"Ah, look who's here," the shadowy figure said.

Runa stopped as her eyes widened in surprise, but her heart pounded in horror. Multiple shaky breaths escaped her mouth. Her mind felt blank as she tried to process what she just heard.

Runa witnessed the shadowy figure standing up from the chair. Then, the figure walked around the chair.

Once the figure walked to the back to the chair, she walked towards Runa. When she did, a couple of glitches were noticed. Runa's eyes widened even more as she realized.

That's me. The other me, Runa thought. But from which dimension?

Right after Runa thought that, the other Runa came to a stop.

Silence filled the air. It took a few minutes until Runa asked, "Who... Who are you? Which dimension... are you from?"

The other Runa let out a laugh. Witnessing his, Runa was confused. Once laughter died down, the other Runa responded, "It's funny, really? I should ask you the same thing."

Runa tried to force her words out, but she was as silent as a stone. Even after she found out that the mobian she just encountered was the other Runa, her mind still felt blank.

It took another few minutes until the other Runa continued, "Well..." She walked towards her right. "...allow me to introduce myself." She stopped and turned to Runa. "I am you, but from a different dimension." She paused. Then, she walked towards her left as she continued, "I am in the dark version of Mobius. One where Leo turned into a tragic villain after Lariel got killed."

As the other Runa said the last part, she stopped and turned to Runa.

"In other words, I'm in what I call in short... 'Dark Mobius,'" the other Runa said.

Dark Mobius... Runa, Runa thought.

"What do you want? Why did you come here?" Runa asked.

The other Runa — now known as Dark Mobius Runa — walked back to the center as she spoke. "I think it's best..." She paused. Then, she stopped and turned to Runa.

An evil smirk tugged at Dark Mobius Runa's lips. "...if you figure it out yourself."

Right after Dark Mobius Runa said this, glitches surrounded her.

A bad gut-feeling overtook Runa. This forced her to snap herself back to reality. And that's exactly what she did.

Runa formed her fighting position and readied herself to fight Dark Mobius Runa.

Dark Mobius Runa charged at Runa. Once she got to her, the two clashed against each other.

Dark Mobius Runa launched a forward punch against Runa's face, but it was deflected by the latter's arms. Runa had formed a cross with her arms to block Dark Mobius Runa's forward punch.

Right after she felt the impact, Runa pushed Dark Mobius Runa back. This sent Dark Mobius Runa stumbling backwards, but she managed to regain her balance.

Runa closed the door, so that she won't be pushed out of Timothy's office. While that happened, Dark Mobius Runa panted for breath.

Then, a few moments later, Dark Mobius Runa charged at Runa again.

This time, Dark Mobius Runa delivered a roundhouse punch at Runa's left temple. Runa ducked and sent her a hard kick to the stomach.

"Aagh!" Dark Mobius Runa exclaimed.

Dark Mobius Runa's hands moved to her stomach where she got hit. A decent amount of glitches surrounded her as she kneeled on the ground.

"Aagh," she reacted.

Witnessing this, Runa's eyes widened in realization. That's it! Although...

Dark Mobius Runa slowly rose onto her feet.

...I figured out this solution that fast... didn't I?

Once Dark Mobius Runa got back on her feet, she formed her fighting position ad she panted for breath.

No. Don't think too much, Runa, Runa thought. She formed her fighting position as she continued her thoughts, Focus on the fight.

With that being thought, Runa's eyes stared into Dark Mobius Runa's with caution. She waited for the next move Dark Mobius Runa was about to give to her.

After a few minutes, Dark Mobius Runa charged at Runa again.

Dark Mobius Runa launched a kick towards Runa's chin, but it was blocked by Runa's hands. Runa pushed Dark Mobius Runa's foot down and launched a two-fist punch on her forehead and her stomach. Unfortunately, each fist was blocked by Dark Mobius Runa's hands.

