After everyone went to bed, Yajin and Izuku were walking towards somewhere with Izuku trying to get an answer but Yajin wasn't speaking. Unbeknownst to them....someone was watching and following.

Eventually their walk led them towards Ground Beta. Both stopped as Yajin spoke up.

Yajin - You know I never questioned it. Because in reality I didn't care but after today I wanted to know. What impressed All Might to make you his successor?

Izuku was nervous as Yajin turned around and he was scared of the look Yajin gave him.

Yajin - So we're gonna settle this. Right here...right now.

Izuku - Wait are you serious?!

Yajin - I'm dead serious. Ever since we started school you've been getting better and stronger. If you don't want me to hurt you then you gotta fight back.

Izuku - Please think about this!

Yajin ignored his plead as he rushed forward and Izuku noticed his left arm raised up. Quickly a blast hit the ground with Izuku barely dodging as he saw that his leg was slightly bruised.

Yajin - You know you always overthink everything. Just fight!

Instantly he rushed up and went for a punch with Izuku dodging and he noticed the destruction he was causing. Each punch wherever it connected would cause a shockwave that destroy the windows of the fake city.

However the figure that followed them was watching and that person walked out from the shadows and it was Todoroki. But these actions didn't go unnoticed as Aizawa was notified about both students.

Izuku - Wait, stop! Why hurt each other when we can just talk to each other?!

Yajin kicked Izuku's stomach pushing him back as he crashed on the wall.

Izuku - I told you to wait!

Yajin - .....ever since we were kids you were always by my side. I protected you.....but then All Might arrived and you got even stronger.

Izuku - Listen to me!

Yajin - Stop running! Stand up and fight!

"You didn't need me anymore"

Yajin - So why?! WHY?!

Yajin rushed in as Izuku covered his face with his face as he tried to block as many blows from Yajin however he decided to finally attack back as he landed a punch on Yajin's stomach.

The attack had such force that Yajin fell to the ground as he held his stomach.

Izuku - Hey. Are you okay?

Yajin instantly slapped his hand away. As this even shocked Izuku.

Yajin - Don't you dare worry about me! Attack me. Why don't you fight back?....Why did I end up having to chase after someone who was always so far behind me?!

Izuku's eyes widen as even Todoroki started to listen in the conversation.

Yajin - Why did you have to get strong? And become the Number One Hero's sidekick? His favorite. You got so much better....but I destroyed All Might! You admired him so much...

He stood up and Izuku was heartbroken of the look that Yajin gave. He was genuinely heartbroken.

Yajin - But it was because me that he ended up losing his power!

These words shocked Izuku and even Todoroki. Both couldn't believe that Yajin was blaming himself for everything.

Yajin - If I was stronger....if I.....If I wasn't so fixated on the relationship of Todoroki and Momo and I wouldn't have been kidnapped and it never would have happened. I did this to you.

Todoroki couldn't believe it. Yajin was jealous of his relationship. He actually felt like he wanted to move his body and give his friend a hug. Even after all that they both have been through...Todoroki still counted Yajin a friend. However he didn't intervene as this wasn't his business or fight. So he left hoping that Yajin could get the relief that he needs.

Yajin - All Might knows it was my fault but hasn't said anything. BUT EVERYONE HAS TO KNOW THOUGH! I can't get it out my head! It's like it's constantly playing on loop! SO WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!!!

Izuku - He's been carrying this guilt this whole time? Even more than me.

Yajin wiped his eyes but the tears kept dripping as Izuku's body glowed as he activated One for All.

"This fight wasn't one that needed a winner but I needed to fight him because I was the only one who understood him."

Yajin ran to Izuku however he was met with a devastating kick from Izuku and he saw the blood dripping.

Izuku - If we're doing this then I'm going all out! I refuse to be your punching bag Yajin! Let's go!

"In that moment Izuku and I finally talked about our feelings. We were family but we literally knew very little about each other."

"I couldn't ignore him"

"I needed him/I wanted to save him"

Yajin jumped up as Izuku dodged and he noticed Yajin being relentless but he was able to dodge his hand however in an instant Yajin used Instant Transmission as he got behind Izuku and landed a hard right hook.

Izuku coughed out a bit of blood but he tried to catch his breath but Yajin's reaction were faster. However Izuku smiled

Izuku - I guess I shouldn't be surprised that both of us have gotten stronger.

Yajin - What the hell are you smiling about?!

In a quick flash Yajin kicked Izuku's face but Izuku was able to recover quickly.

Yajin - I bet you have some kind of plan. I can never know what your thinking! No matter how much stronger I've gotten you were always able to keep up. You have everything while I have nothing! But if you really think your gonna surpass me as a hero, even with your new power! You better think again Deku!

Izuku couldn't believe that Yajin actually said that but he was just as shocked that he called him "Deku"

Izuku - Is that what you really believed? Think about Yajin. If I had everything then I wouldn't be training with you or even wanted anything to do with you. But I'm here. I've always noticed things about you and everyone because "I" had nothing at first. You had so much going for you that I didn't have.

Izuku power increased even Yajin noticed as Izuku percentage went up to 25%.

Izuku - All Might was my hero! But you were the one actually in my life!

Yajin - He's faster!

Izuku kicked Yajin's arms with both struggling on who would win.

Izuku - I always thought you were amazing Yajin. I wanted to see what you've become! That's the reason...I kept chasing after you!

Izuku was able to push to Yajin back as he noticed that his arms were cut. Yajin looked at them and he saw that he was bleeding.

