Author note:so I'm gonna be doing a bit of a retcon, on a event of Ruby's life, the time she spend with raven is now a whole year

Last time

Rose:you have to sleep sometime ruby, don't worry. Once you do I'll the there to protect you from everything....

Now

*Team JWBY, oobleck and ruby has been on train for almost 3 days. To say yang was worried about ruby, well, she was well pass that point*

Yang:ruby...

Ruby:no.

*Ruby grumpled, as she took the fresh pot of coffee and started drinking it, straight out of the pot. Yang frowned became even deeper*

Yang:ruby, we need to talk about this

Ruby:what I do, with myself is neither you, your teammates, or oobleck's business

*Ruby grumbled walking away from her, yang grabbed her shoulder, and ruby was so tired, she could only give a small hiss in response*

Yang:ruby, it's been 72 hours, and you have not slept

Ruby:my symptoms, are both manageable and none of your concern

*Ruby said weakly, moving her shoulder to get yang's hand off it, ruby kept walking but yang followed, concern for her sister*

Yang:what do you mean systems you are exhausted rubes!

Ruby:the serious.....

*Ruby almost fell on her face, yang flinched and felt her heart drop to her stomach, seeing ruby fall, but ruby caught herself and stood up straight*

Ruby:I go it, I'm fine. The serious symptoms haven't even started yet

Yang:what the fuck was that?!

*Yang yelled, her frustration winning, over her trying to be calm and understanding, but ruby was testing her patience*

Ruby:symptom 7, minor narcolepsy I'll get over it

Yang:you have it numbered?!

*Yang asked with her hands raised, ruby shrugged continuing to drink the pot of coffee*

Ruby:I have everything numbered, I'm organized, and it's not the first time I've done this

Yang:you are going to bed, this is not healthy!

*Yang said again, this time in a much more firm voice, ruby waved her hand dismissively, tempted in to giving yang the middle finger*

Ruby:I've done this before, last time was much worse

Yang:how do you get worse then 3 days?!

*Yang yelled tears of frustration falling from her face, ruby gave a hot breath, annoyed by yang's action*

Ruby: lot's of caffeine, and fear

Yang:how are you not dead?

*Yang asked crossing her arms, now ruby was really annoyed by yang's attitude, and a annoyed sleep deprived ruby, always goes for the yagular*

Ruby:because God loves me more then he loves you? Or maybe because my sick joke of a life that YOU FUCKING GAVE ME, is to entertaining for them to let me die?

Yang:....

*Yang stopped talking and looked hurt by ruby remembering her, the truth. that Ruby's like that because of her, and her stupid idea, to find raven. Yang turned around and walked away, ruby smirk seeing it as a victory and finished the pot, walking away, ignoring the fact that the other passengers, were turning into Jake, penny, raven and rose, in every seat*

The roses:god i thought she was never gonna leave, good job

The Pennies: absolutely, she was only concern and trying to help, but as always big strong rose or vacuo doesn't need any help

*The Pennies said in unison, ruby grumbled something unintelligible, and sat down at where she thought was her seat*

Ruby: I don't need help, I'm perfectly fine. And last time I asked for help what happened? Oh right you died, and now your twisted chip version won't leave me alone

Jake: are you gonna move?

*Ruby heard Jake say, ruby looked up and saw Jake with his arms crossed, tapping his foot. Ruby shook her head and Jake transformed back into one Weiss schnee*

Weiss:well? Your in my seat, are you gonna move?

Ruby:bite me, just sit somewhere else

*Ruby muttered harshly, she turned around looking out the window at the moving train, she heard Weiss scoff and walking away muttering insults at ruby, insults that she ignored, since she has literally heard worse*

Blake:she was sitting here first, and if you don't mind me asking, who were you talking to?

*Ruby looked at the other side, there was blake putting her book down and looking at her, ruby grumbled something and looked back at the window*

Ruby:go back to your book Kitty cat, I already took yang down, you don't want me to destroy your world view

Blake:....fair enough

*Blake said going back to her book, ruby huffed in victory and just enjoyed the silence, almost falling asleep multiple times, but every time Blake would kick her leg waking her up, something ruby really appreciated, even if her legs at the end of the train journey looked like a bruised peach*

Oobleck:alright! We've finally made it, from here it's just a horse ride away

Ruby:lovely, let's get this over with

*Ruby slurred out, they each got out and what ruby saw, made her rub her eyes, she looked again, and then rubbed her eyes*

Ruby:is Pyrrha in front of us waiting, or is it just symptom 4 hallucinations

Oobleck:no, we all see her, Glynda said that she'll be waiting for us

*Oobleck said, ruby nodded and gave a small smile when Pyrrha was walking up to her*

Ruby:hey, angel. Missed me....

