I finally got a Sacred Stones character in Heroes! Unfortunately, wasn't Ephraim, but I got his rival Innes! Anyway enjoy the finale of The Sacred Hearts (Ephraim x reader)!

After the war came to its conclusion, everyone returned to their respective lands.

Eirika & Innes: Rulers of Frelia

Eirika and Innes were wed a few months after the war concluded. Ephraim and Innes dueled each other, and every match ended in a draw. Ephraim saw how much Eirika loved the snarky prince of Frelia, and agreed for the two to be wed. The two came into power after King Hayden felt it was time for a new generation to lead Frelia. Eirika frequently visited Renais to see its new rulers.

Tana: The Helpful One

Tana returned to her hometown of Frelia where her father scolded her for leaving castle Frelia to help in the war without his permission. After her scolding, she decided that she'd dedicate her life to helping those in need. She also aided Innes and Eirika in governing Frelia. Eventually, Tana found a man that she loved more than she did Ephraim, and they were wedded after both Innes and Ephraim challenged him to a duel to make sure he was strong enough to protect her.

Ephraim & (Y/n): Restorers of Magvel

Ephraim and (Y/n) were married with haste in order to start restoring the continent after the war. They first started with Renais where the people were accepting of its new rulers. The workload was a lot for the two, especially (y/n), who was never royalty before, so they didn't get to spend much time together. Ephraim was constantly traveling to different countries, and (y/n) was in Renais, governing its people. A year passed, and the workload began to decrease overtime, thus the couple was able to spend more time together. As they spent more time together, (y/n) became pregnant.

(Y/n)'s POV

It's been so long since Ephraim and I got to spend time together. Today, Ephraim said he's going to take me on a date since today is my birthday. I wish he'd at least give me a hint to where he's taking me, so I'd have an idea of what to wear!

"(Y/n), are you ready?" My husband said as he entered our room.

"I don't know what to wear because I don't know where we're going," I complained.

"It's a secret my queen." He whispered into my ear.

"Heh very funny Mister Restoration King. Anyway, since you won't tell me, why don't you pick out my outfit Mister." I teased.

He got up and searched through my wardrobe of clothes, and picked out an outfit that didn't match at all. Oh lord, I forgot the only thing he's good at is making love, being king, and fighting.

"I can't wear this Ephraim, this outfit doesn't match!"

"I wish Eirika were here to help." Ephraim mumbled as he searched for something else.

This time, he picked out what I wore on our first official date.

"Oooh, I remember this! I wore this on our first date, and come to think of it, you're wearing what you wore that day!" I exclaimed.

"Haha, and who's the dense one here?" He chuckled.

"Still you~" I smirked.

"Alright, are you ready (Y/n)?" He asked as he took my hand.

"Yeah, let's go!"

Ephraim took me a variety of places. First, he took me out to the market and brought me clothes and accessories. Afterwards, he took me to the arena to show off his strength. He told me to watch him dominate the arena with his fighting expertise; however, I told him I wanted to enter. Of course he was against it, but I said it was my birthday, so I can do what I want. Eventually, he gave in, and we both disguised ourselves so no one would discover our identities.

"I won't go easy on you if I meet each other in the finals." I grinned.

Ephraim doesn't know that while he was away on one of his 3 month voyages last year that I've been training with General Seth, and now I'm able to lift lances and swords with ease! He'll be in for a surprise if we meet in the finals.

And sure enough we did meet in the finals.

"Oh, so I can see you can wield lances now...impressive, you never cease to amaze me. Do you think you can best me, despite me having more expertise?" Ephraim asked.

"Of course I can, because I don't pick fights I can't win either." I mocked him as our match began.

I just wanted to say that, even though I know I'm going to lose badly to him. I was able to block some of his blows, but I could tell he was going easy on me by not hitting me with the sharp end of his lance, but with the round end of the bottom of his lance. The match ended in his favor, but I still enjoyed myself. I never enjoyed fighting so much, until I started traveling with Ephraim.

"Good try (y/n)," he said.

"Oh please, you weren't even trying! Plus, I have so much more to learn, I didn't actually think I'd beat you...unless I was using my bow and arrows, then the outcome would have been different!"

"If you want when we get back, I can train you some more."

"Me? Train under the legendary king Ephraim?! No way!" I laughed.

"Very funny (y/n), but I'm far from legendary."

