I groan as a masive headache hits me. I had been at my desk in the pack house for hours, trying to put a truce treaty between my pack and Pinepaw. We always had a tricky peace and all I needed now was one more truce with a pack and I would have strong allies.
[Tate, we have a problem.] My sister's voice fills my ear and I sigh.
[What's the matter Eeva?]
[We have a rogue here at the diner.] Her reply is fast and I growl, I hated rogues.
[Kill him.] I ordered, getting up and walking to the table that held my whiskey.
[Tate, you don't understand, she is pregnant and was forced to be a breeder.] I pause at her words, the glass I just filled half way to my lips.
[I'm on my way] I say harshly, slamming the glass on the table and taking the elevator down to the first floor, heading to my jeep and speeding to my family's diner.
I quickly park out front once I reach my destination, walking briskly into the old building and stop, a sweet scent filling my suroundings.
"Alpha Tate, this way." Eeva's voice greets me as she starts walking me towards a girl sitting all alone, the sweet scent of vanilla and mint getting stronger.
"Alpha, this was the girl I told you about." Eeva says and I watch the pregnant wolf carefully.
She looked a little stiff and afraid as she stood when I reached the table, a slight tremor running through her and I felt a need to protect her.
"You don't have to be afraid." I say gently, moving my hand under her chin to lift it up carefully, being as soft and gentle with her as I could while I raosed her face to look at me.
When her eyes finally conected with my own orbs, everything stoped. Time stood still and I realized why.
"Mate" I growl, pulling her close to me and feeling her hands on my chest, enjoying the thrills her touch brought.
"Tate, carefull, she is pregnant." Eeva warns me and I growl at her, regretting it as I feel my mate quiver in fear.
Briskly I let go of her, wanting to fix everything right away, and move her bags to sit down before pulling her to my side, my arm wrapping protectively around her.
"Don't be so possesive." She states boldly, glaring at me.
"I can and I will, you are mine."
"I belong to no one." We both glared at each other, not realizing that Eeva had disappeared till she came back with more milk shakes and a tray fulk of pastries and cookies.
"Look here, this girl is pregnant and already had a rough day, now baby bro, let her be for now." I growled at her words, catching my mate's smile as she grab her drink and a chocolate tart.
By how thin she looked I knew she was staving, so Eeva and I waited for her to finish her treat before Eeva took her hand in her own gently.
"Now, whats your name?" She asks, and I keep my eyes on her, knowing she could feel my stare.
"Laina Starcrest, I came from Pinepaw pack under-"
"Samuel Lightran's rule." I finished her sentence, growling loudly.
"He knew about the new law and didn't stop breeders. Tell me, who's pups are you carrying. " I ask, my anger starting to rise at the thought of some one else touching my mate.
"I said tell me!" I bang his fist on the table in anger, watching her flinch, tears now falling down her pale face.
"Tate your scaring her. And I thought you said she was your mate." Eeva scolds me and I watch as my sister pulls my mate from me, feeling horrible for not being able to controle my anger.
"They're his. He forced himself on me to have heirs." She whisper through the sobs, and I stiffen as I look down at my broken mate.
"I'm gunna-"
"Take Laina to your house and get her settled and clean, then we go to the Council and deal with it the right way. You know you can't slaughter the pack till they give you the go ahead." My sister cuts me off and I nodd, watching Laina pull away from my sister and look at me with wide eyes.
"Not everyone is bad. Some of the warriors refused to take part in it and others helped me escape, like my cousin and his mate, the one warrior who guarded me. You can't kill them all." She was scared for those who helped her and I felt pride for my mate as I wrap my arms around her and pull her to me, letting her cry against my chest.
"Make a list of who were good and they can join the pack in the end. Wolves with families will be left alone. But the warriors who loved partaking in the breeding will die, so will Samuel." I add, giving her a tighter hug as she nodds, smilig when she breathes in my scent and hoping this would help her relax.
"Now lets get you home and relaxed." I add, pulling away and smiling at her, my arms now loosely around her waist as I took in her small frame.
"Okay." She smiles back shyly and I chuckles, letting her slide out as I grab her bags.
"Wait, take theese." Once again I hadn't noticed Eeva slip away but she held out a bag with boxes inside and I smelt the delicious treats my sister knew how to bake.
"Tomorrow we can go shoping if you want." She adds and I watch as Laian's mood becomrd lighter.
"Can it wait till I get setled in?"
"Sure, get some rest." She hugs my mate and and I wait for her, leading her out the door towards my black jeep, watching her rush to the passenger seat before I could open the door. I shrug and put the bags in the back, hoping in and driving her home. Half way there I was about to sk her something, smiling gently as I watch her sleep. I knew that she was my everything right then and there.

