*The 3 girls walked out of the portal and looked around, they were in an alley way. Ruby gave out an annoyed breath*

Ruby:of course she couldn't just teleport us at the location. No no no, she has to be a bitch and make us find it too

*Ruby grumbled putting her bandana over her face to hide her reptilian face, it was then that yang realized something. She snapped her eyes down, ruby only had Pyrrha's sweater on. Nothing else*

Yang:yeah no. Before that mission, we're getting you some clothes

Ruby:I would rather die of hyperthermia, then use clothes of Panem. Let's go.

*Ruby said walking ahead of them, to look for the building, yang looked at Pyrrha, asking with her eyes to do something. Pyrrha sighed, feeling like the peace maker between the two sisters. She walked up to ruby, and placed her hand on Ruby's shoulder*

Pyrrha:we won't get anything crazy, just something to cover up your legs, I promise

Ruby:.....I don't do skirts. Come on, I know of at least one place, that won't call the cops on me

*Ruby mumbled with a small blush of embarrassment, as the 3 turned around and left to find a clothes shop. While at the back of Yang's mind, she was jealous that Pyrrha could be so close to ruby*

Scene change

Ruby:alright we're here.

*Ruby said looking up at the small shop, ruby opened the door with the two older girls behind her, she heard the all top familiar ring of the door's bell and the smile of the woman on the counter*

Tigris:well, isn't this a sight for poor eyes, little ruby rose

Ruby:cute, the rose of vacuo Is fine, you faker

*Ruby said dryly, the woman waved her hand dismissively, and smiled at the other two*

Tigris:please all of you come in, welcome to my shop. Whatever you need I have, and shame on you ruby, aren't you gonna introduce me?

Ruby:yeah yeah, meet Tigris snow. Cousin and last living relative to the leader of the panem

Tigris:charmed I'm sure

*Tigris said in a silky smooth soft voice, both yang and Pyrrha could tell something was just off about her, yang being the simple country girl couldn't but her finger on it. While Pyrrha being more perceptive caught on. surgical enhancements, lots and lots of surgical enhancements, this woman must've went through over god knows how many years, that made her look more tiger-like. From having a flattened nose to having whiskers, that must've been implemented onto her face, this Tigris was looking like a feline creature, combined with her tiger-centric tattoos on her body.*

Pyrrha:you....you made yourself look like a faunus?

Tigris:for fashion my sweet, all of the cosmetic beauty of a faunus, with the genetic superiority of us Human

*Tigris said sweetly, the silent jab wasn't lost on ruby who rolled her eyes, letting her tail give a little shake as a warning, to Tigris to keep her comments to herself*

Ruby: I need pants, without any of your racist ideas

Tigris:I'm afraid, that my very true ideas are included.

*Tigris said taking ruby with her, and gesturing to the other 2 girls, to sit down and wait. They did, yang looked at Pyrrha and gave her a crooked smile*

Yang:good thing oobleck chose me, instead of Blake. I can just see her starting something, with that woman.

Pyrrha:oh dear, I can just see ruby, aiming her gun at Blake, to sit down and shut up, "while grown-ups are talking"

*Pyrrha said with a small giggle that yang responded with an amused snort, both got up when they heard ruby screaming*

Ruby:oh, fuck yourself right to hell! I am not wearing that!

Tigris:aw, come on indulge me. You still owe me from not snitching on you to the cops~

*They heard Tigris's sing song tone, and Ruby's groan. It took a few minutes and ruby came out with a big blush on her face, since the rose of vacuo, the most wanted woman in the 2 kingdoms, was wearing a skirt, the color of Yang's hair, yang had blood coming down her nose, covering her mouth over how cute ruby looked*

Ruby:I see you two city slicking girls, take ONE!!! picture and I'm shooting your damned scroll....

*All 3 of them heard the snap of someone who forgot to turn her scroll on silent, ruby slowly moved her head to yang, who accepted her fate and kept taking pictures*

Yang:I'll die a happy woman, just let me have this

*Pyrrha was glancing in-between the two sisters, glancing more at ruby, more specifically her hand, that was twitching to her gun. She took a big annoyed breath and walked away, pulling Tigris with her, by her ear*

Pyrrha:....share that picture with me.

Yang:done, but give me a minute, I'm making that picture my home wallpaper

*Yang said with a grin, a few minutes later,  ruby came back, her blush smaller. But still on her face, as she now had a pair of pants. Tigris walked up and grabbed Pyrrha's hand lifting her up, Pyrrha was confused when Tigris gave her a spin*

Tigris;hm, I have just the clothes for you

Pyrrha:wait, wait, We were just here for ruby!

*Pyrrha said nervously, she glanced at ruby to save her, but she just sat down crossing her arms*

Ruby:if I had to suffer, you suffer with me. Do her hair too

Tigris:oh, yes. I know exactly what to do

*Tigris said walking away, dragging a struggling Pyrrha with her. Yang and ruby were left alone, in a awkward silence. Ruby leaned back and closed her eyes to take a nap, yang used her scroll for around 20 minutes, till she got bored and looked at ruby*

Yang:I....uh, like your guns

Ruby:thank you kindly, you weapon is....very you.

