Pyrrha pov

Pyrrha:just got word from the police chief, the white fang is retreating, and those who aren't, are being arrested as we speak. It's over

Ruby:for now yeah, let's get me check out. I should have enough silver magic to heal up at least the big wounds. But apart from that.....

*It happened in an instant, one second me and ruby were walking to get her some medical aid, the next the world turned red. I looked at ruby, who's human side turned dark, while her reptilian side glowed a bright dark green. Ruby pushed me out of the way, and she turned around, my eyes went as small as pin needles seeing this Adam pierced Ruby's chest with his sword. As I fell on the floor*

Ruby:little tip for the next life....

*I heard ruby say, I looked up at her as the world returned to normal, I saw ruby aim the jackal, under Adam's chin, as her eyes glowed completely silver, her voice turned distorted, as if multiple people, a hive mind were talking at once*

Ruby:always aim for the head

*Ruby shot Adam, making his head explode, the recoil was powerful enough to send ruby back, breaking the stained glass church mural, my eyes went wide, as I stumbled to my feets, running to the window*

Pyrrha:RUBY!!!

*I made it to the window and looked down, I placed my hand over my mouth in shock, as I say ruby on the ground floor, a puddle of blood coming out of her, I didn't hesitate, nor did I just freeze in fear like yang. I  turned around and ran as fast as I could to the ground floor. Almost falling on the stairs multiple times. I made it with the rest of the group, and kept running*

Jaune:Pyrrha, what's the ru. Uff!!

*I didn't stop for Jaune, I actively pushed him to the rail, and kept running as fast as I could, I made it out of the church and ran to the backside Of the church and I saw her there surrounded by broken glass and her own blood, ruby laying unmoving on the ground*

Pyrrha:rubes!!

*I screamed, as I kneel next to her, ignoring the sharp pains I felt from shards of glass piercing my knees, in my panic, I didn't even check her vitals, I just started giving her chest compressions, trying my best to not remove the sword. I felt the biggest relief when I heard ruby take a deep gasp for air and then groan*

Ruby pov

*I moved a little, feeling a jolt of pain from my back, that fall did a number on me, and more importantly the big fucking gash on my back. I groan as I looked up, my vision slowly coming back to me, I saw an angel crying, she was smiling and crying at the same time, an angel was relieved, overjoyed for me, because my life has not ended. I gave her a small crooked smile*

Ruby:my...it's true what they say, angels are  more beautiful than any person can comprehend...

*I heard Pyrrha give out a wet chuckle, and then my eyes widen, since it's not often this happens, but I was taken off guard. Of guard by Pyrrha kissing me*

Pyrrha pov

Ruby:my...it's true what they say, angels are  more beautiful than any person can comprehend...

*I heard ruby say weakly, making me give out a wet chuckle, remembering that ruby told me that, when we first met, cleaning my tears and just looking at her. My heart was running on adrenaline....and that's when I let my emotions overwhelm me, and get the better of me. I kissed her, I kissed ruby rose. It took a few moments for me to realize what I was doing, and was about to let go, but then my eyes widened, and what usually happens when I'm with ruby happens, I'm taken off guard. I'm taken off guard, by her kissing me back*

3rd person

*Ruby slowly let go of the kiss and rested her head on Pyrrha's lap. Giving a breathless chuckled*

Ruby:really pushed my luck this time huh? Help me up will you angel?

Pyrrha:r..right !

*Pyrrha said quickly, realizing that now was not the time, to figure out why ruby kissed her back, since well, ruby is VERY injured. She slowly lifted ruby up, and helped her slowly walk to the group of police and paramedics*

Ruby:hold up, hold up, hold up a minute

Pyrrha:ruby, you don't look like you have a minute

*Pyrrha said honestly, but ruby chuckled, Pyrrha trusted her and rested ruby gently against the wall, and activated her silver eyes, Pyrrha's eyes widen a little as ruby touches her shoulder, and felt the pain of her legs disappearing, then she watched as Ruby's big injuries closed up, but instead of the human skin that used to be there, it was replaced by reptilian skin*

Pyrrha:I feel like that's not supposed to happen

Ruby:trust me, I wish it didn't.... This is why I when I get injure, I try to make to so it happens on my reptilian side, since the more I'm injured on my human side.....

*Ruby left those final words unsaid, and Pyrrha didn't say them, they both knew what ruby was gonna say,  ruby was scared of transforming completely reptilian, to one day get injured enough that she losses her human side, and look completely like Jake. Pyrrha grabbed Ruby's hand and helped her walk again, so to distract her from her mind overthinking*

Pyrrha:we need some help over here!

Ruby:from the quack doctors, keep the pigs away from me

*Ruby mumbled softly so only Pyrrha could hear it, a female paramedic came and helped ruby in to a bed, they rolled her inside the ambulance with Pyrrha following. But was stopped by one of them*

Paramedic:sorry, but this is for family and...

