Paralogue 3: (Y/n) in Ylisse Land

Requested by deathspadeii I hope you like it, I kind of rushed again due to being busy with school and Mystic Messenger lol

~<>~

Lissa's POV

I'm going to show my big brother and Frederick that I am not delicate, and summon a magic hole in the sky that will suck in our enemies! I raised my stave to the sky, chanted the spell, and in the sky appeared a magic hole!

"Haha! Now who's delicate!" I yelled.

My brother and Frederick heard me yell, and looked up to see the magical void in the sky.

"Lissa, what is this?" Chrom asked.

"It's a magic hole that will suck up our foes in battle. Pretty neat, huh?!"

"Prince Chrom, Princess Lissa! Get back!" Frederick yelled as he pulled my brother and I behind him.

Out from the magic hole came two people: a man with blue hair, and a woman with (h/c) hair, clothed in wealthy old fashioned garbs. They were unconscious, so I dashed from around Frederick, and used my stave on them to awaken them, and I was successful."

"Princess, stay back!" Frederick told me as he pointed his axe at the people.

"Frederick, don't attack them!" I complained.

Suddenly, Frederick's axe was knocked out of his hand by the attractive man with the blue hair. Frederick then drew his lance, and engaged in combat with the foreigner, while the pretty lady with the (h/c) hair watched.

"Enough Frederick, let them speak!" My big brother declared, breaking up the brawl." I am Prince Chrom of Ylisse, leader of the Shepherds. I take it you are not from here?"

"My name is Ephraim and this is my wife (Y/n)...we are from the country of Renais. Ylisse you say? I've never heard of it?"

"Haha we are in Ylisse now, silly! You're from a place called Renais? Is that a real place? Oh, and I am Lissa! Chrom's darling little sister who's not delicate!" I explained.

"Renais you say? I think I've heard of Renais before from my studies. You say you're names are Ephraim and (Y/n) correct? Ah, you guys are the legendary King and Queen who restored the continent of Magvel from the destruction of the demon king!" Big brother exclaimed.

"Milord, that's impossible! These to must be imposters because the restoration of Magvel occurred centuries ago."

"Not necessarily Frederick. I think the magic hole Lissa was trying to create turned out to be a portal that summons heroes from different timelines."

"Excuse me, so if this is true, is there a way to send us back to our timeline?" (Y/n) asked.

"Uh, I'm afraid I don't know how to." I lowered my head.

Things like this always happen when I try to prove myself, I always end up embarrassing myself.

"Don't worry Lissa." Chrom said as he patted my head. "We will find a way to send you back to your homeland, I promise. For the time being, you're welcome to stay with us at the castle."

Ephraim's  POV

"Ephraim, do you think we can trust these people?" My wife whispered to me.

"I believe so, it's our only option right now. Don't worry, if anything happens I'll protect you."

"Alright, if you say so," she replied as she took ahold of my hand.

Lead by Chrom of Ylisse, we arrived at the royal palace of Ylisse. It's exterior and interior design is so different from castle Renais.

"Oh, Mister Restoration King! Would you like a tour of the castle? I just looooove giving tours! How about you Queen (Y/n)? Oh, and afterwards I can show you the towns and—"

"Lissa, calm down. I'm pretty sure they're both mentally and physically tired; let them gather their thoughts first." Chrom scolded his younger sister.

"R-right, sorry."

"The prince is right. Plus we shouldn't let them explore the castle they might steal something." The paladin called Frederick said.

"Frederick!" Lissa screamed.

"It's okay Frederick, I can understand your concerns. I have a cavalier back in castle Renais who would have the same suspicions as you." I said.

"Haha, you mean Kyle? Yeah, I could definitely see him doing this!" (Y/n) laughed.

In a distance, I could here the sounds of swords clashing.

"Is there a war going on?" I asked.

"Oh no, that's just the sound of the shepherds sparing." The prince informed me.

"Shepherds? Shouldn't they be taking care of their sheep instead?" (Y/n) chuckled.

"Haha, the shepherds are a volunteer army that the three of us put together."

"Oh, can I spar with them?" I asked.

"Ephraim, why is it that every time we go somewhere, you're always looking for a fight?" (Y/n) sighed.

"Actually, can we spar? I want to see if the history books are accurate in saying that you don't pick fights you can't win." Chrom smirked.

"Alright, let's fight!"

~<>~

(Y/n)'s POV

Here we are stuck in a different world, and all Ephraim wants to do is fight! While the two of them were sparing, and while Frederick was freaking out over the matter, Lissa showed me around the castle, and let me meet the shepherds.

"Hey everyone, this is (Y/n), queen of Renais!" The princess announced as she waltzing into a storage run that was clearly transformed into a training room.

"That's impossible, the continent of Magvel is no more. The queen couldn't possibly be alive." A stern looking woman with a pointed hat stated.

"Who cares, her fashion is so elegant and pristine!" A girl with blonde hair and a white parasol said.

