Pyrrha: I swear to the lords. I'm putting a tracking chip on her.

*Pyrrha said she was absolutely livid. Since you can guess who was the first one to find the letter. Nora was behind pyrrha reading the letter*

Nora: I mean, she'll just be gone for a few days

Pyrrha: That is not the point! We're a team! If she has a mission. We're supposed to be there to support her

*Pyrrha said frustrated to the point that she wanted to pull her hair out. From her perspective, this was ruby again dodging her from having a conversation about what happened in class. Ren, for his part, didn't care. He even smirked a little as he started to change from his PJ's*

Ren: It stands to reason that this mission wasn't from ozpin. So, who cares

Pyrrha: Ren. Buddy. I'm gonna need you to dial back the ruby hate since I'm very pissed off right now and could use a training dummy. If you catch my drift

*Pyrrha said, shooting the only male in the group a glare, that made Ren feel a shiver up his spine, at the thought of him being the training dummy, to take out Pyrrha's frustrations*

Ren: Shutting up now

Pyrrha: So what? Is she doing another mission for the major?

*Pyrrha asked Nora, going back to her conversation with her. Nora grabbed the paper and reread it one more time before she shrugged. Putting the paper back in the table*

Nora: Apparently. You know how she gets when he is involved. She probably didn't want you to get hurt

Pyrrha: I'm the champion of Mistral, I'm not gonna get hurt. What is it going to take for her to get that?!

*Pyrrha yelled, she felt so insulted right now. She is more than capable of fighting. She has proved over and over again to the younger girl. And yet, she just dismisses her, as if it was ok not to acknowledge her accomplishments. Nora shook her head, seeing it differently from Pyrrha*

Nora: I meant emotionally. She's done some stuff for that man. Stuff that you wouldn't be able to accept. If you were there, you would do the absolute most to stop her

Pyrrha: How do you know all this?

*Pyrrha asked Nora, since she didn't think she would know who the major is, or anything really from Ruby's past, since she knows for a fact that ruby only told her and Glynda about it. And even that, it was pieces of it. Nora shrugged with a grin*

Nora: I am Nora. I see all. I am all.

Pyrrha:..... You got high on espresso coffees again, didn't you?

*Pyrrha asked with a sigh. Here she was overanalyzing things. When it was just another time that Nora was just being Nora. You don't question it. You just accept it. Nora's smile became bigger as she nodded enthusiastically*

Nora: Yup! This time, I went back in time! Not so far that I saw dinosaurs. But far enough that I could see what all of us were doing a few years ago

Pyrrha: Ok. I'm just putting that in the category of Nora being Nora

*Pyrrha said with a shake of her head. At the beginning of the school year, she would've just thought that Nora was crazy. But she now knows that somehow, if Nora says something or does something impossible, it's best not to question it, less she gets a migraine for trying. Nora nodded, crossing her arms and looking all professional like*

Nora: It would be for the best. And trust me. Ruby has full confidence in you as a fighter. It's just.....

Pyrrha: Just what?

*Pyrrha asked with a raised eyebrow. Nora pursed her lips a little. She looked like she didn't want to say what she needed to say next. But in the end, she opened her mouth and continued the conversation*

Nora: What she's gonna do. She feels like she needs to do it without her moral compass stopping her. And in this case? That's you

Pyrrha: Oh.

*Pyrrha said simply as she sat down on her bed. On the one hand, it is nice to know that she's ruby's moral compass and that it was noticeable. On the other hand, she had too many negative emotions right now to appreciate that. So with a sharp breath, she got up and started walking out of the room*

Nora: Where are you going?

Pyrrha: to speak with Weiss. She must've known something about where she went

*Pyrrha said and closed the doorWherebefore Nora could say something. Pyrrha walked to team JWBY in record time to team JWBY dorm since Pyrrha was on a warpath and no one dared to stop her or even get in her way. Once she made it to the other team's dorm room, she knocked on the door. It took a moment for jaune to open the door*

Jaune: Pyrrha? Uh. Did we have a date this early? Since I'm kinda getting tutored by Weiss

Pyrrha: No. I'm here to talk to Weiss for a moment. Can I see her?

