Natsu tapped his foot impatiently, rapping his knuckles against the glass once more. The air around him simmered with heat due to his irritation. At the guild that day, Gray had definitely dropped a hint to Natsu. During a casual argument between the duo, Gray had said, "anytime, any place, flame-for-brains!" Yes, it may sound as if he was baiting him into a fight, but he had to have been inviting Natsu over. Well, that was the salmon-haired dragon slayer's logic, anyway.

The mage's "patience" was rewarded with an open window and a cool, strong arm pulling him inside. The slayer smiled a lovestruck grin, gazing into Gray's eyes with a dazed expression. The ice-make wizard sighed, laughing at his admirer.
"Pyro, you saw me at the guild today. Why're you so happy to see me?" Gray questioned, eyebrow raised. Gray would never tell the slayer outright, but that dazed look gave him goosebumps, which was truly a rare occurrence for him. He waved a hand in front of Natsu's face, snapping him out of his daze.

"Why aren't you happy to see me?" the younger of the pair whimpered, pouting and sporting puppy-dog eyes to melt even Gray's ice. Gray quickly pulled Natsu into a hug, wrapping his bare arms around him. The slayer nuzzled his hair and face into the elder's neck, enjoying the mixing of their scents. Gray gently shook his head: pesky dragon slayers. Natsu was always acting so helpless, tricking Gray into giving him whatever he wanted, not that Gray would ever complain. The cuddly dragon was very persuasive...

"You know I always want to see you," Gray consoled somewhat suggestively, raising a pinkish tint to Natsu's face, though it could be the reflection of his hair. Gray knew it was pink, despite what his defensive boyfriend might believe. Boyfriend. The icy mage had thought the word, but now he wasn't quite sure. They hadn't truly labeled what they had going on, as they wanted to keep it a secret from the guild. They both knew that Natsu couldn't keep that stupid, adorable, shy (Gray could go all day with more adjectives) smile off his face if they were official, which would surely tip off Happy to the news without words. Gray carefully pulled Natsu's head up to meet his own, lowering his lips to meet his boyfriend's. The longer he turned the word around in his skull, the better it sounded. The slayer smirked knowing he had, once again, gotten what he had desired.

Though Natsu had been impatient before seeing Gray, he let his secret love dominate the kiss. Natsu could beat him in a true brawl, so why not let the popscicle win something? The dragon would never admit that he reveled in Gray's kissing, his stripping habit, his... everything, really. Although occasionally he whispered things of the sort to Gray because of his lack of brain to mouth filter, Gray always smiled that sweet, caring smile, giving Natsu chills (which were near impossible!) every time. Air being a necessity, their prolonged kiss was broken, a string of entwined saliva attempting to reattach the two lovebirds. The slayer held onto Gray, hiding his face in his exposed neck once more.

"I think we should even the playing field..." Gray muttered, tugging Natsu's shirt over his hair. They hadn't gone any further than nearly naked cuddling, and that special moment wasn't for that night. The sleepy slayer only blinked at Gray, silently asking him the same question his eyes always seemed to ask. As Gray was already only in boxers, it was only a small unbuttoning of pants that allowed both to match. He lifted his blushing dragon as if he were a bride, dropping him unceremoniously on the covers of his bed. Well, it could be called their bed, as Natsu stated frequently that it smelled of them, not only Gray. Gray would never understand his nose, but as long as it only complimented him he couldn't complain. Natsu immediately burrowed into the blankets, not needing them for warmth just as Gray didn't, but wanting to feel a closeness with his "rival." Gray climbed into the other side, creating a spoon shape around his dragon. Said mage soon turned and curled into Gray's chest, sighing contentedly.

They just couldn't risk telling the guild, so breaking curfew was the only way something as wonderful as dragon and snowman cuddles could remain a common occurrence. Neither would give up their time together and both would do whatever it took to be together if only for a night under the stars.

This arrangement, however, could spell fangirling for certain guildmembers in the not-so-distant future...
