Author note:this story got too long, and theres still so much left to write, so since Wattpad has a limit on how many chapters one story can have, before It force closes me. I'm gonna have to cut this story into a second season. So here is the end of season 1 of the rose of vacuo....

*Pyrrha had her heart pounding seeing the man she has feelings for, defeating a team of 4 by himself, it made him look, for lack of a better word manly*

Pyrrha:he did it....

Now

Flashback

Cardin:look what we have here, the little snake freak all alone

Ruby:......

*Ruby had her head on the floor, so cardin couldn't see it, he couldn't see the absolutely insane smile ruby had on her face, since ruby needed some stress relief, and cardin plus his goons? They were the perfect target. Ruby didn't wait as he started running to the closest one to her, Ruby crouched down, dodging a punch from cardin, ruby jumped, knee hitting him in the jaw, and using Cardin's chest to jump higher. as Ruby was falling she spin kicked Russel right in its neck, sending him to the ground. Ruby started running to another who punched her, or tried to anyway, ruby was faster and kicked sky lark in the balls, sending him back. as sky was sliding back, ruby exploded into petals and reappeared behind him pinching sky at the back of the head, with enough forced, that everyone heard the sound of the head cracking. Ruby moved his head out of the way dodging punches from dove bronzewing*

*Ruby grabbed dove's wrist pulling him close enough, where ruby uppercuts him hard enough with her reptilian arm for dove's eyes to go to the back of his skull, ruby let him go and raised his arms up, blocking a kick of Cardin from reaching her head. Ruby grabbed Cardin's leg and punched the kneecap with enough force to dislocate it, making cardin scream bloody murder. Ruby tossed cardin to Russel coming her way. Ruby put her fist ups, and spin back handed sky shark in the face making him fall down on his ass, ruby dodged a punch and grabbed Russel's shirt, punching him hard enough to break a molar. Ruby grabbed one of the jackals and walked to cardin, putting her gun on his mouth*

Ruby:you know, normally I would've walked away. But it's your lucky day, your gonna help me with something. And if you don't....

*Cardin's eyes widen in fear, as he heard the sound of the barrel of the gun being clicked. She saw the cold uncaring eyes of ruby looking down at him.*

Ruby:oh, and before I forget, if you think I care about the consequences. Nothing is gonna happen to me. Ozpin needs me on he side, so he'll turn a blind eye, he already did. Look up, all the Camaras are turned off

*Cardin moved his head a little, and much to his horror she was right, all the Camaras were facing down, deactivated. There was no blinking light. No sign that it was recording. Ruby started to give out a slow cackle*

Ruby:oh, I've seen that look before. So, so, so many times. The realization that no one is coming to save you. I've seen that look ins so many scums of the earth. It never gets old. Seeing them feel one spec! Of the fear and pain, people like you inflict on others oh it's magical. So let me tell you again Cardin Winchester

*Ruby grabbed her other jackal and shot Dove Bronzewing, who woke up and tried to slam his fist on the back of Ruby's head. Ruby shot him in his abdomen without even looking at him. He fell down crying holding the hole in his body. But ruby didn't break eye contact from cardin*

Ruby:no one is coming to save you, not your teammates, not ozpin, not your fucking money. No. This time your daddy isn't gonna throw some money at it, to make the problem go away. Your gonna die. Your gonna die right here, right now, when I count to 3. Unless you agree to help me

*Ruby said hissing, his smile becoming more sick and twisted, if ruby were to look herself in the reflection from the window, she would see she was the mirror image of rattlesnake jake right now*

Ruby:1.....

Cardin;MH!!!!!!MH!!!!!!

*Cardin tried to scream, that yes he'll help her. But ruby didn't stop, her gaze was glazed over. As she kept smiling, still without breaking eye contact, without blinking*

Ruby:2......

*Cardin started to cry, his life flashing before his eyes, as he nodded yes as fast as he could, absolutely terrified of the rose. Ruby smirked taking the gun out of Cardin's mouth, since this is just how she wanted him*

Cardin:I'll help!! I'll help!! Please don't kill me!!!

Ruby: fantastic, I'm so glad you could see into reason. So! Here's what gonna happen.

*Ruby said, getting off of Cardin, Cardin crawled against the fall, wanting to be as far from ruby as possible*

Ruby:the final day of school is coming up, where Glynda will have her fighting class. Here's what I need from you, you and your team will fight against Jaune arc, and you will let him beat you. Do I make myself clear?