Dark Mobius Runa pushed Runa towards the exit door of Timothy's office. Runa stuck her feet to the ground and tried to resist Dark Mobius Runa's strength, but the squeaks she heard while her boots slid on the floor proved to her that it wasn't enough.

An evil smirk appeared on Dark Mobius Runa's face as she saw that Runa was close to the door.

Once Runa realized that she was too close to the door, she knew she had to push Dark Mobius Runa, even though the latter night be stronger than her.

And so, Runa let out a groan and pushed Dark Mobius Runa forward.

Runa let out a yell. Her feet slowly moved forward. First, her right foot. Then, her left foot. Then, her right foot again, then, so forth.

Once Runa and Dark Mobius Runa got to the middle of Timothy's office, Dark Mobius Runa pushed Runa further. Her feet moved forward, causing Runa to stumble backwards.

After a few steps, Dark Mobius Runa made a hard push. This caused Runa to stumble backwards.

Soon, Runa's back hit the door. Runa could feel the painful impact on her back, but it's not severe.

Runa formed her fighting position and glared at Dark Mobius Runa.

Dark Mobius Runa charged towards Runa again. Once she got to her, punches and kicks were thrown at each other.

Soon after, Runa felt a roundhouse kick on her left temple.

"Aagh!" Runa exclaimed.

Runa's hands moved to her left temple where she got hit. Before doing anything else, she felt a kick to the stomach. Her right hand moved to her stomach where she got hit. Before doing anything else, she felt a sweep going through her feet. This caused Runa to land on the right side of her body.

Runa slowly attempted to get herself back on her feet, but due to the pain in her stomach and her left temple, she couldn't.

Runa saw Dark Mobius Runa walking towards her. This gave her the motivation to push herself back on her feet. She rolled over her body, so her belly faced the ground. Her palms laid on the ground and she pushed herself up. Her right foot was almost on the ground when she saw Dark Mobius Runa raising her fist with an evil smirk.

Dark Mobius Runa launched a punch towards Runa. Runa closed her eyes tightly and turned away, wating for the impact to come to her. But nothing came.

A few seconds later, Runa opened her eyes and turned to Dark Mobius Runa. Her eyes widened in surprise as she was face-to-face with two familiar figures. On the left was Shadow, but not the Shadow from her dimension. Beside him was... another Runa, but not Dark Mobius Runa.

Shadow and the third Runa blocked the punch Dark Mobius Runa was about to give to Runa with their forearms.

As Runa witnessed it, her eyes widened in shock. Shadow? And... another me? Last time I saw Shadow, he was in Lariel's guest bedroom. Perhaps that could be Shadow from another dimension?

It took a few minutes before Shadow and the third Runa pushed Dark Mobius Runa away from them.

Dark Mobius Runa's back landed on the chair's back. Then she slid on the ground and fell on her butt. Because the chair was made of marble, Dark Mobius Runa felt a slight crack on her backbone. As a result, multiple glitches surrounded her body.

The third Runa and Shadow turned to Runa.

"Are you alright?" the third Runa asked as she lent Runa a hand.

Runa glanced at the hand, then at the third Runa. Then. She glanced back at the hand. It took a few moments before Runa's hand reached the third Runa's. Then, Runa pulled herself on her feet.

Runa dusted off her dress as she replied, "I'm fine. Thanks."

Runa turned to Shadow and the third Runa. "What dimension are you guys in?"

"We came from a dimension where I used to rule as King of Mobius. That's is until Sonic took back the throne and Lara-Su stopped me via Chaos Control," Shadow answered.

"Five years later, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters took down Tikhaos with the help of his children, Sonia and Manik Acorn," the third Runa answered. "Then, a few months later, Shadow redeemed himself thanks to the other Runa he had encountered."

Once she heard the last sentence, Runa's eyes widened in realization. Sparkles appeared in her eyes as she gasped. As the third Runa and Shadow explained further, a thought ran through her head.

So that means... they're from the dimension where fate was testing me? Runa thought.

