Warning: there is serious Fraxus fluff (and some steam) near the end, but nothing rated M!
"Natsu, it'll be fine," Gray said to his terrified dragon, petting his pink locks that were in disarray. Natsu held onto Gray's back, fists clenched, worried for his snowflake. The taller male sighed, resting his head upon Natsu's. At this point, the Guild had multiple members lying on the floor whilst fangirling(/boying). Gajeel shook his head, trusting in the frozen mage for once. Sting was clinging to Rogue with a giddy expression. The other slayers were deep in thought thinking of how to torture, ahem, test the little dragon's possible mate. Laxus and Freed smirked at each other, instinctively knowing (my phone tried to autofill to "instictively mowing the lawn" XD) what the other was thinking. Laxus shot a look at his only slightly younger brother, Gajeel, before rushing out of the Guild with Freed in tow.
The Guild had hardly noticed their departure due to the two "rivals" that had remained in a tight embrace. Gray's face felt overly warm, as Natsu pushed his nose further into his bare shoulder. "H-hey hothead, you wanna let go? People are staring," he whispered into Natus's ear, making his dragon jolt in surprise.
"No," he responded childishly, craning his neck to reach Gray's ear with his lips. "I don't want to," he purred, gently licking his love's inner ear. He pushed Gray's chest, detaching himself and huffed out a regular insult. "What did you say, Droopy-eyes?!" he exclaimed with his breathtaking grin. Gray simply winked, forming an appropriate response of his own.
"I said, why don't we take this outside? Wouldn't want a little lizard that can't control his flames to ruin the Guild again!"
"Let's go!" Natsu shouted in challenge, shoving Gray through the doors that had been consistently slammed by said slayer. Once away from watchful eyes, Gray latched onto the shorter male once more, refusing to let go. Natsu looked up shyly, admiring Gray's eyes at such a close proximity.
"You know you can't give me that look," Gray began, pulling Natsu's face to gaze at him fully, "because I can't control myself." Natsu shivered in the best way, reaching to place his hands on Gray's broad shoulders.
"Maybe I don't want you to control yourself," the smaller male suggested while raising his eyebrows. Gray released a growl similar to Natsu's possessive ones and his lips met the other's somewhat forcefully. He could be rough, but he would never hurt his precious fire-breather.
Natsu sighed into the kiss, tightening his arms around Gray's neck and letting him lead the kiss. He felt Gray's tongue swipe at his bottom lip, but it was gone before he could react. Gray's arms then disentangled from Natsu's waist, putting a small distance between the two. The slayer pouted, giving the raven-haired mage the best hatchling eyes he could muster. "Natsu, we can't make-out outside of the Guild when everyone is already paying close attention. You KNOW that if we were somewhere more private, I wouldn't hesitate," Gray growled, fighting the urge to unravel the alluring slayer before him.
"Yeah," Natsu whined, "and we have my family to worry about," he finished dejectedly.
Fraxus's POV (3rd Person)
Fraxus ahead: you have been warned
The pair arrived at the slayer house, minds working overtime to prepare the perfect plan for Gray. In all honesty, Freed was the only one working on the plan. Laxus was too distractred by Freed's look of concentration to form coherent thoughts. Freed sighed, turning to the towering dragon slayer.
"I cannot focus if you are to continue staring." His tone spelled annoyance, but he could never truly be irritated by Laxus, no matter how he treated him. Laxus took a seat near Freed, leaning back on the wooden chair.
"Just make a plan," he said, averting his gaze and nearly mumbling the words. Freed smiled gently; payback time.
"What was that, Laxus?" he questioned innocently, tilting his head at the imposing figure that sought to hide from him. As if on cue, Laxus shoved back the chair, knocking it over as he stood up. Freed held in a laugh, too amused to be afraid. "Is something the matter?"
Laxus glared at the rune-mage, but it wasn't completely out of anger. His heart thundered in his chest, but he stalked over to the entertained male. He gripped Freed's red jacket's lapel, forcing the shorter male to rise from his own chair. The green-haired wizard now found his, probably justified (more like Justine-ified), terror. Laxus growled lowly, sharp canines visible. He stared at Freed's spooked features, taking in all the tiny details. His eyes roamed, longing to glue themselves to the small, rounded lips of the enchantment maker. Freed nearly squeaked in fright as Laxus lowered his sensitive nose to Freed's hardly exposed neck, pulling back the white fabric opposing his actions.
"L-L-Laxus," Freed stuttered out nervously, trying to push the slayer away. This resulted in another, more threatening growl from the out of control lightning dragon. Freed stilled immediately, earning a contented purr. "Laxus, w-wha-"
The rune mage was cut off when Laxus crushed his face against Freed's, seizing his lips by force. Freed was startled, but didn't attempt to shove the slayer again. He knew it was futile, and although he would not admit it Freed honestly didn't want to shove Laxus away. Laxus bit at Freed's lip, but didn't break the skin. After a few moments of Laxus's heated rampage, he broke away from the confused male. Laxus, however, was not finished. He returned to the pale, exposed skin on Freed's neck, gently licking the area. Freed jolted, squirming in another attempt to escape, but Laxus's next growl sounded like the deep rumbling of thunder. Laxus continued tasting the skin of Freed's delicate neck and collarbone, exploring.
Freed shivered, enjoying Laxus's movements all too much. Suddenly, Laxus stopped. His grip on the smaller mage never faltered, but his licking ceased. Just as Freed worked up the courage to inquire, Laxus used his sharp canines and bit down on the area he had salivated on. Freed cried out in pain, but soon enough it simply felt numb. Laxus had broken the skin, but used his slayer magic to heal the wound simply by licking it. Freed was dazed, confused, and most alarming of all, hot and bothered (wink wink). Laxus let go of the weak body, catching him just before he fell to the floor. He placed the green-haired mage back on his chair, as if nothing had happened. He cleared his throat, stepping towards the door.
"Just make a plan," he repeated, shutting the door behind him.
Hello! I apologize for a chapter with basically no necessity for the plot, but I was in a fluffy mood. Fraxus is going to be a common occurrence from now on for obvious reasons. Feel free to comment, vote, and give suggestions. Thank you for all the support!
