Jax-Ur - What happened down there?

Zod - He exposed a temporary weakness. Where is Faora?

Raditz - It seems Faora and Nappa are gone.

Zod - ....No matter. We can create a new one. Have you located the codex?

Jax-Ur - Yes. It was never in Kal-El's ship but in his DNA.

Zod - Does Kal need to be alive to extract the codex?

Jax-Ur - No.

Zod - Release the world engine!

A giant machine was released from the ship onto the Earth's atmosphere.

Lois and Clark took Clark's ship to the army general as for Goku he took Faora to the Kryptonian Ship in Antarctica.

Faora woke up seeing she was laying on a bed as she rose up and looked around.

Gine - You woke up faster than I thought.

She punched out of reflex but she hit nothing as she saw that the figure was not real but a hologram of Gine.

Faora - Where am I?

Gine gave her a sign to follow as she did and they entered a room seeing Goku training pushing himself up to the limit in 60 times gravity.

Faora - What is he doing?

Gine - He's training knowing that a battle is coming and he's preparing. He's been training for the past 3 hours. If you have questions he could answer them.

Gine disappeared and the door to the gravity room opened with Goku breathing hard and falling to the ground tired, and injured from his body already broken. He dragged his body towards the control panel and tried to get the small pouch he had on the top.

The gravity turned off and Goku still was breathing hard but he saw the pouch was right next to his head and he looked up seeing Faora standing there looking at the other direction seeing the snow outside. Goku gave a soft smile as he reached in the pouch and pulled out a green bean, he insert the bean in his mouth and chewed it for a bit and swallowed the bean causing his body to heal as the cuts on his body were healed and he took a good breath and stood up like nothing.

Goku - Thank you.

Faora didn't respond looking at the outside view but instantly felt pain and started seeing everything, hearing the sounds of people nearby and by the animals.

Faora - Stop! So much noise!

Goku instantly rushed over to her and grabbed her by her shoulders and placed his head to hers and instantly she calmed down now seeing everything back to normal.

Faora - H-How? W-What did you do to me?

Goku - I tricked your brain waves to move normally and not enhance your senses yet. But the more sun radiation you receive the stronger your body will get and the pain will come back so you need to train your senses. Focus on my voice, feel my hand, follow my movements and look at my direction.

Faora slowly removed her hands away from him and looked away as she sat near the window. Goku sat in front of her worried for her but he waited for a response.

Faora - What did you mean when you said that Krypton was destroyed like Planet Vegeta.

Goku - .....Frieza destroyed our planets.

Faora - No no no! I don't believe it. Frieza is a tyrant but he would never lie about killing our race and keep us. It's impossible.

Goku - I'm sorry it's hard to believe the one person who was feeding you and keeping you alive but why do you think he destroyed our race?

Faora - It was proven that our core was unstable!

Goku - Why do you think it was unstable?! A Saiyan named Bardock knew that Frieza was up to something and his will is now in my hands, the same with the pride of my race. Clark is the same with Krypton, the entire race of Krypton is on his hands. Have you ever thought of having a life of your own?

Faora - .........

Goku - Did you ever wanted to do with your life other than being the warrior that you were born to be?

Faora - .....No.....I was made to be a warrior. I never thought that I would get a life of my own.

Goku - Then stay here. Let me help you learn to live a life to your own decisions.

Faora didn't respond but before she could respond, Gine came in and told Goku that one of the World Engine was attacking the Indian Ocean and Zod was coming.

Goku - You have a choice Faora. I suggest you take it while you have a chance.

He walked out of the ship as he flew towards the World Engine but was stopped before reaching towards it. Goku saw who attacked him and it was his brother. Raditz.

Raditz - I wish we could have had our first battle in better circumstances.

Goku - Raditz please don't make me do this.

Raditz - We can leave among them Kakarot. Why do you wanna ruin that? We are supposed to rule them.