Cardin:y...yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. A... absolutely. Cristal, transparently clear

*Cardin said, sniffling as he was having a full on panic attack from having almost died, that panic became doubled, when ruby turned into petals, and reappeared on top of him, with her gun right in Cardin's mouth again*

Ruby:oh. And one more thing, just a tiny thing, a nitpick really. If you tell anybody about our little arrangement. Do you know what will happen?

Cardin:mhm!!

*Cardin mouthed, nodding extremely fast, he got more scared when ruby stopped smiling*

Ruby:no you don't. So let me tell you. I'll go to your dorm, knock you and your friends out cold. When you wake up, you 4 will be tied down. And you'll have to watch as I kill your family member each and every one of them, right in front you, and when I'm done? I won't shoot you. No, of course not. I'll get my pet bear Grimm eat the 4 of you alive. So keep that disgusting male mouth of yours shut. Make sure to remind your teammate what I told you, when you wake up

*Ruby said, before grabbing Cardin's hair and slamming his head, to the wall. Making him pass out by his brain touching his skull. Ruby turned around and walked away, the others students started walking to the source of the sound, and saw team CRDL all injured, passed out, and the rose of vacuo walking away. They all made space for her. Already the rumor mill was spinning, with the main one being that Cardin pushed his luck insulting faunus*

Back to the present

*Ruby smirked tipping her head down and leaning back in her chair*

Ruby:of course he did it, was there ever any doubt?

*Ruby said smugly, Cardin and his team were getting up, cardin glanced at ruby, and saw her smirk becoming smaller, making him scared. So he and his team didn't say anything, they just walked to the infirmary*

Scene change

*The semester was over, children were all going home to enjoy their vacation. We see ruby leaning against a wall, while jaune just talked excitedly about the fight*

Jaune:and then I went swing! And my sword actually connected! I still can't believe he didn't block it

Ruby: heh, yeah that was pretty cool. Amazing what winning one fight can do for someone's confidence

*Ruby said with a small smirk, even if her heart was hurting. Jaune just smiled brightly at her*

Jaune:yeah! I feel like I could take on the world right now! It's an amazing feeling, is this how you always feel?

Ruby:not even a little, but we're not talking about me. I have to tell you something.

*Ruby said, jaune didn't noticed how ruby was rapidly blinking, to stop the tears. Ruby felt ridiculous right now, but she wasn't gonna stop*

Jaune:oh, sure what is it?

Ruby:Pyrrha is in love with you

*Ruby said plainly, it took a moment for the information to get inside Jaune's brain. But when it did, he blushed furiously*

Jaune:w...what?!

Ruby:you heard me pretty boy. Angel, has a thing for you, ever since this semester started

*Ruby said with a shrug, she sniffed a little and following her gut she covered her ears, her gut was right since Jayne yelled louder*

Jaune:s...since when?!!

Ruby:yup. Now that you have some hair down your balls, what are you gonna do about it?

*Ruby asked with a raised eyebrow, and her arm crossed. Jaune was stuttering, all his confidence just banished. But he still remembered something*

Jaune:uh..I ...I mean what about you?

Ruby:what about me? Pyrrha is just my best friend. And as her best friend, I want what's best for her. So I'll ask again pretty boy. What are you gonna do about it?

*Ruby asked, wanting to leave the situation, and just be alone for a while. But she stayed firm. Jaune rubbed the back of his head, still not being able to fully believe it. Before he could respond, he heard a voice that made him flinch*

Pyrrha:ruby! There you are! Why did you want me to meet up?

Ruby:hm? Oh right, jaune has something to tell you.

*Just like with robot penny, ruby was making another sacrifice, in putting someone else's happiness before herself. So she patted Jaune's shoulder, and whispered to his ear*

Ruby:treat her right pretty boy....

*Ruby looked at Pyrrha and gave her a soft smile, before she walked away. She turned the corner, to be far enough to hear, but they couldn't see her. Ruby leaned against the wall and slowly slid down, finally being able to let her tears fall freely.*

Ruby"she'll be happier this way...."

* Ruby thought, she had no way to know this, but ruby is following the same road her mother walked so long ago with tai and raven*

Pyrrha:so....jaune, what did you want to tell me?

Jaune:I uh....w...well. it's just that I have an uncle who lives in Argus mistral, he keeps asking for my help in his farm, and this summer I'll be helping him out. So we will be able to spend the summer together, a...and oh man I'm rambling uhhhh, you know my dad once gave me a great quote to live by, to grab the bull by the horns as they say so....