*Ruby said trying to be civil, yang took it as a compliment and grew a soft smile showing them off*

Yang:thanks, uncle qrow helped me with the design, I even added a little rose design inside the weapon.

Ruby:very creative. I don't really do that kind of stuff, waste of time and money in vacuo,

*Ruby said with a shrug glancing down at her new guns, Another awkward silence filled the room, since yang couldn't think of what else to say, and ruby wasn't exactly, a glowing conversationalist*

Yang:so.... you and Pyrrha seem pretty close

Ruby:....I suppose you could say that, yes. She.... She found a way to get close to me

*Ruby said in a soft tone, yang nodded and grew a bit of a cheeky smile, getting a bit closer, she got back to her original place when Ruby's tail started to rattle*

Yang: do you, want to become more then friends with her?

Ruby:that's never gonna happen

Yang:that's great well.....

*Yang could hear a record scratch inside her brain going off, as ruby spared her a glance*

Ruby:did you forget? She has the biggest crush on pretty boy. I can't tell you the amount of times she's talked to me about him

Yang:ok, but that's not what I asked. Do YOU want to be more then just friends

*Yang said carefully, ruby hummed, again looking at anywhere but yang, even someone as simple minded as yang, could see the physical signals, ruby was giving out*

Ruby:it doesn't matter what I want....

Yang:ruby of course it does...

Ruby:no, no it really doesn't. Look at her, she's just....amazing. she's amazing, out going, she's not afraid of being herself and I'm....

*Ruby looked at herself in the mirror, looking at the part that wasn't human anymore, the green reptilian part of a monster, and absolutely feeling insecure about the spaghetti strap loose shirt that Tigris made her wear. In her mind she did not have the body for it*

Ruby:I'm just a pathetic freak of a drunk. A shell of who I used to be, I have nothing to offer her. How could she ever notice me in that way? She could do so much better. She deserves better, then a broken mess.

Yang:ruby, that's....

*Yang placed her hand on her shoulder, but ruby shook it off, and gave out a bitter chuckle getting up, and just pacing around a little*

Ruby:I mean, just look at her. I don't call her angel for nothing, the woman literally shines. And me? I hide in the shadows since I'm scared of showing the world the real me again

Yang:but you don't have to be scared, you don't have to be the rose of vacuo, you can just be ruby

*Yang said, trying to get through to her sister, but it was for not. Ruby just shook her head, yang just wasn't getting it*

Ruby:and what about the people who will die? The people who will be used sexually, the slaves, that will stay a slave if I stop being rose? I can't just stop Xiao long. If I stop people die, if I put myself first, people die, if I try to let people in, that person will die

*Ruby said, trauma dumping on yang, ruby was slowly growing paranoid with how quiet her mind was, normally penny would appear, to remind ruby what happens when she let's someone in, but she wasn't there. None of them were there, and ruby was freaking out about it, since she just wasn't used do it, it's only been 19 hours since she's Been taking the new pills, and already she was done with them*

Ruby:the last time I let someone hold my heart in there hands, that person died Xiao long. Everything about me, everything I do, it's toxic, and I wouldn't wish it on someone as bright as her. I would only dim her light.

*Ruby sighed the pacing, turned to her hugging herself, looking outside the glass door away from yang*

Ruby: I'm a ticking time bomb, sooner or later my luck is gonna run out, and I'll end up with a bullet in my skull, that's just facts

*Yang flinched at that statement, she wanted to say something, but what can somebody say after all that? What can yang say, that would make ruby feel better*

Ruby:she deserves someone who's gonna see there 21'st birthday, someone who she can grow old with. That person is not me, that's pretty boy. But fine, I'll play along. Yes I like her, I would love to be with her, but that's never gonna happen, since if you haven't notice Xiao long, she treats me like a friend who needs help, not a potential love interest. And I'm too chicken shit, to cross that line again, I can't go through that again....

*Ruby said softly, thinking of penny, she cleaned the tears that were coming down her face and took a few calming breath, sighing in the end there*

Ruby:But whatever I don't even know why the fuck I'm telling you all this, it's not like it matters. Keep what I just said to yourself, or I swear that I'll make you pay. She's coming

Pyrrha:so, how do I look?

*Ruby turned her head and looked at her, a small blush grew on her face, seeing what Tigris did to her. She grew a soft crooked smile*

Ruby:you look more of an angel then ever before. I'm sure pretty boy would fall for you if he saw you right now

Pyrrha:you think so?

*Pyrrha said looking at herself, she didn't noticed the sad smile on Ruby's face, but yang did*

Ruby:yeah, I'm sure he would. Come on, we still have a mission to complete

Pyrrha:right behind you rubes

*Pyrrha said walking next to her, yang got up with a small frown on her face, as she followed behind both girls, letting what ruby just told her sink into her brain. Starting to understand that for ruby, In her mind, there isn't a happy ending at the end, she fully believes she'll die alone*
