabriela Gave a whine, but she spins 3 times in the same spot before lying down in a huff*

Mirabel:i know you want to go out but i can't move

*Gabriela turned around giving her back to Mirabel who gave her an offended look*

Mirabel:oh yeah real mature, just remember who's the one that feeds you now get me a book

Gabriela:......

Mirabel:Gabriela i know you can hear me, and i know you can understand me because i was the one that trained you now get me a book

*Gabriela simply turned her head ignoring her, Mirabel gave her a furious expression as she crossed her arm and gave a huff looking at the ceiling*

Mirabel:for the last time no.

*We see her and Isabela in the middle of an argument, in the living room
Mirabel was getting ready to go hunting when Isabela asked to to join her*

Isabela:mirabel i can't let you go out there alone it's dangerous!

Mirabel:and what ? Me being with someone who can only use one leg isn't? You'll just hold me down. I've lived in this forest for years and I'm the one that been trained on how to hunt and survive, so do me a favor and stay here while i go and do my job I've already lost 2 whole days of hunting because i was taken care of you

Isabela:i don't care I'm coming with you

*Isabela got up with one leg in the air and a determined looked on her face. Mirabel gave a groan of frustration wanting to just pull her hair out of her head*

Mirabel:you.are.staying.

Isabela:no.im.not!

Mirabel:puta sea!! Princesa perfecta!! This is not encanto! You don't get your way just because you want now sit you're ass down and let me do what i do best!

Isabela:no! I'm not gonna lose you again just because you're too stubborn to accept my help!

Mirabel:what help?! You've had everything handed to do, forced yes but still handed do you, you.can't.do.shit!

*Mirabel took a deep breath pinching the bridge of her nose, while Isabela crossed her arms*

Let's see i was neglected by everyone except mama, when the candle fell and i tried to grab it to save it it gave me This scars on my face so fuck you abuelo pedro!, Then alma came and beat me until i pass out from the pain and dropped me in the forest to be eaten

Isabela:she did what?!!

Mirabel:oh don't act like you didn't know!

Isabela:we didn't!! Abuela told me the candle made you disappear!

Mirabel:oh how i wished it did but i know for a fact bad luck Bruno and that chismosa Dolores knew what happened to me! All that family apart from Mami. All of you treated me like shit because i didn't get a gift, so don't you dare try to suddenly play the role of the protected sister because.... Because....because .....

*Tears started to fall from Mirabel's face as she was breaking down*

Isabela:Mirabel...

Mirabel:I'm going hunting just...!!...just stay here and let me hunt i need to blow off some steam

*Mirabel turned around and walked away with Gabriela on her side*

*A bear was climbing a tree to get in to a bee hive when the swift sound of an arrow went flying hitting the beat in the eye, the bear fell on the ground roaring in pain, not dead but very much angry as it moved in crazy fashion until it felt itself getting heavier until it passed out dying from the poison codded tip of the arrowhead, Mirabel hopped down the tree she was hiding as Gabriela walked out of the bush*

???:quite the beast you've taken down

*Mirabel looked over her shoulder seeing who was in her forest*

Mirabel:i also caught a couple of geese but Gabriela ate them already. Help me carry this thing to my house

Charles:hm

*Charles and Mirabel each grabbed a side and started walking*

Charles:you seemed troubled

Mirabel:it's complicated

Charles:when you take it on alone it can feel complicated

Mirabel:good. Let's leave it like that

Charles:why do you not want to talk about it

Mirabel:because I'm still processing recent events that has happened to me in the last couple of days

Charles:and this poor creatures suffer you're rath because of it

Mirabel:well seeing as a bear took one of my arms i don't feel to inclined to feel sorry....it's a male right?

Charles:yes i did but if you hunt with negative emotion it will hurt you spiritually

Mirabel:you sound like reverend swanson.....one.....one of my family appeared out of nowhere in my house a few days back, a wolf injured her leg and now I'm stuck tacking care of her

Charles:and you find it unfair?

Mirabel:yes!....no....i don't even know, look this is my problem I'll deal with it

*They dropped the bear on the table of Mirabel's dried meat room and both walked out*

Mirabel:gonna go tell her I'm back you can go back home thanks for the help

Charles:and advice before i make my leave, healing doesn't mean the damage never existed. It means it no longer takes control of your life and right now is still has a strong control inside of you

*Charles left and Mirabel just stood there thinking of Charles words before taking a sigh, she walked up and opened the door seeing Isabela in the couch where Mirabel left her, she was reading a book when she looked up quickly she looked back down looking distraught, Mirabel walked passed to grabbed her tools to skin and chop the bear. Once she got them she started walking out the door when she stopped close to Isabela*

Mirabel:do you..... Do you still want me to train you?

