BEEP!BEEP! BEEP!

I groaned and I got out of bed, but I put my hair up and went in don't of the mirror
"Ugh just four more months til Coronation" I said,  my Coronation where I become the next Queen of  Trenia. Did I want to become Queen? No, not unless I get to change how our kingdom is ran-
There was a knock on the door
"Come in" I said, my mom peeked her head through the door
"Is that my beautiful ladybug?" she asked, she came in and squeezed my cheeks
"Mom " I said, I laughed a little
"Our future Queen of Trenia should be excited her coronation is in four months " she said,  I sighed
"What's wrong honey?" she asked,
"It's nothing I guess I'm just a little nervous " I said,  we went over to the window and I watched over the scenery she started talking but, I noticed a man he was tall and sort of buff. His eyes were piercing and he was standing at the gate
"Mom, who is that?" I asked,
"Oh , that's Grey he's from the kingdom of Ardenia " she said,
"Does my ladybug have a crush?" she asked, teasingly
"No, I just haven't met him before that's all" I said,
"Yes, his family only comes just for business about trade and are trying to make a military alliance. It is surprising that his parents did not come" she said,
"Maybe they're finally passing the torch" I said, I gave her a gentle nudge
"I guess they are" she said,
"Oh, you have ten minutes hurry and get dressed for the press conference" she said, she left

I put on a sleek navy blue suit with a white rose seal . I put my hair in a high ponytail tail and did my makeup light
I headed downstairs to our Bay Area and there were chairs and people with tons of cameras
I sat next to my mom and I saw Grey sitting on the other side
"We have a few questions for our future Queen" a reporter said, I was a little nervous but I stood up and I walked to the podium
"First of all you look beautiful " a reporter said,
"Thank you "
"Now how does it feel knowing you'll be Queen in a few months ?" they asked,
"Well, I'm a bit nervous but I know that I had a great example to follow and I will make my duty that the people of Trenia will thrive and succeed" I said,
"I know we'll be in good hands, thank you" she said, I nodded and then someone was walking forward but they were getting close and they looked like they were pulling something out
Luke, our bodyguard jumped into action and gunshots went off
I felt another bodyguard usher me to a car
"Wait where's my mother?" I asked, I looked around and another royal guardsman was ushering her along as well.
We got into a car
"What's going on?" I asked,
"It's the Yolkavis clan" a guard said,
"I don't understand I thought they were taken out a long time ago" I said,
"We've been keeping tabs on them and it turns out they've been trying to rebuild again but we don't know who the new heir is" Luke said,
I noticed that there were still a few townspeople running but I saw a little girl and she was scared
"Stop the car!" I shouted,
The car jolted to a stop
"What your Majesty?" Luke asked,
"There are still civilians that need help" I said,
"Your Majesty-
"No my people come first" I said, I got out the car and I hurried towards the girl and other civilians
"Mommy!" they girl shouted,
"Princess Leah?" she asked,
What's your name?" I asked,
"Isabelle" she said,
"That's beautiful" I said,
"I'm here to help you find your Mom" I said,
"We got pulled apart during the crowd and I can't find her and those scary men are here" she said,
"It's okay, we're gonna get you out of here and help you find her" I said,
"Now you have to follow my lead so the bad men can't get us" I said, she nodded and I grabbed her hand
I made sure to dodge some of the men but there were two in front of me but, they didn't have weapons
I managed to dodge the one as he went to punch me and he fell over but the other one followed suit . I flipped him over and grabbed his leg and twisted it but he yelped in pain. 
Isabelle stomped on his foot
"Nice moves" I said, she smiled and we kept going we were almost at the main gate but a tall man stepped out in front of us . I shielded Isabelle behind me
"Well well, Princess Leah" he said,
"Do I know you?" I asked,
"No but you will in due time" he said, he stepped closer but I stepped back
"I'm sorry but you're not making it out alive today" he said, he lifted his hand and I swept my foot under his leg and he stumbled
"You're quick aren't you?" he asked, he put a spike chain around my leg and I winced in pain
I had a secret dagger in my jacket and cut the chain. I stood up and it hurt to stand but I couldn't let him hurt Isabelle
"Wow I gotta give you more credit- he kept talking but Grey was sneaking around the corner
"But it won't matter , because I'll still defeat you- he was hit in the head with a hammer and then there were chains wrapping around his legs and he fell but then a bunch of guardsmen rushed up
Grey stood up but Isabelle hid behind a bush and I walked over to her
"Isabelle, he won't hurt you" I said, I kneeled down and she came out
"Promise?" she asked,
"Promise, now let's get you outside" I said, I looked but Grey was gone
I shrugged it off and I went outside but Isabelle ran over to a woman with black hair and bright blue eyes with fair skin
"Isabelle" she said,
"Mommy" Isabelle shouted, she ran up and hugged the woman
I walked over
"Your Majesty" she said,
"Please call me Leah" I said,
"Leah, thank you for helping my daughter " she said,
"Of course, she was an awesome fighter" I said,
"Mom you should have seen her, she was taking down the bad guys it was so cool" she said,
"I bet and you can tell me more but let's get you home" she said,
"Thank you again" her mom said,
"Of course, bye Isabelle" I said,
"Bye Leah" she said,  I waved goodbye and I felt a sharp pain but I looked down and remembered my leg was still messed up
"Hey, let's get you looked at" someone said, it was Grey and he offered his hand
"I can walk over it's nothing I can't handle" I said,  we walked over
"You were pretty impressive for a Princess" he said,
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked,
"I just meant that-
"I'm just teasing, I could say the same for you" I said,
"Thanks" he said,
"For a Prince
"Hey-
I walked off before he could finish and I was getting my wound taken care of
Luke rushed up to me
"Leah, are you alright? Well of course not you have a huge gash on your leg-
"Luke I'm okay, it's probably gonna leave a scar but I'll be alright. Is my mom okay?" I asked,
"Yes, we have the palace security on high alert and we are holding a meeting tomorrow with the Kingdom of Ardenia and the high council " he said,
"Of course and I want to hold a small press conference tomorrow-
"I don't know if it's a good idea, with the attack just happening what if-
"We need to do a private one but make it virtual so the kingdom can still watch it. I don't want the enemy to see we are scared because we aren't and we will put a stop to this" I said, he just sent out the notes but I kept thinking about what the man said
"You'll know me soon enough"
"What's wrong?" Luke asked,
"That man might be the new heir to Yolkavis " I said