After what it felt like a few minutes passed, Runa managed to snap herself back to reality.

The next things she heard were from Runa, "—otherwise known as Light Mobius."

Runa's eyes widened more. "Light... Mobius."

"Yes... um, other... me," the third Runa — now known as Light Mobius Runa — said in a confused tone. "Light Mobius."

Should I? Runa thought. Should I tell Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow that I'm the Runa he encountered?

Runa's surprised state turned into a smile. Well, maybe after the big crisis is finished. Completely.

Runa held out her hands. One towards Light Mobius Runa and another towards Light Mobius Shadow.

"It's nice to meet you two," Runa said.

"Same to you," Light Mobius Shadow said as he and Light Mobius Runa reached their hands towards Runa's. Then, they shook hands.

Just then, Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow heard a grunt. They turned to see Dark Mobius Runa getting back on her feet.

Dark Mobius Runa's right foot landed on the ground. Then, she pushed herself up. After a few seconds, her left foot finally landed on the ground.

Dark Mobius Runa continued pushing herself until she's fully back on her feet.

As the whole scene happened, multiple glitches surrounded Dark Mobius Runa. Again.

As Dark Mobius Runa started forming her fighting position, Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa formed their fighting positions. Their eyes were filled with caution as they waited for Dark Mobius Runa to make a move.

Dark Mobius Runa fully formed her fighting position. She glared at Runa and Light Mobius Runa. But when her eye landed on Light Mobius Shadow, concern washed over her. She let out a couple of breaths, then more breaths became heavier. The first thing that impacted her heart was to hug Shadow and wait for him to give her a kiss, but for some reason, her mind took over her and she decided on one thing.

"Let's finish this," she said.

With that, Dark Mobius Runa charged towards Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow. In return, they charged towards her. Once they got to each other, they clashed.

Lariel's Guest Bedroom, Sky Patrol

Cream and Junior looked at Lariel with worry and concern in their eyes, but they managed to form different expressions. For Cream, it was a reassuring smile. For Junior it was determination.

Lariel let out multiple breaths as pain continued to wash over her due to the point that she was one step closer to giving birth.

"It's okay, Queen Lariel. You're doing okay," Cream said.

Junior nodded with a hum.

Then, Junior turned to Shadow, Bubbles and Big, who were still fighting against the robots. He also noticed Rosy and Cheese helping out, as Cream and Junior told them to help minutes after they recovered from exhaustion and pain.

Junior stared at Shadow in concern. Shadow was seen kicking one of the robots. Then, he turned to his right and laid a forward punch at another robot.

Seconds passed since then and Junior hardly changed his expression. Soon, his concerned expression changed into a determined one. As that happened, he nodded with a hum.

Junior turned to Lariel. "Shadow... work hard."

Lariel and Cream turned to Junior in surprise. "Huh?"

"Big... work hard. Bubbles... work hard. Cheese... work hard. Rosy... work hard," Junior said. Then, he turned to Cream. "Cream... work hard."

"O-Okay. Thank you, Junior," Cream said, still surprised.

Junior nodded with a hum. Then, he turned to Lariel and reached his right fist in her direction. "Lariel... work hard, too."

Lariel's eyes widened. For some reason, a heartwarming feeling occurred in her.

"Jus keep bweating," Junior said.

Lariel knew what Junior meant the minute he said that. Just keep breathing. At that moment, she gave him a warm and grateful smile. "Thanks, Junior. I'll keep breathing."

Junior's determined expression turned into a close-eyed, open-mouthed smile. He let out a small laugh.

Cream smiled at the moment between Junior and Lariel.

Main Room, The Temple of the End of Time

Sonic, Amy, Tails, Shania, Silver, Aleyah and Intellizo were still fighting the robots. Punches, kicks, spindashes, whacks and other abilities were involved.

Amy jumped as she whacked another robot with her Piko Piko Hanmer. It took a few whacks until the robot became damaged.

