* After eating, Ruby got out of her hut and looked up. How could she not look up when there was a giant freaking robot standing looking like it's protecting the tribe?

Ruby: God aunty is so fucky extra. Let's not hide the giant fucking robot. No, no, no, let's use it. And show it off as a big middle finger to her ex boyfriend. To come and try to take it

*Ruby said to herself, as she walked to raven's hut. Unlike yang, ruby actually knocked on the door loudly. Since she knows better, then to open the door of Raven, she has enough nightmares thank you very much. It didn't take long for the door to open, and for raven to look at ruby, with a raised eyebrow*

Raven: You're finally awake. And used the silver eyes to heal yourself. I should punish you for that, you should count yourself lucky, that I don't

Ruby: Yes, yes, you are such a benevolent chief. What are you gonna do with the giant robot now?

*Ruby asked as she walked past her inside. Raven frowned slightly since the words were there. But the emotion in her tone wasn't. She closed the door and looked at the back of her niece*

Raven: You're... Taking the pills again, huh?

Ruby: Had no choice in the matter. That sick fuck, returned the second I woke up. I.. don't like the pills, but I hate him more

*Ruby said, crossing her arms. Not in an annoyed way, more like she was hugging herself, thinking of that man. Seeing him again. It terrified her, especially since she spent the last 3 unconscious days, being used by him, and the other voices. Raven nodded as she walked close to her, pointing casually at her fridge*

Raven: I get that. But you know, if you want him gone, and want your feelings back too. The cactus juice is still in my fridge

Ruby: Nah. I....I also don't want to go back to that. The drink made the voices silent, but looking back on it. I was a sad drunk.

*Ruby said with a small frown, and a purse of her lips, as she thought of her time under the cactus juice, all her time speaking with Glynda, made it hard to go back to that life. At least for now, Raven looked at the smaller girl. With a raised eyebrow*

Raven: Ok. Then what are you gonna do when the mission is over?

Ruby: Thought of asking the shnee boy, for some sort of deal, where he brings me the pills. But that's a future problem.

*Ruby said with a shrug, as they made it to the living room, and sat down on the couch. Raven was still standing as she petted Ruby's hair as they spoke. Ruby didn't bring attention to it, even acted as if nothing was happening*

Raven: Fine, that's your business. So what's going on, with the whole face thing? Why does it look normal?

Ruby:... Part of the mission. Let's.... Let's leave it at that

*Ruby said softly as she touched her cheek. It was still human, Raven wanted to ask more. But she kept her mouth shut. She had her own problems to deal with. So she just shrugged and started walking away*

Raven: Ok. Well, since you are up, come with me. My associate is gonna be here soon to take the giant robot off my hands

Ruby: Fine.

*Ruby said as she got up and walked behind Raven, and both didn't speak to one another. They were busy in their own worlds, for raven, she was thinking of the deal she got for her clan. While ruby, kept caressing her own cheek, feeling how perfect it was, after so long of it being disfigured, deceased, infected, with the snake's DNA. Sadly, someone stopped her from continuing touching her face*

Yang: Ruby! You're awake!

Ruby: And you are as loud as ever

*Ruby said with a sigh as she looked at yang. Yang, on the other hand, just smiled brightly at her. She completely ignored her mother since she didn't care about her*

Yang: How are you feeling? You don't have any bandages. Are you ok?

Ruby: I'm getting a headache. I'm fine, I heald my physical wounds, with my silver eyes. Now, as you can see. Me and the chief are walking someplace

*Ruby said with a frown. She didn't like how close yang think the two of them have gotten. She acts as if they were friends, when in reality, ruby just got used to her and tolerates her presence more. Yang just shrugged*

Yang: ok. Well, uh. How about we train together? After you're done. With whatever it is you're doing

Ruby:.... I'll think about it. But for now. Don't you have work to do. With the other low lever tribesman?

*Ruby asked as she looked behind Yang, and saw a group of newly accepted tribesmen looking at yang annoyed that she just left them doing the work again. Yang sighed with a nod*

Yang: Fine. But I'm gonna hold you to that, us training things

Ruby: Yeah, yeah....

