Yes I know that's not Nora's official emblem but it says on the wiki that it's her second/alternate emblem and I like it better.

Queen Salem kneeled down before a pit of bubbling black slime. "I call upon you mighty negaforce. It is I Salem, coming to seek your advice."

She held up a glowing ball of energy. It wasn't much but it was all her soldiers were able to gather over the past couple days.

"Accept this offering in exchange for your help."

The black sludge began churning faster and all of a sudden a strange humanoid creature emerged. The creature was faceless and its skin was a deep purple. It also had a pair of ram's horns on its head. This was Malum, the god of darkness, and the creator of the destructive negaforce. And it was this creature that Salem and her associates were hoping to unleash.

"Hello master," Salem said.

The being took the ball of energy from her and swallowed it.

"Finally..." Malum said, "I have gotten enough energy from you to be able to forge a tool that will help you reawaken our most powerful allies, the seven shadow warriors."

He cupped Salem's hands in his own and suddenly she was holding a black crystal, similar to the one Adam had used to try and find the imperial silver crystal.

"This crystal will lead you to the seven rainbow crystals. Hidden inside each is a shadow warrior. Gain control of each crystal and the shadow warriors will reawaken." Malum explained.

The dark queen curtsied. "It will be done master."

"And one more thing Salem," the dark being said, "you should know that the rainbow crystals are fragments of the imperial silver crystal. Once you have all seven you'll be able to reform it."

Meanwhile, Ruby was once again racing to school. She had overslept and knew if she didn't hurry that she would be late for class.

However, she was running so quickly that she wasn't watching where she was going and she crashed right into someone.

"Oh geez I'm so sorry!" Ruby apologized.

The man who she had knocked over sat up and dusted the dirt off his pants, "yeah well apology not accepted brat!"

The man's friend looked over at Ruby, "you see that you made him upset. Maybe if you give him your lunch money he'll feel better."

Ruby gulped. "I-I don't have any money."

The man grabbed her wrist, "well we'll just see about that won't we?"

"Hey!" Shouted a new voice.

The threesome looked up to see another teenage girl standing there. She had spiky short ginger hair and she was wearing a Beacon Academy school uniform along with white ankle boots with pink accents.

"She said she was sorry so why don't you leave her alone?" The newcomer asked.

The man who Ruby had knocked over scoffed, "and what if I don't girly?"

The girl cracked her knuckles, "well maybe I'll break your legs."

The man ran at her and attempted a punch but the girl casually stepped to the side to avoid the hit. She then kneed the man in the gut.

The man went down with a groan.

The man looked over at his partner then up at the tough girl. Deciding it wasn't worth ticking her off more he bolted.

Ruby was in shock as the girl helped her to her feet.

"Those guys didn't hurt you did they?"

Ruby shook her head no.

The ginger haired girl smiled, "well that's good. I gotta go, see you around."

With that she gave a quick wave goodbye before walking away.

"We have to find what now?" Neo asked as soon at the queen returned from her council with Malum.

"The seven rainbow crystals. And once we do we will finally be able to call forth the silver crystal and we will have unlimited energy," Salem explained.

Neo still seemed confused, "so why are these crystals so important?"

Roman looked over at her, "the crystals hold the most powerful soldiers in the negaverse, the seven shadows."

Queen Salem nodded, "exactly. As you know one thousand years ago I attacked the moon kingdom with the negaforce. The seven shadows were an instrumental part of that battle but the moon queen Summer used her magic to trap the seven shadows inside her silver imperial crystal. After which she sent it into space toward the planet Remnant. Once the crystal entered the atmosphere it broke into seven pieces. This should have freed the warriors but instead they remained trapped in the shards. I have still been unable to find them even now."

"So how are we supposed to find them and free them?" Neo asked.

"Each shadow warrior was reincarnated into normal everyday humans. These humans each hold a rainbow crystal and their former shadow self inside them. Unfortunately they have no memory of what they used to be," Roman explained to his lover.

"Precisely Roman," Salem said, "Neo as my new general I'm putting you in charge of retrieving the rainbow crystals." She handed her the crystal that Malum had forged, "this crystal will guide you to each one."

Neo nodded and took the crystal from Salem. Then she held it over her head. "Dark crystal I command you! Show me one of the holders of the rainbow crystals."

In the crystal's reflection she saw the face of a young man appear.

"Perfect."

