Later on...

Wars. Famines. Persecutions. Those things were scattered not just all over the Leone Kingdom, but also all over Mobius. Especially kingdoms such as the Kingdom of Acorn. Fires, ash, smoke and even dark clouds enveloped Mobius. Screams and panic were heard from citizens, especially innocent ones and most especially mothers and parents trying to protect children and babies, as they ran from the Underworlders.. The Underworlders chased after the citizens with blades in their hands.

With the G.U.N., as they saw the whole scene, they got in contact with Abraham. And as they did, it was the latter who spoke first.

"Yes. I've seen what happened. We need to evacuate the citizens to safety. Not just the United Federation, but all of Mobius. Bring every citizen you can to safety. As for the five chao and the children, they'll be brought back to the Royal Guardians."

With that, the G.U.N. company scattered all over the United Federation. They fought off the Underworlders and evacuated the citizens at the same time.

With Shadow...

After he glided away from the group, Shadow slowed his pace down. Guilt had washed over him at what he just said to Comono. He had a serious look on his face, but at that point, realization struck though him. His head looked down in secret guilt and closed his eyes.

Why did I say this when I actually feel this new feeling whenever I think of Runa? Maybe I should apologize to Comono, then I'll have my personal talk with Runa, he thought.

Then, a rustle in the bushes caused Shadow to whip his head around. He cautiously looked around to see what's making that sound. And as he did, a shadowy figure was on sight, then after a brief second, it disappeared. With suspicion occurring in him, he quietly glided through the bushes. He looked to the left and was quite shocked to see not just one figure, but two. And one was carrying the other bridal style.

As Shadow examined the details of the two shadowy figures, it didn't take long before his eyes widened in realization.

No... it can't be, he thought.

Shadow backed up carefully. After a few steps, his finger reached to his right ear and activated his earpiece.

"Rouge, we got a problem."

With Rouge and the others...

"Runa got kidnapped?!" Rouge asked Shadow through her earpiece in shock. "By who?!"

Once everyone heard this, almost everyone was shocked to hear this. Comono was quite shocked, but he had hope that Runa was okay. The ones that had the most shocked looks on their faces were the five chao, Sara, Lucy, Bubbles and Junior. Bubbles even covered her mouth in shock and worry.

To answer Rouge's question, Shadow responded, "Yes. She got kidnapped by Eclipse. He's taking her to someplace underground."

"Underground?" Rouge asked. 

"Yes. I'll see what I can do to save her," Shadow said.

"Oh, no, Shadow. You're not gonna do this alone, aren't you?" Rouge asked.

Alone? Sara thought questionably. She then, leaned her ear towards Rouge to keep listening to the conversation carefully. Sara couldn't hear Shadow speaking. All she could hear were screeches and Rouge speaking to him.

"It doesn't matter. All that matters is seeing Runa alive and well."

"Oh, I see what you're thinking. You really like her, don't you?"

Sara, Lucy, Comono and Bubbles covered their mouths while preventing themselves from snickering.

Shadow sounded embarrassed when he replied to Rouge, "Rouge. Let's talk about it later."

"Alright. Be careful out there," Rouge said.

"I will," Shadow replied.

With that being said, Rouge and Shadow hung up.

Upon hearing the word "Underground," it took a while for Juniper and Shania before realization hit them. Juniper turned to the others and spoke, "Chao-chao, chao-chao-chao, chao!"

"Chao!" Shania said, nodding in agreement.

Rouge turned to Comono in confusion because he's the only Langcomn with them. "What were they saying?"

"Juniper said Runa must be taken to the Underworld. And Shania agreed with her," Comono answered.

"The Underworld?" Rouge, Sara, Lucy and Bubbles asked in confusion.

"Chao-chao, chao-chao," Mystico said.

"Mystico said he'll explain later," said Comono.

"We can't risk letting Runa be in the death path. We have to do something," said Sara.

"And we can't let Shadow be off all alone," Rouge said.

"Affirmative," Omega said.

