✧ Chapter 7| Gimme A Man After Midnight
After returning to the road on a mission to get back to Vince's house and recover the chips,
Adam, who was recovering very well from his gunshot wounds to the abdomen, was driving the car with Harper in the passenger seat, holding Newton on her lap.
Meanwhile, Chase was riding ahead on his motorcycle. He was riding without a helmet because he wanted to feel the wind on his face.
The feeling he experienced was indescribable. It was a feeling of continuous change within himself, a change that was more of an evolution.
Chase slows down the motorcycle as the burning sunrise begins to hit his face. He lifts his head; the road is calm and empty, allowing him to close his eyes while the wind hits his face and he breathes in the fresh air.
He sighs as if it were a form of meditation, enjoying what could be a moment of calm before the chaos.
Meanwhile, Adam was driving, appreciating the beautiful view and the colors the sunrise brought to the landscape. "It's beautiful here, isn't it?" he says to Harper, who still had a dazed look as she had just woken up.
"Yes, the sky is lovely today," Harper adjusts herself in the seat. Adam sighs. "Bree would love this. You know, she always said she would love to take a big family trip somewhere," Adam says, and Harper frowns.
"She said that?" she asks.
"Yeah. I know it doesn't seem like something she'd say, but she told me that during a video call when Leo and I were on the island and you guys were in Centium City," Adam explains.
"Oh, that makes sense," Harper chuckles. "I miss her," Adam says sadly. Harper leans closer to him and rests her head on his shoulder. "I miss her too, buddy," she says.
"Do you think we'll be able to get them out of prison someday?" Adam asks, keeping his eyes on the road. Harper moves her head from his shoulder, deep in thought.
"I don't know, Adam. It's hard enough keeping ourselves out of prison," Harper lets out a pained laugh, and Adam presses his lips together to hide his frustration.
"Hey, I'm sure she's okay. They're all okay," Harper says. Adam swallows his tears. "They're in prison," he says. "I've been there. It sucks, but it's not as bad as..." Harper stops herself before saying that their current situation is worse and more dangerous than prison; it wouldn't help Adam at all.
She sighs. "I know they're together," Harper looks at Adam, who glances at her briefly. "Maybe they're in the same cell, Bree waking up every day with Oliver and Kaz singing their morning song. Bree yelling at them about it just like she used to when we lived together." She tries to cheer up Adam, who gives a faint smile.
"Maybe they'll meet other superheroes there, and they'll support each other because everyone there is an unjustly wronged hero. They'll come together..." Harper tries to stay positive. Adam nods.
"And I promise you, Adam, that the moment our situation improves, even just a little bit, because it will," she says.
Harper embraces Adam's attempt to think positively. "I promise we'll get them out as soon as possible. And we'll all start over together, okay?" Harper says gently to her friend.
Adam smiles slightly. "Okay," he says. Harper hugs Newton on her lap and sighs. "I wonder what Bree is doing now?" Adam wonders. Harper shrugs.

Meanwhile, in the maximum security prison where all the superhumans were held.
Bree was serving a prison floor cleaning sentence. She cleaned the cafeteria floor by herself while the prison radio played.
She starts humming the song, pretending the mop handle is a microphone "♪Half-past twelve♪" Her movements were full of energy and spontaneity.
"♪And I'm watching the late show in my flat all alone♪" She waves the mop like it was a microphone, and as she dance, she began to sing out loud.
"♪How I hate to spend the evening on my own♪" She spun across the floor, her feet slipping and sliding to the fast rhythm of the music.
"♪Autumn winds♪" She did a kind of improvised tap dance, tapping her heels on the floor in a rhythmic, bouncy way "♪Blowing outside the window as I look around the room♪" She briefly cleans the floor before continuing to sing.
"♪And it makes me so depressed to see the gloom♪" as she took a short break to turn around and sing the chorus even more intensely "♪There's not a soul out there. No one to hear my prayer♪" Her voice was full of determination and a bit of humor, turning the moment into a personal celebration.
"♪Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight♪" As the music played, Bree gave herself completely to the dance, making wide movements with her arms and twirling from side to side with the mop.
"♪Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away?♪" She bends down and stands up, as if defying gravity, and occasionally do a disco-inspired dance move, with quick turns and steps that reflected the joy of the sound.
"♪Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight♪" Every time the song reached the chorus, Bree increased the energy "♪Take me through the darkness to the break of the day♪" Bree spun the mop, put it in the bucket, and spun it again to put it on the floor.
She was concentrating on the music when she was interrupted by a police officer who shouted "Davenport!" Bree turned to him and returned to reality.
"Time's up, back in the saddle" The police officer says, Bree sighs and runs her hand over her sweaty forehead from cleaning and takes off the rubber gloves she was wearing.

Later, in the cafeteria, Bree, Kaz, and Oliver stand in line for food.
The lunch lady slaps a heap of unappetizing mashed potatoes and gravy onto Bree's plate. Bree wrinkles her nose in disgust. "Ugh," she says.
"That's all we have for today, princess," the lunch lady replies with a smirk.
Kaz steps up next. "But there must be something else, right?" he asks with a playful wink. The lunch lady rolls her eyes.
"Come on, we had a deal," Kaz presses. With a resigned sigh, the lunch lady slides a piece of nearly raw steak onto Kaz's plate.
"Good girl," Kaz smirks. "Shut up," the lunch lady retorts. As Kaz chuckles, she discreetly spits in his cup. Kaz's face falls as he grabs the drink and throws it in the trash.
The group heads to their table. Oliver looks determined. "Okay, I think I can get past the guards during their break today."
"Oliver, Skylar is fine. She must be doing better than us since no one's spitting in her cup," Kaz says.
"It doesn't matter, Kaz. She's my girlfriend, and I haven't seen her in days. I miss her," Oliver insists.