I smile as I hang up from the call with Laina and getting a notice from my instagram as a picture of our house pops up, proud of the way my mate had an eye for detail and decoration.
I loved her and our baby girl, they were my everything and I would give my life to protect them.
Turning to face the top wolves in my pack we get to work on a plan to take down pinepaw for when we get the go ahead from the elders.
"You sire this will-" I stop as something felt off.
[TATE HEL-] Laina's voice floats through my head and I freeze from the terror. With a speed I didn't think I had, I spin and run straight for my house, pack members getting out of my waya as I reach the drive and stop, the smell of wolfsbain and Samuel filling my nostrils.
[Laina baby, can you hear me?] I try to reach through the mate bond, my heart wrenching as I thought about my mate in the hands of that wretched man.
[Baby please answer me.] I was desperate as I sank to my knees, tears filling my eyes as I open another link.
[Eeva, he has her. Sam has Laina.] My voice was desperate now as the tears finally flowed down my face.
Arms pull me into some one soon after and I take in the familiar scent of my older sister as she holds me tight, letting me cry into her shoulder like I did when we were kids and our parents forgot about me again.
"We'll get her back. We have the elders on our side and one of the best trackers." My sister says soothingly.
"You can't expect me to pull her away from her honey moon." I whisper, knowing who Eeva was talking about.
"She is our cousin and your her alpha and best friend, of course she'll come." My sister assures me and I nodd, pulling away from her and standing.
"Okay, call for Kiki Silver then. Tell her I will pay for a new honey moon for her and her mate." I order, now in alpha mode as I bend over and pick up an object that cought my eye, realising it was Laina's phone.
[I will get you back baby so wait please and be brave.] I send to my mate, looking at the moon and sanding a prayer to the Goddess.

"You called Tater Tot?" I roll my eyes as I finish my call with Dian, turning to face the one person who got away with calling me that, Kiki Silver.
"Yes, I need your tracking skills. My mate was taken by her old alpha and I need to get her back." My voice was edgy and laced with pain since I couldn't feel my mate bond. Its been two days since she was taken and it was killing me, I needed Laina.
"Eeva filled me in on the situation and I already talked to Laina's cousin and his mate about where they took her the first time she was assigned as an illegal breeder. They don't know the house but they do know it was near the edge of their territory in what they called Breeders Avenue so as long as I have something of hers to sniff when in wolf form then I can find her." My cousin says and I nodd, leaning against the edge of my desk and holding my head in my hands.
"I need her Ki." I whisper and I feel my bestfriend hug me.
"I know Tate, and we will get her back. Besides I wanna meet my new Luna." She reassures and I nodd again, hugging her back.
For hours we planed on how to get her back and by the fourth day we got permission from the elders to take care of the situation the Blood Moon way. It would be a two day drive to get there and after I hung up on Dian, half the pack took off. We were on a mission.
I ran beside my cousin, my human for able to keep up with her silver wolf as we ran through the forest. Most of my pack had managed to move the non-fighters of Pinepaw to their pack house, keepng them there safe and sound and keeping them out of my way. It was Sam I wanted. Sudenly the mate bond opened up and I tried to link Laina but something was blocking me, but at least I now knew that she was alive.
My cousin stoped and growled snapping me from my thoughts as I turn to face the house she was pointing at, the one that was heavily guarded. With out warning I attacked, taking out the first two in my sight and ripping them to shreds. I could tell by the screams and the spray of blood that Kiki was fighting with me and we made it our missikn to clear the guards, some cowering and surendering, others trying to fight us and dying in the process.
Another sound soon joins in and I turn in time to see a member of Pinepaw take the head off of his fellow pack member before he turns and smiles at me.
"I'm Alex and I am guessing your Laina's mate. Go get her, me and this she wolf will cover you." I nodd at the guard, realizing he was the one who helped my mate and turned towards the house rushing inside and catching a terrified Ross, ignoring him and running up the stairs as I hear Laina scream, ending abruptly and I rush faster, getting to the door just as a pack doctor asks who Laina's mate is.
"I am." I answer deadly, watching Sam's face blanche to a ghostly white.
"SAM, Bloodsvain, they're here." I hear Ross's words as his heavy steps carry him into the room.
"Oh, Alpha Tate how-" I growl, ripping the man's head off as the smell of blood fills the room, letting the dead man's body drop to the ground
"Look Tate, I was just taking back what was mine." Sam says with fear lacing his voice, his hands in surender as he slowly backs away and my mate comes into view, her body naked and spread out for all to see and it took everything in me not to shift with rage.
