Ruby: there's danger waiting for me.

*Ruby said, yang looked at her surprised, they haven't said a word to each other since the last chapter. And now, that they were at the final stretch, now that they can see the tribe's entrance, did ruby finally speak*

Yang:what do you mean by that?

Ruby:my tooth is aching, something is gonna go wrong, I can feel it. You go ahead, I'll come at the dead of night. Unlike with the penny mission, I'm listening to my tooth this time

*Ruby said going back inside the forest ignoring yang calling her. Yang sighed looking at where ruby left, and then looking at the tribe, with a shake of her head she went to the tribe, she was cold, hungry, and still in pain. Once inside she saw Raven waiting for her*

Raven:can't say I'm surprised that you survived, seeing as your 50% me. Congratulations yang. You are part of the brawnen tribe

Yang: can't say I'm all that happy about it. What happens now?

*Yang asked with a sigh, Raven turned around and started walking deeper inside, yang followed after her*

Raven: now? We drink, we celebrate, and we weep for those who didn't make it. Speaking of, where the hell is the brat?

Yang:ruby? She said something about her tooth hurting or something

*Yang said, and looked at Raven weirdly, as she started laughing, like a genuine, big, holding her sides kind of laughter*

Raven:oh, God. It's been such a long time since I've laughed like that. Can't say I blame the little brat, I wouldn't want to deal with her either

Yang: deal with? Deal with who?

*Yang asked, confused. As she yelped in surprise, when a tribe member hosed yang down with ice cold water on her, to clean off the dirt*

Raven:her girlfriend of course

Yang:....ru...ruby doesn't have a girlfriend

*Yang said trembling from the Cold, once she was cleaned enough, another tribe member came and gave her a towel, yang took it like her life depended on it, and dried herself*

Raven:yes, she does. That damn red head all she's been chapping about is ruby

Yang:no. No she does not, even with how strained our relationship is, I would know if ruby had a girlfriend

*Yang said, wondering just who the hell Raven was talking about. Once yang was dried, and her hair mostly dry, a final member came and gave yang a pair of tribe clothes*

Raven:then you are as blind as you are blonde. Her girlfriend is right in Ruby's hut. Don't believe me go see

Yang:gladly

*Yang said, she put her new clothes on, and walked to Ruby's hut with Raven behind her. They opened the door and saw Pyrrha there, waiting on the couch. Yang was surprised seeing her*

Yang:Pyrrha?

Pyrrha:oh! Yang hello, so lovely to see you.

*Pyrrha said with a smile, but yang trembled, she couldn't explain it, but the whole aura Pyrrha was giving out, terrified yang to her core*

Pyrrha: do you happen to know where ruby is? We...need to have a little chat

Yang:....can you hold on for a second?

*Yang asked, she wanted to move, but she couldn't, she felt petrified, seeing Pyrrha as some sort of werewolves Grimm*

Yang: I... I need to have a word with Raven

Raven:chief

*Raven corrected, and yang slowly moved her head to Raven, giving her an "are you serious right now" look.*

Yang:really? Now? You're gonna do that now?

Raven:I'm petty.

*Raven said with a shrug, yang felt the need to slap her biological mother, and slap her hard. She pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath*

Yang: your a bitch is what you are

Raven:a petty bitch yes.

*Raven admitted without a single shred of shame, yang was starting to see where ruby got that from*

Yang:anyways, I'm gonna need to talk...with the chief, for a second

Pyrrha:oh of course just take your time

*Pyrrha said and she started to hum a song, that just freaked yang out even more, she looked so creepy right now.. yang closed the door with her whole body trembling when the door was closed, she looked at her mother annoyed*

Yang:what the hell, you said that Ruby's girlfriend is in there

Raven:and she is

*Raven said simply, yang looked at Raven as if she was missing a few feathers, with she honestly every day, thought more and more that she was*

Yang: no. Ruby's best friend is in there, and I swear if you say she's a girl and she's a friend, I will break your nose

Raven:oh, so dramatic, you get that from your father you know. And I meant what I said, Ruby's girlfriend is in there

*Raven repeated, yang wanted to pull her hair right now. She took her phone out and showed Raven a picture, of Pyrrha with her boyfriend*

Yang:no. That's not Ruby's girlfriend, Pyrrha has a boyfriend, jaune.

Raven: just like I'm still married to your father, but that didn't stop the dumbass from slipping his third leg at the first trap of legs that opened up for him, which so happened to be summer rose. That girl in there? Is Ruby's girlfriend, that jaune boy is nothing more than a fling, just like summer was a fling to tai

*Raven said in a dry tone, showing the ring she keeps around her neck to prove a point. Yang looked like she wanted to say so many things, but she kept quiet*

Yang:ok...so much to unpack there, I'm gonna concentrate on the ruby side of it.

