With Pyrrha wanting answers, and she will get those answers after class, that she promises*

Now

Days later, at the end of the week

*So Pyrrha didn't talk to Ruby after class after class. Ruby spends time with Neo and, by extension, team CRME. Everyone knew it was for the mission. But that didn't stop Pyrrha's jealousy from growing. We see her now in front of the team CRME's door and knock it. She waited a bit, but the door opened by the silver haired boy of the team named Mercury*

Mercury: ah, Mistral champion. What can I do for you?

Pyrrha: Hello. I was simply wondering if Ruby was available

*Pyrrha said calmly, Mercury looked inside of the room, then at Pyrrha, looking at her up and down, as if she was a threat, which frankly was slightly insulting for Pyrrha But she held her tongue*

Mercury: she might be here. What's it worth to yah?

Pyrrha: it's worth me not grabbing your nuts and crushing them until they pop

*Pyrrha said with a smile that told Mercury she wasn't kidding. He trembled a little and opened the door to let Pyrrha inside. Pyrrha walked inside and was shocked at what she saw. Ruby, yes. Ruby with human skin again, yes. Ruby with human skin even in her once reptilian hand, yes
But so much more than that. Ruby was wearing make up, she had her hair done up nice. And the thing that shocked Pyrrha the most was that ruby rose, the rose of vacuo was wearing a dress*

*And she looked beautiful. Pyrrha felt as if the air in her lungs had just disappeared. She had a blush growing on her face as Ruby finally looked at her with a raised eyebrow*

Ruby: The sam Hill, you looking at angel?

Pyrrha: o..oh. sorry. It's just... you uh,... W..well....

*Pyrrha stumbled on her words, ruby shrugged and grabbed her clutch from the nightstand and looked at it, with a confused look on her face*

Ruby: I still don't get it. What's the point of this damned thing. It's not even big enough to carry one of my guns

Cinder: it's just a high-class thing.  You carry small things, like lipstick, pepper spray, stuff of that nature

*Cinder explained, as she and Ruby looked at Pyrrha, who shook her head and calmed down a little. But she still has a blush and a nervous smile on her face*

Pyrrha: Ruby. What's with all...of this ?

Ruby: Going to the opera with Weiss, remember? I would rather not have to deal with her, complaining about how I didn't dress appropriately. So I bought this with Neo yesterday

*Ruby said, Pyrrha saw neo use her sign language and whatever she said, made ruby chuckle softly. She even winked at the girl*

Ruby: Thank you. Maybe next time I can see you naked in the dressing room~

Pyrrha: You said that. Yay

*Pyrrha said with a forced smile, feeling uncomfortable with the situation. Since just because she's with jaune, doesn't mean that her feelings for ruby went away, maybe that's selfish of her, but hey. She's only human. Ruby glanced at her and started walking away*

Ruby: Yeah. Well. I would rather not be late. It would be rude. I'll see you around Pyrrha. I'll definitely see you later, neo~

Neo' I'll hold you do that cowgirl '

*Neo signed, raising her eyebrows repeatedly. Pyrrha didn't want to know what she said, but she followed Ruby, quickly catching up with the smaller girl. She grabbed her arm, stopping her in her place. Ruby remained calm and looked at Pyrrha. Pyrrha released her when she heard Ruby's tail inside of her dress, rattling a little*

Pyrrha: Sorry. It's just. Didn't think you would stop if I just asked you to.

Ruby: You're right. I wouldn't. If you have something to say, say it quick. These heels are killing me already
Honestly, I've been shot in the leg before, and somehow, this feels more painful

*Ruby said with a small huff of amusement, but Pyrrha couldn't see it. She couldn't see any emotion behind Ruby's eyes. It worried her. There was so much she wanted to ask. But she only had time for one question: "

Pyrrha: What's....what's going on ruby?

Ruby: I'm going to the opera with Weiss. That's what is going on

*Ruby said simply. Pyrrha looked like she had a million questions to ask. But she couldn't ask a single one of them. Her mind was a jumble mess of emotions. So she takes a strained breath and speaks again, in a more softer tone*

Pyrrha: You're right. You're busy, and I'm sorry. How... how about we go out for coffee tomorrow? Just the two of us.

Ruby: Fine. I'll answer whatever you want to know. Though I should warn you, you'll probably won't like the answers I'll give you

*Ruby said, with very little emotion behind her voice. Pyrrha bit down on her lower lip in concern for her friend. She opened her mouth, but no words would come out. This repeated for a few seconds before she finally found her voice*

Pyrrha: That's fine. I...I just want to make sure you're ok. And... you are ok, right?

Ruby: Well.... It's quiet.

*Ruby admitted that since she didn't lower her dosage. Quite the opposite, she increased it. Not a lot, mind you. But enough where it's noticeable a change in her whole attitude. At the end of the day, Ruby chose the water down option. She just didn't want to hear them again. Even if that meant losing another piece of herself. Pyrrha frowned softly, at the explanation her friends gave her*

Pyrrha: That didn't answer my question

Ruby: I know.

*Ruby said with a shrug, as she was starting to scare pyrrha a little, seeing as Ruby had absolutely no emotions showing on her face or tone. What Pyrrha couldn't have known. Is that Ruby was currently on a stronger dosage of her pill, so she was blank as when she had her last therapy session with glynda.*

Pyrrha: Ruby. Why does it feel like you enjoy the company of Cinder and her people over my own?

Ruby: Hmm..  they are many types of monsters in this world. Monsters who will not show themselves and who cause trouble. Monsters who abduct children. Monsters who devour dreams. Monsters who suck blood. And then their monsters like Cinder and myself. Monsters who always tell lies.