"This is the worst," Ruby groaned as she sat down to eat her lunch.

"What is?" Yang asked.

"Well I ran into these jerks before school and they squished my lunch. Then I was late and Ms. Goodwitch gave me detention!" Ruby pouted as she took a bit of her flattened sandwich.

"Hey girls!" Ugine yelled.

Both sisters nearly jumped out of their skin.

"Ugine?! What do you want?!" Yang snapped.

The boy pointed to a girl sitting by herself under a tree.

"I was wondering if you'd met the new girl yet."

The two looked over and Ruby's eyes widened, "hey I met her this morning. She saved me from being mugged."

Ugine opened up a tiny notebook, "well from what I've heard around the school her name is Nora Valkyrie. She just moved to this area but apparently she's known for getting into fights. In fact that's how she got suspended from her last two schools."

But Ruby ignored him and stood up, "I'm gonna go talk to her."

Yang looked at her sister then over toward Nora, "Why? Didn't you just hear what Ugine said?"

"Yes, but she still helped me. I should at least say thank you."

Slowly Ruby made her way over to the girl.

"Um hi...Nora," Ruby said shyly.

"What do you want?" Nora snapped but when she saw who was standing there her face softened, "oh hey I remember you from this morning. Sorry about snapping at you it's just that most of the students have been talking bad about me today. They seem to think I'm gonna hurt them or something."

Ruby sat down next to her and the ginger haired girl looked over at her, "but hey as long as you're here we can share lunch if you want. I brought pancakes. A little weird I know but my friend makes the best ones in the whole world and he taught me how to make them."

Ruby thanked her before taking a pancake from the lunchbox. The two then began talking as Yang and Ugine watched from behind a tree.

"Yang sometimes I swear your sister can befriend anyone, even someone who might be a psychopath," Ugine said.

After school Ruby took Nora around the city to show her her favorite sites. Zwei had decided to come along too mostly because Nora was immediately smitten with the adorable corgi when she saw him waiting by the school gate.

"And this is the video arcade. I come here almost everyday after school. C'mon let's go find something to play."

The other girl nodded and they headed inside where Nora quickly found a fighting game she liked. Ruby began watching over her shoulder until her scroll rang.

"Hello?" She answered picking up the device.

"Ruby where are you?!" Blake asked, "we were supposed to have a sailor scout meeting at your house."

The redhead blanched, "oh geez I'm sorry I forgot. I was showing my new friend around town. Her names Nora and she just moved into town. She's really sweet I bet you guys would get along great."

"What?! I totally won that level stupid game!" Nora roared pounding her fist on the control panel.

"Uhh gotta go Blake I'll be there soon." Ruby said quickly hanging up.

She then looked over at her new friend, "Hey Nora I'm sorry to tell you this but I-"

However, before she could continue she was interrupted by the loud sound of cheering.

"What's going on?" Nora asked before walking over to a small group to investigate.

When she got over there she saw a bunch of people crowded around a man who was playing the claw machine game. He was wearing a long black coat along with black pants and boots. His long black hair also half shrouded his face but Nora could tell this man wasn't smiling. He looked almost emotionless.

The man casually pushed the lever on the claw machine which made the claw hover over a doll. The claw slowly moved down and picked up the doll easily before dropping it into the prize bin. The man picked up the doll and placed it into his bag which was already filled with toys.

"Who's that?" Nora asked a girl standing next to her.

"Oh that's Jonathan Mathers but people mostly refer to him as 'Game Machine Johnny' because he's so good at that claw game." The girl explained.

Nora watched in fascination as Johnathan picked his large toy bag up.

"That's all for today everyone," he said as he began leaving the arcade.

Johnathan walked out the door, passing by a disguised Neo who's pink and brown eyes glinted as he walked by.

Neo looked down at her dark crystal and smiled to herself as she once again saw Jonathan's reflection appear in the surface, confirming what she already knew, that he was one of the rainbow crystal holders.

As this was going on the two were being watched by Nora who began to feel like something was wrong. So she decided to follow Johnathan.

A little later Johnathan was on his way home when he felt a doll fall out of his bag. Slowly he reached down to grab it when suddenly he heard a sound like someone had broken a window. He looked up to see Neo materialize before him in shards of glass.

"Oh good there's nobody around," she spoke into his mind.

Neo then held out the dark crystal Salem had given her, "now come to me rainbow crystal."