Amy turned behind her to take down another robot. As it happened, her ankle twisted and pain exploded from it.

"Ow!" she exclaimed.

A pained expression appeared on Amy's face and heavy breaths escaped her mouth. Right after this, she tried calling out to the rest of Team C. Unfortunately, they were busy focusing on the fight.

And so, Amy decided to keep fighting, even though she knew she sprained her ankle. Whacks from her Piko Piko hammer were done here and there. Amy kept up her determination, but on the inside, she was concerned about the ankle and she knew she had to be careful. But the more she fought, the more painful she had in her ankle.

Realizing Amy couldn't keep up the fight anymore, she turned to Sonic, who was busy spindashing against the robots. "Sonic! SOOOONI—OW!!!!!!"

Amy was cut short by a robot kicking her on the back. This led her tumbling forward, but she managed to regain her balance. She turned behind her to see one of the robots.

"Hey! Watch it!" Amy exclaimed, glaring at the robot.

Amy let out a battle cry as she whacked the robot who just hit her. After she whacked the robot, she jumped and whacked another. When she landed on the ground, more pain exploded on her ankle.

Hearing Amy's last scream prompted Sonic to stop spindashing and turn to her. His eyes widened in worry. And so, after taking down several robots with his apindashing, he sped towards Amy. As he did, words from Billie ran through his head.

"It gives you the feeling that you want to be with someone and be there for her no matter what happens. You also don't want that person to get hurt," Billie said.

Billie was right, Sonic thought. Maybe I do have these feelings for Amy. I just gotta find the right time to tell her how I feel.

Once he stopped, Sonic turned to Amy in worry. "Amy, are you okay?!"

"No, I'm not. I sprained my ankle," Amy answered.

Sonic's eyes widened in shock. "What?!"

Sonic turned to his communicator and topped it a few times. "Don't worry, Ames. I'm gonna contact, Sal."

"Sonic—" Amy said.

"Just a minute, Amy. After I get contact with Sal, I'll—"

Sonic was cut short when Amy's hand laid on Sonic's shoulder. "No, Sonic! I really have to tell you something! Just in case Leo's plan doesn't go well!"

"Alright, Amy. Spill it," Sonic said.

"Sonic!" Amy said with tears of plead. "I love you!"

Sonic was stunned. His mind was spinning as he tried to process what he just heard. "Wow... A-Amy, I... I didn't know what to say."

Just then, metallic footsteps rang in Sonic's and Amy's ears. They turned to see a robot coming towards them.

Sonic glared at the robot and spindashed towards it. This caused the robot to be damaged. When he landed on the ground, he turned to Amy with determination on the outside and worry on the inside. "Come on, Ames."

Sonic wrapped his left hand around Amy's back while his right hand wrapped around the back of her knees. He lifted her in his arms and pulled her close to him.

"Eep!" Amy said as she felt herself being lifted up.

"Let's get back to the Sky Patrol! You need some medical assistance," Sonic said.

Amy knew Sonic would speed himself towards he Sky Patrol. And so, she wrapped her arms around Sonic's neck and buried her head on his chest. Sonic glanced at Amy and smiled warmly. A tint of blush appeared on his cheeks.

A split second later, Sonic turned straight ahead and a determined expression appeared on his face.

"Alright! Here we go!" Sonic exclaimed.

With that, Sonic sped his way out of the Temple of the End of Time, with Amy in his arms.

Upon seeing this, the rest of Team C turned to Sonic and Amy.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Intellizo asked.

But it's too late to receive an answer. Sonic and Amy already disappeared outside the Temple of the End of Time.

With Amy in his arms, Sonic dodged the attacks given to them by he robots outside the Temple of the End of Time. As it happened, Team E turned to them in shock.

"Sonic, what happened?" Billie asked.

"Ames got injured, Billie!" Sonic answered. "Can you get in contact with Sal, so that we can be fetched to the Sky Patrol?"

