Yang:I HEARD what happened.

*Yang said with a low growl, pyrrha sighed, she looked guilty of course, but also annoyed, since she didn't have time for this right now*

Pyrrha:look, it's all just one big misunderstanding. I didn't say those words specifically.

Yang:really then WHAT did you say?

Pyrrha:look yang, I really don't have time for this. I'll call ruby later, and explain it to her but for...

*When pyrrha tried to move out, yang grabbed her and pushed her back inside, What scared Pyrrha a little was the look she was giving her. It wasn't any emotion Yang had on her face before. No, yang's face had a cold blank expression on it*

Pyrrha:yang, seriously. Stop it. I don't have the time for this

*Pyrrha said, trying to get past her, but yang again grabbed her and pushed her inside, this time harder than before, the emotion on her face never changed. Pyrrha gave an annoyed chuckle, as she smiled at the blonde*

Pyrrha:Do you really want to do this? You've never beaten me once, in beacon. You think it'll be any different now?

Yang:...."if you stand for nothing what will you fight for" that's a quote my dad always told me. I never really understood it, since I just fought to win. But now? I stand for protecting my little sister, and you hurt her.

*Yang said in a monotone voice, Pyrrha found this so ridiculous that she had to laugh. A sarcastic, angry laugh, as she shot yang a glare*

Pyrrha: this coming from the bitch who let ruby get eaten by beowolves?

Yang:.....

*That little statement, didn't cause the reaction Pyrrha was expecting. Yang wasn't angry, wasn't guilty, she still didn't show even a shred of emotion*

Yang:I'm giving you a chance to tell me why...

*Yang said, as she was saying this, her hair was changing, it wasn't the normal yellow fire she usually gets when she's mad. No. Both her hair and her eyes turned a toxic fire blue, as yang just unlocked a new ability from her semblance, cold anger, or how yang will call it in the future, mobilization*

Time slowed for the 9 of them as they waited for someone to move. Ruby saw one of them jump for the table, but Ruby's quick draw was faster, and she shot the man's hand, making him scream. Ruby took out her other jackal, and pointed it at the other guards*

Ruby:everyone of you facing the wall now...

*Ruby's moment was interrupted, by the roof collapsing, ruby closed her eyes as the dust went everywhere, went their dust settled, she saw Pyrrha and yang just hitting each other, and the guards all pointing their guns at her.*

Ruby:.....I should've come with glynda. Yo moron! Stop hitting the champion, we've got bigger problems!!

Guards: hands in the air now!!

Ruby pov

*One of the guards yelled, I sighed. As I looked around, In such a small room, using her petal explosion, would just hurt the slaves and Pyrrha...... And yang too I begrudgingly guess. The two sharing one braincell morons, looked at the situation and got up, with their hands in the air. I could see the fear in pyrrha's eyes, unlike me she has a reputation to uphold here in Mistral. So with a sigh, I used my petal explosion for a second, landed behind her, putting her hand in a lock*

Ruby: play along, when I say champion, flip me over

*I whispered to her, as I put my gun at the back of her head. I could hear the guard's cocking their guns*

Ruby:back up! Back the fuck up!!

Guards:let go of our champion or we'll fire!!

*The guards said, I looked at them as if they were stupid, seeing as they were playing poker moments before, they probably were*

Ruby:really? I'm using her as a shield, and you're gonna shoot? Now drop your weapon or your champion gets I...

*I loosened my grip on pyrrha's wrist, in which time, she turned around disarming me, grabbed my wrist and threw me to the ground*

3rd person

Pyrrha: I'm not the champion of Mistral for nothing, you 8, take the blonde, I'll deal with this vile creature.

Guard:yes ma'am!

*The guards said, yang glanced at ruby, who gave yang a look that said "trust me". Yang gave a frustrated sigh, and let the men arrest them, and took them away, as they were walking, ruby felt Pyrrha get closer to her, and whisper to her ear*

Pyrrha:thank you....