Johnathan dropped to his knees as he felt a tightening sensation in his chest. The area around his heart pulsed with light as a red crystal tried to force its way out.

The crystal was almost freed when Neo suddenly felt the dark crystal be kicked from her hand breaking the spell.

"Hey what are you doing to him?" Nora shouted before standing in front of Johnathan.

"It doesn't matter," Neo spoke into their minds, "I'll just come back when he's really alone."

With that she vanished.

Ruby however had watched the whole exchange from a bridge above and she raced down to make sure the two were ok.

Nora reached her hand out to Johnathan but he smacked it away.

"Leave me alone! I don't need your help ok?"

He picked up his prize bag and walked away.

"What was that all about?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know," her friend replied, "but I'm gonna make sure he's alright."

"Wait Nora-"

"Ruby listen," Zwei told her.

"What Zwei I was about to go after Nora."

"I know but maybe you should do it a bit more discreetly, I felt strong energy waves coming from both Nora and Johnathan."

"Both of them?" Ruby asked quirking a brow.

The corgi nodded, "so follow them but be careful."

The girl nodded and began following Nora.

A little later Nora found Johnathan outside a cafe.

"Hey will you slow down I just wanna make sure you're alright," she said

Johnathan groaned, "I said to leave me alone kid didn't your parents ever teach you to not talk to strangers?"

Nora giggled, "well you're not really a stranger since everyone knows your name. You're Game Machine Johnny the greatest prize winner in the whole arcade."

He actually smiled a bit at that, "ok so you know my name what's yours?"

"I'm Nora. Nora Valkyrie. So tell me how did you get so good at winning?"

Johnathan looked toward the cafe, "why don't you grab a bite to eat with me and I'll tell you."

Nora nodded and they headed inside.

Soon the two got coffee, decaf for Nora, and they began chatting a bit.

"So you said you were gonna tell me how you were able to win those prizes." Nora said.

Johnathan put his cup down, "alright but you gotta promise not to tell anyone."

The ginger haired girl nodded.

The young man placed his hand over the coffee cup in front of him and began focusing. Suddenly the cup moved up all on its own from the tabletop and into Johnathan's hand.

"You have telekinesis?!" Nora asked in shock.

"Close. I can make things levitate. That's how I can win that claw game so easily. I simply make the toys float up a bit. It's so subtle though that nobody really notices."

"So did you learn how to do that yourself?" The girl asked.

Her companion shook his head, "I think I was just born with the ability. It's just something I can't explain."

Nora nodded and then looked up as the waitress approached their table to see if they wanted anything else to eat or drink.

However when she saw the woman's eyes turn brown and pink she realized it was the same person who had attacked Johnathan earlier.

"You again!" Nora shouted.

Neo used her magic to send Nora flying into the wall. Johnathan then began feeling the same tightness from before in his chest.

However, before the negaverse general could steal the crystal from his heart Johnathan ran out of the restaurant.

Neo rolled her eyes and ran after him.

Nora stood up shakily and ran outside after the twosome only to crash into Ruby.

"Whoa Nora! What's wrong?!" Ruby asked.

"The girl who attacked Johnathan came back. I have to stop her before she hurts him again." The girl shouted before racing off again.

"Wait Nora!"

"Ruby now may be a good time to transform," Zwei told her.

Ruby nodded and held up her locket, "moon prism power!"

The locket glowed and turned her into Sailor Moon.

"Look I don't know what you want but please leave me alone," Johnathan told Neo.

Neo held out the dark crystal again, "don't worry you'll soon be back to your true self again."

The dark crystal slowly pulled the red rainbow crystal from the young man's heart.

The villainess smirked as the red crystal floated into her palm.

"Johnathan!" Nora yelled as she raced over to her friend who was shaking violently.

"You again," Neo scoffed, "it seems I'll have to get rid of you."

"Not on my watch!" Sailor Moon shouted, "you better hand over that crystal now if you know what's good for you."

The evil woman looked over at Johnathan who's appearance had begun to change before turning back to the heroine, "no I don't think I will. You see Queen Salem really needs this crystal so I'm going to give it to her. Have fun with your little friend. Bye bye."

With that she vanished.

Sailor Moon tried to go after her but was interrupted by the sound of Johnathan yelling in pain. Both Nora and she turned to see the young man turn into a strange demon like creature with machine parts covering parts of his body.

