*Raven asked with a squint of her eyes, vernal winced a little and signaled for raven to look for herself*

Now

*It's been a week since the last chapter, and things have been quiet. And ruby isn't sure she likes it*

Glynda: you can call her you know

Ruby: I don't know what your talking about

*Ruby grumbled, she was currently practicing her writing skills, but her eyes kept gazing at her phone. Glynda sighed looking at the finished practice sheets*

Glynda: well, all your practice sentences, are related to Pyrrha nikos. So I'm gonna take a guess that you want her to call you, or text you

Ruby:.... It's just, it's weird. Normally she texted me at least once a day. But now it's been a week and....

*Ruby stopped talking and pursed her lips, as she tried to find the foreign words. Glynda huffed a bit amused, as she told ruby the word for her*

Glynda: "worried" you are worried you hurt her feelings

Ruby:hey I was getting there

*Ruby said in a huff, Glynda nodded in agreement rubbing Ruby's hair which made ruby squirm a little*

Glynda: you were. But let's be honest it would've taken you another 5 minutes for you to eventually spit out, that you care about other people's feelings

Ruby:.....to be fair, in vacuo they don't care about feelings

*Ruby muttered with her arm crossed feeling embarrassed, Glynda had to admit, ruby looked cute when she was embarrassed. Her cheeks looked like she was a chipmunk who had acorns filled in them*

Glynda: but in Mistral they do. Now. You can either keep glancing at your phone. Or you can be the brave girl I know you are and call her yourself

Raven:yo brat. Let's go. I've got a mission for us to do

*Raven said, opening the door to Ruby's hut without permission or even knocking, much to Glynda's annoyance. Ruby sighed in relief seeing this as her out, and she took it*

Ruby:yes chief.

Raven:oh and glynda, if you could check on yang in a while from now, that would be great

*Raven said dismissively, thankfully for her, no one saw the ever so pink cheeks, Raven had on her face. Glynda looked at Raven confused*

Glynda: I suppose but is something wrong with her

Raven: well.... You'll know it when you see it. Come on rubes

*Raven said walking away. Ruby nodded and got up from her chair and stretched*

Ruby: yes chief

Glynda:be safe ruby

*Raven said as she started walking away. Ruby was half way there when she stopped, she walked backwards fast and kissed Glynda on the cheek, taking her by surprise*

Ruby:I'll...be sure to stay safe

*Ruby muttered, her face completely crimson as she all but ran to catch up with Raven. When she did, ruby coughed a bit trying to get her face back in control*

Ruby:so. What's going on with Xiao long?

Scene change

*we see Raven and ruby together, seeing a yang in the fetal position, refusing to get up and train*

Ruby:what the hell happened to her?

Raven:......

Flashback

*We see husband and wife in raven's house. Vernal was serving them both tea, as they just looked at each other. Tai was glaring at raven. While Raven just looking at tai calmly, not showing that his presence is affecting her in any way shape or form. Vernal came back, and put the drinks on the table between them*

Vernal: here's your refreshment, and for the love of the gods, talk to each other. Don't have a pissing contest on who can stare the longest

Raven: fine fine. You can go now

*Raven said with a dismissive wave, vernal sighed knowing this could only end badly. But not her circus, not her monkeys, so she left, leaving the couple alone*

Raven: she worries too much don't you think?

Tai:.....

*Tai kept glaring at raven, who grabbed back her now cold coffee and drank it, it still tastes better than that hot leaf juice that vernal calls a tea*

Raven: so are we gonna get into talking, or are we just gonna stay here gazing at each others eyes all day?

Tai: fuck you

*Tai finally spoke, Raven placed her coffee down and leaned back on her couch*

Raven: ok talking then

Tai: what in the ever loving fuck did you make MY daughter go through?!

*Tai yelled completely outraged, of what qrow told him what was going on. Raven raised an eyebrow unamused*

Raven: first of all you ass She's our daughter

Tai: oh so now you decide that she's your daughter?!

*Tai asked with his arm crossed, he was so close of breaking the promise he made to his mother and hitting a woman. But Raven remained the calmed one of the two*

Raven: don't be an ass, she's always been my daughter. How is it my fault that you've never brought her here to visit?

Tai:....Raven your semblance is TELEPORTATION!!