"Sure. No problem," Billie said.

With that, Sonic gave Billie a smile and a friendly wink as a way to say "thank you" silently. Billie gave Sonic a nod and a smile.

Sonic and Amy disappeared from Billie's sight. Billie turned to his communicator and tapped it a few times.

Meeting Room, Sky Patrol

"Sally? Sally!" Billie said via the communicator.

Sally glanced at the computer as she, Leo, Solomon and Monkey Khan fought the robots. Once she saw Billie's face on the screen, concern appeared in her eyes.

Sally tapped the communicator and spoke while fighting the robots. "Billie, what's your status?"

"It's not actually my status, Sally. In fact, it's Amy's status," Billie answered.

"I see. What happened to Amy?" Sally asked.

"She got injured and Sonic is carrying her to the Sky Patrol! Can you send someone to get them?" Billie asked.

Outside the Temple of the End of Time

"Yes, of course. I just need to get in contact with Team D," Sally said via the communicator.

Billie gave Sally a smile and a thumbs up. "You got it!"

With that, Billie and Sally hung up. Then, Billie shifted his focus to fighting the robots.

The Bridge, Sky Patrol

As Rotor kept fighting the robots, Hope reached her left index finger to the earpiece given to her by Sally. In front of her eyes was the screen of Sonic carrying Amy bridal style after discovering that she sprained her ankle.

"Sally, Amy has a sprained ankle," Hope said.

"I know. Billie told me. Can you send someone to get Amy and Sonic?" Sally said. "We need the extra hand."

"I'm on it," Hope said.

With that, Hope and Sally hung up.

Meanwhile, with Sonic and Amy...

After a little while of speeding himself up with Amy in his arms, Sonic finally came to a stop. He looked up with a grateful smile on his face.

"Whew! Finally!" Sonic exclaimed.

Sonic and Amy were face-to-face with the Sky Patrol. Apart from that, a blue plane flew towards them. Sitting inside the plane was Hope. She looked at them with a smile on her face.

Hope had left the bridge to get Sonic and Amy. With the help of Rotor, she was able to get to the spare plane quicker. Now, the captain's chair was left under the command of Schlemmer.

"Thanks for your hand, Hope," Sonic said.

A few hours later...
Timothy's Office, The Temple of the End of Time

Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa fought alongside each other against Dark Mobius Runa.

Runa launched a forward punch at Dark Mobius Runa. Dark Mobius Runa ducked and launched a roundhouse punch at Runa's right waist. Runa grasped her wrist tightly before sending a kick to the stomach.

Pain erupted on Dark Mobius Runa. She stumbled backwards, but she managed to regain her balance. As it happened, more glitches surrounded her.

It took Dark Mobius Runa a few moments before she formed her fighting position again. Despite that, multiple glitches still surrounded her.

Light Mobius Runa launched a roundhius kick on Dark Mobius Runa's left temple, but she blocked it with her left forearm. Dark Mobius Runa landed a punch on Light Mobius Runa's chest, but she blocked it with her free hand. Then, Light Mobius Runa jumped and gave Dark Mobius Runa a two-legged kick on the stomach.

Dark Mobius Runa stumbled backwards. Her body almost collapsed, but she managed to resist. She formed her fighting position and she was about to charge at Light Mobius Runa when suddenly...

"Chaos Control!" Light Mobius Shadow said.

At the split second, Dark Mobius Runa felt a kick on her face. She stumbled backwards. This time. She fell on her butt.

Dark Mobius Runa held her nose in pain. As she did so, she turned to see who caused that kick.

Light Mobius Shadow stood before Dark Mobius Runa. His right hand clenched as he gave her deathly glaring daggers.

Dark Mobius Runa slightly blushed, but fear also occurred in her. More glitches surrounded her. "N-N-Nice sh-sh-shot," she said as if her voice was buggy.

As it happened, a different face showed up, but it immediately went back to Dark Mobius Runa.