Scene change

*We see ruby and yang locked in the basement, they were chained up together*

Yang:ruby I'm sorry. I....lost my cool, and I ruined the mission for you

Ruby:well at least you admit it. And you didn't ruin anything, there is still time to finish it. Major doesn't care about the collateral damage. Or me getting caught for that matter, since if I get caught or killed, he'll just replace me

*Ruby said, as she was swinging from side to side, ruby couldn't see it, but yang had a concerned look on her face*

Yang: and you're ok with that?

*Ruby said, wrapping her tail around the pipe, and she started kicking the connected pipe, over and over again,until it separated from the one they were chained too. Both sisters fell and true to her word, yang broke her nose. Ruby was fine, she used yang to soften her landing*

Yang:fuck. I forget how much a broken nose hurts

Ruby:just breathe through your mouth,

*Ruby said, unlocking her chains, and doing the same for yang, yang looked at ruby surprised*

Yang:where did you get the key? And why didn't you just use that instead of breaking the pipe?  I've seen trap artists open locks with the key in their feet

Ruby:Pyrrha slipped me the key, while she and those guards brought us here.

*Ruby said, as she looked at the extent of her damage, she sighed in relief, the burns on her body wasn't so bad, so they'll heal back to human skin, and not reptilian skin*

Ruby: As for that escape artist shit? I couldn't reach the keyhole in the position we were chained up in. I might be flexible seeing as I'm a snake faunus, but I'm not that flexible

Yang:.....so, your legs were too short to reach the keyhole huh?

*Yang said with a bit of a teasing grin, the blush on Ruby's face just made the grin even bigger*

Ruby:.....we should hurry up and save the slaves. Fix your nose and let's go

*Ruby muttered, as she walked ahead to the basement door. Yang snickered, and then grunted, forcing the nasal bone back in its place. She followed right behind ruby. It didn't take them long to make it, do the location. Only now the door was being guarded, ruby signaled to yang to take the one on the right, yang nodded and knocked the man out with one punch, she looked at ruby, and her eyes widen in surprise, as she saw her bite the guard, infecting him with her poison, the man wiggled on the ground, not being able to even scream in pain, as foam started filling his mouth, his veins turned purple, and skin lost all it's color, turning grey*

Yang:Jesus. Was that what was gonna happen to me, when we first met?

Ruby:no. I gave you a lesser dose, since I wanted you to suffer, as your body slowly decayed in a matter of days

*Ruby said, taking the cage keys from the dead man, and walking inside, ignoring the haunting look yang was giving her. They made it down, and saw no one this time, no one but the slaves*

Yang: where's everyone?

Ruby:if I had to guess? Up congratulating Pyrrha, for stopping me. Let's hurry, free the slaves, I'll call Raven

*Ruby said tossing the keys to yang, as she took out her phone and made the call, overall even with a shaky middle, the mission was a success*

Later

*We see ruby and yang back at the tribe, yang was busy describing all the food she ate, to the other initiatives, who were all hanging on to her every word, seeing as all they've been eating is a grey gruel. While ruby? She was getting ready for bed, the events of the day playing in her head, one very specific event of the day playing in her head, as she sat down on her bed*

*Ruby felt the wet stains falling down her cheek, as now that she was alone, with the door locked, and the windows closed and covered by the curtains. Ruby allowed herself to cry*

* Ruby heard her phone jingle, and looked at who was calling her. The name angel and a photo of a smiling Pyrrha appeared on the screen. She was scared to answer it*

*With a shaky hand, she went for the phone and grabbed her flask next do it, taking a drink from it, the more she listened to the old song, the more she thought that it was the perfect ringtone for Pyrrha, since she was the perfect description of faleena. in Ruby's eyes, the whole song was singing about Pyrrha as faleena, herself as the young tall handsomely dressed cowboy, and pretty boy as the other cowboy that got killed*

Ruby's phone:You'll hear them talkin' and you'll hear them walkin' You'll hear them laugh and you'll look, but there's no one around Don't be alarmed - there is really no harm there It's only the young cowboy, showin' Faleena the town

* As the 4th and final ring was finished, thanks to the liquid confidence she just drank, she grabbed the phone and answered it*
