Fleur:.... How much longer till Glynda comes back from beacon?

Ruby:two hours.....

Now

The next day

*Fleur stayed more than the two hours. She stayed a whole extra day, because both of them didn't want it to end, and just wanted to be a little greedy. It was morning, and again ruby woke up in the arms of fleur. Ruby took a breath, and started to get up, but fleur pulled her back in, making ruby chuckle*

Ruby:fleur. It's time to wake up

Fleur:mh, no... If we wake up, it becomes real. This ends, when we both wake up

*Fleur said softly, making ruby sighed. Since she gets it, she also didn't want it to end, but it has to. So she pushed herself higher and in a rare show of vulnerability, she kissed fleur's temple, making the older girl squirm.*

Ruby: I'll get the bath started for you.

Fleur:thanks....

*Fleur said with a sigh, as she opened her eyes, and watch the girl who makes her feel things no one else does, just walk away from her. Fleur sighed again. This time sadder as she looked up at the ceiling, remembering the words her mama once told her*

Fleur" it takes more than love to make a relationship work. you can love someone with all your heart, but if it's the wrong time, someone is gonna be waiting for the other to catch up"

With ruby

*After she finished drawing fleur a bath. She went to get a bite to eat, she saw Glynda there sipping her coffee, with breakfast for the other girls. Glynda put down her phone and looked at ruby*

Glynda: hello ruby. Is your friend gonna join us?

Ruby:after she gets out of the bath I drew her. We got a good 20 minutes, so go on and ask away

*Ruby asked with a sigh, as she sat down and started eating her food. Glynda remained with a calm expression on her face as she spoke*

Glynda: Pyrrha and yang already gave me enough to fill the the wholes. So is there anything you would like to talk about?

Ruby: not particularly, but if I don't you'll just force it out of me

*Ruby muttered, as she took an aggressive bite of her blood pudding, Glynda today made ruby a full atlas breakfast aka a full English breakfast. Glynda herself to another sip of her coffee, before she kept poking the bear that is ruby*

Glynda:so.....

Ruby: fine, yes I know it's fucked up, and hypocritical that I let fleur make me into a husk, like I used to be with Jake

*Ruby spat out with hatefulness in her tone, still Glynda saw it as progress, that ruby didn't refer to him as " that sick fuck"*

Glynda: it's not the healthiest of hobbies no.

Ruby: it's just... It's easier. So much easier to just be like that

*Ruby said in a low tone, her lips were pursed, as she thought on the words that she just said, she couldn't help but feel disgusted at herself, for being so weak*

Glynda:your not gonna like what I'm gonna say

Ruby:probably not. But I bet I already know what it is

*Ruby said with a pathetic attempt at a chuckle, that didn't really materialize and died in her throat, Glynda sighed, and ripped it off like a band-aid*

Glynda: you miss how he treated you. At least to some degree

Ruby:.....

*Ruby stopped eating after she heard that. And slowly placed her fork and knife down in the table, looking as if she ate sour grapes. Glynda got up. And sat closer to her*

Glynda: ruby, it's completely normal to feel like that. A lot of survivors suffer through the same thing. Please keep talking. Don't close yourself when you've already opened yourself to speak with me

Glynda:now? We eat. After your little visit leaves, we'll discuss more in depth at our therapy session.

Ruby: ok...thank you for the food

*Ruby said with a small smile of her own and kept eating, Glynda smile became a little bigger, as she went and grabbed her mug*

Glynda: my pleasure, how are the pills treating you?

Ruby: there.... Well they're working

*Ruby said, and just as her smile came, It left. As Glynda looked at her with concern*

Glynda:but?

Ruby: I don't know, lately since I've been taking them, I've felt like I've gained some weight

*Ruby admitted, looking at her stomach, don't get her wrong, ruby is not one of those person who cares about stuff like that, it's just an observation she noticed. Glynda on the other hand sighed in relief*

Glynda:that's a side effect and it's fantastic seeing as you are under weight

Ruby:but it's more than that. I'm not as angry as I used to be. I'm not as...everything as I used to be

*Ruby said while she finished the beans and toast, Glynda looked at her confused, but she let ruby eat a bit, before she continued the conversation*

Glynda: I don't think I follow?