Goku - Rule? Raditz these people are our people. You can say I became soft but do you think our parents sent me here to have me rule over them?

Raditz - You were supposed to kill everyone here!

Goku - I was supposed to stay safe from Frieza you idiot!

Raditz rushed towards Goku and started attacking but Goku easily dodged every attack Raditz tried to land. Goku would block one of his kicks and push him back.

Goku - Our parents Bardock and Gine sent me Kakarot to this planet to stay alive and survive and keep on the Saiyan Legacy and if it means stopping you and Zod then so be it but know this fight is full of regret.

Raditz didn't care of what Goku said and rushed again to fight with the same results.

Goku - I'm sorry.

Goku punched Raditz chest and grabbed his arm turning his body in a 180 degree angle and slammed him down on the ground hard. Goku turned to the World Engine and he was pushed down quickly by the force of the machine. He wasn't expecting for the giant increase of gravity.

Goku - Come on Goku you can do this.

On the other side of the planet Clark was helping as many people evacuate the city with him trying his best to move well in the World Engine's power. The army had the phantom drive with them ready to hit the other World Engine but a few Kryptonians attacked the main jet.

Meanwhile Faora saw that Zod was inside the ship and overridden the consciousness of Jor-El and Gine.

Zod - I will built a new Krypton on the bones of both your sons. I hope you remember that. Goodbye and tell Bardock the same message.

The consciousness were gone and Zod controlled the ship and went towards Metropolis. Goku was down on one knee as he pushed himself up and he powered up even higher than ever in his life. He flew at top speed with a great roar, Goku's pupil turned red and he destroyed the World Engine causing the other World Engine in Metropolis to deactivate.

Lois - He did it.

Lieutenant - It's up to you and Hamilton now.

Lois went to check on the phantom drive while Clark was pushing debri out of the way, he made sure everyone nearby the destruction were moved out of the way.

Goku on the other hand was barely regaining consciousness and saw someone standing up right next to him as that person picked him up and placed him on a boulder. Goku vision cleared up and it was Faora who stood there and she wasn't in pain.

Faora - I made a decision.

Goku smiled but his vision went to his left and saw Raditz standing nearby as he flew towards the Mother ship that Zod was in and Goku grabbed Faora and went in his direction. Both quickly saw Zod in the Mother ship but they didn't expect Clark to rush inside the ship stopping Zod from attacking the Jet that had the phantom drive.

Zod - Stop if you destroy this ship...You destroy Krypton!

Clark - ....Krypton had its chance!

Clark blasted the ship with his heat vision and crashed the mother ship on to the ground as Goku quickly went towards the ground and kicked the mother ship into the more destroyed and abandoned area. He placed down Faora to see the destroyed mother ship as he kneeled down.

Goku - Mother, Jor-El. I promise to continue living and bring the balance of our worlds with Earth.

He turned to Faora who looked away but he could see that her face was slightly red. He hoped she wasn't sick right now but his attention went up to the sky seeing the World Engine being sucked into the Phantom Zone with Faora being slightly pulled to the sky and she pushed herself down with Goku placing his hand on the ground and holding her tightly.

Soon after a few seconds the Phantom Zone took the World Engine and the remaining Kryptonians and even the paralyzed Nappa away. Clark landed on the ground with Lois in his arms as both shared a kiss and Goku smiled seeing him happy but he realized him and Raditz were the only ones.

Now the remaining one were Goku, Clark, Raditz, Faora and....

The rubble broke apart and Clark walked towards the enemy.

Raditz - Brother. We'll settle this with the only way Saiyans know.....A battle to the death.

Zod - We could have built a new Krypton but you decided that these humans are better. Faora you will also die by my hand.

Faora - No Zod. My decision is mine and someone showed me I can change it, I won't take orders and so I say we do it the Saiyan way.

Goku - Let's settle this. Once and for All.

The true battle for Earth's fate was about to begin
