AainaZaydaan : Speaking at the inauguration of the Aaina Zaydaan Foundation. To all the women of my country, if you don't have a place to live, if you don't have a place to eat and if you have no means to get an education, this is for you all ❤️ Because collectively, we are the future!
AainaZaydaan : joy ride with these beautiful children ♥
AainaZaydaan : birthday celebration at the office because the PM was too busy to come home :)) Happy birthday Mr Prime Minister ❤️
AainaZaydaan : it's true 😂
AainaZaydaan : my baby sister just got into Oxford and I couldn't be more proud of her. Congratulations Saira ❤️
AainaZaydaan : Post graduation gift by the husband. Strolling the streets of London and its kind of crazy how so many people recognised me, four day vacation comes to an end but I will be meeting up with the overseas Pakistanis along with PM's advisor to overseas Pakistanis tomorrow. See you all there ❤️
AainaZaydaan : back home and I might be visiting your school soon :)) About time we start talking to our kids about the real issues. There's so much shame among us that we don't tell our kids about good touch and bad touch, about rape and harassment. I know these subjects are scary but to protect our children from the pedophiles, from the monsters, we have to aware them and educate them.
AainaZaydaan : There is so much negativity going on in the media since the past few days. No, the Prime Minister has not provided me with any position in the government. My task as a first lady is not to give orders, I don't have any rank in the government. But what I have in control is my foundation and that's what I focus on the most. On the other hand, when I meet the people, when I attend seminars or hold meetings to listen to their problems, it is only because I can help in aiding to their troubles by talking to the relevant people. I'm trying my hardest to be part of the change that my husband and the Prime Minister has promised you all. Change takes time, so be patient and trust in Pakistan. The media should play a positive role please :)
AainaZaydaan : Prime Minister's address at the world government summit in UAE.
AainaZaydaan : Pakistan Culture Day 🇵🇰❤️
AainaZaydaan : In between election campaigning, handing over power to the care taker govt, my semester exams and hundred other things, we still managed to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary haha. Time really does fly. Love, always ❤️
AainaZaydaan : not very handsome now, is he? 😂
AainaZaydaan : Vote for the change that you have seen in the past five years under the leadership of Zaydaan Ziagil. Do right by this country. I played my part, did you?
AainaZaydaan : this young woman flew from Canada To Pakistan to just vote for the right man. At the same time, she told him she'd only vote for him if he took a selfie with her. How could he refuse? 😂
AainaZaydaan : five years later, I'm attending another oath taking ceremony for the same man. Thank you Pakistan.
AainaZaydaan : The beautiful Sawat.

When they're alone in Sawat.
His smile widened, his teeth showing as he crossed to the edge of the living room and into the kitchen, he walked ahead, seeing the way her back swayed back and forth, singing and humming to her own self.
He walked towards her, his hands gripping her waist as he kissed her from the side, his beard grazing her cheek.
He felt her smile.
"Good morning," He whispered.
She turned around, pecking his lips.
"Mmm, it is." She felt his lips turn up against hers as he pecked her once again and then pulled away, she turned back around.
He pulled away but stayed in his spot.
"Never thought I'd see this sight." He said to her, Aaina shot him a confused look.
"Why not?" She questioned, pouring down the omelette on the pan.
Zaydaan chuckled.
"Almost four years into our marriage and you've never even cooked me an egg." He stated.
"It's not my job to cook, I'm a first lady." She said proudly.
He could never get enough of that, he couldn't ever get enough of her owning up to who she really was.
"Is that so?" He enquired, she nodded.
"Then why are you cooking now?" Zaydaan continued, she shot him a look, pulling him towards the chair and making him sit as she put a plate in front of him.
"Because I want to cook for my husband." She stated, smug as she poured down some tea and then took the omelette off the pan.
"So basically it's not your job to cook but you can cook if you want to cook." Her husband asked, she looked at him, confused.
He wanted to kiss that frown away.
"Uhh what? I mean yes, yeah." She put the bread alongside the omelette and put it in front of her husband.
She broke another egg, to fry for her own self.
"Need help?" Zaydaan called out after her and stood up.
"I'm just done actually, sit." She made him sit as she fried her own omelette and then sat on the seat next to him.
They were on a small resort adjacent to the swat River, a clear water river starting from the Ushu rage of mountains to the spread of the valley of Swat, it was one of the most green valleys of Pakistan, swat was the Switzerland of Pakistan.
As she stared outside the window, she realised that this place was far more beautiful than the ones she wanted to visit.