*Ruby froze, and so did Raven at what she saw. Yang hugged ruby it was a quick hug, but it was still a hug. She smiled and left running back to the others on her group*

Ruby: Did...did she just hug me?

Raven: Yes, she did

*Raven said as she returned to her walk. Ruby wasn't far behind her, and Ruby became calm as the pills helped with that. She didn't feel anger. At most, she felt annoyed. But Ruby knew she was supposed to feel angry about what just happened.

Ruby: I'm gonna make sure that she ends up bleeding when I fight her....

Scene change

*Raven opened the door and let ruby inside. They walked inside, and Ruby saw the man. Who was Raven's associate. A man she's met before, for a brief moment. The man who had his feet on the table, drinking a cup of tea, looked up at the two women who had something he wanted*

Arthur: Raven. And Ruby Rose. Isn't this a surprise?

Raven: Have you met Ruby before?

*Raven asked, as the two of them sat down. Raven grabbed a cup of tea and started drinking. While Ruby just remained quiet, since this was something she wanted to keep a secret*

Flashback

Ruby' that would imply that there were other roses out there that you like, oh you hurt me. I thought that I was your one and only'

* Ruby signed with her fingers, Neo gave a fake giggle as she fluttered her eyelashes at ruby*

Neo'well now. Why don't you tell me why you are here?'

Ruby' I'm here because I was invited by Salem. What about you?'

*Ruby signed as they walked behind the humanoid goop of Grimm sludge. Neo shrugged as she gave Ruby a crooked grin*

Neo' you wanted in, on what we're doing. So Salem called all of her most trusted hench people so that we can evaluate you. Hope you don't disappoint. I should go, good luck

Ruby' luck is for the fools, skill is for the gifted, like us'

*Ruby signed as she turned around and walked inside the room, that the monster stopped on and held the door for her. Neo grabbed her umbrella weapon and walked away. Almost giddy at what they'll talk about.

Scene change

* Ruby was showered, clean, and clothed, as she was in the main hallway. Waiting for the rest to get there. She heard a soft chuckle, of the goddess that could kill her, without much difficulty*

Salem: Ruby rose. I imagine you've heard quite a lot about me. From people out there. My husband, by paper being one of them

Ruby:Yes. I've heard of you. Salem. The witch who can never die

*Ruby said, without a hint of fear, as she turned around and saw Salem walk past her and sit down on her throne. She rested her head on one of her hands as she looked down at the cowgirl, with a calm smile on her face*

Salem:And I've heard about you, ruby rose. The girl who can never live

Ruby: Aren't we a pair?

*Ruby said with a soft chuckle, as she turned around And with her reptilian hand, grabbed a man by his neck and slammed him on the table, breaking it, the man grunted in the ground as he chuckled*

Ruby: I don't know who you are. But attacking me, by jumping down from the ceiling. Wasn't a good idea

Tyrian: hehehehehe me? Oh. I'm just someone who likes to shake things up...

*Tyrian said, laughing in between words. Ruby felt the tip of his tail inject her. But that didn't lessen Ruby's grip on his neck. In fact, it made Ruby give out a twisted smile*

Ruby: Ah. Scorpion venom. What a pathetic excuse of a poison. I would show you what true poison looks like, FEELS like

*Ruby hiss, as a drop of her venom started to fall down from one of her snake teeth. The drop fell, and it was about to touch Tyrian's eye before Ruby moved his head out of the way*

Ruby: If it was in any other circumstance. Be thankful that I'm not stupid enough to have a fight. In front of your protection

*Ruby spat, as she tossed Tyrian to the ground, the man held his throat breathing deeply, laughing as he breathed. The man wasn't all there, in the head. But Ruby isn't one to talk since she also wasn't all there anymore. She glanced at Salem, who watched all that happen, and did nothing*

Ruby: Is it wise to have a wild card in your organization?

Salem: when it's one that is completely and totally loyal to me. Yes. Tyrian?

*Salem asked, like the good trained dog that he is, Tyrian ran to Salem and kneeled down in front of her. He didn't even dare look her in the eyes*

Tyrian: Yes, my lady, what is it you need? Just say, and I'll do it. Want me to kill this doubter?