*Tai yelled even louder, getting on raven's face. Raven looked at him for a second, and then cleaned the spit from his face*

Raven:and I'm also the chief of this village. I can't be gone for that long. See this wouldn't have been a problem if you would've just come with me, to live here, so many things would've been so much better for everybody

Tai: oh, so my daughter would've grown up to be a thief, what a great future she would've had

*Tai said said sarcastically. Now Raven was annoyed. Since tai insulted what she did, what her father did. What 8 generations of her family did. So she went for the jugular*

Raven: yes because staying with you has worked wonders for her. Didn't she get her little sister killed?

*Raven said, and the look tai gave her made it all worth it, he got real quiet and the snarl he had downgraded into a sad frown*

Tai: that was an accident and you know it

Raven: getting a child killed is considered an accident? Here I thought they called that involuntary manslaughter.

*Raven said coldly, in a almost uncaring tone. As she got up, and placed her finger on tai's chest, and pointing it hars*

Raven: Really father of the year. You get one killed, and you made the other so pathetically weak, that she can't take even 10 minutes of being beaten up

Tai:will you shut up about that. You have no right to talk to me about things like that.

*Tai said softly but so coldly, his eyes piercing her so hard, that it made Raven smirk a little. She did kinda miss this part of him*

Raven:of course I do. I'm your wife, I'm supposed to call you out on things like this. Oh, wait. I think you might be thinking of your Mistress summer.

Tai:oh please, tell me that you actually care

*Tai said with a scoffed, he winced when raven slapped him at the back of his head, and looked at him annoyed *

Raven:you slept with my best friend, had a child with her, and made her yang's mother. Your right, why would anyone be bothered by that?

Tai:.....

*Tai stayed quiet since he never considered raven's perspective on things. Raven on the other hand was just getting started*

Raven:Or maybe I'm annoyed because it only took you 3 fucking months to start dating summer, tell me something you absolute piece of human garbage. Did it take you long? To decide that my feelings don't matter?

Tai;Raven....

*Tai tried to say something, but Raven shut him up, by slapping him and slapping him hard.*

Raven:shut up! Because I'm not done. You've opened this box, and now you are gonna stand there and take it like a man

*Raven growled, as she grabbed him by his collar, and pulled him close to her. So he couldn't escape, couldn't look anywhere else, but at the eyes of the woman that he promised would be there for through sickness and in health, through rich or poor. And like a fool Raven believed those words. So now it was Tai's turn to listen*

Raven:maybe I'm annoyed, because when I asked you to come to the tribe with me. It was to rule next to me. Because I wanted what was best for our family. And what was BEST was to not play ozpin's game. Since summer played it, and look where that got her.

*Raven said. And then started to have an almost insane laugh, tai just released decades of repressed feelings from Raven, and she's so not used to them, that she's laughing about it*

Raven:But hahaahahah, that doesn't matter right? Cause I'm Raven. My feelings don't matter. No no no, I'm the heartless monster who abandoned her child. While you are the super dad who stepped up. No one mentions how I tried. No one mentions how you cheated on me. No no. None of that matters. All that matters is that you are a superdad right?

Tai:.....

*Tai didn't know what to say, much less do. He was expecting a fight, he was expecting lies and half truths. Not to be put on the spot like that. Raven scoffed and pushed him down into the couch*

Raven: what's wrong big man? Cat's got your tongue? Fantastic, now shut up and listen. Yang came here of her own free will. She wanted to be trained by me, she wanted to get actually strong. Since what you taught her is so obsolete that I'm surprised she's still alive. Since you do have a record of getting your children killed. Now if we're done here. I've got better things to do, than to talk with a failure of a husband, and a mediocre father.

Later with yang

*We see her better ready for some more training with her mother, she went straight to her house and opened the door without knocking*

Yang: hey mom, wanna go OH MY GOD MY EYES!!!

*yang yelled as she left running since she just saw her mother and father naked in the middle of having sex. Raven and Tai looked at the opened door, and then back at each other

Tai: I think we should stop

Raven: oh, yes. Because you care so much about her don't you? So much that you didn't even get them a babysitter

*Raven said breathlessly, and that got the reaction she wanted, since angry tai is the best tai when they're having sex. Thankfully vernal came by and closed the door for them, so that other people don't get traumatized*

Back to the present

Raven: I have no idea. Let Glynda worry about that, wanna go out and hunt slavers? Got word something going down up north

Ruby: always. Let's go

*Ruby said as they left yang there, the poor girl was reliving what she saw, and worse than that. Her brain was making up scenarios of what happened after she left*

Yang:oh God....so hairy.... So so hairy.....