Yajin - You passed me...

Instantly he rushed forward with both clashing their attacks as Izuku kicked Yajin and spinned trying to land another attack with Yajin barely dodging as he created an explosion causing both to be pushed back.

Yajin - My timing was off with that hit. He's gotten much stronger.

Instantly not even resting Izuku bursted forward Yajin as he screamed.

Izuku - IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!

Yajin aura bursted as his Kaioken activated and he screamed with both clashing again. With each punch a small shockwave was created however Izuku kept improving.

Izuku - Stop holding back on me!

Yajin would punch him with Izuku punching him back, each blow was countered as both separate and they clashed as they tried to push each other over.

Izuku - I need you to take this seriously Yajin.

Yajin eyes widen as Izuku threw him around and then to the sky as Izuku started to get even more intense as his hair flowed up and turned blueish green. Without knowing Izuku had reached 100% in that moment.

Izuku - I know you have another form! Fight me with everything you got!

Yajin screamed as he transformed into a Super Saiyan but Izuku wasn't satisfied, he knew that he's risking his body so he wanted Yajin to break his limits as well.

Izuku - Everything!

Both stared at each other. They were fighting for the answer of what to do next.

On the ground a figure walked out as it was All Might who watched the entire fight and he couldn't help but scream.

All Might - Come on! Come on!

Izuku - All of it! Because that's what I'm giving you!

Both rushed forward as Izuku punched Yajin stomach but Yajin punched him away. He tried to attack back but Izuku pushed him away and this time Yajin screamed even louder than ever.

Yajin his muscles slightly grew as his aura got even darker. His power grew exponentially that caused the Saiyans to sense his power even DeVoe sensed it as he smiled.

Yajin - IZUKU,BRING IT!!!

He jumped up towards him as he roared and then both clashed one last time as Izuku dominated him but Yajin eyes widen even more.

Izuku - Your the best! That's why I want to defeat you!

He landed a solid punch as Yajin remembered that Izuku once said that he will learn to control One for All and then beat him.

Yajin - I won't lose to you!

He kicked Izuku and slammed him towards the ground. Both were back in base but Yajin held Izuku down as both were catching their breaths.

Yajin - That's it. I won this fight....You have All Might's power but even after making it your own, you still manage to lose to me. Why? How could you lose?

All Might - Stop this right now both of you.

Both turned towards All Might as they even noticed Aizawa with him.

Yajin - All Might. Aizawa.

Both students slowly stood up as Aizawa used his binding cloth to bring Yajin close.

Aizawa - You...

He got him in a hug as this shocked all of them.

Aizawa - We never noticed your emotions breaking. I wish I could do what you need but I can't. Please...tell me what's going on.

Yajin cried again as he hugged him.

Yajin - I miss her so much...I just...I just want her back.

(Timeskip) 

Aizawa - Please try to get better. One for All is in the hands of both of you. Try to make yourself better.

Both of them stood up as they looked at each other.

Yajin - You had the strongest guy in the world lay the ground work for you. Don't ever lose again.

Izuku - I'll get stronger so I can surpass you.

Both shook hands as Yajin grabbed Izuku in a headlock and gave him a noogie. He smiled genuinely for the first time after all these months.

All of them were walking back to the dorms and they even noticed Melissa there.

Aizawa - Go with her.

Yajin - Thanks.

Aizawa smiled as he patted his head. Izuku and Yajin were a little bummed that they were in house arrest. Izuku was for 2 days while Yajin had 3 days.

Yajin - Hey.

Melissa - Hey.

They went to his room as they sat down with Melissa treating Yajin's wounds. Yajin grabbed the disc from his desk and placed it on his computer.

Yajin - Can you watch it with me?

Melissa - Of course.

The video started as it was a camera of Stain or better before he became Stain. Chizome Akaguro had place a camera on the shelf of a bedroom.

Chizome - My name is Chizome Akaguro. I've your seeing this then I'm sure you found out about the truth Yajin. My boy. I regret that I have to leave you just know...I will always love you. No. We will always love you.

Soon the video changed to both of Chizome and Azura saying their goodbyes as they cried and kissed one last time.

Chizome walked out the door as Azura looked down but her quirk activated and she started to sing.

Yajin couldn't hold back his tears as he saw how his mother promised herself to keep going even after his father left. Even just seeing her face was enough for Yajin to break down.

After the song was over Melissa could see how broken Yajin truly was and she wanted to help piece him back.

Azura - Yajin...if your watching this then...you know the truth. I'm sorry for never telling you but at least now you'll know. I love you sweetheart. Maybe your feeling like the world is against you but it's the opposite. You deserve the world baby, just remember that you should always smile.

Yajin tears dropped as he placed his hand on the screen. He missed his mother's voice.

Azura - Happy Birthday Yajin. I love you.

The video ended as Yajin looked at Melissa as both hugged and slowly separated.

Melissa - I'll let you sleep.

Before she could leave, Yajin grabbed her hand and both were close as he was blushing madly.

Yajin - I know "this" is awkward but I'm willing to try better.

Melissa was shocked as both sat down on his bed and both started to feel sleepy but Yajin got on top of Melissa and unexpectedly kissed her. Melissa felt the love in the kiss as she kissed back and held his head.

Eventually fell asleep but they didn't let go of each other.

Yajin has made his choice to start to move on but can he? Can he move on from the pain that he has dealt with? Is he ready for a new relationship?
