"Of course, I'll go with you."

Lucy smiled down at Wendy.

The two girls were in the guild's archives, rearranging the books and files into a chronological order. Levy had been doing extensive research into the history of the guild for about two weeks, which meant that room was cluttered, and since she was away on the job with Gajeel, she couldn't tidy it. Mira's OCD tendencies wouldn't wait for her to get back and she was going to reorganize it all by herself, but Lucy and Wendy had butted in and offered to help. She had enough trouble running the breakfast bar and coordinating the request board and generally running the guild.

Lucy stood cautiously on a tall ladder, putting back the books into Rack #37, while Wendy sorted through the piles of books on the table below.

"I've been given a list of the things, as well," Wendy said, looking at the cover of a particularly dusty hardback.

"What sort of things?" Lucy hung on to the ladder with one hand, pushing a book into the shelf with the other.

"Herbs, potions..oh, even lacrimas. Like the ones that tell you if you have a fever, you know? Oh, and Lucy, these are from years 580-585." Wendy held up three books.

Lucy groaned. "That's even farther up. Rack...#42?"

"Forty-three." Wendy smiled apologetically. She raised a hand, manipulating the wind in the room, and the books floated up to Rack #36.

Lucy scooped them out of the air, and climbed a few rungs, holding the books close to her chest.

"It's a bad day to be wearing...a skirt," She huffed, and Wendy giggled.

There was a brief silence while the two worked, interrupted only by the voices of people speaking in the Guild Hall.

"Do you think Natsu likes you?" Wendy asked, suddenly.

There was a soft thud, and she looked up. Lucy had dropped a book.

"Dammit- and no, I'm pretty sure he doesn't. And don't go around thinking of us as a couple. You're the only person who doesn't see us that way, you know? Even Happy keeps annoying us."

"Oh." Wendy's eyes widened a bit. "I've always thought you'd make a great couple...I just haven't been very vocal about it."

Lucy turned to face Wendy, and opened her mouth to say something, when the door burst open and Natsu marched in.

"I thought I heard you in here. What are you doing?" He looked at Lucy, and he seemed to be annoyed.

"Helping Mira out, Natsu. She's got a lot of work, so Wendy and I are helping her reorganize." She emphasized on the word 'Wendy', and that's when Natsu spotted the small dragon slayer.

"Yo, Wendy. But why are you on a ladder?" He didn't take his eyes off Lucy.

"Because there are books to be put into these shelves, Natsu. And I'm fine," Lucy said, sounding a little irritated.

"You are not," He said, walking up to the ladder, his gaze still fixed on the blonde.

Lucy flushed, all of a sudden, and turned around to face Natsu, her back pressing against the ladder. Wendy shifted in her seat uncomfortably, staring at the pair.

"Don't come close, you idiot, my skirt is too short," She called out to him.

Natsu stood right under the ladder and looked up at her. Lucy felt her face turning crimson.

"What? I don't care, get down here."

His fists tightened around the ladder. Lucy squirmed, knowing full well that he had a great view up her skirt. She knew Natsu wouldn't care; he never did, and to be completely honest, didn't find it inappropriate, either, but she still felt uncomfortable.

"I'm coming, I'm coming, wait," She said, and scrambled down the rungs surprisingly fast.

"I don't get it. What's wrong with Lucy?" Wendy asked.

"Lucy threw up twice, this morning. You're supposed to be resting."

Lucy glared at Natsu, walking to the door.

"I'm going shopping with Wendy in the evening," She called, before marching out of the room.

"Something's wrong with her, Wendy. I think she's sick. Just look into that a bit, you know?" Natsu smiled at the midget.

Wendy smiled, and followed Lucy into the Guild Hall.

Alone in the room, Natsu collapsed into Wendy's seat. His breathing had shifted, and he was panting slightly. He felt his face heat up. His insides were burning - more so than usual, in fact.

The image of Lucy's flustered face, looking down at him came into his mind. Her lips, slightly parted, and her legs, even more so, exposing her underwear.

His vision went red, and he found himself craving her. He wanted to take her right then, right there. His manhood was straining through his pants a little.

There was the sound of a glass breaking upstairs. A female voice (probably Cana) cursed, and Natsu was back with an unpleasant bump.

What the fuck is happening to me?! He thought, burying his face into his palms.

When he looked up, his breath actually steamed a little.

Gray. I should find Gray.

"You feel what, now?" I asked, staring at the curled up figure on my couch.

"I don't know, man I've always been so comfortable around her." Natsu groaned and curled further in.

I sat on the arm of the couch, slightly amused.

"But did you just say you get turned on around Lucy?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't say that." Natsu's voice came out muffled.

I was honestly surprised. The last time he'd come home to see me, he was pretty casual about the Lucy thing. He was just confused. Now, I could see it starting to affect him. Besides, if what he said was true, about him getting aroused around Lucy, I might need to warn her.

"This is only Lucy, yes?"

"Yes, and only these past two weeks." He sat up straight and looked at me. He looked vulnerable.

"I'm so scared - what if I lose control? Or what if she gets disgusted and doesn't want to be around me? I just don't know why, and that terrifies me, man. I want to do so many things to her and I hate it."

I walked to the kitchen counter.

"Beer?"

"Something stronger, if you have it. I want to pass out."

I frowned at him.

"Natsu, that's not good for you."

"Screw that." He lay back down on the sofa.

Seeing him so miserable, I felt guilty. I had an inkling of what was happening. I wanted to tell him about The Night. But since Lucy didn't tell him anything, I wasn't sure if could. It was them who slept together, of course. On the other hand, I was kinda irritated. I wanted him to leave.

"Maybe it's all the adolescence getting to you. Hormones going crazy and all, you know?" I said, stalling. I couldn't help cringing at how fake I sounded.

"I'm nineteen, Gray. Please."

I shrugged. "You should talk to her about it. Seriously. Maybe right now."

The grandfather clock in the hallway chimed four times, and Natsu groaned and rolled over, lying on his stomach. He buried his head in his shoulders.

"Where's Happy?" I asked, trying to change the subject.

"I got him to go with her. She's going shopping with Wendy, for all the medicines and stuff for Porlyusica. Charle's with them, so Happy's gonna be distracte-"

He stopped, and sniffed the air.

"It smells like Juvia here. Like, it's really strong. Is she here right now?"

I nodded, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, she's in my room."

"Was I interrupting something?" He sat up.

"Yeah, you kinda did, man."

Natsu grimaced.

"I thought you were just normal naked, not, you know, in-the-middle-of-fucking naked."

"We hadn't gotten to that part yet," I said, throwing out a peace sign at him. I ran my tongue over my index finger, staring pointedly at Natsu.

He scrambled off the sofa and towards the window.

"Okay, that's my cue, what the fuck," He said, hurriedly, jumping out.

"Thank you for leaving!" I called after him.

I do not know where Gray's sexual energy came from. I love Gray.