"We all do, Oliver. But we can't risk it," Bree interjects. "Everyone already blames us for being here. If you do something that causes punishment for everyone, they might kill us."
Oliver sighs impatiently. "I know. I'll be careful," he says. Bree and Kaz exchange worried glances.
Suddenly, a boy slams his hand on the table. "Boom!" he says, and Oliver jumps in surprise. "Max! What's wrong with you?" he says.
Max, a 15-year-old with a mischievous grin, laughs. "You get scared so easily," he teases.
Next to him, two girls approach. One, with vibrant blue eyes and dark blonde hair, sits next to Bree. "Hey, Gi," Bree says, greeting the girl named Ginger, Max's twin sister. "Hey," she smiles.
✧Raegan Revord and Aidan Gallagher as Ginger and Max Hartwin✧
The other girl, blonde and impeccable hair and blue eyes, approaches, sniffing the air. "Food! I smell food!" she exclaims. She licks her teeth, revealing sharp canine fangs.
✧ Mckenna Grace as Lena Wild ✧
"Oh yeah. Hi, Lena. Want this?" Kaz offers the steak.
"Gimme!" Lena's blue eyes flash yellow. Kaz tosses the steak, and Lena catches it in mid-air with her mouth, growling as she tears into it like a wild animal.
"Damn. There goes my diet," Lena grumbles as she sits down. Lena, a superhuman, has DNA that's a mix of human and snow leopard.
Max and Ginger, also superhumans, gain their powers after an accident in their father's quantum physics lab.
"Thanks, Kaz, you're my hero," Lena says. "Exaggerated," Ginger says. "You don't know how hard it is for me to be vegan," Lena says. "We're eating gravy right now; it has meat in it," Oliver says.
"I was raised to hunt. It's not easy to change something I've done my whole life," Lena says. "What did you hunt?" Bree asks. "I lived in the woods with my father; we hunted deer, until the day they took my father to a circus," Lena says.
"A circus?" Kaz asks. "Yup, he was one of the main attractions," Lena says. "That's horrible," Bree says. Lena shrugs. "Worse than that?" she points to the collars they all wear to contain their powers.
Ginger rolls her eyes in frustration. "I'm tired of this. I've spent my whole life in a lab, and just when I think I'm finally going to see the real world...this happens!" Her voice tinges with desperation, her fists clenching as she glances around the dingy cafeteria.
Max moves closer, his presence a steadying force. "Hey, it's going to be okay," he says softly, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Kaz, staring down at his plate with a scowl, adds, "The real world sucks for people like us right now."
"Hey, don't say that," Bree interjects sharply, her eyes locked on Kaz's. The room feels tense, each of them grappling with their own fears and uncertainties.
Max straightens up, determination flashing in his eyes. "We have to do something."
Kaz shakes his head, his voice tinged with frustration. "Kid, there's nothing we can do now."
"I guess there is. We start by getting out of here," Max counters, his voice gaining confidence.
"Yeah!" Ginger's eyes light up, her previous frustration momentarily replaced with hope.
"Uh! There are hot dogs outside!" Lena's voice is dreamy, her gaze fixed on the food in her hands.
"I swear I'm not like that," Lena says, her expression suddenly worried as if she fears judgment.
Kaz places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "No one's judging you, little lion."
Lena smiles, revealing her sharp, pointy teeth. "Thanks," she whispers.
Bree's face hardens. "And no, Max, there's no way we can get out of here. Our only hope now is for my brothers to rescue us."
"Look, Bree," Ginger says, her voice firm, "your brothers ran away. They weren't going to risk everything to get us out of here."
"We don't even know if they're alive," Max adds, his tone conflicted.
"They are!" Bree's voice rises, a mix of anger and desperation. "They just don't show any signs of life because they're running away. That's the goal!"
Max looks away, guilt and frustration etched on his face. "Sorry."
Oliver, who has been silent up until now, suddenly stands up. "Guys, things aren't going to stay like this forever."
"Yeah, they won't," Max agrees, trying to stay positive.
"Max, don't even think about doing anything crazy," Kaz warns, his voice stern.
Max sighs, exasperation clear in his voice. "Come on, I thought you guys were the Elite Force! You're supposed to be heroes."
"The Elite Force is gone. All we have is each other now. We're all part of a whole, something bigger, okay?" Bree's voice is resolute, a small flicker of hope in her eyes.
Before anyone can respond, a sudden commotion erupts behind them. Two prisoners, one a former superhero and the other a notorious supervillain, engage in a vicious fight. The cafeteria buzzes with chaos as the two adversaries clash, sending shockwaves of panic through the room.
"Oh no," Bree says, her eyes widening in alarm.
"Shit," Kaz mutters, his gaze locked on the escalating conflict.
"This is my chance!" Oliver shouts, spotting an opportunity amid the turmoil. He dashes toward the hallways that lead to Skylar's saddle.
"Oliver, no!" Kaz shouts after him, but it is too late. Oliver is already sprinting down the corridor.
The superhero hurls the supervillain onto a table, causing chaos to ripple through the cafeteria. Prisoners either retreat in fear or rush to intervene. "Come on! To the saddles, quickly!" Bree shouts, urgency in her voice as she urges the others to follow.
Disorder spreads like wildfire as the fight triggers more brawls. Guards with tasers move in, trying to regain control. "We're losing control!" one of them shouts into a radio.
"Go!" Kaz says, grabbing Lena's arm and pulling her along as they weave through the melee, dodging thrown plates and utensils.
"Sound the siren!" one of the guards commands, panic evident in his voice.
"No, not the alarm," Ginger says, her face paling. Max moves closer, wrapping his arms around her to protect her from the chaos.
"It's okay, it's okay," Max whispers, trying to calm her. "I'll protect you."
The mess hall doors slam shut behind them with a resounding clang. "Shit," Bree curses, her eyes darting around. Kaz grabs her from behind, his grip firm.
