*Ruby grumbled tipping her hat as a greeting before making a beeline to her new bed,she took most of her clothes off leaving only her pants not caring that Ren or anybody could see her body. Pyrrha looked at ruby's jagged back filled with scars old and new from different things but the ones that stood out the more where the claw scars. Ruby could feel her eyes on her and turned her head with an annoyed look*

Ruby:is there a problem?

*Ruby said harshly hugging herself, ruby was a survivor in more ways then one*

Pyrrha:n..no no just.... didn't expect you to take your clothes off like that!

*Pyrrha said giving an awkward laugh hoping ruby would buy it. Ruby did and laid on her bed*

Ruby:this is gonna be my home for the next 4 years might as well get comfortable

Ren:so the fact that I'm a men doesn't come in to consideration?

*Ruby just casually took out self and pointed it to Ren, lazily looking at the only men in the room*

Ruby:no since if you know what's good for you you'll keep your eyes on that girlfriend of yours

*Nora blushed and started laughing loudly forcefully waving her arm dismissively*

Nora: he's not my boyfriend!! He's just a friend that happens to be a boy, do we really look like a couple? Are we a cute couple? I think we would be a cute couple oh!

*Ren placed a pancake that he got from who knows where in Nora's mouth to silence her, Ren glanced at ruby*

Ren:fair enough, care to aim that thing somewhere else ?

*Ruby hummed twirling the gun and placing it on the night stand*

Ruby:fine fine I'm going to sleep anyways, do not wake me up

*Ruby turned around and quickly went to sleep rubbing her head softly on the warm bed*

1 hour later

Outside the dorm room

Blake:this is a real bad idea, you know this right?

Yang: you've told me this since I told you about it yesterday. I'm telling you ruby is gonna love them!

Blake:yeah nothing says "sorry for leaving you to be eaten" like cookies

*Blake said in slight disgust, yang's smile faltered, but then went back to a determined one*

Yang: she loves cookies, I know this will be a good way to at least start somewhere. And don't think I didn't hear that venom in your tone Blake, you really want to throw that rock?

*Blake frowned and crossed her arms looking at yang*

Blake:that's a low blow, i left the white fang because I couldn't agree with there violent ways, you left that poor girl to the literal wolves because of fear we are not the same

Yang:look are you gonna help me or not?

Blake:I already said I won't

Yang:great that's what I like to hear!

*Yang said completely ignoring Blake as she knocked the door. After a few moments Pyrrha opened the door with a smile*

Pyrrha:hello! What can I help you two with?

*Blake just shrugged pushing yang a bit making them walk inside*

Blake:I'm just here for...moral support I guess

Pyrrha:oh? Well then yang why are you here?.....yang?

*Both turned around and flinched seeing yang walking to ruby's bed. Yang looked at ruby's back, the scars, and more importantly where the skin ended and scales began showing where the beowolf ate her little sister's arm off it wasn't a clean bite from the lines*

With ruby in her dreams

*Jake got up the bed putting his clothes on, while ruby laid there hugging herself a crying, sweaty mess, Jake looked at her making ruby flinch terrified*

Jake:keep looking at me like that and I might have to give you another lesson in your responsibility as my property....

*Ruby confused and not knowing what to do just turned around facing the wall, ruby wanted to scream but she couldn't when she felt Jake hand on her bleeding back*

Present

* the second Yang placed a hand on ruby's back, ruby's eyes shot open and moved, she grabbed defense that she kept under her pillow and in a matter of 2 seconds she had defense's metal tip right under yang's chin*

* seeing it was yang it just made ruby all the more mad as all her fear left her body now all she was feeling is hatred*

Ruby: didn't I warn you all that I wouldn't be responsible is Xiao long came near me?

*Ruby said each word filled with poison, Blake started walking slowly to the two sisters*

Blake:we weren't paying attention to her, ruby put the gun...

*Ruby growled turned the gun around and slammed the hilt on yang's throat making yang stumble back holding it in pain. Blake was quick to be on her partner side as ruby got up and puts on the closest shirt she found*

Ruby:be grateful that killing you would affect my mission if it wasn't for that I would've shot you and enjoy watching the life escape your eyes

*Ruby grabbed self and defense and started walking away, she looked down at the bag of cookies yang made, ruby kneeled down and grabbed them*

Ruby;I'm going shooting to calm some steam since I have the perfect target now

*Ruby said smirking tossing the cookies up and down as she walked away leaving yang and her new team there alone*

Blake:well....she did take the cookies

*Blake said at some small attempt to make yang feel better, it did nothing as involuntarily tears fell from her face, Pyrrha walked to yang and placed her hand on yang's shoulder, giving her a sympathetic smile*

Pyrrha: don't worry she'll come around I just know it just give her time

Yang: I know that! Don't you think I know that!? But how can I give her time when all I want to do is be by her side it's been so long that I thought my little sister was dead and n..now there she is and I can't....I...I can't...

*Yang started to furiously rub her eyes, all the while no one saw Ren walking out of the room, going the same direction ruby left*

With ruby

*We see her in the roof of beacon, she threw a cookie and shot it. Ruby couldn't hear the world around her as she grabbed her gun tighter, her ears were ringing and all she could hear were Jake's words*

Jake:spread them you fucking slut

*Another shot another cookie turned in to crumbs*

Jake:quit whining that didn't hurt I know how much you liked it

*Ruby threw 3 cookies at the same time and shot them all at the center with one bullet*

Jake:look at you crying there, your nothing more then damaged goods

*Ruby threw the rest of the cookies, she grabbed both self and defense and shot them all down*

Ren:you have impressive aim

*Ren simply said bringing ruby out of her mind, ruby looked at Ren confused as he offered her a handkerchief, that is until she felt something we fall off her cheek. She grabbed it and cleaned her eyes*

Ruby: thanks for the compliment, but why are you here?

*Ruby muttered softly, taking a few steps away from Ren since ruby didn't trust him, more specifically his gender. Ren just hummed and looked at the setting sun*

Ren:you can't be left unsupervised, Pyrrha was busy so I volunteered myself and Nora that should be here soon enough, she's probably coming by climbing all the windows If I know her and believe me I do

*Ren said in a calm voice, the second ruby heard Nora's name she calmed a little but her tail was still rattling slightly*

Ren:I like your guns

Ruby:....thanks got them off the corpse of Jake, they were his pride and joy heh bet he's glaring up at me for even touching his babies

Ren:more specifically your babies since they are yours now

Ruby:yeah they're mine now that's for sure, can't say I'm a better shooter then him sadly that's something he still beats me at

Ren:that's just because he had experience

*Ruby just shook her head and kept her eyes at the sunset, as in the background Ren was skipping towards them*

Ruby:nah, the way he used these guns, truly was a gift sick fuck as he was he truly knew how to use a gun

Ren:hm, hopefully we'll get to see you use them tomorrow

Ruby:don't have much of a choice in the matter since miracle is out of commission

Nora:Ren let's go get some pancakes for dinner!

*Ren looked at ruby's whine he patted Nora's head*

Ren:since you can't be left alone....

Ruby;yeah yeah, I'll join you two on your little date, out of targets anyhow

*again Nora tried to deny ruby's claim, but ruby ignored her taking some cactus juice out of her pocket and drinking it to numb her old memories making them at the very least fuzzy*
