(Spider-Man 2099 and Lasher charge at each other as the latter shoots a web rope and pulls the former to him before kicking him down as he then throws him down. Spider-Man 2099 gets up and tries to slash Lasher, who dodges the attack and webs one of his arms. Miguel then grabs Dante's neck, but the latter uses a tendril to stab his left arm.)

Lasher: (to A. Knight) Hey, All-Brat! If you lend us a hand, you'll be doing us a big favor!

A. Knight: (annoyed) Yeah, yeah, sure, you're the boss.

(Spider-Man 2099 then scratches Lasher's chest.)

Lasher: Seriously? I thought you WERE a Spider-Man?

Spider-Man 2099: And you think you're a symbiote warrior like Venom is? Who do you think you are anyway?

Lasher: Someone stronger, smarter and BETTER than him! (jumps) We... are Lasher!

(Lasher kicks Spider-Man 2099 down.)

Lasher: Dante Lucious lost his family. (turns his arms into blades) And I bet you know the rest, sucker!

(He stabs Spider-Man 2099's leg, but he punches Lasher away. Arkham Knight then decides to start shooting as Spider-Man 2099 barely dodges.)

A. Knight: Not so Spider-Man now, are you?

(Unbeknownst to them, Y/N and his team come in as they witness the battle. Before they could try to understand, they suddenly get frozen as Joker II and Lady Octopus come in.)

Lady Octopus: We won't allow you to interfere with our vengeance, heroes!

(The two girls then join Lasher and Arkham Knight to fight Spider-Man 2099, who seems to be holding his own against the two boys. As Lady Octopus tries to use her tendril, Spider-Man 2099 grabs it and throws her at Lasher and Arkham Knight.)

Spider-Man 2099: You just don't get it, you four are anomalies.

Joker II: We DIDN'T choose to be monsters! (draws her pistol) WE WERE TURNED INTO SUCH!

(She shoots a boxing glove at Spider-Man 2099 as Y/N has a telepathic talk with Venom.)

Y/N: Maybe they could be valuable allies for us.

Venom: You just don't get it, do you, Mr. Rose? Lasher doesn't trust anyone but his host. And I'm sure these other three don't trust anyone that much either!

(Back to Spider-Man 2099, he pins Joker II.)

Spider-Man 2099: Anywhere, YOU are anomalies!

(Joker II punches Spider-Man 2099, who isn't fazed at all as he throws her at the three.)

Spider-Man 2099: You are the original anomalies! You shouldn't even have existed! (approaches the group) Edwin Black wasn't supposed to be killed by Lasher! (steps on Joker II's chest) He was supposed to be killed by Asagi Igawa! (stomps Joker II's chest, making her cough blood) Due to his interference, there'll be a temporal disturbance!

Lasher: No!

Spider-Man 2099: You're not supposed to be the ones to kill him!

Lasher: THIS! IS! BULLSHIT! WE ARE MAKING THIS WORLD BETTER, NOT THEM!

(Lasher shoots his webs, but Spider-Man 2099 cuts them off.)

Spider-Man 2099: You four are mistakes. If you hadn't interfered, this world wouldn't be at risk, but you HAD to do this, didn't you!

(Spider-Man 2099 then pins Lasher down.)

Lasher: GET OFF US!

Spider-Man 2099: Deathstroke would have been defeated by this world's Venom if he was still alive, Roberta Torchwick wouldn't have to resort to recruit the Hell Knight Ingrid to help her, and none of this mess would have happened! (slams Lasher) But in the end, I am the ONLY one who can keep all of this on its feet! (whispers on Lasher's ear) You don't belong here, neither did your parents, kid. You never did.

Lasher: (grunts) What did you just say? (growls) ARE YOU TELLING ME MY PARENTS DESERVED TO DIE? ARE YOU?

A. Knight: Ugh... that's a low blow, dude...

Lady Octopus: (smirks at Spider-Man 2099) There's only one similarity between you and other Web-Warriors. (psychotic tone) YOU ALL FUCK UP BIG TIME!

(Spider-Man 2099 gets confused until Lasher unleashes his Rage.)

Lasher: GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Spider-Man 2099: (eyes widen) What?

Lasher: NOBODY TALKS CRAP ABOUT MY FAMILY!!!

(Lasher then stabs both of Spider-Man 2099's shoulders and knees with his tendrils.)

Lasher: EVERYONE KEEPS TELLING US HOW OUR STORY IS SUPPOSED TO BE! BUT WE PREFER DOING THINGS OUR WAY!

(He slams Spider-Man 2099 several times before stomping on his chest.)

Lasher: Puny Web-Warrior!

(Spider-Man 2099 then decides to temprarily retreat as Dante regains control over Lasher. Lady Octopus approaches him.)

Lady Octopus: Are you okay, baby?

Lasher: Now I am. (approaches Arkham Knight and glares at him) See? SEE? NOBODY IS TO BE TRUSTED IN THIS CURSED WORLD! AND NOW YOU KNOW IT, ALL FOR ONE REJECTED CHILD!

(Arkham Knight simply goes to help Joker II up, but she slaps his hand.)

Joker II: Get off me, baka!

(She gets up, and then Arkham Knight merely drops a smoke bomb, releasing a smokescreen. Yang breaks herself, and then her teammates free from the ice, but the Outsiders already disappeared.)

Jane: They disappeared.

Proto Man: Now we know they're not on anyone's side.

(The team leaves the warehouse as the screen fades out.)
