*whipping, if there was a sound that ruby hated as much as the sound of chains clicking and dragging on the floor, it was the sound of someone whipping a wip. And for the past couple of days, she's had to endure that sound for hours at a time. Ruby growled softly hearing Raven whipping the ground again*

Raven:one, five, three!

*Ruby moved do the 3 poses perfectly,  Ruby's eyes flinched when she heard the whipping sound again making ruby have flashback, of when she was locked in chains*

Raven:six, four, two!

*Raven said with authority, ruby did the poses perfectly. Sadly for ruby, she got cocky when she didn't hear the whip*

Raven:and lunge!

*Raven said loudly, ruby stabbed her sword forward completely. She winced when she was whipped on her reptilian arm, disarming ruby*

Raven: over-lunge!

*Ruby started groaning, rubbing her arm, ruby did another mistake, she dropped her guard. Raven whipped her in the back, hard. Ruby felt as her air got ripped out of her lungs, and then ruby did her 3rd mistake. She let her anger take control. With a loud hiss, ruby grabbed her sword and lunged at raven, who easily counter. With one hand, while with her other, she had one of Ruby's jackals pointing right at her throat. Raven looked calm, seeing this outburst as inevitable*

Raven:lesson number 1. Never attack in anger.

*Raven moved to the side, and pushed ruby to the ground. Ruby groaned softly, hissing at Raven, when she started stepping on her tail*

Raven:with guns? You can attack with anger, since with these uncivilized weapons, it's about who's got the quicker draw

Ruby:get off my tail....

*Ruby said, hissing at her, but not bitting her, even in anger, even in a animalistic type rage, she knows better than to poison Raven a second time. Ruby hissed louder in pain, since Raven did get off Ruby's tail, by stepping over it. Raven grabbed Ruby's sword, and tossed it to her. Even in the ground, ruby caught it, she slowly got up and got into a fighting position, as Raven was in the same position*

Raven:but swordsmanship? You attack in anger, you become predictable, sloppy, and I know for a fact that you are better than that. Prove me right and come at me.

Ruby:with pleasure....

*Ruby said, slowly making her way to Raven, and they began fighting. Raven was literally fighting with on hand behind her back*

Raven:slow. Attack slow. Attack

*Raven said, they kept attacking with there blades, making a triangle. They kept at this practice for hours, since Raven main goal was to gram the fundamentals of swordfighting in Ruby's head*

Raven:wanna take a break?

Ruby:not on your life

*Ruby said, as they kept at it, with Raven letting ruby take the offensive, while Raven herself was on the defensive, seeing Ruby's form, studying. And she couldn't help but smirk, since this is why she made ruby her personal project. She was the quickest and most dedicated trainee there is. Also ambitious, seeing as ruby was attacking faster and faster with every strike. Both stopped when they heard a condescending clapping. Ruby glanced and squinted her eyes seeing no one else than the major, with the captain next to him*

Major:my oh my, if you keep improving we'll have to renegotiate your contract with me rose

Ruby:....what are you doing here sir?

*Ruby said putting her sword in her scabbard, aka blush that was now a much smaller rifle. Major smiled and walked up to ruby, with Raven crossing her arms behind her*

Major: oh nothing, nothing, just seeing how my asset with the most potential is doing, with all these....thugs to put it nicely

Raven:oh I'll put it nicely, I'll put my sword up your ass so nicely if you don't stop with the condescending attitude

*Raven said in a dangerously soft voice, the captain got in her face, towering over her. Raven wasn't threatened as she looked at the quiet beast, with a snarl*

Raven:you want some? Just say the word

Major: now, now, let's all calm down. Raven my dear, you simply must stop antagonizing him, every time you see each other.

*Major said with a smile almost identical to ozpin, difference being that the major was open with the fact that he was using you. Raven and the captain kept glaring at each other, just waiting for the other to make the first move*

Ruby:so. I take it that you have a new job for me?