Pyrrha:n..not to get technical but those are my hands

Jaune:I....I know, I know. Pyrrha nikos, would you like to go out with me?

*Ruby heard jaune ask, hearing Pyrrha's happy gasp it was like someone stabbed her. She cleaned the tears falling from her cheeks and grew a sad smile*

Pyrrha"ruby. Thank you for this"

Pyrrha:oh jaune... I would love to

*Ruby heard all that she needed to hear, she turned into a petal of roses and disappeared, there was still one person she needed to see before she met up with Glynda*

Scene change

Ruby: Xiao long wait up!

Yang:r..ruby!

*Yang said surprised, she turned around and saw ruby coming down of her horse miracle. Ruby walked up to her*

Ruby:so. What are you gonna do this summer?

Yang:o..oh you know, going to clubs, and some training why?

*Yang asked, ruby took out a scroll like a real scroll made of paper and gave it to yang. Yang looked confused and opened it*

Yang:what's this?

Ruby:the location of the branwen's clan.

*Ruby said, yang flinched and her eyes widened looking at the scroll, and then at ruby who just shrugged*

Ruby:To be more specific the start of it. It'll get you to the forest where it is, but after that? you have to find it yourself, if you do raven will train you. That where I'll be this summer. I need to become stronger, and raven is the only one who can give me that strength. So....I guess I'll see you there, if your really serious

*Ruby said turning around, yang was still too overwhelmed to respond, she saw ruby getting on her horse and looking down at her. Ruby tipped her hat and rode off into the sunset, she had a long road ahead of herself to raven's home*

Scene change

*Ruby was in the middle of the road, miracle was in dirt bike mode, she was swerving in and out of traffic, when her gut was telling her, something was coming. And coming fast*

Nora:RUBY!!!!!!

*Ruby looked at miracle's mirrors, and saw a charged up electrified Nora running full speed at her, and getting closer fast*

Nora:i want my IHOP!!!!

*Ruby heard Nora scream, ruby felt Nora somehow catch up to her and placed her hand on Ruby's shoulder. Ruby started losing control of miracle, so To not cause a traffic accident, ruby exploded into a petal of roses, taking miracle, and Nora with her. She crashed landed on a large patch of grass. Both girls were breathing heavily*

Ruby:ok let's go to IHOP

Nora:yosh!!!,

*Nora said raising both fist to the air cackling. Ruby didn't get up right away, she just laid there looking up at the clear sky*

Scene change

*We see the two girls eating their hearts out, ruby was up to her 15th plate while Nora was on Plate 67*

Nora:you know, it's ok to be selfish, in love

Ruby:maybe, but what I want goes beyond selfishness. I'm not about to drag Pyrrha into my hell

*Ruby said with a shrug, waving the waiter for another round for the both of them. Nora looked at her, it was one of the few moments that she looked serious*

Nora:then your braver then me. Since I don't think, I could make that sacrifice with Ren

Ruby:hm. Then I guess I just love Pyrrha more

*Ruby said with a teasing smirk, Nora chuckled softly and wagged her finger at the little outlaw*

Nora:careful Amy rose, those are fighting words

Ruby: just saying. You want Ren's love for yourself. I want Pyrrha's love to go with someone better then me

*Ruby said nonchalant, even if on the inside, it still hurts to think about, and ruby doesn't know how to deal with it*

Nora:and that someone is jaune?

Ruby:that someone is anyone, hell Cardin is a better option then me

*Ruby said with an unamused expression, she was completely truthful, in Ruby's mind even someone as deplorable as Cardin, was a better romantic partner then ruby herself. Ruby and Nora continued to have small talk, as they ate. They ended up eating IHOP till the restaurant ran out of ingredients, all on ozpin's dime*

Scene change

*It took 5 days of horse riding, but ruby made it. It was the dark of night, the only light that was given to ruby, was the shattered moon, and the stars. Ruby got off miracle, and lead her to the stables. Raven dropped next to her and walked with her*

Raven:so, Zwei is in his cave, and Glynda is in her tent, care to tell me again, why she's here?

Ruby:because I don't want to deal with her, and everyone else's bullshit if I suddenly disappear for months, without getting her therapy.

*Ruby said, as they made it to the stable and placed miracle in her room, ruby grabbed something hidden inside of miracle's satchel and let the poor girl sleep. Ruby and raven walked out and raven finally noticed what ruby had in her hands*

*A sword, more specifically Adam Taurus sword and rifle, blush and wilt . Ruby looked at her new sword, and then at raven*

Ruby:teach me, how to fight with a sword
