There's someone in my house. I know this because I was staring at it. Yes, that's right it. I didn't particularly know what it was obvious, but it had what looked like elf ears, kind of sparkly blue skin color, long black shiny hair, it was small, definitely shorter than me, maybe 4'9 if I approximate. It was wearing a white flowy gown that looked soft to touch, with intricate floral designs. Then it looked at me and both of us just stood there staring at each other, it with its bluish-green eyes and me with my purple eyes. Then it spoke,

"You're back, good we have to go." Its voice sounded feminine so I assumed it was a she.

She came towards me with an air of authority with a gesture that said she was about to grip my hand but I moved back before she could touch me.

"Who are you," I shook my head, "no, what are you, and how did you get into my apartment?" I asked me a calm and steady voice, not showing any ounce of fear that I had at the moment.

"I knew this wouldn't be as easy as I thought it would be," she sighed and said to herself before she answered my question, "I am Sephora, to answer your other question I'm an elf, you can probably already tell by the ears anyway," she rolled her eyes, "and we must leave before they get here." She moved towards me again but I moved away.

"Who is coming here?" I asked, slowly moving towards the knife I kept under the kitchen table hoping she wouldn't really suspect what I was doing but she destroyed that hope before I could even get to the knife.

"You are looking for the knife, it is no longer there. While you were out I predicted all possible actions that could happen when you got back so, all weapons hide in the house have been destroyed." She said almost smugly.

I stopped my movement, looked at her, and moved towards her this time, "destroyed how?"

"I melted them."

"You melted my knives and guns," I said calmly but you could hear the anger sipping through my words.

"Well yes it had to be done, and besides you won't need then where you are going." This time she walked into my bedroom and came back out with a tiny suitcase.

"And where exactly are we going?"

"To the Kingdom of Heylrim," this time I let her grab my hand and, "know please do not let go of my hand or worst-case scenario, you might die."

"But I still have some questions."

That's when I heard it, people screaming at the top of their lungs, you could literally hear the cry for desperate help from it.

"What going on down there?" I moved towards my window to check but she forcefully held me back, not letting me move an inch from her side.

She turned to face me, "they are here, we must leave now or we will both die. I will explain when we get to our destination, they won't be able to reach us there...at least not for a while."

By this time, what looked like a portal opened up in front of us. When it was fully opened we stepped into.

"Elizabeth," she said to me, " you trust no one when we get there, even when it seems like it's me, do you understand?" Although it was a question it seemed more like a statement. I nodded in response and then we fully entered the portal. The last thing I saw was my door being torn off its hinges flying all the way across the room, it all happened so fast, and then I saw what look like green slime entering into the room, there were a lot of them. They rushed towards us, but before they could grab my hand the portal closed up and then I heard a voice in my head, it said: "I will find you where ever you go, just wait for me."

I gasped our of surprise and responded saying, "who are you?"

"Someone you should know." The voice almost sounded smug like it knew way more than I could ever know, it probably did but at that very moment, I knew my whole life was about to change, even more than it did when I found out about my powers.
