In the Kingdom of Shinōkoku...

There Lariel and the Royal Guardians stood. The big wooden brown gates of Shinōkoku. This had took them a few hours to get there. Now, it's almost noon and the schedule says they're going to have lunch.

Luckily, their journey stops by their destination. Their faces were now plastered with seriousness.

"I hope you can handle things there since it's your home," Billie told Bashiri.

You could see her lips stretching out a slight smirk on her face. Her eyes were now in contact with Billie as she let out a light chuckle with her mouth closed. "Don't worry, Billie. I'll get us through. I promise."

"Of course. Since you're a wise and well-trained ninja after all," said Rover.

"You know I'm not as wise as the future king of the Leone Kingdom," said Bashiri, her eyes gesturing to Leo.

"Exactly. Not only that, but he'll continue protecting the Leone Kingdom as leader of the Royal Guardians," stated Lariel.

Leo let out a light chuckle hearing the girls' words. "You don't have to do that. I was only fulfilling my two destinies."

"Of course!" replied Lariel.

With that being said, you could hear Bashiri's footsteps approaching the gates. Her hand reached for the ring-shaped door-knocker and banged the gate with it.

After three bangs, Bashiri took a few steps backwards and she waited.

After a while, the gates were pulled open to reveal the chief of the Shinōkoku. No, it's not the chief. It's another female white German Shepherd Dog with a GI similar to Bashiri's. And by the delightful smile on her face, they could tell it was Bashiri's mother.

"My kunoichi daughter! It's so good to see you again!" she said opening her arms.

"Me too, mom," said Bashiri wrapping her arms around her.

"What does kunoichi mean?" Rover asked whispering to the others.

"A kunoichi is a female ninja or practitioner of ninjutsu," answered Intellilzo.

After a few moments of hugging, they broke away. Bashiri still had a smile on her face when her mother's eyes made contact with the others. "Are those your friends?"

Bashiri nodded in response, then she started introducing them to her mother and vice versa. "Everyone, meet my mother, Blossom. Mother, these are my friends, Lariel, Rover or Nixue Spage as we're supposed to call him, Intellizo, Billie Orson and—"

"Leonir the Lion. Future king of the Leone Kingdom and leader of the Royal Guardians," Blossom finished for her.

"Finally, some recognition," said Rover.

Bashiri rolled her eyes playfully before her facial expression turned to a serious one. "We need your help," she told her mother.

"What happened?" Blossom asked her in concern.

"I think it's best if we talk to the emperor about it personally."

"Very well then. I'll lead you guys to the Royal family, then I'll leave you guys to talk about important business with them," said Blossom with a smile on her face. That's when she gestured the others to follow her. And so, they did.

You could hear a light chuckle escaping Bashiri's mouth. "You don't have to do that, mother."

"Oh no, I insist."

With that being said by Blossom, the doors closed behind them.

In the Imperial Palace of Shinōkoku, there were three thrones standing before them. Sitting on the thrones was the royal family themselves.

Right at the center was a red anthropomorphic chameleon with dark green eyes and peach muzzle. He's wearing the traditional Longpao that exposes his chest part at the very center. Its color is rather green with the stripes and patterns being dark green. Same goes with his emperor flats.

On his right side sat a female brown anthropomorphic chameleon with light green eyes and also has peach muzzle. She has an outfit similar to the red chameleon's except that her chest was never exposed and her main color was rather chartreuse with the secondary color being green itself.

On the other side was what they could assume is their only daughter. She's a maroon anthropomorphic chameleon with green eyes. She was wearing a light green Longpao with the edges and patterns being green itself.

You could see that each of them have the ninja symbol on their left side of the chest. This symbol highly represents what their kingdom is like.

Once the Royal family was on sight, Blossom was the first to bow in respect and speak. "In the honor of the royal family, I have brought guests in Shinōkoku for something important."

"No need to go with the formalities, Blossom. You are free to act as yourself," said the red chameleon.

"Very well, Kader," said Blossom taking a few steps back.

You could see the maroon chameleon and Bashiri with smiles on their faces as their eyes made a friendly contact with each other.

"It's great to see you again, Bashiri," said the maroon chameleon.

"It's great to see you, too, Destinee," replied Bashiri.

"Now, I'm leaving these guys to you. You have important business to talk about."

"Very well. You can go now, Blossom," said the emperor known as Kader.

With that being said, Blossom walked her way out of the palace.

"Now, state your names and business," said Kader. "Except for you, Bashiri. We all know who you are."

Bashiri nodded and bowed respectfully in response.

They all bow in respect as they each introduced themselves to the royal family.

"I'm Nixue Spage the Lizard, but my close friends call me 'Rover.'"

"I'm Billie Orson the Panda, close friend of Bashiri's."

"I'm Intellizo the Corgi, the intelligent royal wizard-in-training of the Leone Kingdom."

"I'm Lariel the Lioness, provider of the orphanage."

"And I'm Leonir the Lion, prince of the Leone Kingdom, future king and leader of the team known as the Royal Guardians. But my friends call me 'Leo.'"

"So you're the first Royal Guardians to pass the tests in the secret cave?" asked the brown chameleon.

"Indeed, we are, Evangeline. We are here for an important mission and to learn the new step on becoming better Royal Guardians," answered Bashiri.

"You mean unlocking the roles as the Royal Guardians? Hmm... How about we talk about it in the royal dining room? It's almost three past noon," said Kader.

They all nodded in response as Lariel, the Royal Guardians and the royalfamily walked their way towards the dining room.