"You okay Baby girl?" I asks, my eyes never leaving Sam's face.
"No, but if you untie me I will." She answer, me looking her way long enough to untie her legs, knowing she could untie herself.
The doctor just cowers infront of me and I growl lowly, grabbing him long enough to tear his head off and throw it off to the side before I fling my fist into Sam's face, the crunch as bone breaking upon impact.
But I don't stop there as Sam tries to fight back, aiming for my face but I dodge it easily, using my opponent's momentum and shuving him into the closet door, the wood splintering upon impact.
Sam stands again, growling as blood drips everywhere from him, his jaw and nose evidently broken as he rushes at me again his arm ready to punch me but I easily dodg, pushing Sam into the window where it shatters and he falls through, a sickening yet satisfying wet thud as he falls from the second floor.
My eyes turn to my mate who is at my side, pulling her close into my arms as I kiss her lovingly, my blood soaked body covering her naked one in the red liquid.
"Baby I missed you." I whimper out, tears now flowing from my once cold hearted murdering alpha eyes to the soft ones only the pack and she would know.
"I missed you too." She whisper, her own tears falling from her sweet face.
"Its been a long week looking for you and getting the attack ready." I say and she stiffens.
"A week?"
"Yes baby, thats how long you were gone, he had you for a week and I spent every day trying to follow protocol before I was finally able to be let loose. How long did you think it was?" I was confused and I watch her clutch my shirt, her tears flowing faster
"I thought it was a day!" She exclaims, my heart stopping at her agony.
"Why would you-" I stop and sniff her small body and frown as wrapping the blanket around her gently.
"They used wolfbain on you." I ground out.
"It explains why I couldn't reach you and why you wouldn't know its been a week." I adds as I lift her up gently.
"Alpha we have Samuel in custody." I watch as our beta comes into view and looks at the gore in the room then at my mate.
"Glad to see you're safe Luna." He adds, bowing his head and moving out of the way to let us pass.
"Have a clean up crew in here, I need to get Laina to Rex." I order and walk out the room, down the hall and into the sunlight, bodies of guards from the enimy pack in view as they lay there dead.
"They tried to stop me from rescuing you." I inform her and she smiles, kissing my blood covered cheek.
"You came for me, thats all that matters." She reassures me before snuggling close.
I rush her to the feild not far from here, knowing my wolves were there and I smile as it comes into view, Rex rushing to greet us.
I tell him about the wolfsbain in my mate and he reassures me it will be gone soon and relief flodds me. Everyhing blures as we end up in their pack house and I take care of Sam, happy when he was dead and me and my mate were on our way home where I showed her how much she meant to me.

I paced the room for the hundredth time, my friends sitting there and laughing at me.
"Whats so funny." I growl out and they smile.
"Tate, Laina won't care how you look, just that today you get to be married." Rex says, checking himself in the mirror.
Finally I stood infront of the crowd in the backyard, the bridal march starting as Laina comes into view, our baby girl toddling infront of her with a basket of flowers.
I smile and give Julia a hug, letting her go to Eeva and clutch to her aunts side as I turn to look at my mate, time stoping as our eyes meet.
My mind was on auto piolet as I said my vows, focusing on how beautiful Laina was and how amazing she looked. Half way through the cerimony I broke down and felt my mates arms wrap around me as we cried of happiness.

e danced the night away in each others arms at the ceremony, my eyes never leaving her when she took Julia to dance with her or she danced with her cousin.
Finally I got to take her home, our bodies pressed together for the first tike as husband and wife until she layed ontop of me panting and I smiled down at her little body.
"I noticed you never had anything other then water, juice and pop to drink, care to tell me why?" I ask lazily, curiosity lacing my voice as I play with her soft hair.
"What would you say to having another pup in the house?" She asks me gently, drawing small circles on my chest.
I stiffen slightly moving so that I could look at her properly.
"Do you mean?"
"That Julia will be a big sister, yes."
I roll us over, kissig my mate happily before moving to pepper kisses on her stomach, knowing that inside her this was my pup, and that our baby girl would be a big sister.
"This is the best wedding gift ever Baby, I love you Laina Randall-Silvermoon." I whispers, tears glistening in my eyes and she smiles gently at me, grabing my face and pulling me to her, kissing me lovingly.
"And I love you Tate Randall-Silvermoon." She whispers back, nuzzling our noses together. The rest of the night I showed her how much she changed my life, worshipping her body  and making her cum over and over again till she lay fast asleep against my side and I watch her sleep, knowing I would never let her go.