"At long last I'm free!" The creature said.

"What the?!" Nora exclaimed.

The creature moved with superhuman speed toward Sailor Moon and began attacking her. He summoned an array of weapons to knock her around as if she was nothing more then a play thing.

Nora ran over there and grabbed the shadow warrior around the waist and held him up over her head, "new player has entered the game!"

A mark then began to glow on her forehead. It appeared to be a heart with a lightning bolt going through it.

Zwei gasped audibly, "so that's what I was feeling, Nora is a sailor scout!"

Nora threw the monster down on the ground as the corgi did several backflips in the air causing a pink stick with a golden tip to materialize in the air. The top of the stick had the same symbol that was on Nora's forehead.

"Here Nora take this," he told her.

The girl's eyes widened, "you can talk?!"

Zwei gave her a serious look, "I'll explain later but for now you must do as I say. Just like Sailor Moon you are destined to fight the forces of evil and protect the universe. Now hold up that stick and say 'Jupiter Power!'"

Nora looked unsure until she heard Sailor Moon cry out in pain. The shadow warrior had summoned an extendable claw from his left arm and he had grabbed the heroine with it and was now painfully squeezing her.

Nora looked down at the power stick in her hand and held it up above her head, "Jupiter power!"

As soon as she shouted that she began to glow with a bright light and her clothes transformed into a white leotard, a short pink skirt, and matching lace-up ankle boots on her feet. White gloves appeared on her hands and two sky blue bows appeared, one on her chest and the other at her back at the waistband of her skirt. A golden tiara with a pink gem set in it appeared on her forehead.

"She's Sailor Jupiter...." Sailor Moon said in shock.

The newly transformed Sailor Jupiter looked toward her captive friend and suddenly a strange wave of energy washed over her, it was almost as if this wasn't her first time being a sailor scout. Pink electricity crackled around her and she knew exactly what to do.

She crossed her arms over her chest and extended her pinkies and pointer fingers upward, "Jupiter thunder crash!"

A lightning bolt struck the shadow warrior, breaking his claw and freeing Sailor Moon.

The other heroine quickly raced over to her friend, "thanks Sailor Jupiter."

"Don't mention it, now let's take care of this monster."

"How though? I can't just destroy him," Sailor Moon pointed out, "Johnathan is still in there."

"Scouts your only option is to make him human again," Zwei told them.

"Oh of course that's a great idea," Sailor Moon deadpanned, "only one question. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT?!"

"With this," The corgi said before once more doing several backflips in the air, this caused a pink wand with a rose motif decorating the front and a golden moon on the top to materialize.

"What's this?" Sailor Moon asked picking it up.

"That is the crescent moon wand. It's the most important magical item we have. Now hold it up and say 'Moon healing activation' that will restore Johnathan's humanity." Zwei told her

Sailor Moon nodded and held the wand up before drawing a large circle of moonlight around herself, "moon healing activation!"

The circle of moonlight encased the shadow warrior inside it, destroying the monster but also returning Johnathan to his human self.

"It worked Johnathan's back!" Sailor Jupiter exclaimed happily.

Sailor Moon looked down at the wand in her hands, "whoa...this thing is powerful."

"Now Sailor Moon you must be sure to guard that wand. It's not only the symbol of the sailor scouts but it must also be given to the princess of the moon when we find her. Only she or you can wield it."

The moon heroine nodded, "understood."

The next day Ruby, Cinder, Blake, and Nora were hanging out at the video arcade. Ruby was relaying the previous day's events to her other friends.

"Hey girls what's up?" Jaune asked walking over to them.

"Oh nothing just chatting," Ruby said.

Jaune nodded, "Cool. By the way I heard Game Machine Johnny came into the arcade yesterday. What was he like? Was he super awesome?!"

The redhead thought back to the fight she had had with the possessed gamer and she shrugged, "I mean yeah but he's really just an ordinary guy."

The blonde young man seemed satisfied with that then looked over at Nora, "hey who's that?"

"My new friend, Nora."

Nora turned and waved only for her cheeks to turn pink a second later.

Jaune waved back and then went of to continue working.

"What is it Nora?" Ruby asked.

"That guy," her friend said, "he's cute."

"What?! I thought you like Johnathan! I mean you spent all day with him yesterday! You can't just get a new crush every ten minutes."

Blake and Cinder exchange looks, "You're one to talk." They said in unison.
