Kimani's POV:
~the next day~
The day has arrived.
It's bittersweet for me..but hopefully I'll get over it.
I rub my enormous belly & I smile looking at the mirror.
Our little prince or princess has grown so much.
It's any day now..
The doctor keeps warning me not to stress...
That stress will cause induced labor & since I'm too protective of the baby.
I listen to him & follow his instructions.
Against my own wishes & the queen's...I'm still here in the palace.
I wish I was home..I missed out so much of the school year at home.
Jack knows Penelope is pregnant with prince Johnson's baby.
But for the sake of their kingdoms..is still marrying her.
I walk into the bathroom & I strip myself out of my clothes.
I step inside the shower & turn on the warm water.
I sigh in relief
as I feel the pressure of the wedding that was weighing on me earlier.
Has left my body completely from the steam of the shower.
I grab the bar of soap & I lather myself up.
I rinse off & grab a shampoo bottle.
I squirt some in my hand & start scrubbing my hair.
I close my eyes & rinse it out.
I extend my arm out & grab the towel that's on the hanger.
I dry myself off & I plug in the blow dryer.
I walk out of the bathroom with the towel wrapped around my nude body.
I lock the door & I go into my closet.
I search for a outfit & I pick out a denim dress

I put it on & I slip on black heels.
I brush my hair out & tie it up in a perfect high bun.
I put on lipgloss,eyeliner & mascara.
I grab my purse & I walk out of my room.
I walk down the stairs slowly & I walk over to another spare room.
Where Penelope is getting ready.
I see her in a beautiful long wedding gown with white lace all throughout it.
She is getting her veil placed over her head & she noticed me
She smiles at me & motions me over to her.
I walk over to her & she grabs both of my hands.
"I wanna thank you." She says tearing up a bit
"Why?" I say smiling & placing my fingers under her eyes
So I can wipe her tears.
"Your a amazing person..your letting us get married. Your not tying to break it up. Not that I wanna marry him..but I wanna thank you..your so selfless..your pregnant with his child & yet..you thought of him instead of you. That's why you deserve happiness too Mani.." she says & turns around
She snaps her fingers at her maid & her maid rushes over with a wrapped box.
"Here." Penelope says & hands it over to me.
I raise a eyebrow & I open the box.
It's a emerald gem necklace.
I gasp
"It's gorgeous..but why?" I ask her almost in tears
No one has ever done this for me.
"It's been in the family for decades...but I thought to give it to someone who will appreciate it. My soul sister." She says smiling & puts it on me.
I tear up & cover my face.
I couldn't believe she gave me a necklace that has been in her family.
She gave it to me..someone she met over 9 months ago.
Me & her really clicked over the past 9 months..
I'm very happy that Jack is marrying her..
"You look gorgeous" she says moving my hands away from my face
"Not as gorgeous as you do." I say looking at her dress
"We both are gorgeous." She says smiling & wipes a single tear that rolls down my cheek.
I grab her hand
"Thank you so much." I say & hug her tightly.
~after a while~
I walk down the stairs to find Jack getting ready in his suit.
He sprays cologne on himself & I inhale the sweet scent of the cologne.
I sigh loudly by mistake & he turns around in a instant.
He looks at me & gives me a small smile.
"You look very handsome." I say looking at the floor.
"Thanks. You look very nice." He says
"Today's the day." I say smiling
"I know..don't gotta remind me." He says giggling
I walk over to him & grab his arm
"Be good to her..she's a good girl." I say & walk out of the room.
He tries to chase after me..
But before he could..I'm already far away from him..
I text Penelope.
"See you at the ceremony xo" & I put my phone in my purse.
I'm keeping my head up high for the first time..
It's better this way..
He marries her & I stay by myself...