Isabela:if you don't mind...

*Isabela mumbled softly, Mirabel took a deep sigh walking up to Isabela and grabbing her like a princess. Isabela blushed slightly at this holding Mirabel's neck, but Mirabel didn't even look at her*

Mirabel:then might as well teach you how to skin a bear

Isabela:why a bear?

Mirabel:because that's what I hunted

Isabela:YOU HAUNTED A WHAT?!!

*Isabela jumped a bit the movement made the strap holding Mirabel's prosthetic to slip off and made the arm fall to the ground, Isabela looked down seeing Mirabel's "arm" on the ground and gave a high pitch scream*

Marinette:you do this every morning...

*Jason gave a deep chuckle opening his eyes lazily, and smiling lovingly at his wife*

Jason:if i do this every morning, you should be used to it and Join me in the lazy side of the force

*Before Marinette could counter her dork of a husband, the door opened and the sound of little feets running to the bed was heard, Jason grunted feeling the large weight on his chest, he smiled and looked at the culprit his son, while Marinette had there daughter on her arms*

Thomas/Marin: it's Christmas let's go!!

Jason:it is? Well I don't know, i think i heard Santa say that you two were very naughty this year

*Jason eyes went wide as plates as his face paled seeing the rest of his family there in civilian Christmas clothing. His father Bruce Wayne, his siblings, Tim Drake, Damian wayne, Barbara Gordon, Bruce's wife Selina Kyle, dick's wife Kori, Kori and dick's daughter Mar'i and finally the grandparent/godfather of the family Alfred pennyworth, all holding presents. All had smiles on there faces except for Damian but that's to be expected. Jason shook himself out of his shock and started to stutter*

*Correction, this was the time Jason wanted to die again. The family of detective looked at the kids then at the ring on the girl's finger. Dick grabbed Jason's arm and pulled it up for all to see, they all saw a ring on Jason's finger there too, how they didn't see it before it was a mystery to them. Everyone in the Wayne family had a range of different shocked expressions. Damian "demon spawn, I'm the blood son" Wayne had the biggest reaction. He passed out by the very idea of Jason having procreated offsprings. Marinette seeing the youngest boy collapsed on the floor looked shocked*

Marinette:oh my God is he ok?!

*Marinette wanted to check on him but her children stopped her from moving, Alfred grabbed Damian and slapped him gently on the face to wake him up*

*Marinette's eyes widen as she looked in front of her to the small group who's reaction still hasn't changed*

Jason:yeah.... Marinette meet my family, the Wayne's, guys meet....my wife Marinette Todd Dupain-Cheng and our children Thomas Luke Todd Dupain-Cheng and Marin Leia Todd Dupain-Cheng

*Everyone looked at each other not sayinf a word until Alfred coughed*

Alfred:it's lovely to meet you 3 master Jason can we come inside?

Jason:o..oh yeah! Please come inside but shoes off, and sorry in advance for the mess the kids just opened the presents

*They nodded and everyone walked inside, Alfred places Damian on the couch while Mar'i went with Marin and Thomas to play and have fun all the children's were off on there own little world while they grown-ups.....*

Marinette:sorry we don't have tea, but here's some peppermint hot chocolate

Dick;it's fine thank you

*Marinette gave everyone a cup filled with the drink while she puts a plate of macaroons in the middle for everyone, Jason grabbed one ate ate it*

Jason:stress baking again love?

Marinette:had a big order finished it a few days ago

Jason:so yes

Marinette:...shut up and eat

*Jason chuckled and ate. They were sitting down on the table all eyes on Jason who was working hard not to look at anyone*

Bruce:I'm a grandparent...

*They looked at Bruce seeing him with a smile that was growing by the second at the thought of finally reaching grandpa status*

Jason:i mean you were a grandpa when Mar'i was born old man

Dick:don't try to use us to save yourself you've got a hell of A lot of explaining to do!

*Jason squirmed in his seat, he calmed a little when he felt Marinette's hand on his leg*

Barbara:how old are they?

Jason:the twins are both 5

Tim: so....one year older then Mar'i, meaning you've kept this secret for at least 7 years

Jason:it's only been 6....

*Jason muttered as if that somehow makes this better*

Bruce: Jason, you better start explaining why you've kept this from us, why I've missed 5 years of my grandbabies life and more importantly how all of this even happened

*Jason sighed rubbing his neck he looked at his wife who smiled at him making him smile back and look at his family*