"Indeed," Comono said. That's when Comono raised his head slightly and made one thought in his head. Wherever you are, Runa, I hope you're alive and well.

Back with Sally and the others...

Just before anyone could say anything about what Amy was pointing at, Nicole laid a hand on Sally's shoulder. "Sally, I received calls from Solenan, your father and even every chief and royal in every kingdom."

"What's going on, Nicole?" Billie asked her.

"They all informed me that the Underworlders are attacking their kingdoms," answered Nicole.

Every shocked face was shot directly towards Nicole.

"That iz not good," said Antoine.

"Indeed," said Intellizo.

"It's worse than that, Antoine and Intellizo. Flames are scattered everywhere in not just the kingdoms, but also all of Mobius. The royal guards fought the best they could, but they all died. There's also the scene where the Underworlders separated the babies and children from their parents. Even worse, groups were forced to be scattered everywhere. There is no hope for all of Mobius," Nicole explained. "The Underworlders have discovered the secret location of Afrikonkryk. Now, they're coming to attack."

It didn't take long before Lariel's eyes widened in realization. "Oh no! You're right, Nicole! This is even worse! But it's even worse than what you just said!"

"Are you alright, Lari-girl? What's wrong?" Bunnie asked her in concern.

"I just realized that what Lulu said is true," Lariel told Bunnie.

Amy gasped in horror and realization. "The big war is back! And it's bigger than worse!"

"Yes, Amy. There was a great big war in the Leone Kingdom, but now, the same thing is happening in all of Mobius. I'll keep Leo company here. He wants me by his side no matter what. You guys can go save Afrikonkryk," said Lariel, then she turned to Sally. "Any objections, Sally?"

"None. But I think you need some company while looking after Leo," Sally told her.

"I'll stay with Lariel!" Tails volunteered happily.

"Me, too," said Rotor.

"Same here. It'll give us more time to remake the cure," said Shuzie.

"Right. That, too," said Tails.

"I'll stay and guard the others in case something bad happens," Nicole volunteered.

"Me, too," Bashiri said.

Billie turned to Bashiri in concern. "Are you sure about this, Bashiri?"

"Yes. Lariel might not focus on guarding Leo. I'll keep her company," Bashiri told Billie.

"Alright. Be careful," Billie said.

Bashiri turned to Billie with a soft smile. "You, too, Billie."

A blush crept up Billie's cheeks as he noticed the smile on Bashiri's face.

"I'll be staying and help Bashiri guard Leo," Amy volunteered.

"Thank you for volunteering, Amy," Sally said. Then, she turned to the others. "Also, Afrikonkryk's got an army of their own to help us fight outside in the battlefield."

Shuzie smiled at what she heard from Sally. "Yes. That's right. And my brother is leading them in the battlefield."

"Okay, then!" Amy said.

Upon hearing all this, Sonic turned to Amy. "Stay safe, Amy," Sonic said, giving her a wink.

"I will! You, too, Sonic!" Amy replied, winking at Sonic in return.

Once Lariel heard words from those who volunteered to stay, she had a genuine smile on her face and nodded. "Thank you, guys. It means a lot coming from you."

"You're welcome," Nicole said.

Sally turned to the whole crowd with a determined smile on her face. "Then, it's settled." She turned to Nicole. "Nicole, I need you to inform every royal to go and help evacuate the citizens and battle as many Underworlders as you can."

"On it," said Nicole, smiling at Sally.

Then, Sally turned to the Freedom Fighters and the Royal Guardians, except those who volunteered to stay with Lariel. "This is our last shot, everyone. It's now or never. We're going to save Afrikonkryk."

"Sweet! Let's go save the kingdom!" said Sonic with a determined smirk on his face.

With that being said, everyone went to do their roles appointed by Sally. Along with Amy, Bashiri, Billie, Shuzie, Rotor and Tails, Lariel was staying in the lab to watch over Leo — although. Rotor, Tails and Shuzie were remaking the cure. As for the rest of the Royal Guardians and the Freedom Fighters, they were off to battle the Underworlders and save Afrikonkryk.