"Attention all prisoners," a voice booms over the loudspeakers. "If you don't stop the mess hall disorder, we will trigger the alarm."
"Go ahead!!" shouts the supervillain, his voice echoing through the chaotic space.
"Starting countdown," the voice announces, cold and mechanical.
"No," Ginger says, her voice trembling. Max covers her ears, his own expression grim.
"Ten; Nine; Eight; Seven..." the voice continues, the tension in the room palpable. Bree and Kaz exchange worried glances, both covering their ears in preparation.
The alarm's sound wave is a weapon in itself, designed to destabilize and stun superhumans with its powerful frequency. For ordinary humans, the noise is excruciatingly painful.
"Six; five; four; three; two..." the countdown continues. The slight vibration from the speakers begins, a subtle precursor to the onslaught to come. The tension in the room is unbearable.
"One..." The final number echoes, and a faint vibration starts, causing discomfort and disorientation among the prisoners.
The second vibration is louder and longer, pushing the pain levels higher. Ginger clings to Max, her eyes squeezed shut as the high-pitched noise begins to penetrate her mind. The entire room seems to shake with the sound.
The third vibration lasts even longer, its high-pitched tone relentless. The noise pierces through the room, causing everyone to groan in agony. Lena's canine teeth extend, and she lets out a pained roar. Bree collapses to her knees, struggling to maintain control. Kaz looks at her with a mixture of concern and helplessness, trying to resist the effects of the alarm.
When the alarm finally stops, the room falls into a stunned silence. The prisoners collapse to the floor, overwhelmed by the shock and the debilitating headache the noise has caused.
Guards move in with grim efficiency. They begin to drag the two instigators of the fight to a separate location while the rest of the prisoners are shepherded back to their respective saddles.

Later, Bree wakes up, still groggy from the alarm, and Kaz finds himself in the same saddle as her. Bree and Kaz were temporarily sharing the saddle before some superhumans were transferred to the another prison.
Kaz was sitting on Bree's bed waiting for her to wake up. When he saw her open her eyes he comforted her "Hey, take it easy" he said calmly "Uhg, my head hurts" she put her hand on her head.
"I know. I'm here messy" Kaz smiles, Bree throws her head back in amusement "You're always here" she says.
Bree and Kaz are sitting on the edge of the bed, their eyes fixed on each other. Bree's expression is a mix of tiredness and vulnerability, while Kaz, at her side, maintains a look of deep understanding and affection.
"Yeah..." Kaz reaches out and places his hand gently over Bree's. She looks down at Kaz's hand in hers and smiles slightly, a smile that is a mix of relief and tenderness.
Bree tilts her head, the burden and excessive thought she carries visible in her eyes. Kaz, noticing Bree's state, gives her hand a light squeeze. "I'll always be here for you, Messy." His voice is soft, but the sincerity is clear.
Bree looks up, her eyes now filled with gratitude and a special glow. She laughs softly, a sweet, welcoming sound that breaks the tension in the air.
Then she looks at Kaz with a look that speaks more than words could ever express "Thank you... for existing." She says sincerely, Kaz smiles, a smile that lights up his face and reveals genuine relief and joy.
He lowers his head and, with a loving gesture, rests his forehead against Bree's.
Bree, touched by this gesture, puts her hands around Kaz's neck, pulling him closer. "You have no idea how grateful I am to have you here now," she says. their gaze fixed on each other.
Kaz, still with his forehead resting against Bree's, feels her breathing calming and becoming softer. Their closeness is palpable.
With a hesitant but determined gesture, Kaz uses the hand that is still holding Bree's to gently slide it up to her face, cupping it affectionately.
Their eyes meet, Kaz leans forward a little further. Bree, catching the movement, closes her eyes for a moment, feeling the heat of Kaz's body against hers..
The kiss is gentle and passionate. At first, it is a light and affectionate touch, an exchange of warmth and affection. But it soon becomes deeper.
Bree wraps her arms around Kaz's neck, pulling him even closer as the kiss intensifies. Kaz responds with equal intensity, his hands gently exploring Bree's face.
When they finally pull away, both of them panting and flushed, Bree slides her lips down to his neck and kisses him softly.
"Do you think it's a good idea..." Kaz says charging, Bree looks into his eyes but doesn't move away "We...?" He says nervously, Bree smirks and strokes his hair.
"I don't think there's anything or anyone that would make me happier right now than you," she says. Kaz chuckles gently brushing her hair back and moving in for another kiss, this time with more tenderness and determination.

Meanwhile, in the prison corridors, two prisoners are taken to the psychiatric ward, where they keep all the superhumans considered mentally disturbed.
Two guards walk in front of the first prisoner, a tall, blond guy with a beard and blue eyes.
✧ Chris Evans as Glen ✧
As he walks down the hallway, he smirks to himself. "I know what you're thinking right now... 'Oh my God! It's Chris Evans! OMG, I love him! He's so handsome!'" he says to himself, chuckling smugly.
"Obviously. I don't judge you. But I only have his face claim, so calm down! If you think I'm Captain America, you're very wrong," he continues to talk to himself.
He rolls his eyes. "I'm not talking to myself. In this world, no one is alone," Glen says. The prisoner behind him, a blonde woman with delicate blue eyes, interrupts: "Glen! Shut up!"
✧ Sydney Sweeney as Gwen ✧
"Oh yeah... and that's not Sidney over there, that's my sister Gwen," Glen explains. Gwen rolls her eyes
"Ugh, sorry to interrupt the scene of Bree and Kaz's first time, but this story isn about that." Glen says.
"This story isn't even about us, to be honest," Gwen says.
"Exactly. I could break these handcuffs right now and free everyone, but I'm not going to do that because it's not in the script, and you all know it," Glen insists.
"Yes, Glen." Gwen rolls her eyes impatiently. "We're limited to the script. That's how life is. Can you stop complaining?"
"No, because let's be honest, this is the first time I've had the chance to say something!" he replies.