Major:indeed I do. The schnee corporation is at it again. This time with a smaller hawl, I believe they think that if it's smaller, you won't appear. Hybris really will be that man's downfall

*The major said, taking a folder out of his coat, and giving it to the person behind him, which was how Glynda, who came to see how things were going. Glynda took the file and gave it a quick read. It was a simple act, but it made ruby flinch, the major was implying without saying a single word, that he knew. He knew that ruby didn't know how to read. But ruby kept a strong face, not showing any emotion*

Ruby:seeing as I'll be doing this alone. It should be a much more smoother experience. Though I'm surprised they still haven't figured out, that they have a mole in there mitts

Major:hahaha, oh my dear~ my company is too small in there eyes, to ever be a threat.

*The major said, and ruby saw what makes her stay in her place with the major. The thing that makes him such a threat and such an fantastic alley for the rose of vacuo*

*The evilness in his eyes, the calmness behind them, as if what he's doing is right and righteous. This man was not a broken evil like Salem, but pure, unmistakable evil, and ruby was allowing herself to be used by him. He looked at ruby, with a smile that made her tail start to rattle. But the major ignored at, and kept smiling at her*

The major:But believe me when I say, I have a millennium of time, to reach the top

*The major said, as cryptic as he usually is. Major turned around and snapped his fingers, walking away as he did so*

Major:captain, that's enough playtime with your friend. Time to go home

Captain:hm.

*The captain said, walking away from Raven, as he was walking he patted Ruby's head as a goodbye, before he joined the major, into leaving this tribe. Once they were gone Raven sighed frustrated*

Raven:gods, I hate that man. Well, rest up brat, I expect you to be finished with this mission and back here by the morning

Glynda:giving how calm you are, I'm guessing it's not the first time you've met Ruby's...... Employer

*Glynda said, putting it as delicately as possible, Raven scoffed and snatched the file out or Glynda's hands. She read through it as she spoke*

Raven:more then a few times, it was a surprise finding out that little rose, was more grown up than I gave her credit for, making that devil with the devil. But I've also turned a blind eye to his merchandise

*Raven said with a freon, she was having flashbacks of what happened the first time the major appeared in her tribe. Ruby seeing that Glynda was still confused, explained it to her*

Ruby;she's mad, because the major killed over 65% of the original brawnen tribe, back when raven was a lot more arrogant. And stole some of his property

Raven:.....like I said, I fucking hate that man

*Raven said with a shutter, remembering the arrogance of her younger self, of just a few years ago. The major all but forced her to take the same deal as ruby, to turn a blind eye to his slaves, or else, she would be the only remaining brawnen clan member alive. Raven shook her head, and closed the file*

Raven:this is interesting, you'll be going to Mistral, and you'll have to blend in as a guest.

Ruby:giving that Mistral is neutral with the rose of vacuo, they won't know how I look like. I'll be in and out before they noticed what I did

*Ruby said with a dismissively, she grabbed her sword out and took it out. Pointing it Raven*

Ruby:but the mission is not till tonight, and the day is still young. Let's go again

Raven:heh. Glad we're on the same page you brat

*Raven said, tossing the file back go Glynda and taking out her own sword. They started practicing again with Glynda watching. Concern was clear in her eyes, as she read, and re-read the files. This mission was high risk, with low rewards in Glynda's opinion. But she knew better than to try and make ruby decide not to take it*

Scene change with yang

Vernal:alright, after this is done. All of you are done for the day, yellow piss dragon, I suggest you hit the showers, cause you stink to fuck and back

*Vernal said, as she walked away. We see yang helping out the food they stole in the right place, she couldn't help but remember the faces of the people they stole frome. How scared they look. They were innocent in all this, and they stole from them, just because they could. It was wrong, her father daughter her better than that, he taught her to protect the weak. So as she last shipment was place in its place, she went to find ruby and Glynda*
