*it's been a few days since qrow decided to pay a visit to his old tribe. We see Raven again training ruby.
She was sitting down reading a book, while ruby was doing push ups. A shirtless ruby doing push ups, she was on top of some chairs while she did it, and under her were hot burning candles, to motivate her. As ruby was completely down about to pull herself up, she grunted in pain when raven kicked her stomach*

Raven:you slouched, keep your back straight

Ruby:yes, chief

*Ruby said through gritted teeth, as she continued, she still had another 300 to go before she can take a break*

Nora:man ruby, you're drenched in sweat

Ruby:no shit Sherlock.....wait...

*Ruby looked up surprised seeing Nora there, she wasn't the only one. Raven and Glynda were also surprised seeing the orange hair girl there. Nora just smiled and waved at her friend*

Ruby:Nora... why are you here? how the fuck are you even here?

Nora:to visit you silly! And how I'm here? I walked

*Nora said with a bright smile. Raven got up with a cold calculating stare, she kicked ruby again in the same spot, making her almost fall to the burning candles*

Raven:I didn't say stop. Keep going, still got another 300 left

Ruby:yes chief

* Ruby said, bitting her tongue to control herself from reacting to the pain.*

Ruby"I used to be stronger. God, staying in beacon is making me weak..."

*Ruby thought to herself, when in reality she was stronger than before, it's just that before she had alcohol to make her numb to all pain*

Jake:pathetic...

*Ruby finished and frowned, borderline growled, hearing that whisper. It only took 1 word of the snake's mouth, to ruin Ruby's mood. She started doing the push ups again, ignoring the whispered that started to appear again. Raven was walking around Nora, inspecting her *

Raven:what are you doing here? How did you find this place?

Nora:I'm here to visit my teammate ruby rose, and zwei told me of this place

*Nora said casually, as if what she said made any sort of sense. Raven glanced at Glynda who kept her promised, of not interrupting during Ruby's workout, even if she really wanted to. Raven raised an eyebrow at Glynda for an explanation and she just shrugged*

Glynda:we learned not to question it. Nora is just...Nora

Nora:aww your so kind miss good witch. Oh ruby, I've got the perfect thing for you

*Nora said, ignoring Raven, and sitting next to her friend. Struggling not to let the intrusive thoughts win*

Nora"don't blow out the candles, don't blow out the candles, ruby will get mad if you blow out the candles"

Ruby:I'm a little busy right now Nora

*Ruby grunted, her hand's almost slipping. Nora ignored her, and placed some strange machine Ruby's never seen before. While Glynda and Raven knew it was big speaker, that was connected to Nora's scroll*

Nora:well, I got something that will make these push up a lot easier

Ruby:then I don't want it... The....the point, of exercise, is to destroy the muscles. It's... it's not supposed to be easy....

*Ruby said through breaths, her arms were trembling, and she got too low for comfort. Ruby winced and pushed herself back up*

Nora:oh, you'll still find it difficult, this is more to help bost moral points

Ruby:Nora, what did I tell you about talking like a video game character?

*Ruby said with a sigh, she heard Raven sitting back down. Ruby straightened her back, and kept doing the push ups*

Vernal: alright you poor excuse for maggots, 5 minute showers and then we're back at it

*We see her with the rest of the runts, all of them were sweaty, dirty, tired, some even bloodied. After being dragged out of there small salvation that was there hutt, at 3 in the morning. Vernal took them all on a run. A 5 hour long run, with only a 3 minute break for water every now and again*

Yang: fuck, I can't feel my legs

Vernal:I don't remember asking, now hit the showers, before I....

???:Motherfuck the big three, nigga, it's just big me

*Both of them and many more looked at the source of the sound, and saw raven's personal student doing push up, while some orange hair girl was playing a song for her. Yang flinched when she saw ruby. But her curiosity overcame her guilt*

Yang:is that Nora?

Vernal:you have a choice, go talk to her, or take a shower. But you won't be allowed to do both

*Vernal said with her arm crossed, even if she was digging the song. It was not the time for that. Yang looked at Nora, and then at the showers, and she chose. But she chose poorly. Yang walked up to ruby and Nora, she concentrated her gaze on Nora, since she couldn't see ruby without crying*

Yang: hey Nora, what ah....what are you doing here?