"Quiet!" the police officer shouts.
"Shut up, you nameless extra! You don't even have a name, dude, and you're going to disappear in the next scenes. What moral do you think you have?" Glen retorts.
"My name is Paul," the guard says.
Glen's expression shifts to frustration. "That's just the writer messing with me," he says, annoyed.
"He'll be in the next scenes too, and he'll have lines" Gwen says with a sarcastic smile.
"What the hell!" Glen complains.
"Get in there, you crazy freaks," Paul says, shoving them both into a cell and closing the bars. "If I were you, I wouldn't be making any more cameos in the future, Paul," Glen says, irritated.
Gwen sighs. "Okay, there's no way they think we're crazy." She says.
"Sure... But how are we going to explain what we know to them?" Glen crosses his arms.
"Well, we are superhumans. We see beyond what others see... we know we are nothing more than words on a screen. Pages in a book," Gwen says.
"Exactly. But none of the others here can understand that. They don't have the power we have," Glen agrees.
"So, I guess we just have to embrace our reality and accept that we're seen as crazy...Just because we can break the fourth wall" Gwen shrugs. Glen looks around and nods thoughtfully.
"You guys on the other side don't think we're crazy, do you?" Glen says to the walls "The crazy ones are the guys who canceled the original Elite Force series with a cliffhanger" He scoffs and Gwen rolls her eyes.
"But luckily in this universe we are here to continue the story" He says, Gwen frowns "Excuse me? Us?" She says.
"Yeah. Can't you see we're relevant characters in the story now?" Glen grins smugly "Yeah but don't let it go to your head" his sister says.
Glen shrugs, "I know the readers are going to love me, look at me." He says, Gwen rolls her eyes "I'm sorry about my brother guys" she says "He's a jerk"
"You're the one who's annoying. Do you already know if your presence is confirmed in the next book? Because I know I have." Glen says and Gwen gasps.
"We don't talk about the next book!" Gwen says, Glen walks up to her "Oh then we can't do the good deed of preparing them for what's coming...One word a 'time travelr'..." Glen says 'Shut up Glen!' she says.
"Wait, that was two words..." He says "Glen!" His sister says annoyed "Oh and I can't wait for Spike to show up again even more awesome because..." Glen is interrupted when Gwen cover his mouth.
"Hmm-mm!" Glen says "No! Spoilers!" Gwen says angryly and Glen rolls his eyes.
She takes her hand off his mouth "We have to think, there must be a reason for us to have our own plot now. We need to stop something." Gwen walks to the saddle rail.
"Would it be to stop Oliver from finding Skylar? Because honestly i'm not much of a fan of this two..." Glen says "#teamfinn !" he whispers.
Gwen rolls her eyes "No." She says. Suddenly they hear a truck outside "What's that?" Gwen asks, Glen goes to the window that looks out "It's a transport truck. They're unloading something," Glen says.
"What is it?" Gwen asks "Oh no!...oh No!" Glen says dramatically "Speak up!" Gwen says annoyed.
"It's a... You'll find out in the next few scenes for dramatic effect!" Glen smiles, Gwen throws her head back groaning impatiently and Glen chuckles.

On another floor of the prison. Max paces back and forth. Ginger, who shares the cell with him, looks down, tired of watching her brother's restlessness.
Lena is in the saddle next to her, drawing on the wall with her fingernail, which also becomes a sharp claw.
"I can't take this anymore. We have to get out of here...today" Max says firmly "Max is too risky" Lena says
"I'm willing to take the risk now that I'm still young and have a better chance of succeeding in my escape. Than to grow old here in this prison and only risk myself when I am old and have already lost half my life" He says firmly.
Max stopped pacing and approached Ginger and Lena, holding up a crumpled napkin with the plan sketched out.
"Look, here are the tunnels. During the prisoner transfers, security is more relaxed. This is our chance." He says.
Ginger looked at the plan, her eyes shining with a mix of hope and concern. "But what if we get caught?" She asks.
"What about Bree, Kaz and Oliver and his girlfriend?" Lena interrupted, her sharp fingers scraping the floor. "Are we going to leave them behind?" She says worriedly.
"They won't understand us. We've tried to explain the plan to them but they don't understand" Max insisted, the determination in his voice rising.
"Look. The guards will change shifts at 2 a.m. We'll have a 30-minute window. We need to move quickly through the tunnels. If we can reach the sewer, we can get out through the exit that leads to the woods." Max explains.
Lena bit her lip, hesitating. "Does it have to be through the sewer?." She asks "Yes!" Ginger and Max say.
"And the place in the prison where security is the weakest. Because normally the prisoners who attend this prison are not our size." Ginger says.
"We'll go together. If we fail, it's better to try than to spend another day here. I can't be trapped forever." Max sighs.
Lena looked at the plan and then at Max, her eyes filled with uncertainty. "Are you sure this will work?" she says.
"Lena, Stop doubting me. It has to work," Max said, the firmness in his voice infecting the girl. "It's now or never." He says.
The two super girls exchange glances filled with a mixture of determination and fear.

In the prison corridors, Oliver hides in the corners. He makes his way through the wings in search of Skylar's saddle without being noticed by the security guards.
He enters a side corridor, believing it to be an escape route, but soon realizes he is in a different wing, a space that seems to be more scientific and highly restricted.
The corridor is filled with technical equipment and security cameras, with several glass domes aligned along the walls.
Oliver, unsure of the exact nature of the place, moves cautiously through the shadows, looking for an exit.
He sees guards approaching and quickens his pace, entering the first room he finds, believing it to be where Skylar is. He enters and quickly closes the door, alerting the prisoner in the glass dome in the middle of the room.
The prisoner, upon noticing Oliver, lifts her head and observes him with interest. Their eyes meet through the glass. Without making a sound, she leans slightly forward, her expression of surprise and curiosity clearly visible.