Lissa explained to everyone what happened, and how Ephraim and I were transported here. A man with a cloak walked in the room shivering.

"Hey Robin, what's up? And why are you shaking?" Lissa asked the guy in the cloak named Robin.

"I-it's Tharja, she's been stalking me all morning, trying to hex me with her love potion." He stuttered.

"You can't hide from me forever Robin!" A lady in sheer clothing declared as she entered the room.

"T-tharja, please leave me alone."

The mage named Tharja glared at me.

"Who is she? Can I put a hex on her?" She asked.

"Haha, so Lissa have you thought of anyways that could transport me and my husband back to our timeline?" I inquired, changing the subject.

"Not yet, I was thinking someone knows magic well could help." The princess said while looking at Robin, Tharja, and Miriel.

"Sending someone back to another dimension? Sorry, I don't know how to do that." Robin said.

"Nor do I." Miriel confessed.

Everyone turned to Tharja.

"I won't do it unless Robin drinks my potion~"

"I refuse to—"

"I'm sorry Robin, I really need to return home!" I apologized for forcing Tharja's potion down his throat.

However, the potion didn't work as the dark mage had planned, and instead it made Robin have stomach pains and pass out.

"Hehe he looks so peaceful in his state of hibernation." Tharja grinned.

"Uhh, so Tharja? Can you transport me back?" I asked.

"Oh that, I need certain ingredients to do that. I need two talismans, 2 drops of Naga's tears, and 2 seeds of trust. Now leave me be so I can count the number of times Robin turns in his sleep."

"O-ok, thanks. So Lissa, where would I find these items?" I turned my attention back to Lissa

"Let's see...well recently, there is a merchant by the name of Anna who sells things like that, but she's in Plegia right now."

"Plegia?"

"It's westward of here. I'd say it's about a day trip, but don't worry! I'll come with you!" Lissa proclaimed.

~<>~

When I returned to where I left Ephraim, him, Chrom, and Frederick laying on the ground, breathing hard.

"Oh Lissa, thank gods you're here! Can you use you stave to heal us?" Chrom asked his sister.

She healed the three who obviously had fun; even Frederick, who eventually joined the fight to aid Chrom.

"How'd the fight go?" I asked Ephraim.

"Well I don't pick fights I can't win." He smirked. "It was a close match between the three of us, and man I'm hungry."

"Chrom, we found a way to send them back to their timeline! Tharja says we need to collect 2 talismans, 2 of Naga's teardrops, and 2 seeds of trust!" Lissa explained.

"Hmm, but that would mean they'd have to travel to Plegia." Frederick observed.

"If it will help them return to their timeline, then let's go." Chrom declared.

"Milord, I don't think you and Princess Lissa should accompany them on the trip to Plegia, it's unsafe and—"

"Frederick, as leader of the shepherds, it's my duty to help others in need." Chrom stated.

"Last one outside's a rotten egg!" Lissa screamed running out of the castle.

"Princess, wait!" Frederick yelled running after the energetic cleric.

~<>~

With a reluctant Frederick accompanying us, Chrom, Lissa, Ephraim, and I embarked on our journey to Plegia. First, we were able to meet with the merchant named Anna. Unfortunately for us, she only had the two talisman that we needed, so we had to go deeper into Plegia to find the rest of the materials. I shivered at the decayed bones of the dead on the sides of the dirt roads in Plegia. These bones look like they've been here for centuries...such an odd way to preserve history.

"Want me to hold your hand (y/n)?" Ephraim asking while chuckling at my frightened expression.

"Why, are you scared?" I laughed.

Ephraim picked up a decayed bone and held it in front of me.

"G-get that thing away from me, and go sanitize your hands!" I screamed, moving away from him. "You're acting childish...I kind of like that side of you though." I mumbled.

"Haha, what was that last part?" He asked.

"Seeds of trust." Frederick glared at us to make Ephraim and I stop our childish conversation." I found the seeds of trust."

"Frederick, you're such a party pooper, I was enjoying Queen (Y/n) and King Ephraim's conversation!" Lissa pouted.

Before the knight was able to respond to the princess, a bolt of lightning crashed inches in front of us.

"Damn, it's those Plegian mages! Princess Lissa, Prince Chrom I'll take care of this." Frederick cussed.

"You can't handle this by yourself, we will help too." Chrom said drawing his Falchion.

"You ready (Y/n)?" My husband asked me.

"Mhm," I said reaching in my quiver for an arrow.

Our battle strategy was to have Chrom, Frederick, and Ephraim serve as tanks in the frontline, while Lissa and I supported them in the rear with healing and long distance attacks. We were easily outnumbered, but this wasn't anything Ephraim and I weren't accustomed to. However, my usual attacks weren't effective against our foes. I guess in the future, regular arrows are less effective to magic.

"Queen (Y/n), why don't we combine our attacks together? I use my Arcfire tome to light your arrows on fire to pack a punch!" Lissa suggested.

"That's a great idea, I didn't think of that!" I cheered as a drew another bow from my quiver.