Raven:better question. Why aren't you with the other runts

*Raven asked, but she didn't look away from ruby, as for ruby when she heard Yang's voice it filled her with an unexplainable anger, that just pushed her to keep going. Yang looked at Raven*

Yang:vernal told me, it was Either a shower, or talking to Nora. I just wanted to know what she's doing here, after that I'll take a quick shower with what's left

Raven:yeah, good luck with that

*Raven said shaking her head at how irresponsible yang was being. Nora looked at yang smiling, she hit pause at the song*

Nora:I came to visit ruby, so glad to see you two getting closer

Ruby: that's.....an.... exaggeration

*Ruby grunted, as she kept doing push ups, her arms shaking more and more. Yang flinched and looked at another direction, hearing ruby speak, just listening to her voice, just made her want to cry*

Nora:ok, well why are you here yang?

Yang:I....I could ask you the same thing h..heh, I came to become stronger, thought I expected Raven to train me

*Yang admitted, Raven rolled her eyes at Yang's audacity. And finally gave her daughter, her full attention*

Raven:yeah well, you expected wrong. Before any training can begin you have to pass initiation. Only then will I even consider training you

Yang: mother of the Year ladies and gentlemen

*Yang muttered quietly, but Raven heard it loud and clear, she pinched the bridge of her nose, in slight horror*

Raven:I see tai infected you with his sense of humor

Ruby:see if you can....beat it out of...her

*Ruby said, In-between breath. Raven nodded, looking at yang with a evil smile on her face*

Raven:oh believe me, I will. As soon as she finishes initiation

Nora:so! Back to me! I'm here to visit my friend. Hey, who's that woman coming over here?

*Nora asked, pointing behind yang, yang groaned. Knowing who it was vernal made it to them, with her arm crossed*

Vernal:5 minutes are done. Let's go, it's time for you to pull your weight in the clan

Ruby:oh, what....what a shame I'm..... I'm busy, I would've loved to.... To see Yang's face when you.... you show her what she'll do

*Ruby said in between breath. She had a evil smirk on her face, since yang was about to pop her thief cherry. Vernal smirked with ruby, and spared her a glance*

Vernal:heh, I'll make a video for you little Raven.

Ruby/Raven: don't compare me to her

*Ruby and Raven said at the same time, for different reasons. Ruby because she doesn't want to admit, that she's so similar to Raven, as for raven because she knew what ruby was gonna say. Raven tapped Ruby's stomach, but that was all she needed to do, thanks to the big bruise that ruby now had. Ruby grunted, her arms almost buckling from the pain*

Raven:yeah yeah, keep going.

Yang:w..wait, what exactly will I be doing?

*Yang asked nervously, looking in between Raven and vernal. Vernal waved her hand dismissively*

Vernal:there's a shipment coming. You are gonna help us get it.

Yang:oh, that doesn't sound so bad. Uh... I .... I guess bye...

*Yang said awkwardly, Nora waved a big goodbye, Raven went back to concentrating her attention to ruby, and ruby? She could feel Glynda looking at her, seeing what she'll do*

Ruby:....good luck Xiao long. Your gonna need it

Yang:uh y..yeah

*True to her word, yang started to silently cry, just because ruby spoken to her, she turned around quickly and walked away to be with the rest of the runts*

Nora:well. Now that there gone! What did you think of rap?

Ruby:.... I....I didn't hate it

Raven:270 left

*Ruby heard Raven say, she nodded and kept doing push ups, while Nora hit play again*

Nora:oh! Well your gonna love this song of his. It'll really boost your morale points

*Nora said with a big smile, ruby rolled her eyes and just let it happen, even if she didn't understand Nora's references. Ruby heard the new song starting, and she had to admit. It was pretty good, for it not a country song*

Later

*Raven grabbed ruby, and pushed her away from the candles, Ruby's legs were trembling and she fall on her back, she was breathing heavily looking up at the sky*

Raven:1000 push ups, not terrible. Take a break, we'll go back to sword position's after your done

Ruby:y....yes chief

*Ruby said, her eyes started to feel heavy as she was ready to have a nap then and there. Nora got up and turned around*

Nora:welp! I'll see you around ruby, I'll come back to visit later

Ruby:bye... bye.....

*Ruby said, her eyelids becoming even heavier, she was so tired, that she was coming in and out of sleepiness. Raven and Glynda saw Nora walk to a tree, go behind it and just disappear*

Raven:how the hell did she do that?

Glynda:again, Nora Is just Nora. Don't question it, it'll give you a headache.

* Glynda said, grabbed ruby like a princess and taking her with her. Glynda heard Ruby's soft breathing, as she cuddled closer to Glynda's warmth. Glynda smiled a little, even if she was a bit grossed out by all the sweat*