Oliver, realizing he is being watched, stops for a moment. Their eyes lock, and he hesitates. "Oh S-sorry, I... I guess I got into the wrong wing," he laughs nervously, and the prisoner frowns.
The eye contact between them is intense, and for a moment, it seems the atmosphere around them changes. The young woman, without words, uses her gaze and a slight hand movement to communicate something to Oliver.
"Uh..." Oliver hears security troops walking through the halls. "Do you mind if I stay here for a while?" he asks the girl.
She approaches the glass. She tries to speak but quickly puts her hands on her neck in pain. The electronic collar on her blocks her voice. Oliver approaches the glass, intrigued.
The young prisoner is a figure of impressive delicacy. Her dark skin is radiant, and her deep gaze in her gentle brown eyes is imbued with softness.
✧ China Anne McClain as Noah ✧
Her movements are graceful and serene, like a princess, and she exudes an aura of calm and dignity even within the limitations of her imprisonment.
With a sincere look and an expression of curiosity, Oliver asks, "Are you okay? Is something wrong?" in a soft tone.
The girl shakes her head and points to the collar. "Oh, you can't talk?" he asks, and she nods.
The young prisoner observes Oliver with a gentle gaze and points to a file on a screen next to the dome.
Oliver frowns and looks at her. He goes to the screen and starts reading the file. "You're a mutant. With sound manipulation... is that why they limit your speech?" He glances at her. The girl gestures around. "And all the sounds inside the dome," he says, and she nods.
"Oh I'm so sorry" Oliver says. The girl sighs "I understand these things suck" he points to his own collar.
The girl points at him with a doubtful look. Oliver frowns and points at himself. "Me?" He says. The girl rolls her eyes.
She begins to make a specific sequence of gestures that Oliver quickly identifies as sign language. She asks, "Do you know sign language?"
"Oh uh Y-yeah" Oliver says gesturing in return, the girl gives a beautiful smile of relief.
"Are you a superhero?" She signs with clear, graceful movements. "Yes I am. I'm part of the Elite Force. Have you heard of it?" He asks her approaching the glass.
She tilts her head. "I heard the story. They say you guys are the reason everyone is here." She signs, Oliver nods "Is that true?"
"Not quite" He answers. The girl sighs "They say we're freaks. And that's why we're here" she signs. Oliver shakes his head in disapproval "Freaks don't deserve the outside world" she signs regretfully.
Oliver gasps "Is that what they tell you?" He asks "That's what life has shown me since i was born" she signs "Where You were raised?" Oliver asks.
"In a lab. They took me from an orphanage as a baby, they said I had mutated DNA. That as my age advanced, unpredictable abilities could arise." She signs. Oliver looks at her intrigued.
"Then they stimulated the cells to find out what my abilities would be. They said I was dangerous, kept me locked in that lab my whole life... that's as far as I've gotten," she signs, the signs becoming slower with the sadness present in the words.
Oliver sighs "Well. Know that you're not alone" he says, the girl scoffs "I'm serious. You have no idea how many heroes started out just like you" he leans against the glass.
"Heroes?" She signs "Yeah. Heroes who saved millions of lives and even the world several times" he says "The same heroes who are trapped here?" She asks.
"They all don't deserve to be here. Just like you and me" Oliver says, The girl sighs "There's no place for us here" she signs.
Oliver looks at the girl with pity "Look, I don't know what they did to you during your life. Or your story. But I'm sure you're not a freak" he says. The girl raises her head to look at him.
"You are something so extraordinary that they couldn't comprehend it. Something so incredible that it scares them," Oliver says and the girl softens her gaze towards him.
She frowns "Is that how you see me?" She signs "That's how the whole world should see you" he says with the purest intention of comforting a girl bitter about an unfair life.
She slowly lets out a smile at him "Trust me" Oliver puts his hand on the glass. The girl hesitates at first but decides to put her hand on the glass on the other side of his.
Oliver looks at their hands on the glass and then his gaze meets the girl's and he feels a rush come over him. He clears his throat and removes his hand from the glass.
She smiles. Oliver hears the sounds of the security guards' footsteps approaching. He knows time is short.
"Uh, can I at least know your name?" He asks. The girl smirks shyly and exhales on the glass. She writes the name "Noah" on the glass.
Oliver nods "Noah. It suits you" he smiles gently. Noah tucks her hair behind her ear "I'm Oliver by the way" he says. Noah nods.
"Will I see you again?" Noah signs "Hard to say but...I hope so" he smiles softly. He hears a loud bang "Uh sorry but...I have to go" Oliver says urgently moving away from the dome "See you"
Noah watches Oliver walk away, tries to call out to him. She approaches the glass, her gaze filled with a silent desire to hold him, but the collar that blocks her vocal cords prevents any sound from coming out.
Her lips move in a frustrated effort to speak, but no sound is heard. She tries desperately to signal, her gestures a mix of pleading and desperation.
Oliver, however, is focused on finding a way out and fails to notice Noah's silent signals. He walks forward, his gaze fixed straight ahead, determined to escape from then guards. The sound of police footsteps approaches, increasing the urgency of their escape.
As he rounds the last bend in the hallway and distances himself from Noah, Oliver doesn't look back. The decision is a mixture of necessity and determination, and he loses himself in the darkness of the hallway.
Noah, realizing he was gone, leans back against the dome, a deep sigh escaping her lips.
She closes her eyes for a moment, trying to process what she just felt. Something about Oliver awakened feelings she had never experienced before, a mixture of admiration and a strange sense of lack.
In a barely audible voice, just a whisper to herself, Noah murmurs the name "Oliver..."
Meanwhile, Oliver ran, knowing that he was being hunted by the guards. Until he reached a room at the back of the prison.
Oliver ducks behind a desk and sees police officers coming in and out of a room. In that room he sees the superhero and the supervillain who were previously causing a commotion in the cafeteria, tied to stretchers.