The princess' plan was a success. With that, we able to properly aid the men in battle, who were currently competing over who can kill the most enemies.

"Haha, it's like a game for them!" I laughed.

"Yeah! Even Frederick who is usually a stick in the mud is having fun! I think he actually likes you guys!" Lissa exclaimed.

"You think so? I can understand him being suspicious of us; if people coming from another timeline randomly came to my timeline I'd be suspicious."

~<>~

"So how many did you kill (y/n)?" Ephraim asked me at the conclusion of our battle.

"How many did you kill?" I redirected the question.

"12."

"Then I killed 13," I lied, knowing that I probably killed less.

"You're lying, there's no way you killed more than me!" He laughed.

"I killed 15." Frederick stated holding his head up.

"You had the advantage though because you're on a horse." Chrom, who killed the same amount as Ephraim, rolled his eyes.

"Who cares how many you guys killed?! We were lucky that they were also carrying a jar's worth of Naga's teardrops!" Lissa proclaimed.

"So we have everything now, correct? Let's head back to Ylisse before the sunsets." Frederick announced as we returned to the castle.

~<>~

When we arrived at the castle, Tharja was still examining an unconscious Robin. I really feel bad for forcing Robin to drink Tharja's potion yesterday.

"Tharja, we are back with the ingredients!" Lissa declared.

"Silence! I am intently recording the amount of times Robin turns in his sleep. So far, he has turned 13 times...14 now." She said scribbling furiously in her journal."You're still standing here? Fine, I'll make it but you better watch how many times my beloved turns while he's asleep! If you're so much as one turn off I'll hex you all!" The dark mage said snatching the ingredients as she retreated to her work area.

"Ephraim, do you count how many times I turn in my sleep?" I asked.

"Heh, if we go to bed at the same time more often, I'll count more than just that~"

"When I get married I hope my husband talks to me like this!" Lissa giggled.

"Princess, you need a gentleman for a husband, not a pervert." Frederick said.

"Are you trying to fight mother Frederick?" Ephraim taunted the top padalin in Ylisse.

"No, I'm just trying to eradicate any inadequate behavior that would cloud the princess' view of what a husband is like." Frederick retorted.

"Oh lord they are fighting again. How do they still have energy? And I'm sorry for my husband." I sighed.

"Haha it's fine! I'm sure Frederick is going to miss Ephraim when you two travel back to your timeline. I know I will, I always admired the king of Renais' lust for battle." Chrom smiled.

Two hours later

Frederick and Ephraim dueled until they were fatigue and eventually passed out. An anxious Tharja returned from her den, and presented me with the potion.

"How many more times did Robin turn in his sleep?" She asked me.

"Seven more times," I replied.

"Hmm," She said as she started pacing."You're lying!" The mage yelled.

"I-I'm not!" I protested.

"With the amount of time that I've been gone he should have turned only 4 times in his sleep because he turns once every thirty minutes! Now you've done it; prepare for my spell!" Tharja raged.

"W-wait! Ephraim and Frederick were fighting, so Robin probably turned more because of the loud noise!" I said frantically.

"Is that so?" She put her tome away."That makes sense...here." She said handing me this potion.

"So this should send me and my husband back to our timeline? How do we use it?"

"Pour it on the ground, and mix it with 2 tablespoons of each person's blood. Then stand on it and you should be back in your timeline." She explained.

"That's rather...odd, but okay. I guess we'll use it tomorrow since Ephraim's asleep" I said.

"Whatever, now leave me alone so I can be with my beloved~" Tharja responded as she stroked the tactician's silver hair.

The Next Day

"Aww, I can't believe you guys are leaving!" Lissa cried." I wish you guys could stay longer."

"Lissa, they have to go back, so they can rule Renais." Chrom told her sister.

But it was Frederick who gave us the hardest time.

"Wait, King Ephraim can we have another duel?" Frederick asked for the 10th time today.

"Frederick, they have to go." Chrom told the knight.

"I'm sorry Frederick, but my body is too sore from yesterday." Ephraim stated.

"Oh? That's not like you Ephraim, chickening out from a fight? And here I thought you were a man. Heh, maybe I should have let Tana have you~," I smirked at my husband while winking at the desperate Frederick.

"Fine, one last fight before I return." He sighed drawing his lance as Frederick's face lit up."I'm going to punish you when we get home (Y/n)." He whispered in my ear.

"Heh, you're too soft," I whispered back.

However as the two were about to fight one last time, guards from the castle informed us that enemy troops were parading through the town.

"(Y/n), King Ephraim, please return back to your timeline, we can handle this." Chrom told us.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, the two of you need to go back to Renais as soon as possible to rule her. We're use to fighting enemies, so don't worry about us Queen (Y/n)." The prince said.

"That's right, we'll show these bad guys who's boss!" Lissa chimed in.

"Alright then, thank you for all your help! It was a pleasure to meet you all." I smiled as we used the potion Tharja made us and followed her instructions.

"Good bye friends." We heard Frederick say as we were transported back to our homeland.
