Brylee's POV

    Tristyn told me about her nightmare/dream but by the time she got to the end, she was in tears. It's not common to see her cry so it shocked Ash and I but we quickly gave her a group hug. She smiled weakly and said "I'm scared that I'll lose you guys when you find a boyfriend and I'll still be here, alone..." Her eyes started welling up again and we quickly replied "even if we find someone, you have to remember that we could never leave you alone. You're too special to be lonely." She smiled and mumbled "wow that was really cheesy... I'm usually the cheesy one in the group." She looked up with bloodshot eyes and hugged us both. Ash and I hugged her back. We stayed like that until her sniffing stopped.

    TJ's POV

    They spend the night at my house and we ate ice cream and pizza while watching chick flicks.

    *time skips to Sunday ;3*

    Ash's POV

When I woke up, I heard mumbles coming from the kitchen. I slowly got up so I wouldn't get lightheaded. I didn't see Brylee or TJ asleep so I figured they were the ones talking. When I walked into the kitchen, as I expected, they were talking about something to do with going "out". They were holding Starbucks cups in their hands and there was a cup on the counter.

I silently grabbed the cup and stood there as TJ glanced at me and continued talking. "We should do something big! Like, we could go to the park that doesn't have that many kids and decorate the place with like glitter and streamers and stuff like that..." She took a sip of her coffee and changed the topic, "I knew you didn't like coffee so I got you hot chocolate." The three of us smiled because we all knew that Tristyn remembered that kind of stuff. I took a sip of my hot chocolate and gestured for her to continue.

TJ's POV

"How about we go to a party?!" I saw my two best friends mentally face palm but I got excited about the idea of an unsupervised party. I always wanted to go but the duo in front of me always shut down my enthusiasm with a lecture that the typical parent would give.

    Today's lecture was different though. Brylee started with an exasperated sigh, "fine... but you know how you get when you drink too much..." I nodded to shut her up and promised not to go overboard.

    Brylee's POV

    I knew Tristyn was going to say something about an unsupervised party. I just knew it. So instead of scolding her for being an irresponsible teen, I finally caved and let her get her wish. Of course Ash and I are going to keep an eye on her so she won't die in a dark alley...

     When I told her the conditions of going, her face lit up like a light and nodded like a bobble head. I tried to hold in my laugh so she'll take me seriously.

    TJ's POV

     "Whatever but we're keeping an eye on you," is all I got from Ash but I got really excited. I could tell Brylee was trying to hold in a laugh so I started jumping up and down like a child, which made the three of us laugh so hard, we were on the ground.

    After the giggle fit, we went to my room to get ready for a common house party for high schoolers.

    Two hours later, we were ready. Ash was wearing a white shirt with a varsity jacket, skinny jeans, and red converse.

Brylee was wearing a shirt that said tomboy, even though she wasn't, with a black skirt and red converse.

And last but not least, I was wearing a black shirt with gold lettering, with ripped skinny jeans and tan high tops that had heels. I also had a black SnapBack to stand out.

    We obviously knew we were only in high school so we had to be careful. We walked to my older brother's friend's house to see flashing lights and blaring music.

    Honestly, I was terrified. I changed my mind before we got to the lawn and decided to grab my two friends by theirs wrists, gently, and took a sharp left turn, toward our childhood park. I knew the two said something but my heart was pounding to hard in my ears to hear it.

    Brylee's POV

    TJ took our wrists and started walking toward our favorite park since we were in second grade. I sighed in relief as Ash said, "I knew you would chicken out..." She stayed silent as she reached her favorite swing, the middle one. She sat down but didn't swing. I noticed her heavy breathing so I quickly kneeled in front of her to calm her down.

    All she said was sorry for making us do all of this just to retreat. I knew this specific swing in the middle of spring kept her calm, so we just gently rubbed her back until she calmed down enough to go home, which we did.
