~the next day~
I got the call for the first time in 3 months from my mom.
We cried talking to each other & I kept telling her I missed her.
I wanna leave this place already.
I rub my belly & I climb out of bed.
I see Penelope signaling me to come downstairs.
She's in her golf outfit.
I giggle & I walk over the closet.
I pick out my outfit.

It's chilly outside & breezy.
I slip on stockings.
I put on white flats & I tie my hair up in a ponytail.
I walk outside & Penelope hugs me.
"I saw prince Johnson at the golf course right now. He looks so hot..I'm nervous" she says & I grab her hand
"Relax..you are princess Penelope Maria Santos the first. You will not be intimidated by a prince!" I say & she nods
"Your right..i can do this..I can so do this." She says
We start walking into the golf course.
We get a golf cart & I start driving it around.
I drop her off where prince Johnson is at & I go to a different spot.
That's right next to theirs.
I sit & watch them playing yet talking to each other.
Penelope's POV:
I look into his beautiful crystal blue eyes & I feel like I'm home.
I've always had a thing for him.
But all my life..i thought he wouldn't cross paths with me.
"So what's a beautiful girl like you doing here by yourself?" He asks
"To play with a cute American prince. You?" I say smirking
He raises a eyebrow
"Don't you have a fiancé?" He asks
"No..no..you got me wrong babyboy..I don't wanna marry someone I don't love. I don't love him. We're in a arranged marriage." I say
"Oh..I had a arranged marriage before..to princess Elena." He says
"Another Spanish princess." I mumble under my breath
"She was a looker..but not as beautiful as you." He says looking at me intensely
"Well..I gotta go back inside..before he notices. Kimani lets go!" I say & signal her over.
He looks at us both & I grab her hand
"Lets go bestie" I say & we leave together..
Leaving him there stunned..
~inside the house~
Kimani's POV:
"That was so much fun Penelope!" I say smiling
"I'm happy you found it fun..I felt bad. I think he likes me now" she says giggling
"That's what you wanted right?" I ask her
She nods
"I didn't think so fast.." she says blushing
"Your a likable person" I say smiling & playing with her hair.
"Lets have a little sleepover in your room tonight. I'll bring popcorn,the movies,snacks everything!" She says excitedly
"I love that! Okay lets do it!" I say
~later in the night~
It's pass 10pm.
Which means the queen is asleep.
Dinner was hours ago & was delicious.
Penelope sneaks into my room & we lock the door.
I turn on my tv for the first time & she puts on a DVD.
"What movie did you pick?" I ask her
"You'll see.." she says with a wicked smile on her face
All of sudden a horror flick starts playing & I scream out.
She covers my mouth with her hand
"Shush. You'll wake everyone up" she says in barely a whisper
I shake my head
"Your trying to give me a heart attack woman?!" I say lowly
"What did you wanna watch?" She asks
"Like a romantic comedy..or a comedy in general.." I say sighing
"How about..We watch...Maid In Manhattan" she says
I nod & we lay down in bed together watching the movie.
We both end up falling asleep & I feel so happy inside.
Finally I have a cuddle buddy.
I haven't had one until now since 3 months ago..