Ruby:cut the crap Glynda and let her on, I'm tired

*Ruby said from inside, Pyrrha eyes widen as she looked at the paramedic, she noticed the hair was actually a wig. Glynda sighed and let Pyrrha inside. Closing the door behind them. The ambulance started driving away as The other paramedic took off his disguise showing ozpin*

Ozpin:hello miss Nikos, miss rose, my this is quite the adventure you've both gotten yourself into

Ruby:you could say that, the good news is, that I've finally gotten my way inside team CRME inner circle, shouldn't be long before they take me to meet Salem.

*Ruby said wincing in pain, as Glynda was indeed healing her, starting by picking off all the shattered glass that pierced her body*

Ozpin:wonderful, simply wonderful. I'm sure you'll get to see that next semester

Ruby:....the fuck you mean next semester?

*Ruby asked confused, ozpin without missing a beat explained to ruby the concept, of the most beautiful thing in the world, not matter what age. Vacation. But ruby didn't see it like that*

Ruby:yo asshole, I know what's a semester. Did you think I forgot our deal? 100,000 per semester. You think I would ask that if I didn't know what a semester was? What I meant was, there's no fucking way that it's already been a semester

Ozpin:my apologies for the confusion, but it indeed has been a whole semester already

*Ozpin said with a smile, ruby groaned, she didn't think so much timr has passed, since she's been in beacon, her mind went on the slaves that she could be saving right now, but she put that thought at the back of her mind for now*

Ruby:so I'm forced to stay in vale for even longer huh?

Ozpin: yes, this semester is 2 weeks from being over. But oh, I'm sure it's not that bad. You've made some friends in vale haven't you?

*Ozpin said with that "I know more then I let on" smile, that always pissed ruby off. Ruby just sighed and looked at another direction*

Ruby: I suppose some time off would do me some good

Glynda:very, now deep breath and activate your silver eyes to heal this one

*Glynda said, ruby took a sharp breath as Glynda took out the sword. Ruby was quick to heal the wound, before she died of blood loss. After that, ruby and Pyrrha just told ozpin and Glynda, what happened in the mission. Well mostly Pyrrha*

Ozpin:I see, well Blake will definitely need some therapy,

Glynda:I completely agree, I'll talk to her, about adding her, for some sessions. And don't think I've forgotten about your sessions ruby

*Glynda said with a stern tone, that made ruby give out a soft groan and nodded, she was able to run for a while, but the look pyrrha and glynda were giving her, told ruby the fun was over*

Ozpin:so you killed Adam, instead of blake. I imagine that she'll be quite cross with you miss rose

Ruby: first of all don't forget our deal, I get a bonus for killing one of there memebrs, Adam was an outside member of them

Ozpin:bit of a stretch, but fine I'll play along. You never said how much the bonus was

Ruby:50,000

*Ruby said with a smirk, since those 5 numbers made ozpin do a spit take, since it was far too late to renegotiate the prices*

Ruby:and as for Blake, like I give a crap about what a scaredy cat, thinks about me

Ozpin:no, you only care what Pyrrha thinks about you

*Ozpin with with a bit of a teasing smirk, he got the reaction he wanted from ruby, a deep blush on her face, and a hateful scorn on her brow, glaring at ozpin. What took him by surprised, was the blush in Pyrrha's face. Pyrrha on the other hand, was thinking of there little kiss from not to long ago, still very confused on everything*

Ruby:ANYWAYS! What's gonna happen with the faunus? The injured and arrested?

Ozpin:there leader already contacted me, claiming sanctuary and all that hullabaloo. He did ask that you be there, when he and his wife comes here

*Ozpin said, curious on the history between ruby and the leaders of Menagerie, he'll soon find out. Ruby hummed and nodded, she rested her head on the bed and just closed her eyes*

Ruby:fantastic, wake me when we get back to beacon.

Scene change

The next day

Morning

*Yang groaned feeling a huge headache, similar to a hangover, if it wasn't for the fact, that she remembered what happened, unlike the times she goes to clubs*

Ruby:so, your awake.

Yang:yeah... Fuck you by the way

*Yang said in a foul mood that she was drugged, ruby chuckled and raised her hands in defeat*

Ruby:ok yeah, I deserve that one. If it makes you feel any better, I uh....baked you some cookies

Yang:....you baked me some cookies?

*Yang said, her headache still there, but her foul mood replaced with surprised. Ruby for her part had a small blush, as she looked at anywhere but yang, as she passed her a plate of cookies*

Ruby:I uh, felt bad for drugging you, without giving you a chance to make a choice. So....yeah, I baked you a few cookies, velvet gave me her recipe. So I don't know if you'll like them, but... There you go

*Ruby said honestly, feeling very vulnerable, trying her best to be a bit more than just civil with yang*

Yang:that's...wow, I'm just so overwhelmed right now

Ruby:I can see that, so....enjoy the cookies xiao long

*Ruby said softly, she quickly got up and walked away, yang watched her go, and then looked down at the cookies, with a small smile on her face*

Yang:thanks for the cookies rubes....

*Yang said softly, as she ate one. They tasted burned, but yang didn't care, she was gonna enjoy every single one of them*