"That's rubbish, you should hear the little boys in the town, they always talk about you and your exploits. P-plus, you'll always be legendary to me." I blushed.

Ephraim kissed me on the lips, and I kissed him back.

"Are you hungry (y/n)? I made us lunch." He said breaking free from the kiss.

"YOU made us lunch?! This I have to try!"

Ephraim's POV

"Whoa it's actually good!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she ate the food I made for her.

"You expected less of me? Haha, I learned how to cook after going on so many voyages."

"Haha for some reason imagining you cook makes me laugh. All I can picture is you slaughtering animals with your lance! Hehe, but I find men who cook sexy~"

"God (Y/n), you make me sound like a butcher. You know what I find sexy is women who like kids~" I said hoping she'd get the message.

"So you want an Ephraim jr. or a (y/n) jr? Or perhaps both?" My wife snickered.

"Definitely an Ephraim jr, but I don't know about a (y/n) jr. I might be too overprotective."

"True, you're already overprotective when it comes to me."

"That's because you are Eirika are the only ones precious to me that still live."

"Do you miss your parents?"

"Naturally, however if Grado never invaded Renais, our future together may have never happened. Do you miss yours?"

"Of course, but I agree with you. Sometimes good comes out of bad situations, I just wish they were here to see that we're married." (Y/n) sighed.

Wrapping my arm around her shoulder, I said to her," Don't worry my Queen, I know they're watching us from up above."

(Y/n) stood up and peered at the sky.

"Your parents and my parents are still alive Ephraim."

"What do you mean (Y/n)? They're all confirmed as deceased."

"In our hearts. They are alive in our hearts."

"Ah, I see."

(Y/n) and I gazed into the azure sky and we reminisced about the days of the past. It's been so long since I've been able to speak to (y/n) like this due to being king, and the many voyages I've been on to restore the continent. Prayerfully, I don't have to go on any voyages anytime soon because I really miss her and I always worry about history repeating itself.

"King Ephraim, I'm sorry to disturb you and Queen (Y/n), on such a special occasion, but our scouts have reported that there is a rising rebellion in Carcino. Our army awaits you command, my Lord." General Seth proclaimed.

I looked at (Y/n); her eyes harbored sadness.

"Alright, prepare our army to engage in combat, we will be leaving at nightfall." I replied.

"Yes Sire!" Seth said as he galloped back to castle Renais on his horse.

"You're leaving us again Ephraim." (Y/n) sighed.

"No, I want you to come with me this time, I want to fight with you by my side again."

"You know I can't leave the castle, someone has to rule Renais."

"Yeah, I know. I wish you could come...I don't want to leave you again." I said as a tear slipped from my eye.

"I know, I wish we could come, but it's not possible right now."

"We? And you said us before...who else are you talking about?"

"Ah, so you finally caught on. Ephraim, I'm pregnant." My wife announced.

"Pregnant?! And you fought in the arena today?! (Y/n) that was reckless!" I was astonished.

"Hehe, not as reckless as you are! Don't worry, I took my precautions." She smiled at me.

"Alright, this changes things. I have to inform Seth that I will not be leading this mission to squelch this rebellion. Making sure you and our child are safe is my priority."

"But you can't do that, the people need you, and as king you tend to the people's needs."

"There are other countries capable of addressing Carcino, right now I must tend to the needs of my wife and child." I declared.

"Thank you Ephraim, you staying with me makes me feel much safer." (Y/n) hugged me.

"I'm glad, and (Y/n), from this day forward, I promise you that I will not go on any long voyages again, now that I realize the value of family, and that I must protect the ones who are dear to me."

"Oh Ephraim, don't make vows you can't keep, I know you have a love for battle, so going on long journeys is inevitable for you." The queen laughed.

"My love for you is stronger than my longing for battle. I won't let what occurred before at castle Renais happen again; I will protect both you, our child, and Renais!"

"You know while you were gone on your previous voyage, the game of chess served as my form entertainment. While playing one day, I came to the realization, that the queen's role is to guard her king to prevent his enemies from trapping him, causing checkmate. Therefore, as your queen, I vow to shield you from all your vulnerabilities, while you shield mine."

"Wow, your deductive reasoning is impeccable (Y/n). Say, would you care to play me in a game of chess when we return home?"

"Sure, you're on!"

"Good, because I can't wait to get you in checkmate position~"
