Hridyanshu gently twirled Nalani's hair around his finger as she engaged in a conference call with Vidha and Vedanth. Vidha shared a document on the screen, while Vedanth seemed engrossed in his iPad. "Are you two even listening?" Vidha snapped, showing signs of frustration.
"Yeah, you were saying about the training. . ." Vedanth spoke, and Hridyanshu hummed. "Seriously― Why do you have to have this call right now? We are getting late for our date."
Nalani and Vedanth laughed while Vidha glared at Hridyanshu. "I need your opinion on this. I cannot make decisions." Hridyanshu sat up straight. You don't have to ask for my opinion. You can do whatever you want to do. Just leave an email, and please don't disturb us."
"It's already been two months of your honeymoon, brother. Aren't you coming back?" Vedanth asked. "I will come when we feel like coming. If you excuse us, we will prepare for our date." Hridyanshu didn't wait for Vidha and Vedanth as he ended the call.
"Uff. . . Vidha is bossy, and she makes you sit in one place for hours." Nalani turned in his arms. "That was rude."
"Doesn't matter. I want to spend my time with you." Nalani raised her brow. "We have been spending time with each other every day."
"It isn't enough." Hridyanshu took Nalani's hand and kissed the inside of her hand. "I'm becoming clingy, but I'm loving it." Nalani chuckled and leaned closer to Hridyanshu. She kissed him on the lips. "And I love you being clingy to me."
They shared a laugh before Hridyanshu pulled Nalani closer to share a deep kiss. Hridyanshu gently wrapped his hand around Nalani's neck as he pulled her closer. Nalani smiled against his lips as she felt the excitement grow. Nalani pulled away.
"You know we are supposed to leave in thirty minutes?" Hridyanshu smirked. "I only need twenty minutes, love."

"What do you think of this?" Nalani asked, wearing the bracelet. Hridyanshu hummed as he concentrated on the different bracelets she was wearing. "I think the small pearls one looks great on you."
"Nice choice; I was thinking the same." Nalani turned to the vendor. "I will take this." She removed the bracelets and handed them back. Hridyanshu paid for them while Nalani watched him with a smile. She loved it when Hridyanshu spoilt her from time to time and bought things for her.
They are back in London. They will spend their final two weeks there before leaving for India. They haven't planned where they will stay. They will live in Nalani's old apartment in Hyderabad, where she has to take care of her dance school.
Nalani couldn't believe Hridyanshu's enthusiastic response. He was surprisingly thrilled about the idea of living in her two-bedroom apartment. Meanwhile, Vidha was set to take the helm of their family business, and she had plans to relocate to Dubai temporarily for essential matters. Hridyanshu had never expressed much interest in the family business, while Vidha was always dedicated to it.
Nalani wrapped her arm around Hridyanshu as they walked towards the china town. "Have you been to London when you were in college?" Nalani asked.
"Yeah, I was in London for two weeks with my friends. We went to Switzerland from here for the next three weeks. We went skiing over there, and at present— One of my friends who was on the trip is now settled in Switzerland."
"Wow, that's nice. Was he in love with the place?" Hridyanshu chuckled. "He fell in love with a girl he met at our skiing resort. She was one of the volunteers." Nalani looked at him. "Wow! Do I know him?"
"I'm unsure; he hasn't been to Jaipur yet. He is Prateek. . ." Nalani's brows frowned in confusion. "Was he the Prateek who called Vidha as Black cat?" Hridyanshu laughed at the memory. "Oh, yes. He was the one who called Vidha a black cat, me as German shepherd, Vedanth as golden retriever and Athulya as labrador"
"Yeah. . . I remember him. I haven't seen him, but I recall Vidha mentioning it." Hridyashu smiled. "Why wouldn't she mention him? She used to have a huge crush on him when we were kids."
"I remember that. He told her to marry who is equally black cat, didn't he?" Hridyanshu hummed. "I don't know about it, but he did say something like that when she proposed to him and asked him to wait. At that time, he met Suzi in Switzerland."
"Oh, yeah. . . I remember this story. He was her first hard crush."
"She didn't talk to him for years before she dated that Dutch guy." Hridyanshu knew each and every guy that Vidha dated. "You brothers always knew whom she was dating. She hated it."
"We never interacted, though. We only knew about her boyfriends because we didn't want her to date a psychopath." Nalani rolled her eyes. "Anway, let's not talk about my sister or anyone."
"Okay." Hridyanshu stopped at a small cafe. "Do you want to try their dumplings?" Nalani looked at the cafe before nodding their head. "Sure."
Nalani couldn't help but feel giddy as Hridyanshu squeezed her hand as they entered the cafe. This is what she wanted in her love life: to visit places with Hridyanshu, to try different cuisines with Hridyanshu, and to just be each other's partners with nothing pulling them down. . .