Oliver frowns intrigued "What the hell...?" He whispers to himself in confusion, watching two of the police officers manipulate a device. A familiar device.
They were carrying the device created by Chase and Harper to depower shape shifters when Rodissuis planned an attack.
"Impossible," Oliver says in disbelief, seeing that among the police officers there was a scientist who was helping with the device. While they kept the superhumans unconscious after the sound of the siren.
Oliver connects the dots, shaking his head in distress, and then runs away to warn Bree and Kaz.

"Elite Force Season 2 Episodes 1 and 2 the remach part 1 and 2. That's when Chase and Harper created that device to take down the shape shifters..." Gwen says recapping.
"And that bitch Reese" Glen adds "Now the cops are using the same device but adapted to remove the super powers of any super humans who oppose them" Gwen says worriedly.
"Exactly. This is not good... this was not mentioned in season 3" Glen frowns.
"It means we have to stop it. If this trend catches on...All we know is It's over, half of the superhumans will be extinct, not to mention that many draw their life force from super powers, their lives are in danger!" Gwen says, running her hand through her hair.
"So what are you waiting for, get us out of here!" Glen says "How?" Gwen says "Use your 'Script Convenience' power" Glen says, Gwen frowns.
"What do you mean? Like for script convenience I would have a clip in my hair that would open the saddle or something." Gwen scoffs reaching into her hair and pulling out a clip. Glen chuckles.
"I love your super power, Sis," he says, "Too bad it doesn't always work." She answers, going to the saddle rail.
Gwen puts the clip in the lock and opens the saddle "Yes!" Glen celebrates "Come on, we have to find Kaz, Bree and Oliver and warn them" Gwen says "Nice! Finally we get to interact with the protagonists!" Glen says excited and the two run away.

Bree and Kaz were in their cell. Which was the last cell in the hallway so in fact the most private of them.
Bree was zipping up their overalls while sitting on the edge of the bed while Kaz played with her hair. Bree turns to him and smiles "You're amazing," she said. Kaz sighs in love.
"I Know" he holds her face and kisses her firmly while she chuckles and rolls her eyes. That's when they hear footsteps approaching the saddle.
"Guys!" Oliver holds onto the railing, Kaz lets go of Bree's face and looks at his friend "Am I interrupting?" He asks "Pretty Much" Bree says annoyed.
"Dude, what are you doing outside your cell? The guards are going to find you any minute." Kaz walks up to him. "Long story, but I found out something terrible." Oliver says, agitated from the rush.
"What? Is Skylar okay?" Kaz asks worriedly and Oliver sighs "I hope so." He says "You didn't see her?" Bree asks "I couldn't get to the saddle. I got lost on the way but I ended up discovering something" he says.
Bree and Kaz approach the fence to hear Oliver's hushed tone "The cops are taking away the powers of the super humans who oppose them" he says.
"How?" Bree shakes her head. "With the device Chase and Harper created to take down the shape shifters." Oliver explains. "Wait. So they have access to the equipment at facility Y. And the weaponry of the Elite Force" Kaz says.
Oliver nods "On whose orders?" Bree says "I don't know. But I believe Bram is behind this. Maybe even out of the President's sight" Oliver theorizes.
"This is bad" Kaz says "It's worse than you can imagine" they turn in distress to the distinct voice that is approaching them. Gwen and Glen approach with determination.
"Who are you guys?" Oliver says "We're just two characters who will be important in the future but right now we're just going to make a cameo to captivate the audience" Glen grins and Gwen hits him on the arm.
"What?" Bree says "Oh! It's Bree Davenport herself" Glen has a fan fit holding his sister and shaking her "Can you please calm down?" Gwen says annoyed. Glen clears his throat.
"I'm Gwen and this is my brother. We saw the truck that brought the device that the police are using to remove super powers from humans," Gwen explains. Bree looks at Kaz in distress.
"And you're right, this is all Bram's scheme to get rid of superhumans behind the government and the world's back." Glen confirms. "I knew it." Oliver says.
"But we also know that your friends are in danger. Max, Ginger and Lena planned to escape tonight," Gwen says "What? But I told them it's dangerous!" Kaz says "They're kids, do you think they'll listen to you?" Glen raises an eyebrow.
Kaz shakes his head "There's no way they can get out of here without being seen. If we don't intervene, they'll be the next to lose their powers forever" Gwen says.
"We need to do something," Kaz says, "How? if they catch us we'll lose our powers or worse." Bree says. Glen and Gwen look at each other, realization taking over their eyes.
"Oh!" They say "Oh what? What does that "oh" mean?" Oliver frowns. Glen looks at Gwen who again takes the hairpin and opens Bree and Kaz's saddle.
Kaz raises his eyebrows in surprise and Bree gasps "Look. Let's just say our super power is being lucky" Gwen smirks "We can take you to the kids. And we can destroy the device," Glen says.
"You guys are going to get caught" Kaz says "Yeah. But there's no way they can take our powers away, there's no device that can take our powers away from us" Gwen says. Bree tilts her head in confusion.
"Our powers go far beyond our universe. If they're going to arrest and punish someone for standing up to them, it needs to be us, we'll be the least affected by it," Glen explains.
Kaz leans slightly towards Oliver "Is it just me or do these guys just talk nonsense?" He says "I'm still trying to figure out why they act like they've known us our whole lives" Oliver whispers.
"We've actually known you guys since 2013 when you guys found Mighty Med" Glen says "Yeah you guys were so little and cute" Gwen smiles.
They turn to Bree "And we've known you since 2012 when you were still living in a basement." Gwen smirks. Bree widens her eyes slightly and looks at the boys.
"But yeah, we pretty much know everything about you guys so don't be too surprised" Glen says "Come on we have work to do" Gwen claps her hands and walks away leaving the trio speechless.
