-a month later-
I stood to myself for a full month.
No one barely talked to me.
I was bullied & mocked by my fellow classmates for being pregnant.
I couldn't say who the father was..because I wanted to keep Jack's identity a secret.
If any of the townspeople knew I was pregnant with the foreign prince's baby.
I wouldn't be able to leave my house.
With the pouring attention I'll get from it.
I don't want that at all..
I tried calling his number but it goes to voicemail.
I get it.
If he wants to end things entirely.
I'll end things with him then..
Problem is..I'm pregnant with his child.
Today is my first sonogram.
I'm nervous & excited at the same time.
I play with my fingers as I wait in the waiting room.
A nurse comes out
"Ms. Rhodes?" She says looking at her clipboard
I raise my hand & smile
"That's me." I say & walk inside.
Time to see my little bean.

Jack's POV:
I rest my head on my pillow & my mother storms into my room.
"Did you get the information I needed?!" She says crossing her arms
"Yes mother" I say groaning & covering myself in the sheets.
She snatches the blankets off of me & sits at the edge of my bed.
"Good. Because the wedding is in a few months. Won't want any mishaps now would we?" She says brushing my hair with her fingers
I raise a eyebrow
"What wedding?" I ask.
I'm confused..I'm not with anyone.
"The arranged marriage between you & princess Penelope. The king came by & spoke to me about it-"
"& you said yes?! Mother I cannot get married." I say angrily
"Why not? Your a single handsome prince. I don't see anything holding you back" she says cupping my face like a child.
I shake my head & move her away from me
"I refuse to marry someone I don't love" I say staring at her
"My handsome son. Relax..you'll grow to love her. She's amazing & plus both of our kingdoms will survive thanks to your union" she says
"Wait..so this why I have to marry her?" I ask
She sighs loudly
"I wasn't suppose to tell you..but King Santos proposed a idea that you & Penelope. Since you two know each other very well & grew up practically together..that you both marry each other. For the sake of their kingdom & ours. Their kingdom is very poor & the townspeople are leaving due to lack of daily essentials,like fresh water..etc so if you marry her. We're wealthy...meaning you can help their kingdom become beautiful again" she says
"But mother that's a lot of weight on my shoulders to take on" I say sighing
"I'll give you 2 days to think about it. I can't wait too long. We'll be having a engagement party for you two soon" she says & leaves my room.
I groan & cover my face with a pillow.
"UGGHH" I yell into the pillow & I grab my phone.
I see 12 missed calls & 3 text messages from Mani.
Omg I almost forgot about her.
I text her back with
"Hi! Sorry for not replying how's it in America?" I send & she instantly replies
"I just got done from the doctors" she sends me & I raise a eyebrow
"Doctors? For what?" I send
It stays on read for a while..
"Nothing..just a regular check up." She sends to me
"Okay. I'll talk to you later right?" I send
She replies with
"Sure"
I turn off my phone & walk over to my bathroom.
I'm forced into a arranged marriage..while I'm in love with a American girl.
Who's on the other side of the globe...

I couldn't tell him the truth behind my visit..
I can't tell him over text.
I wanna see his reaction..but what if he doesn't want it?
Ugh..too much stressing.
I have to see him now...!!