Raven:you see I would love to have a circular conversation with you. But I have other new tribe members to welcome. So think what you want, because weather they realize it or not. Ruby and Pyrrha are girlfriends

*Raven walked away, ignoring yang calling her name. Yang with a sigh, muttering "bitch" under her breath, she walked back inside to give Pyrrha some company*

Later

*It was finally night, ruby was hididng in the shadows. Her hut was right in front of her, more importantly her opened window was right in front of her. Ruby silently clicked her tongue, as the toothache was still there*

Ruby" ok...ok, just sneak into my room, grab the emergency I pissed off Raven tuffle bag, and camp in the forest for a couple days. You can do this, you can totally do this, who are you? The fucking rose of vacuo"

*Ruby thought, hyping herself up, as she slithered under the wall, and took a small breath*

Ruby"ok, quick like a cat, quick like a gun draw, you can do this"

*Ruby thought as she went inside, or tried to. Someone covered the window with some kind of oil, making ruby slip and fall loudly to the ground. Ruby groaned, softly*

Ruby:you know....that's cheating

Pyrrha:it's not my fault that you always use the windows to escape. Hello by the way

*Pyrrha said, putting down her book, and looking at ruby getting up, she blushed a little seeing ruby naked, filthy yes. But still naked*

Pyrrha:uh....you should probably take a bath first

Ruby:first? Are we gonna do something?

Pyrrha pov

*That question made me remember the main reason I was here, and it made me give ruby an angry smile, that she didn't seem all that affected by*

Pyrrha:yes. We need to talk about an acquaintance of yours....one fleur de lis.

Ruby:fleur? Is she here?

*Ruby asked, and what really made Me jealous, I mean what really pissed me off, yeah pissed off. I wasn't jealous of course not. Ehem. What really pissed me off, was how ruby fixed her hair, and had a small smile looking around for that skank*

Pyrrha:.....no. she's not here, what I would like to know is, what is she to you?

Ruby:....quiet

*Ruby said simply, breathlessly, almost relieved, no. She truly looked relieved when she said that, my anger started to change to confusion*

Pyrrha: quiet?

Ruby: yup. I've only been with her once, but that one time...the voices, were quiet. Almost as if they didn't exist in the first place

*Ruby said softly, running her hand through her hair, I didn't know how to react, I held my pants tighter, as without realizing I spoke, before speaking*

Pyrrha:so I don't make the voices quiet?

Ruby:.... lately? No. Not with you're parents, or with you trying to shift the blame, or when....

*I couldn't handle it anymore, and hugged ruby. She flinched, obviously taken by surprise, But she didn't pull away, she slowly embraced me back*

Pyrrha:I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I said, I'm sorry for shifting the blame, I'm sorry for gaslighting you, I...I don't know why I did it, well...I do for my parents, but it's just complicated

???:my, I do believe this is called love bombing

*I heard that skank's soft voice, making me flinch, I turned around and saw her on the couch reading, the book I was reading a second ago.*

Fleur: my little hero. It's been such a long time. How've you been?

Ruby: frustrated, annoyed, confused....tired. so, so tired

*Ruby said with a sigh, slowly letting got or my embrace, and reluctantly I let go of her as well, both of us looked at fleur, who was smiling at ruby. Which annoyed me*

3rd person

Fleur: you poor thing. I can see those bags under your eyes, how about the little champion leaves, and I can make you feel good for a few hours

Pyrrha:hahaha, why don't you shut the hell up and leave? Who the hell invited you anyways?

*Pyrrha said with an angry smile, putting herself in front of ruby, stopping fleur from even looking at her*

Fleur:oh darling. Did you think that I only have eyes and ears in Mistral? No, no, no. I have them all over remnant, it's almost like my second semblance.

Ruby:I take it that the two are you aren't very close

*Ruby asked looking in-between the two, fleur gave a soft dramatic sigh, and Pyrrha a mix of a snort and a growl*

Pyrrha:no.

Fleur:not particularly no. But that doesn't matter, since I'm not here for her. I'm here for you ruby.

*Fleur said in a sultry tone, ruby licked her lips a little, she could smell it. She could sense fleur's semblance, but one look at Pyrrha, kept ruby in control, for now at least*

Ruby: hm. As good as that sounds, and believe me that does sound so good. I think we at least owe Pyrrha the explanation she came here to ask

Fleur:oh fine. Go ahead butch. Go ask your question, so that you can leave. Emphasis on the leaving

*Fleur said with a bored expression on her face, picking on her nails. Pyrrha wanted to jam her javelin right up her ass, but she refrained from doing that, and looked at ruby*

Pyrrha: ruby, and ONLY ruby. Can you please tell me, how you even met this....this....skank!

Fleur:ouch, a skank, that really is the worst thing anyone has ever called me, and I'm not even joking

*Fleur said sarcastically but Pyrrha ignored her, or at least tried her best to ignore her, but it was hard. Fleur always had a way to crawl herself inside Pyrrha's skin, and the fact that she had ruby, made her even more angry*

Ruby:fine. It... It was a few months after human penny died. I...I was in a dark place.....