*Ruby said as she kept looking at Pyrrha with an unreadable expression on her face, making pyrrha feel like a prey when a snake made itself look bigger to be more intimidating. But Ruby kept talking, taking a step closer to Pyrrha, and to give Pyrrha credit, she didn't take a step back. Since she trusted that Ruby wouldn't hurt her.*

Ruby: Monsters that lie are a real nuisance. They are much more cunning than other monsters, fbeh lose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart. They eat even though they've never experienced hunger. They study even though they have no interest in academics. They seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. So you ask me why I'm more comfortable with them? Why wouldn't i be comfortable with my own kind?

*Ruby said as she turned around and walked away from Pyrrha. Even in a dress and all dolled up, since the events of the last chapter, people gave her room to walk, not wanting to anger the psychotic girl*

Ruby" I wonder how long, till she realizes that she asked me on a date"

*Ruby thought as she disappeared from Pyrrha's sight. Pyrrha didn't move. She kept her gaze at ruby till she disappeared. She touched her heart, feeling it still beating at a rather fast state. She took a shaky breath and walked back to her room, thinking about everything that happened just a moment ago*

Pyrrha" I'm... I'm gonna have to write a list of what I'll say to her. "

*Pyrrha thought, as she remained in silence until she opened the door to her dorm room. She smiled a little, seeing a nervous Jaune there, waiting for her. Jaune got up nervously, with that smile that Pyrrha found endearing*

Jaune: h..hey Pyrrha, since you've been a...a bit down in the dumps, so to speak, I uh...I thought we could go out. And I could cheer you up

Pyrrha: That sounds lovely, jaune. Thank you

Meanwhile, with ruby

*Ruby made it to team JWBY's room and knocked on the door. She waited for a moment before it was opened. Weiss eyes widen completely when she sees ruby. She actually looked like someone who goes to high-class things like the opera*

Weiss: Ruby? R..ruby rose?

Ruby: Do you want me to bite ya to prove who I am?

*Ruby said, opening her mouth and showing Weiss her fangs, showing it was indeed her. Meanwhile, in the background inside the room, yang was absolutely floored, seeing a completely human skinned ruby rose*

Weiss: that... that won't be necessary. Sorry, I'm just....surprised. I didn't expect you to get...well like this.

Ruby: Well, as they say. In for a penny in for a pound. Might as well make the most of this experience and dress for the part.

* Ruby said, looking at herself, she wants to say she looked good. But she honestly doesn't have the energy to care how she looked. Weiss was in such a state of shock that her mouth opened faster than her brain could think*

Weiss:.... I love you.

Ruby: Thanks, but you don't meet my requirements to date.

*Ruby said, looking at Weiss up and down. Ruby had the smallest of smirks on her face, but it was there. Weiss blushed in embarrassment, and she quickly got her thoughts in order. She smiled brightly at ruby*

Weiss: Sorry, sorry, it's just.... You're actually giving this a shot! I'm overjoyed. When I dragged your sister or Blake to the opera, they complained the whole way, even while the show was going on! It was mortifying!

Blake: And I'm sure if Yang could speak, she would say that it's your own fault, to think that we would enjoy a 4 hour opera experience.

*Blake said, not taking her eyes off her book. While yang looked as if she would start crying, seeing the girl ruby would've been, if it wasn't for her mistake. Weiss scowled at Blake and whipped her hair at her, with a huff*

Weiss: hmph, it's not my fault. You all have no class

Ruby: Hmm. Well, shall we get going? Unlike them, I'm more than willing to do just that. I'm used to sitting still for hours, waiting for my target

*Ruby said calmly, as she moved aside to let Weiss come out. Weiss gave a short nod and walked out of the room. She couldn't stop staring at Ruby*

Weiss: not exactly what we'll be doing, but you've got spirit. Yes. Let's go, I even got my limousine butler waiting for us. Oh, this is gonna be a ball, I can feel it.

Ruby: All right. I would say that you two have a good night....but we both know I wouldn't mean that

*Ruby said to Blake and yang, as she left with Weiss. Blake rolled her eyes and splashed a bit of water to yang, bringing her back to the real world*

Yang: What? What just happened ? I blacked out

Blake: Ruby came to pick Weiss up on their basically date

*Blake said with a flip of the page of her book. Yang shot the black haired girl a small glare, a glare that Blake ignored*

Yang: You know, you gotta let that hatred go eventually

Blake: I will as soon as Ruby. Let's go of her hatred for you

*Blake said without a care. For 5 seconds. Then she closed her book and sighed since she knew she crossed the line. Yang gave Blake a hurt look on her face, as she spoke with a sad tone in her voice*

Yang:.....that was a low blow Blake

Blake: You're right, you're right, I'm sorry. It's just...argh. it's frustrating! Adam was supposed to be my kill! I'm the one who deserved it more than her! I'm the one who he hurt more than her! I was denied everything, even my revenge!

*Blake yelled, letting her hatred show. Yang sat down next to Blake and rubbed her back, making Blake feel that even if only a little, it made Blake feel better for physical support. Yang opened her mouth, her tone much softer, but it still had a hint of sadness behind it*

Yang: You do know that Adam didn't just hurt you, right? He hurt a lot of people. Do those people not deserve revenge?

Blake: Not as much as me. They didn't suffer as much as I had suffered, they didn't experience what I experienced, they didn't see what I saw. I don't care if the world calls me selfish, I don't care if people who later read my story in a book call me selfish. This is just how I feel. And I feel that I should've been the one to kill him

*Blake said with a sigh. She knew she didn't have any rights since that's not how the world works. She knows that, but she still has the right to feel like she did. Yang moved her hand and hugged Blake's shoulder, Blake rested her head on Yang's shoulder and calmed down*