*Ruby winced when Pyrrha slapped her, and slapped her hard. Ruby gave out a weak chuckle spitting out blood*

Ruby:ok, ok, let me explain...

Pyrrha:let you explain? Ruby you were supposed to be resting! Did you forget what Klein told you?!

*Pyrrha yelled grabbing ruby by the ear and dragging her with her, in the background Yang was extremely jealous at How close those two seemed, the others shrugged and followed after them.*

Ruby:hey, I had no choice!

Pyrrha:ruby, all you had to do was talk about your feelings, but did you do that? Nooooo, you had to act all tough and go on a mission your in absolutely no condition to be in!

*Pyrrha said, and kept monologuing, she has had days to prepare her speech prepared, and to the surprised of everyone, ruby was actually listening to her, like actually listening to her and looked if even a little, she looked ashamed*

Ruby: I'm.... I'm sorry I worried you angel

Pyrrha: I'll forgive you, but after this your done. You'll rest for a week, no exercises, no homework, nothing. You.will.rest!

*Pyrrha said harshly, it made ruby wince and nod, Pyrrha let go of her. Ruby rubbed her ear but followed behind her. They made it to the stables and ruby saw something that made her eyes widen*

Ruby:miracle? What is she doing here?

Pyrrha:since this was gonna be a horse ride the rest of the way there, I figured you would want your horse. Glynda even gave us all the material you asked for, when your mission started

*Pyrrha said with a small smile, ruby smiled and walked to get to work, while in the background oobleck was squealing like a little girl, finally being able to see how ruby made miracle*

Scene change

*While ruby was working, Pyrrha was talking with team JWBY, while slowly, trying to stand next to jaune*

Yang:she hasn't slept in 3 days, and seeing as you and her are so....close

Pyrrha: don't worry, I'll handle it, while you guys are on your missing. I'll make sure she sleeps.... Amongst other things

*Pyrrha thought as she remembered the Antipsychotic pills she has on her bag, she had to hope ruby will see reason and take them*

Meanwhile with oobleck

Oobleck"god is dead, and she killed him"

*Oobleck said looking at what ruby created, it was garbage. And he didn't mean it as a insult, she literally, just destroyed everything and placed them together. It looked like garbage*

Pyrrha:did...did you do it wrong?

Ruby: trust the process angel, there's still one thing missing

*Ruby said grabbing Pyrrha's weapon, everyone looked confused, confused went to concern from Pyrrha and yang since ruby activated one of her silver eyes. Ruby sliced her palm open making it bleed, ruby pulled her bleeding hand forward, and oobleck's belief was restored, as the blood wasn't red anymore. It was white, the white blood fell on the garbage, and a horrible sound of metal morphing and combining together till it turned into a metallic heart, ruby activated her second eye and healed her palm*

Oobleck: incredible! The silver eyes actually made a metallic functioning organ!? But how?! I simply must know!

Ruby:as...as much as I hate that sick fuck of a snake, he did tell me how to use my eyes. He....

*Ruby felt someone holding her hand and giving a squeeze, ruby looked and smiled softly at Pyrrha giving her support. Ruby took a breath and continued talking about the snake*

Ruby:He told me, that the silver eyes as basically a big fuck you to the laws of physics

Jaune:....so basically bugs bunny toon force?

*Jaune asked, Weiss rolled her eyes at his Idiocracy, but to her shock ruby nodded*

Ruby:a much lesser version of that but yeah. It all depends on how much silver magic a person has, both of Jake's parents had silver eyes, so his powers were extremely powerful, hell the only reason he died was because of his hubris 

Oobleck:I see, fascinating. Simply EXTREMELY fascinating. So you simply thought of a horse heart, and the silver magic in your blood made that garbage pile into a heart?

*Oobleck said touching the beating electrical heart, ruby gave him a a nod, yang thought of something and was curious*

Yang:if that snake, told you how to use it. Who taught you how to use it?

Ruby:raven branwen.

*Ruby simply said as she walked up to the heart and placed it inside of miracle, miracle's eyes slowly opened and she saw the face of her creator. Ruby smiled softly petting the horse's head*

Ruby:hey baby, sorry It took me so long, I've been busy

Oobleck:marvelous...

*Oobleck whispered, ruby hopped on top of miracle and gave Pyrrha her hand, Pyrrha grabbed it and climbed on miracle, ruby looked down at the rest, not gonna lie. She missed feeling taller then everyone else when she was on top of her horse*

Ruby:well? What are y'all standing here for, get a horse and let's ride. I hope y'all can catch up, miracle. Find Zwei!

*Ruby yelled happy, the adrenaline of having her horse back giving her more energy then the caffeine, miracle made a loud horse sound and galloped away faster then any normal horse, could ever dream of running, the current world record was 47.97 mph, miracle was going a amazing 93.56 mph*