Light Mobius Shadow's eyes widened at the sight. He knew there's a different face, but he couldn't catch any details. With that, he turned to Light Mobius Runa and Runa.

"Runa, other Runa," Shadow said, with the "other Runa" referring to Runa and not Light Mobius Runa. "There's a different face behind Dark Mobius Runa. It's possible it might be a fake."

"I see," Light Mobius Runa said, nodding.

Then, Runa's right hand moved to her chin as she thought about it. "Now that I think about it, it makes sense as to why Dark Mobius Runa is having glitches all the time. Timothy told me that, too."

"Timothy?" Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa asked in unison.

"I'll explain later," Runa said. She laid her hand down, and turned to Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa. "For now, let's focus on fighting Dark Mobius Runa."

Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa nodded. "Right."

With that, Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Shadow turned to Dark Mobius Runa to check her condition.

Dark Mobius Runa grunted as she slowly rose onto her feet. Once she's on her feet, she formed her fighting position again. She let out heavy breaths as she glared at Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Loght Mobius Runa. She let out heavy breaths, but it's not out of rage. Rather, it's out of hesitation.

Runa felt that presence. Confusion appeared on her face, but she knew she had to focus on the fight. She, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow formed their fighting positions and prepared themselves to fight Dark Mobius Runa.

Dark Mobius Runa charged at Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow. Then, vice versa. Once they got to each other, they clashed again.

Punches, kicks and Chaos powers were delivered to Dark Mobius Runa. Dark Mobius Runa dodged most of them, but she received hits from a couple of them. That included Shadow's Chaos Powers.

Just then, someone swooped between Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa, and Dark Mobius Runa. Her hands reached horizontally. One towards the trio of hedgehogs and another towards Dark Mobius Runa. All were surprised as they backed off.

That someone had red dreadlocks, pink bangs on the front, a matching braid on the right, peach skin and violet eyes. She was wearing black vest with a collar and light trim, a matching shirt, a belt with a silver circle at the center and white collar. She also wore black boots with gray laces and white gloves. Her braid was sometimes tied with black bands. She even wore glasses.

The female echidna turned to each side in worry. "Guys, stop! Let me handle this!"

The moment after Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow saw the female echidna's features, their eyes widened in realization.

Lara-Su? Runa thought.

"Lara? Why did you come here?" Light Mobius Runa asked.

Lara-Su got provoked by the name Light Mobius Runa had called her, but she managed to regain her composure. She turned to her with a slight glare. "I am not Lara-Su. I'm Jani-Ca."

Jani-Ca? Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa thought. Is that her codename for travelling to a different dimension? Or has something significantly changed her?

Lara-Su — now known as Jani-Ca — turned to Dark Mobius Runa. Her slight glaring expression turned into worry and concern. "I know you're in there, Runa. You have to fight it."

Confusion appeared on Runa's, Light Mobius Shadow's and Light Mobius Runa's face immediately. Wait, what?

The Bridge, Sky Patrol

Hope had gotten back to the Bridge after she fetched Amy and Sonic. Now, she sat on the captain's chair and continued to play her role in Team D.

As Rotor continued dealing with the robots, Hope spotted something on one of the screens in front of her. Her eyes widened in surprise.

"Huh?" Hope reacted.

What she saw in the screen was Jani-Ca, saying something to Dark Mobius Runa. Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow stood there, confused.

"There's a new mobian in there?" Hope asked, referring to Jani-Ca.

Timothy's Office, Temple of the End of Time

More glitches surrounded Dark Mobius Runa. This time, it took more time than the previous times Runa saw them.

Grunts escaped Dark Mobius Runa's mouth as she kneeled to the ground. Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow slightly backed away in surprise.

"What's happening?" Light Mobius Runa asked.

"Someone's possessing her," Jani-Ca said.

Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa turned to Jani-Ca in shock. "She is?" they asked in unison.

