*after days in vacuo, we see team JWBY+PR, going back home to beacon. Ruby was down at the cargo, with Zwei and miracle resting, she was doing some pull ups, with a exposed pipe. She didn't noticed someone walking up to her*

Pyrrha:we need to talk

Ruby:I don't need to talk, but I will listen

*Ruby said jumping down, and cracking her neck, she sighed relief that she was back to 100% physically. Pyrrha looked at ruby with concern*

Pyrrha:ruby, you've been acting strange for the last couple of days in vacuo, you've also been acting strange with me, you've been acting like you did, when we first met.

Ruby:...i don't know what your talking about

*Ruby said waving her hand dismissively, she walked passed her, but felt Pyrrha's hand on her shoulder*

Pyrrha:ruby, please talk to me

*Pyrrha said in that gentle tone, she always uses with her, part of ruby likes it, but a new part of her hates it, since it's just more proof that she doesn't see ruby, as dating material*

Ruby:angel, I'm fine. Honest, I don't really know what more you want me to say, I agreed to take therapy with Glynda, I agreed to take the stupid fucking pill. What more do you want from me?

Pyrrha:.....this is about the antipsychotics pills isn't? You always call something stupid, or fucking, when they bother you

*Ruby flinched, and hung her head low a little, she shoved Pyrrha's hand away from her and started walking, no where really since she couldn't get off, of a moving plane, she just needed space. But Pyrrha wasn't gonna let her, go deeper in to her shell again, not after all the progress they made*

Pyrrha:ruby, you know I'm not gonna go away, until you talk to me

Ruby:argh! Just go with pretty boy, and leave me alone! I'm bloody fine!

*Ruby said, her tone raising, walking faster, but Pyrrha grabbed Ruby's wrist, and pulled her close to her, Pyrrha turned her around softly, and cleaned the tears of frustration on Ruby's face*

Pyrrha:if this is bloody fine, I'm bloody freaking Mary. Talk. To. Me.

Ruby:.....I hate taking this pills, I hate the fact that they work

*Ruby muttered softly, with a sigh of frustration, Pyrrha didn't say anything, just waited patiently, for ruby to continue on*

Ruby: I hate the fact that, that means I was completely wrong, I hate the fact that now I have a drinking problem, that I didn't need to have, I hate that all this time, I could've stopped the voices, I hate that it was so fucking simple, and I couldn't see it!!

*Ruby screamed wanting to punch something, that feeling left when Pyrrha, lowered herself to her knees, to be eye to eye with ruby, and hugged her from behind, calming her down*

Pyrrha: ruby, you are a smart person, when it comes to guns, when it comes to making plans on the spot, when it comes to making impossible choices, you are smart in a lot of things. But your still 15 years old, you were 10 when you were finally free yourself, you didn't trust anybody, you couldn't have trusted anybody, so you found a solution that worked for you. Now things are different, now you have people that care for you have the means, to heal yourself mentally, now you have the means, to use something, much more effective.

*Pyrrha pulled her closer to her, hugging her tighter, and kissed her cheek, making our little gunslinger blush as crimson red, as her bandana*

Ruby:it just...frustrates me, that the solution was so easy, for so long...

Pyrrha:I get that, really I do, your a creature of habit. So finding out that your habit, was... let's say less then affective, I can see how it can be frustrating, but you can't say, it's not a good thing, how long has it been since you last heard one of the voices?

*Pyrrha asked, as she got up, and both started walking to Ruby's pets. Ruby sighed*

Ruby: it's....complicated, I haven't heard them, not really at least. But I feel....I don't know how to describe it, I feel like my brain is static, the kind of static you get from a TV with no signal, I can almost make out a figure at the corner of my eyes, but when I look, there gone, I can hear some careless whispers off in the distance, but I can't make out the words

Pyrrha:I don't know much about the medication your on, you'll have to ask Glynda for that

*Pyrrha said honestly, but continued, before ruby could sigh, and complain again*

Pyrrha:but no pill is completely perfect, think of the pills as a much better version, of the cactus juice, it makes the voices, and hallucinations more fuzzy do the point you can barely see them.