Ruby: I'm finding it harder to feel any type of emotion

*Ruby admitted bluntly, Glynda nodded understanding the problem, that ruby was having.*

Glynda:ah, yes that's an effect of the pills. The stronger the dosage, the less voices you'll hear, but the more difficult it'll be to feel emotions

Ruby: so it's either be completely me but have the voices back, or be a watered down version of who I am and be the closest thing to sane that I'll get

*Ruby said, she didn't really ask it as a question to glynda, more like to herself, trying to decide which hell was more appealing*

Glynda:pretty much

Ruby:great.

*Ruby said, all of this was too much for the morning, so she just put it at the back of her mind and went to eat. Glynda on the other hand, rubbed Ruby's back to give her some support*

Glynda:it's not so bad, now on that there is a solution. We can modify the dosage to what you think is acceptable. Though In my professional opinion, it's best if you stay like this. Yes it's watered down, but it's safe. You can live your day without hearing any of them. But in the end, it's your choice

Ruby: I'll think about it. I'm just... Confused, on a lot of stuff

*Ruby muttered softly. The high of fleur completely left her body, making ruby just feel empty. Glynda just gave ruby the only thing she could give. Her support*

Glynda: well, I'll be here when you are ready to talk about it.

Scene change

*We see Raven enjoying her cup of joe, today was gonna be a peaceful day for her. Yang is healing up, ruby has therapy, so she doesn't have to train anyone. That is until her door was kicked opened*

Vernal: chief, we have a problem

Raven:God damn it. What is it now?

*Raven groaned, she just got Glynda out of her couch. And she was just gonna enjoy a cup of her coffee, from the beans Glynda brought from the farmer's market, that was quickly becoming her favorite brand. But no, the chief's job always comes first*

Vernal: you have a visitor and he's angry.

Raven: my brother never gives up does he?

*Raven said with a soft chuckle. That chuckle died down, when she saw that vernal wasn't laughing with her*

Vernal: well.... It's not exactly your brother. Like at all

Raven:then who?

*Raven asked with a squint of her eyes, vernal winced a little and signaled for raven to look for herself*

Vernal:.... It's best if you come look for yourself.

*Raven sighed and walked to see what all the fuss was about. She froze for a second and then groaned, since at the entrance was her still by law husband, and he looked pissed*

Raven: my brother is such a little snitch

With ruby

*We see fleur and ruby walking out of the house, a portal was waiting for fleur. She looked at it. And then back at ruby*

Fleur: so tell ma petite rose, what's next for you?

Ruby: you know me. Shoot fellas who need shooting, save fellas who need saving and feed fellas who need feeding. Though today, Glynda is gonna make me talk about my feelings

*Ruby said with a small frown, she even blew a raspberry, that made, fleur giggle a little*

Fleur: heh that sounds awful

Ruby:yeah, well what are you gonna do? Life's a bitch and then you die right?

*Ruby said with a tired smile, fleur placed both her hands, on Ruby's cheeks rubbing them softly with her thumbs*

Fleur: sometimes.

*Fleur kisses Ruby's lips, it was a long goodbye kiss. Almost as if fleur knew, there wasn't gonna be a next time. Even if there was no consent given, Jake didn't come into Ruby's head. Fleur let go of the kiss and gave ruby a sad smile*

Fleur:Sometimes life's a bitch and then you keep living

Ruby:...yeah.

*Just as fleur was walking away, ruby grabbed her hand. Fleur looked at her with a raised eyebrow. But Ruby was looking down. As she looked at those eyes one more time, she would buckle, and go with her*

Ruby: just...want you to know. Meeting you? Is. And will always be...one of the best things that happened in my life....

Fleur:... I feel the same way. Goodbye ruby. You were a wonderful experience

*Fleur said softly, putting her hand on Ruby's cheek and kissing her forehead, ruby felt tears build up behind her eyes, as she took a shaky breath, before speaking*

Ruby: you were...... Everything

Fleur: au revoir, ma petite rose qui détient la clé de mon cœur

*Fleur said. Ruby heard and understood what she said. As she felt fleur kiss her cheek. Ruby finally looked up, to see, fleur shoot her one last smile, and walked away, she turned around and ruby saw fleur's silver eyes shining at her and winking. Ruby grew a soft smile and winked back, and in a second. Fleur disappeared, ruby sighed softly looking up at the sky, thinking of the what if. Who knows, maybe in another dimension, another story of her life, she decided to be selfish, and go with fleur. Stop being a legend, and just be a normal happy girl in love. But in this one? Ruby's crusade is not done yet*

Ruby:and then you keep living....