"Yes. She is," Jani-Ca said. She turned from Dark Mobius Runa to Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa. "In our dimension, Runa had a purpose she had to fulfill: 'To become Shadow's Guardian.'"

Runa's and Light Mobius Runa's eyes widened. Just like how I protect my Shadow.

"But then, something happened, which made Shadow distance himself from Runa. She tried to build a connection with him and help him with whatever problem he's having, but every time she did so, she failed.

"When Runa and Shadow finally started to make a connection, a cavern they were staying in started to crumble. Runa escaped, but Shadow sacrificed himself to save her.

"Runa grieved for him. I tried to talk to her, but it wasn't enough. I don't wan to cause a fight, so I left her be. Then, the next day, she was gone.

"I tried looking for Runa, but then, many portals scattered all over our dimension. I was sucked in one of them and I landed here. I was given a challenge by Tenzia and I completed it. As a result, I went inside the Temple of the End of Time and stayed with Timothy. It didn't take long before I went out to look for Runa.

"When I realized that Runa was in the Temple of the End of Time, I went back there. When I arrived, I saw you three fighting her. Then, I noticed by the glitches and a different face that someone was possessing her. And the rest is history."

Runa, Light Mobius Shadow and Light Mobius Runa were speechless. It took a few moments before Runa explained the whole story. From the time she first discovered the portals to now.

After that, Light Mobius Runa explained, "My Shadow and I have been dating for months. Then, we discovered portals scattering all over our dimension. Everyone and everything is being sucked into the portals. As a result, King Sonic sent Shadow on the mission to find out who caused this disaster."

"Runa wanted to come with me because she wanted to fulfill the purpose of being my guardian. I protested at first, but after she kept convincing me, I agreed," Light Mobius Shadow said.

"And so, we went on a mission to find out who caused the disaster. Eventually, we came here and we saw another Runa fighting... well, your Runa, Jani-Ca," Runa said. "Your Runa looked like she was a sinister one. So Shadow and I had to stop her and save this Runa." As she said the last part, Light Mobius Runa gestured to Runa.

"We fought alongside each other against Dark Mobius Runa. It didn't take long before we saw a different face," Light Mobius Runa said. "Then, moments later, you came in and the rest is history."

Jani-Ca was speechless. As she listened to each side of the story, it felt like she was inside them.

A few moments later, all Jani-Ca could reply was "I see."

Just then, a scream erupted from behind Jani-Ca. At the same time, a white light shone causing her, Runa, Light Mobius Runa and Light Mobius Shadow to shield their eyes.

Once the white light dimmed, everyone's hands laid down. They turned to see Dark Mobius Runa panting. This time, her panting was not heavy. Rather, it was soft and slightly exhausted. Jani-Ca stepped towards her and kneeled in front of her. Dark Mobius Runa turned to Jani-Ca. This time, she no longer had a glare on her face. Instead, it was a sad and concerned look. It took a few moments before Jani-Ca spoke with a smile, "You did it."

Dark Mobius Runa smiled. "Yeah. I did it."

Nexus Room, The Temple of the End of Time

Dalia, Lucy, Espio, Destinee, Juniper, Bearace, Rouge, Antoine and Bunnie were still fighting the group of robots. As they did, Dalia turned to everyone else and spoke, "There's too many of them! And the room here is tight! At this rate, we might lose the Nexus to them!"

"Keep fighting, y'all. I'm sure a miracle will happen sooner than ya think," Bunnie said. Then, she looked down and muttered, "I hope."

Suddenly, the robots disappeared. Team A's eyes widened in surprise.

"What iz happening to them? Why did ze robots disappear out of ze nowhere?" Antoine asked.

"I don't know," Timothy said. "But I have a bad feeling about this."

It didn't take long before Tenzia appeared before her. But she no longer had a smile on her face. Instead, she had a glaring expression on her face. Her teeth gritted as her deathly glaring eyes were staring at Timothy.

"Timothy Twickenham," Tenzia said in an angry tone. "You have a lot of explaining to do."
