Kirishima and Fatgum were sent to a random area as they got ready for a fight.

Fatgum - It looks like we're stuck here for now but let's get ready to fight.

Both of them saw a giant muscular man with a Hassaikai mask running towards them with his fist clenched and ready to strike.

Red Riot - Come on. I'll smash your fist to pieces!

He got ready with him activating his quirk to his maximum. Unbreakable. Ready to received the strike.

The villain ran right at Kirishima as he struck him and Kirishima blocked him but his eyes widen as he was sent towards the wall. The man wasn't done as he attacked Fatgum with several strikes. He backed away as Fatgum caught his breath and looked at Kirishima.

Fatgum - You good?

He was shocked to see Kirishima breathing heavily and his arms cracked and destroyed.

Rappa - You know what I think? Knives and guns got no place in a fight. Anyone can win if they got a weapon, that's the cowards way. A real fighter kills his opponent with nothing but his strength. You a real fighter?

Fatgum - You're not gonna take us down that easily!

He aimed his punch right at Rappa but a barrier blocked his punch. This confused the hero as another man was with Rappa.

Tengai - So we have Fatgum and a boy with a hardening quirk. They're both suited for defense. Disappointing, isn't Rappa?

Again Rappa attacked Fatgum multiple times as even with his fat, he was able to feel the blows. Tengai even pointed out on how Kirishima was so damaged that he didn't even consider him a shield.

Fatgum - Your names Rappa right? It's been a while since I've been hit that hard. I've done a decent amount of fighting through the years too. In the end it all comes down to either your arms get tired or my body gives out. A spear vs shield, which one is stronger? I guess we're gonna find out now aren't we?!

Rappa - Finally! You totally get me fatso!

Both continued to fight as Fatgum kept receiving damage as Kirishima just doubting himself.

Kirishima - USELESS! Hidashi trained you and yet...your still the same. Nothing has changed...nothing has changed.

His mind went back to his past as he remembered how he tried to stop some students using another student's quirk.

Kirishima tried to stop them but he was taken down easily but eventually a girl named Mina Ashido stopped them as everyone said that she would easily become a hero.

He kept doubting himself as after the school day ended, Kirishima saw a giant man almost hurting a few girls but his body didn't move. Mina stepped in and told him what he wanted to know or is what he thought, however after he left she cried in fear as they left in tears.

But Kirishima was broken, once he arrived home he didn't know exactly what to choose for a school as he was gonna erase U.A from his choice paper. In pure frustration he threw a book at his shelf but a video of Crimson Riot was played.

The interview was the thing that Kirishima needed to hear as he finally understood what he meant of his words. Chivalry is about living a life without any regrets. His tears were the beginning of his new goals.

Training harder, he would be accepted into U.A  as Mina even noticed his new look once the new year had started. Kirishima vowed to never freeze again.

(Timeskip)

Kirishima got on his knees as he caught his breath and he just saw Yajin punching and continuing his training but the Saiyan noticed his friend just smile.

Yajin - (chuckle) What's up?

Kirishima - Nothing...it's just. Your really cool how you constantly never freeze and never show any kind of fear.

Yajin - Wrong...I'm always afraid. But I did freeze. That moment when Ragnarok killed my mom...I could have moved but my body didn't. It's a choice I will always regret. Which is why I train even harder. To never experience that again.

Kirishima remembered how he froze but he compared his moment with Yajin's and he just couldn't help but be jealous on whenever Yajin gets furious his power grows or whenever an act that would crush any person spiritually and mentally, Yajin would just use that pain into power.

Kirishima - Hey. Can you show me how to do that move you do?

Yajin - Which one?

Kirishima - The Kameamama?

Yajin spit his water out in laughter as Kirishima chuckled in embarrassment.

Yajin - The Kamehameha. (Laugh) Kameamama. That's the best one I've ever heard but sure.

Kirishima smiled as both sat down and Yajin started to speak.

Yajin - I've taught Kota this so I'll teach you too. Now my moves are all based on one thing. "Energy" so we're gonna learn how to bring out your energy.

Kirishima nodded as Yajin explained to focus his energy into one spot, he has to focus his mind and relax his body to bring out his energy. Kirishima failed the first time as he slightly got frustrated but eventually after several more times he was able to bring out his energy.

Yajin - That's it. Now focus on trying to bring that energy out more later. This takes time.

Kirishima took a breath as he felt all of his energy drained just with that. However he was determined to continue on learning to control his energy.

Day after day Yajin and Kirishima would train in martial arts, energy and spirit control. Kirishima was slowly getting better and eventually the day came.

(Day after the fight against Mirio)

Kirishima - Hidashi! I'm finally able to control my energy.

He showed as he brought out another energy ball and shot it at a nearby tree. Destroying it in the process.

Yajin - Not bad. Now pretty much the Kamehameha is focusing all of your energy into one spot. But I think I should give you something first.

Placing a hand on his back, Kirishima glowed red as he was amazed on how strong he felt.

Yajin - A little gift.

Kirishima had an aura as he looked at his hands and he could feel the power coursing through him.

Yajin - I slowly unlocked some part of your potential. Sadly I'm only able to do this two times. Now I will save the next one for later.

Kirishima - Thank you. But how do I do the Kamehameha?

Yajin - You've seen me do it. Just think about everything you've learned and you'll figure it out.

Yajin smiled as he walked away and Kirishima smiled as he bowed and watched as his friend just walked away.

Kirishima - I've always admired you. You never let the fear inside get to you. You are a true man.

(Present Time)

Red Riot - I've been in many scary situations since then but one thing has always frighting me more than anything else.

Fatgum was creating a powerful attack as Rappa went back to fight but Kirishima covered Fatgum.

Red Riot - I won't regret anything. Now or ever again! I'll do it, I'll become a hero...I'll protect people! If I crack then I'll harden again! Stay strong, protect others, even if it means your life.

The image of Yajin came to his head as a massive aura spiked as it blew away Rappa.

Rappa - This kid is awesome!

Kirishima maneuvered his arms to a familiar stance however one of his arms gave out.

Red Riot - Ka...me...ha...me...

Fatgum - Thanks Red..you bought me enough time.

Tengai formed a shield as Rappa told him to remove it but he didn't comply.

Fatgum - You made a mistake and so did I. We underestimated the hero named "Red Riot" and his chivalrous spirit!

Delivering the blow as the attack was able to destroy the shield but the villains were still up as a red orb brightened the darkened room. Kirishima shot the blast as a spirit figure of Yajin was behind him also shooting his own Kamehameha.

Red Riot - HA!!!

The blast completely pushed them to the wall and even destroying it in the process.

Red Riot - Spear...and...Shield...

Fatgum - The victory is ours.