"This place is so beautiful, I don't understand why people choose to travel so far away when there's beauty like this." She put forth her thoughts.
Her husband seemed to like her words, infact, he loved Aaina everytime she appreciated Pakistan to the fullest.
"I guess there's not much awareness when it comes to our northern areas, to increase tourism, you need to spread awareness." Aaina continued, he raised an eye at her.
"Look at you getting trained." He commented.
"Just an advice." She mumbled, munching on the toast.
"I really expected this to be disgusting but it's surprisingly good."
Aaina heard him say, she didn't understand how he managed to appreciate her without even appreciating her.
"Is that a compliment or an insult?" She teased playfully, he shrugged.
"It's a compliment." He affirmed.
"It better be." She warned.
"Or what?" Zaydaan questioned, raising his eyes at her.
Aaina only had one weapon against him, she had realised it way earlier that it was the only one she could actually really use.
"Or I guess I'm on my periods so.."
So no sex then?
"You weren't on your period last night." Zaydaan murmured, she tried to stare in his eyes but looked away as the memory of last night filled her mind.
"Well, now I am." She said with a gulp and her husband let out a laugh, not saying anything after that.
He ate his breakfast in silence, and she did the same.
A few moments later, he stood up.
"I'm gonna go take a shower." He announced, looking at her for a few seconds.
"Is that an invitation?" Aaina bravely asked him.
She hadn't seen the cheeky smile on his face before, not before this.
"It can be," He replied, then grinned at his wife as he held her wrist.
"Actually come on, let me check what kind of periods you're on." He added, dragging her up.
Aaina tried to back away, he tightened his grip.
"I'm not on my period and it's too cold to shower, okay.." She tried to protest but her husband already had his hands by her waist as he lifted her up.
"Besides, we're going to start our save water campaign. What better slogan than save water, shower together." He said against her ear.
"Oh no."
"Oh yes."
"Zaydaan, no!" She exclaimed as he entered the shower.
"Aaina, yes."
And all they could hear was the sound of their own laughter.
AainaZaydaan : quiet happy nights.
AainaZaydaan : you know a person really loves you when they know what you want, even when you don't say it out loud. I'm a lucky woman :)

When she's wondering how it would feel to be proposed by someone and Zaydaan doesn't want her to wonder it anymore.
"Aaina, talk to me." He whispered, voice soft and smooth.
"I was wondering how it would feel to have someone actually propose to you." She admitted.
That's all he wanted to hear.
"You don't have to wonder. Close your eyes."
Aaina hesitated.
"But why?" She enquired.
"Because, I said so."
She closed her eyes.
"Now open."
The next thing she saw was Zaydaan Ziagil bent down on one knee with a ring in his hand.
She let out a gasp of wonder.
"Zaydaan." She whispered, looking at him like she absolutely couldn't believe what he was doing.
He breathed.
"Aaina, I'm not a sucker for romance, I don't have horses decorated or violins playing. But I do have a heart that loves you." He started off.
"I know we got married in complicated circumstances and you suffered but you have no idea how thankful I am that you still chose to love me."
Her heart felt so heavy at that. She could never get enough of his confessions for her. Never.
"With you, my life has a beginning and an end. I can't go on without you and you're the reason why I always manage to do what is right."
With you, my life has a beginning and an end. Tum se shuru, tum pay khatam.
Aaina sighed, still in awe.
"Tum se bauhat pyaar karta hoon, itna ke kabhi yakeen nahi aata ke tumse ek waqt main nafrat bhi ki thi. Tum meri jaan ho, Aaina."
She kept smiling at him, not knowing what else to say or do.
"Will you marry me?" He proposed.
"Zaydaan," She was laughing but there were also tears in her eyes.
She didn't say anything for a moment and her husband groaned.
"I can't stay on my knees any longer." He told her playfully.
She put her hand in front of him.
"Yes."
So he put that ring on her finger and even though their hearts had connected a long time ago, it still felt so refreshing.
Zaydaan got up and that was all it took as she cupped his face, kissing him tenderly, sliding her hands into his hair, swiping her fingers through it.
"Thank you. You don't know how happy you make me, I can't imagine life without you, Zaydaan. I love you."
She whispered against his chest, he kissed the top of her head and all they could feel in that moment was peace.
Khud ko kisi ke sadkey qurbaan kar dena bauhat asaan hai, lekin kisi ko toot kar chahna, takleef main us shaks ka saath daina aur sabar karna, ye bauhat mushkil hai.
Shayad muhabbat naam hi sabar ka hai.
Because it is true..
With time, with patience, beautiful things come to you.