*Pyrrha asked. Weiss looked up from her book confused, but being raised with manners, she got up and walked to the door, with a polite 75% fake smile on her face*

Weiss: Ah, Pyrrha. What can I help you with?

Pyrrha: Well. I was wondering if. Wait. Where are Blake and Yang? They don't strike me as morning people

*Pyrrha said as she looked inside. Sure enough they were two members of this team also missing, just like Ruby. Only neither jaune nor Weiss looked all too concerned about that. Weiss waved her hand dismissively as she spoke*

Weiss: You would be correct. Blake is off napping on her secret spot where the sun hits just right for her cat side. While yang? Well yesterday she went to a club, she hasn't returned since

Pyrrha: Should we look for her?

*Pyrrha asked, sure she was worried about Ruby, but she was just as equally worried for her other friends. But Weiss shot that down with a shake of her head*

Weiss: Don't concern your team for yang. She's a big girl. She'll come back when she wakes up from whatever trash alley she collapsed in.

Jaune: That's rather mean to say

*Jaune muttered, Weiss spared him a glance before looking back at Pyrrha, who looked like she was inclined to agree with her boyfriend*

Weiss: Mean. But not untruthful. Since neither of you was the one who had to get her from said trash alleyways. Now shush. How can I help you?

Pyrrha: Oh. Right. Well, did Ruby say she was going somewhere last night?

*Pyrrha asked, going back to her original question and the reason why she was at their dorm room so early in the morning. Weiss thought about it for a second, giving a short nod*

Weiss: You know what? she did. But she didn't tell me where

Pyrrha: Well, can you tell me what happened last night ?

*Pyrrha asked, since maybe she can get a clue if she knew what happened last night. Weiss shrugged, putting a sweater over the top part of her pajamas, so it would look more of a relaxed outfit rather than sleep ware*

Weiss: I suppose. Let's walk to the cafeteria while we talk, I could use some coffee. Jaune, I expect the sheet at least half completed when I return, am I clear?

Jaune: I'll try

*Jaune said with a depressed sigh. She instantly regretted asking Weiss for help on his studies. The woman made him study every day for hours at a time. He flinched when she shot him a glare*

Weiss: You can do it or you can't. There is no try.

*Weiss the closeted Star Wars nerd said as she left with Pyrrha. She started to re-tell the events of last night*

Flashback

*We see Weiss and Ruby returning to the dorm side of the castle/school. Weiss had a big smile the whole time they were coming back, while Ruby remained neutral*

Weiss: So, what did you think of your first experience of the theater?

Ruby: It was rather enjoyable. I wouldn't mind doing it again, with the present company included

*Ruby said with a nod. She didn't smile, though. That was fine. Weiss was smiling enough for both of them. They made it to Weiss's dorm room, and they hung out at the entrance as they spoke. Weiss had her hands behind her back. Honestly, she felt as if this was a sort of date*

Present

*When Weiss said date, it brought a fire of jealousy inside of Pyrrha. She forced a smile on her lips as she looked at Weiss*

Pyrrha: I do recall asking you if you knew anything about where she went

Weiss: Indeed, you did. And I'm getting to that piece of information

Back to the past

*Weiss's smile became smaller but still sincere. She was just happy that she found someone to share this interest with, even if it was an outlaw that her father wants dead*

Weiss: Oh, I'm so glad you said that. Since there's this other play coming up, I think you'll enjoy

Ruby: I would enjoy going with you, but let's put a pin on that until my return. Since I have to do a mission. I won't be available for a week or 2

*Ruby explained, which bumped Weiss a little, but still kept a smile up. She was a bit too giddy to be upset.

Weiss: Oh. Definitely. Just come to my dorm when you're back, and we can plan it

Back to the present

Weiss: After that, she gave me a short nod and gave me goodnight before leaving

*Weiss explained as they made it to the cafeteria. Pyrrha sighed as she went into the line with Weiss. Both ordered their food and sat down with Ren, Nora, and Blake, who came back from her hiding spot to eat*

Nora: I take it she didn't know?

Weiss: I did not. But can't you just call her?

*Weiss asked, looking at pyrrha. She pursed her lips deeply as she took a bite of her French toast. She went from angry to being in a huffy mood*

Pyrrha: You honestly think she's gonna pick up?