Salem: That all depends, if she's truthful or not, by the time this meeting is over.

*Salem said and gave Ruby a small look. Ruby didn't react. She wasn't wet behind the ears enough to give Salem a reaction since she knew that any sort of reaction would be a death sentence for her. Salem stopped looking at her, and her gaze fell back to Tyrian*

Salem: For now, go get us a new table

Tyrian: Yes, my lady

* tyrian said with a nod and started walking away. Ruby looked at him go with disgust. He had no collar to speak of. But he made himself a willing slave to Salem, no different than Qrow really*

Ruby" wonder who would win in a fight of who could kiss the most ass, the chameleon or the bird"

Salem: bold to assume I would've protected him

*Salem said after Tyrian left, ruby just shrugged, and unlike Tyrian, she looked at Salem straight in the eyes, without fear, if anything. There was only slight boredom behind them*

Ruby: he still holds value. I, on the other hand, you are still unsure about. You would've stopped me before I did anything permanent. Of that, I'm sure of

Salem: it's a dangerous thing to think you are sure of anything, I was sure ozma would take my side against the gods. And look where that got me

*Salem said with a small wave at herself, ruby looked at her up and down, and had the bravery or stupidity, to snort at the goddess of the grimm*

Ruby: Hmm, I suppose you're right. Cowering away in your world. Scared of your husband and those gods truly a disappointing sight. Do you wanna know something? When I first saw you, I was actually afraid of you. Petrified. But now? When I see your fear, your uncertainty to attack. I just pity you

*Ruby said. And then was raised to the air. She felt a tentacle wrapping itself around Ruby's neck tightly. As it raised her up, she glanced down. And saw the tentacle, came from inside Salem's dress. Just like she did with ozma, Ruby managed to anger Salem. Only Salem was more reserved, with her anger*

Salem: I would hold your tongue, little girl. Make no mistake, that the only reason you are alive is because I allow it and find you mildly amusing

Ruby: Like you said, it's a dangerous thing to be sure of anything. And what makes you so sure that I want to still be alive?

*Ruby said with a small grin. Salem didn't say anything else and put ruby down. Ruby rubbed her neck a little as they waited for the others to arrive. It didn't take long. They were smart enough not to make Salem wait. And Ruby was able to see Salem's team. Safe to say ruby was unimpressed*

Salem: Now that everyone is here. We can begin.....

Back to the present since I gotta milk that plot line for every drop :D

Arthur: You could say that. But we are not here for pleasantries. You have something I want, something my boss wants, and I intend to bring it to her

*Arthur said, taking a sip of his tea, Raven nodded, and reluctantly, she tossed the keys to Arthur. She's not gonna lie. She's gonna miss that big "fuck you James" middle finger of a robot*

Arthur: good. This will please my employer.

Raven: is this someone. I'm gonna meet any time soon?

*Raven asked, making Arthur scoffed in indignation, he hated this part of his job. He could be reverse engineering that huge robot right about now, but instead, he has to put in line, a big fish in a small pond*

Arthur: wouldn't count on it. Not as long as your brother is alive. We can't risk, you having a change of heart, and spilling everything to him

Raven: I can assure you, that won't be happening

*Raven said in a cold tone, with a mix of a scowl and a glare. But Arthur was unimpressed, and quite honestly bored by the big fish's reaction, as he spoke with authority*

Arthur: and I can assure you, your word doesn't mean shit. You'll stay in your lane until told other wise. Do I make myself clear?

Raven:.... Transparently clear.

*Raven said through gritted teeth, as they all got up and walked out of the room. Arthur and ruby walked much slower than Raven. That's when ruby felt, Arthur leave something in her pocket, he got real close to Ruby's ear before he spoke in a soft tone, so only she could hear him*

Arthur: a reward from our lady, for taking the eldest shnee Bishop, out of the chest board, as asked. Salem rewards those, who can complete the missions she gives them

*Arthur whispered, before he walked normally, reaching Raven. While ruby stayed at the back of them both, she felt her heart race, as she grabbed what was in her pocket. She could feel it and knew instantly what it was. It was another vyle. Another one with the liquid to make her normal again.*