"Who the fuck are you guys?" Kaz says indignantly as he, Oliver and Bree follow them.

Max and Ginger sat strapped into their saddles, feeling the tension in the air. The sound of approaching keys echoed through the cold, damp hallways.
When the police arrived, their voices were lighthearted, exchanging jokes about the transfer. Max and Ginger looked at each other, a silent understanding passing between them. It was now or never.
As the police began to pull them out, Max made a sudden movement, pushing one of the guards with all the strength he had "You didn't expect that from a child, did you?" The police officer lost his balance, colliding with the wall and falling to the ground.
Ginger wasted no time; he took advantage of the distraction and, with a quick and precise blow, took down the second guard. They are agile and silent, catching guards off guard.
Ginger crouched down and searched the fallen guard, her nimble hands finding the key.
"Come on, Lena!" she whispered, running toward her cell. Key in hand, she inserted it into the lock, The door opened slowly, creaking softly.
Lena looked at them, gratitude reflected in her eyes. "You did it!" she exclaimed, but the urgency in her tone caused everyone to fall silent. The other prisoners slept, oblivious to the scene that was unfolding.
Max, Lena, and Ginger exchanged anxious glances, their hearts pounding with fear. "We need to get out of here!" Max whispered urgently, eyes darting to the door.
They walk silently down the hallway. Max ahead glances quickly around the corner and sees police officers watching a football game on the monitor.
"There are two guys guarding the passage" He whispers "Cool let's throttle them!" Ginger says determined and Max the hold her back "Hey hold on! We're not going to go around throttling people" He says. Ginger rolls her eyes.
"So what's your plan?" Ginger says "Distraction" Max says "Cool let's throw a ball and see if they catch it, it's always worked for me" Lena says. Ginger and Max glare at her.
"We're not going to do that" Max says "Then I got nothing" Lena says "Okay, let's wait for them to get distracted." Ginger suggests.
Suddenly, a distant clattering echoed through the corridor. Max's heart raced as he recognized the sound: someone had dropped something in the adjacent room. The guards turned their heads, momentarily distracted.
"Now!" Max hissed, taking a deep breath. "It's our chance!"
They sprinted silently down the hallway, heartbeats pounding in sync. Just as they reached the corner, a loud shout rang out. One of the guards, alerted by the noise, turned to investigate.
"Run!" Ginger shouted, and they bolted toward the exit.
But just as they reached a door, a second guard appeared, blocking their escape. "Hey! Stop right there!" he barked, pulling out his radio.
Max felt a surge of adrenaline. "Go! Go! Go!" he yelled, pushing past Ginger and Lena, attempting to charge the guard.
In a blur of motion, Ginger lunged forward, aiming to tackle the guard from the side. But he sidestepped her, grabbing her arm and swinging her into the wall.
Lena screamed as chaos erupted. Max fought desperately, but the guard quickly overpowered him, grabbing his collar and yanking him backward.
"Got you!" the guard shouted, and just like that, their chance for freedom slipped away.
As they were dragged back into the hallway "No! Let me Go!!" Max shouts "Max!!" Ginger says scared and other guards appear to provide cover and take the kids away.

Max, Lena and Ginger get caught. Glen and Gwen sense this and immediately widen their eyes and look at each other "Fuck" Glen says "Oh No!" Gwen says.
"What?" Bree says "The kids got caught. They took them to the wing where the device is." Gwen says "Oh no, we need to act fast." Glen says "Oliver, where is the room?" Kaz asks.
Oliver looks around "This way" he points and everyone runs towards the hallway that leads to the room.
As they approach the door they hide behind stretchers and cabinets. "There it is" Kaz says. They see through the half-open door. Max, Lena, and Ginger strapped to stretchers, their faces pale and filled with fear. Bree's heart dropped.
"How can they do this to children" she says "I hope it's not too late" Oliver says "No, they haven't done anything to them yet" Glen reassures them.
"What's the plan?" Bree asks "Look, Glen and I are going to take them on you release the kids and get them back in their saddles. We'll take care of the rest." Gwen explains.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Oliver asks, Glen shrugs "Yeah. The author assures us we'll be okay. Otherwise we wouldn't do this crazy thing" Glen says "Speak for yourself, scaredy cat" Gwen says, Glen rolls his eyes.
"Okay...?" Bree frowns in confusion. "Anyway, be careful," she says.
Glen and Gwen exchanged a determined glance before approaching the corrupt police officers who stood guard and kicked the door open.
"Release the children now!" Glen commanded, his voice firm.
The officers exchanged skeptical looks, one of them sneering. "And what are you going to do about it?"
"Trust us, you don't want to find out," Gwen replied, her tone icy.
When they didn't move, Glen nodded to Gwen, as he spots a small radio on a nearby table. With a cheeky grin, he grabs it and presses play, filling the room with an upbeat pop song.
"Really, Glen?" Gwen rolls her eyes. "This isn't a dance party!"
"Oh, come on!" Glen replies, striking a pose. "I love to push my luck!"
With that, he launches into an exaggerated dance routine, using his moves to dodge punches and kick at the officers. He twirls, spins, all while keeping perfect rhythm with the music.
Gwen can't help but shake her head as she throws a powerful punch, sending an officer reeling. "Who do you think you are? Deadpool?!"
"Well. He is my muse!" Glen shoots back, seamlessly transitioning into a breakdancing move that takes out another officer's feet. The guard goes down with a yelp, and Glen strikes a victorious pose.
Meanwhile, Bree and Kaz rush to free Max, Lena, and Ginger. "Come on, we've got to get you out!" Bree says, yanking at the straps.
"Why are they dancing?" Max asks, bewildered.
"Just roll with it!" Kaz replies, finally getting the last strap loose "They are diagnosed crazy"
As they free the kids, Gwen continues her no-nonsense approach, landing powerful blows on any officer who dares to get too close. "Just get them out of here!" she calls over her shoulder, exasperated but secretly amused by Glen's antics.
