*Ruby finished her monologue and started breathing heavily, her tail stopped rattling, Pyrrha tried to give ruby some physical comfort, but ruby pushed her away, and started walking away from them*

Ruby:This is what it means to be the rose of vacuo, I have to make the tough unimaginable choices, of choosing who gets free and who remains here to die. I have to make compromises in order to have all the necessary things I need to save people, if that means that a few people have to die in order for the majority to flourish? Then so fucking be it.

*Ruby was trying her best, but that little rant didn't make her feel any better, it just made her seething even more then before*

Ruby:argh, I need to be alone right now, you two find the lab, figure out just what the hell they were doing here, I'm gonna go free the slaves

*Ruby said opening the stairs door, and closing it loudly, Pyrrha sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, and looked at yang, Pyrrha wasn't mad at her mind you, since she had the same reaction, she was frustrated at the situation, she was frustrated that ruby was taking a step back in her recovery, and she was frustrated that she couldn't do anything about it right now. So she just looked at yang*

Pyrrha:come on, let's find the laboratory, and we can talk, about what happened

With ruby

*We see her walking down the Flight of stairs, walking pass the dead guards and scientists catnap killed, ruby was barely paying any attention to the dead corpses around her, she was more concentrated in looking around, just waiting for them to pop up*

Ruby:stop stalling! I know you guys are still there! Get it over with already!!

*Ruby screamed, almost almost slipping and hitting her head, but she held the bar railing just in time*

Ruby:look at that, I almost broke my neck out, isn't that pathetic?!

*Ruby screamed, and then gave a closed mouth scream of frustration when raven didn't pop up, she just kept walking down*

Ruby: it's fine, it's fine, they'll pop up, and then I'll be proven right, I don't need fucking pills, I've never needed pills, and the chip did in fact cause the hallucinations

*Ruby said out loud, not even believing it herself, but she was desperate to go back to the illusion, that all her mental problems, were caused by the chip. She took a breath when she made it to the basement door, that was ripped from its hinges. Ruby walked inside and turned on the light, the slaves there all looked at her, with concern in there eyes*

Ruby:For those who don't know, god sent me here, he has heard your prayers and have sent me, to free you from this life. I am the rose of vacuo

*Ruby said, and got the usual, the crying, the sighs of relief, people hugging, screams of joy, the whole nine yards. Seeing these people happy, just made ruby feel good about her choice, she started walking and opening the cages*

Ruby:but, none of this would've been possible without the prayers of one special individual, the man who never gave up hope, and kept praying for salvation, the same person who ripped the door open for us to escape

Susie:t..that was my brother! Mike! I..I thought he was crazy, where is he?! I have to apologize, to tell him I'm sorry telling him to give up hope

*Susie said, ruby looked at the trembling girl, with a big wobbly smile on her face, you would think, this would get something out of ruby, but no. She was too drained, and was numb to the world*

Ruby:sadly, God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers, he died, so that you all could live. But he told me to find, his sister, to tell her that he forgives her, and tell you he loves you

Susie:w..what? N..no no, no no no, h...he can't be dead!

Ruby pov

*Said the woman trying to deny the fact that her brother died, with her last words being something harsh, by the way she's reacting. Pity for her she's being dragged to the truth. I finished opening the cages, and calling raven again, a red portal appeared, and she came out of it, with that fake smile she gives the slaves as if she's the one risking her life, to save people*

Raven:ok, everybody in the portal, once there, they're be people who'll help you, any way they can. Petal, did you get what I asked?

Ruby:yes, but Pyrrha has it at the moment, you'll get it after, these people are safe

*I said lying, I wasn't about to give this to Raven, unless I have witnesses. Raven looked down at me, trying to see if I would make any sort of movement, that would tell her if I was lying, more specifically she was looking at my call. My fucking Tail that always tells my emotions, but I managed to keep it from moving. I managed to get my fear of her damn bird like eyes under control, and went to help those who couldn't walk into the portal*

With yang and Pyrrha

Back to 3rd person

*We see them at the lab, looking for any documents showing what they were doing here*

Yang:oh God, what did I do.

*Or at least Pyrrha was, yang was busy whining and moping around. Yang groaned loudly and hit her head on the wall, on purpose*

Yang:I..I..I didn't mean to snap at her like that! I kept telling my self to just shut up, but I couldn't stop, why couldn't I stop! Argh stupid!

*Yang hit herself against the wall again, hard enough to crack it, and for a bit of blood to fall from her forehead*

Yang:why....why couldn't I shut up...we were doing so well Pyrrha, she hugged me! She asked me for a hug! I'm never gonna get that back! Oh why didn't I savor It?!