Ruby:god i could use a drink

*Ruby complained, feeling drained from the conversation, Pyrrha hummed, letting the conversation die, so that ruby would feel more comfortable, they've talked more then enough, about Ruby's mental struggles, for today at least*

Pyrrha: that's the addiction talking, You know, there's such a thing, as none alcoholic alcohol

Ruby:tried them, taste like piss water

*Ruby said sticking her tongue out in disgust, Pyrrha chuckled softly, letting ruby rest in zwei's fur. Zwei moved a little feeling the extra weight, on him. But otherwise just let it happened*

Pyrrha:then how about a soda? Like grape soda, I love grape soda

Ruby:...fine, I'll give It a shot

Pyrrha:great, 2 grape soda please!

*Pyrrha said out loud, ruby looked at her as if she was crazy, but then jumped a bit surprised, when a soda can dropped from the sky, Into Pyrrha's hands*

Ruby:....how in fuck, did you do that?

Pyrrha:you may be the rose of vacuo, but I'm the champion Champion of mistral, I upgraded our ship, this is a more modern one. Go on, ask something, and it'll give it to you

*Pyrrha said with a grin, cracking open her soda, ruby looked a bit uncomfortable, even is miracle was a machine, she was an exception to the rule, for the most part, ruby didn't like modern technology. She sighed and thought about it*

Ruby:a tv, with my little pony playing

*Ruby said out loud, slowly, a flat screen was lowered, already playing an episode of the show, ruby grabbed her soda, and started drinking it*

Ruby:not bad, so what's going on with you and pretty boy?

Pyrrha:oh, you know, were talking and all that

*Pyrrha said with a light blush, she didn't noticed the roll of the eyes that ruby gave her*

Ruby:ok, but do those talks, include him asking you out?

Pyrrha:well....no, but you know how shy he is! He...he just needs to get some confidence

*Pyrrha said nervously, ruby sighed, frustrated, she cuddled closer to Pyrrha and kept drinking, seeing an Applejack episode about honesty, ironically enough*

Ruby: you like a dumbass you know this right?

Pyrrha:.....ok, but he's a very pretty dumbass, and brave, and and and and, he has so much potential, and when he smiles, oh, when he smiles at me, it just....leaves me breathless, seeing that cute awkward smile on his face. He just.... treats me like he would anyone else

*Pyrrha said with a deepening blush, ruby was trying her best, to hide her discomfort, and to not frown deeply, but she couldn't help but mutter under her breath*

Ruby:yeah, because he's the only one, who treats you like that

Pyrrha:sorry, ruby did you say something?

*Pyrrha asked, with a smile on her face, ruby just shook her head, and got up stretching, til she heard a pop in her joints*

Ruby:you must be hearing things, since I didn't say shit. I'll be back, I gotta go take a leak. But please keep talking to yourself, on how much you like pretty boy, makes me look less crazy by comparison

*Ruby said with a smirk as she walked away, from a blushing Pyrrha, stuttering to deny, of what she was just doing. Once she was out of sight, did ruby let herself, hug herself, she was sad, of that she knew, but she didn't understand why hearing Pyrrha, talking about someone else, hurt her so much. Our little ruby, was getting a first hands look at unrequited, one sided love*

Later

In the bathroom

*Ruby splashed some water on her face, she held on to the sink, and looked herself at the mirror, she started to hear a small ring in her ears, ruby took a small sigh, as one of them appeared again, only it was different. Like ruby said, it was like looking at a TV without signal, she couldn't make out who it was, she only realized it was Penny by the slight orange static color, on the top of her head, her mouth was moving but ruby couldn't hear it, just the faint sound of a whisper she couldn't understand. She kept looking at the blurry image of penny, as it was coming in and out of existence, she shook her head, when the handle of the door, jiggled*

Weiss:is somebody in there?

Ruby:no, it's locked, because it's out of commission

*Ruby said with a small smirk, as penny disappeared from sight, when she heard Weiss sigh*

Weiss:Honestly, it's ridiculous that this airship only has 1 bathroom. I don't mean to Hurry you, but are you done? I really have to go!

*A part of ruby wanted to take her sweet time, but she decided to be nice, and opened the door and walked away, she heard the sigh of relief from Weiss as she all but ran inside. Ruby looked out the window, with a slight frown, no longer was there the  beautiful desaturated yellow sand of vacuo, but the basic green of vale. Her time in vacuo was finished, and for a long time it seems*