Glen is now doing the robot, catching another officer off guard and sending him stumbling into a wall. "See? Effective!" he exclaims, before flipping over another officer and landing in a perfect split.
"Okay, that's impressive," Oliver admits, watching the spectacle unfold.
"Enough with the dancing!" Gwen shouts "Fine!" Glen holds one of the officers with super strength "Paul?" He frowns.
"How did you escape from your cell?" Paul says "It doesn't matter" Glen throws Paul against the wall and grabs the gun from one of the officers lying on the floor.
"Where's the device Paul!" He says through gritted teeth as he points the gun at Paul's face. Paul with a shaking hand points to a metal door at the back of the room "Thanks for being a useful extra" Glen smirk violently releasing Paul.
He goes to the door and takes the device out of a box "Gwen! Check this out" he says impressed. Meanwhile Oliver releases Lena from the stretcher "Okay let's get out of here" he says and everyone goes to the door.
Before leaving, the trio takes one last look at Glen and Gwen "Go!, we'll destroy this thing" Gwen says, going to her brother who looks at the device with a sparkle in his eyes.
"Aw really? Can't we keep it as a collector's item?" He says and Gwen snatches the device from his hand impatiently.
"Okay. Thanks for all the help," Bree says "Yeah, we owe you guys a lot," Max adds, and everyone nods in agreement.
"It was necessary so you can be heroes again in the future," Gwen says gently.
A flicker of hope shines in the group's eyes, but the moment shatters when the prison's emergency alarm blares to life.
"Go!" Glen shouts. They rush out of the room, leaving behind the device.
"Destroy that thing!" Gwen urges.
"Sorry, Chase, sorry, Harper, but your invention is..." Glen smashes the device into the ground, shattering it "...Gone" He sighs at the wreckage.
Gwen places a comforting hand on his shoulder as they hear the alarm's wail and footsteps closing in.
"What's our fate now?" Glen asks.
"We'll take the blame and go back to prison or the asylum, depending on how crazy they think we are," Gwen replies, and Glen nods in resignation.
"Well, we're the crazy ones who saved the protagonists from sinking deeper into trouble," Glen shrugs.
Gwen's eyes light up. "What?"
"I think I finally know how to use our powers meaningfully," she says, hope radiating from her.
"We can save the heroes," Glen realizes, and Gwen nods, squeezing his hand.
As they wait for the police to arrive, they remain steadfast, knowing they're about to change the course of history. They hope that Bree, Kaz, and Oliver will be safe-even if it means confinement.
Glen and Gwen understand that in less than a year, they will be rescued. Their act of heroism will be recognized in the not-so-distant future, and they're ready to embrace whatever comes next.

The next day, after everyone had returned to their cells and the transfers were complete, Bree and Kaz spot the trio of kids at one of the lunch tables. Bree slams her tray down, her frustration palpable.
"What were you guys thinking?!" she hisses, her voice low but seething with anger.
Lena and Ginger exchange glances while Max rolls his eyes.
"In our defense, everything would have gone fine if we hadn't gotten caught," Lena shrugs, eliciting a frown from Ginger.
Kaz shakes his head disapprovingly. "You were this close to losing your powers forever." He holds his fingers inches apart. "Do you have any idea how dangerous this is?"
"How were we supposed to know they had a machine like that?" Ginger retorts, her tone defensive.
"That's exactly the point!" Kaz replies firmly, silencing her. He takes a deep breath, his expression softening slightly. "Look, I'm not saying you're not capable, or that Max's plan is bad. It could have worked," he admits, glancing at Max.
"But you have to understand, we're living in a reality where even the most experienced superheroes aren't safe. There's no hiding from this world in these conditions." His words carry a weight that prompts Bree to place a comforting hand on his back.
"Our only hope is to stick together, okay?" Bree asserts, and the trio nods in agreement.
Just then, Oliver approaches, a wide grin on his face. "Hey, guys! Guess what!" He plops down at the table, and everyone turns to him expectantly.
"The government finds out about the device and the superhumans who lose their powers because of the chaos Glen and Gwen cause. They've arrested everyone involved," he announces.
"Really?" Bree asks, intrigued.
"Yeah, I overhear the lunch ladies gossiping. Apparently, a lot of people get taken in," Oliver replies.
Kaz frowns. "Do you hear if Bram is involved?"
"No. Even if he was, he wouldn't let himself be exposed," Oliver says.
Bree nods slowly, her unease creeping back. "And what about Glen and Gwen?" Kaz presses.
"Looks like they get taken to a prison specializing in psychiatric treatment," Oliver says, and Bree smirks slightly.
"Funny. After spending time with them, I don't think they're that crazy," she remarks.
"Yeah, everything they say makes about 80% sense," Kaz adds, his brow furrowing in thought.
Max shakes his head in disbelief. "I still can't believe they do that."
"They save us, and a lot of other superhumans who ware about to lose their powers," Ginger points out, a hint of admiration in her voice.
"We owe them," Bree says. Oliver glances at the unguarded door. "Are you going to try to see Skylar again?" Kaz asks, putting his arm around Bree.
Oliver stares down the hallway, Kaz frowns "Oliver" he says "What? Who?" Oliver snaps back to reality.
"Skylar. Your girlfriend." Bree says. Oliver clears his throat. "Oh yeah. Uh...I guess I'd better let things cool off for now. I trust she's okay." He says and takes the glass of juice from Kaz's tray.
Kaz and Bree exchange a confused look. Kaz kisses Bree's forehead and she strokes his chin.
"They're going to come save us" He whispers to her "I know. They're on their way. I can feel it" she says with a gentle smile and a twinkle in her eyes.
The Elite Force trio stayed, forging a deep connection with the children who had the potential to become great heroes once released from prison.
Amidst a mix of hope and fear, the children grappled with their distress and a yearning for the lives they once knew.
