Ara sighed as she left the house again to find yet another thing for her mother to use. She walked into the woods and started searching for the strawberries where she normally looked. There were none. She walked a little further, still seeing no sign of strawberries. 

She had been walking for at least an hour when she finally found a group of strawberry bushes.

She was saddened by the fact that she would be returning home to labor in the hot kitchen instead of the staying in the protection of the cool forest. 

Oh well, she thought. At least I got a little bit of fresh air. 

Suddenly, she heard a rustling sound in the bushes. Ara jumped back in fear at the noise, but because of her curious personality, she decided to find out what had made the sound. Picking up a large stone she found near the bushes, she crept to where the sound was coming from. Clutching the rock with a tight grip she cautiously pulled the bushes apart to reveal.....

...... I was going to leave it here, but I thought that would be mean, so here you go!

A baby boy wrapped in a warm blanket. He had gripped one of the bushes vines and had started shaking it as a plaything. 

The poor thing, Ara thought. Out here all alone in this weather. But where is the mother? 

She called out and searched for the mother, clutching the child to her chest, but in vain she looked for there was no other living thing in the woods besides a startled deer. Or so she thought... A cloaked figure watched them from afar and prayed that one day she might be reunited with her son. Unfortunately, that day never came, for the woman was captured and never seen again...

Meanwhile, Ara took the child home and she and her family brought him up as their own.

Ok, so what did you think? I feel like the child could be a separate story. Also, comment and tell me what you think? I know that there are a lot of grammatical mistakes and it's probably a little confusing, but this is also my first story on Wattpad. I'll go through it and edit it when I have more chapters up!