Nora: You have so little faith that she won't?

*Nora asked with a raised eyebrow. Pyrrha opened her mouth to speak, but no words would come out. Instead, the conversation changed do this and that, with Pyrrha keeping quiet for most of the meal, eating her breakfast.*

Later

*We see Pyrrha alone outside in the flower garden, she was looking at her phone, at her contact with Ruby. She took a breath before calling it. The phone started to ring once, twice, 3 times. Pyrrha was about to hang up when she was surprised that someone picked up*

Ruby: I'm busy at the moment, angel.

Pyrrha: Where are you?

*Pyrrha asked before her brain could control her tongue from speaking. She heard the engine of miracle, if she had to guess, Ruby was on the road*

Ruby: On the road, heading to vacuo. I needed to do some business. You don't need to worry

Pyrrha: I'm not worried. I'm pissed, I'm angry. But most of all? I'm hurt. I'm hurt that you keep doing this!

*Pyrrha said in a loud tone, that gave her a few side eyes from the other people there, but Pyrrha ignored them, she could almost see ruby pursing her lips on the other line, like she always does when she goes quiet*

Ruby:..... I'm sorry that I hurt you. But the things I do? You can't do it. You don't have the strength of character to do what the major asked of me.

Pyrrha: You could've at least talked to me. Instead of leaving with a freaking letter! Not even a personalized letter for me. No no, it was for whoever the fuck found it first

*Pyrrha said, she was honestly not that hurt about that, she was just angry and wanted to be angry about one specific thing, instead of the mess of anger in her brain, that she can't fully process right now*

Ruby: Sorry. I'm... I'm just not used to saying goodbye. Honestly, most of the time people leave me, not the other way around.

Pyrrha: Well, I'm not most people. I care for you ruby, you know this. But it's hard to do that if you can't even have a conversation

*Pyrrha said with a hot sigh as she sank some in the chair. She rubbed her temple, feeling a headache coming on. Ruby, for her part, revved her engine, running past a cop. She smirked a little when the red and blue lights blared and started chasing her*

Ruby: What would be the point of it? You would've wanted to come, I would've said no. It would've just dragged out my departure

Pyrrha: The point of it was so that I know where you would be, so that I know that you trust me enough to be straight with me

* Pyrrha explained, as she unintentionally figured out why she was so mad. She believed that Ruby didn't trust her enough. She heard ruby with deeply*

Ruby: First of all. I'm not straight. Secondly, you know I trust you, angel.

Pyrrha: Just not enough to tell me the truth?

*Pyrrha counter, making ruby feel frustrated, since she was so caught up in the conversation that she almost got caught, by the cop*

Ruby: Fine. Do you want the truth? I'm.....

*Ruby took a sharp breath to calm down. She almost slipped and let her know what she was going to do. She took a few breaths to calm down*

Ruby: Look. I do trust you, ok? I trust you more than anyone. For heaven's sake, I've let myself let my guard down whenever I'm with you. Isn't that enough?

Pyrrha: Maybe for someone from vacuo. But in the rest of the world? No.

*Pyrrha said flatly. Ruby rolled her eyes as she pressed a button, making her bike turned into the metallic horse, and jumped off an unfinished bridge to the other side without a scratch and kept running away*

Ruby: Well, I don't know what to tell you. I was raised by force in vacuo, I'm an outlaw so I don't trust easy or at all for that matter and I'm a snake faunus, that doesn't make it easy for me to trust people. But I do trust you, angel, honest

Pyrrha: I wish I could believe that. Look, I'm not mad, Ruby. I'm just really disappointed.

*Pyrrha said with a shake of her head, as she got up and started walking inside the school. Ruby squinted her eyes at the road, trying to concentrate on the wind on her face, instead of the words from Pyrrha's mouth*

Ruby: Ok. Well, there's nothing I can do about that. I gotta go, I'll talk to you when the mission is over

*Ruby said, hanging up and looking at her phone with a frown. Her lips were deeply pursed for what Pyrrha just said. Even with all the medication she's on. She still felt hurt over what Pyrrha said. She sighed and shook her head as she kept her long ride to vacuo*