Pyrrha: she'll get over it, not fast mind you, but she will. Just give her a proper apology, maybe bake her some cookies, when you say I'm sorry

*Pyrrha said not even looking at her, yang smiled brightly, her mood changing completely*

Yang:your right! I will get back hug privileges! Just you wait and see!

Raven:god your loud, didn't tai, teach you about inside voices?

*Yang flinched and looked at the red portal, ruby and Raven were walking out of it, ruby ignored yang giving her a cold shoulder, and walked me, to Pyrrha who gave her that smile, that made ruby feel butterflies*

Raven:did you find anything?

Pyrrha:as a matter a fact I did, something about project maiden

*That got the attention of both ruby and Raven, raven walked to Pyrrha with her arms crossed, she raised her eyebrow expectedly*

Pyrrha:it was nothing really, they were trying to make the maiden powers from fairy tales real. It's simply ridiculous

Ruby:your right, almost as ridiculous as silver eyes powers from fairy tales right?

*Ruby said with a small smirk even activating her silver eyes to make a point, raven showing her aunt side, didn't miss a beat, and activated her maiden powers, yang and Pyrrha was the shining eyes of white and red*

Pyrrha:wait so the maidens....

Ruby:are very much real, meet the holder of the spring maiden powers, raven branwen.

*Ruby said deactivating the silver eyes, before she uses what little magic she got back from resting, Pyrrha looked at ruby with worry, for that little stunt, while yang was looking at her mother surprised*

Yang:wait, if you have that power, why didn't you go with summer when she needed you?

Raven:I got it after she died, and secondly, you can blame ozpin for that, he made summer take this secret mission alone, instead of with her team. But I don't have the time to get into it, nor do I care enough, to talk about it. Now my little petal, I believe you have something I want

*Raven said looking at ruby, a small smirk couldn't help but appear on raven's face, since Pyrrha had her hands on Ruby's cheek, checking to see if she was ok.

Ruby pov

*I could feel raven's stare, I could feel my cheeks burning up becoming crimson red, at an alarming rate, and I could feel my heart beating faster and faster, feeling Pyrrha's hand softly caress my cheeks, to make sure I was ok. I try to squirm free from her, feeling embarrassed, and showing that I was embarrassed, in my body language. I whisper to Pyrrha so the other's wouldn't hear*

Ruby:angel, not with company....

Pyrrha:oh, hush, just making sure your ok, as your team leader, is my job and privilege to look after you

*I felt my knees becoming weak hearing those words, It made butterflies start to fly in my stomach, but I made sure it didn't last*

Ruby"she wants pretty boy, not you. She will never want you, accept that"

3rd person

*Ruby managed to squirm away, and coughed, trying to get back her dignity, she walked to raven and gave her the jar with the eyes. Raven lifted the jar and looked at it, with an amused expression*

Raven:really, it's ironic, all this time, money and research, trying to copy the maiden's powers, and they never realized that one of there test subjects, had the summer's maiden power all this time

Ruby:what do you expect? There city folks, they wouldn't know the difference between a blueberry and a Nightlock berry

*Ruby said with a bit of her Southern accent, raven nodded in total agreement, she opened the jar and grabbed the eyes, absorbing the powers into herself, becoming more powerful then before*

Raven:you did good petal, consider this test passed, now let me give you a little reward

*Raven said putting her hand on Ruby's forehead, Pyrrha and yang were surprised, and a little worried when ruby started to glow, Pyrrha had her hand on her weapon, just in case. Ruby stopped glowing, and looked at herself*

Raven:to calm you two down, I just healed her physical wounds, she's completely healed, and her tank is full so to speak. Don't say I don't do anything for yah, brat

*Raven said with a small almost ghost of a smile, ruby grumbled a thank you and walked next to Pyrrha, who was for one over the moon, for ruby. Raven did a portal that lead to there campsite*

Raven:alright, the 3 of you out. I'm gonna blow this place up, I don't need people trying to copy my powers. Petal, I'll get you a new necklace later, so don't get into trouble until then. I don't need a repeat of summer, not again

*Raven muttered that last part to herself, she shocked her head and looked ag the younger females with a frown*

Raven:well? What are you waiting for? Scram. I wasn't kidding about the explosion, I got C-4 all over this place

*The 3, nodded and walked into the portal, making it to there campsite, Ruby glanced at raven doing a another portal for herself, this was the things the fake raven never got right, that in the end of it all, raven really did care for her, in her own way*
